La Gourmandise

Incredible food! Picked them based on proximity enroute to the Valcartier Ice Hotel and was blown away by the quality of the food. I had the smash cheeseburger and the patty was tasty and perfect - not dry at all, but it still held together nicely. My wife had the Bebé Brisket and loved it. We split a medium Pulled Pork Poutine and it took a WHILE to get to the fries - there was that much meat, curds, and gravy. Once we got to the fries, they were delicious - crispy outsides and buttery in the middle. As an added bonus, the folks running this unassuming little food stand are fluently bilingual, so I didn’t need to rely on my sketchy français. Don’t hesitate to try this place out!

Amazing poutine and stellar service. If you are ever around here look no further for some mouth watering poutine. We also tried the smash burgers which were also great.
