La Grappe d'Or - Riquewihr

The atmosphere is extremely charming. The service was very friendly and pleasant. The dishes were well-served and the flavor was incredible. It was definitely our best meal on this four-day trip to nearby cities. We got a table by luck, don't try to get one, reservations are necessary. The dessert was light and full of flavor, I loved it. The price was fair. Our bill came to about 130 euros, for 4 people, we ordered a sparkling wine, 4 main dishes and two desserts to share. If you are in this area, you should definitely go to this restaurant.

This hidden gem in Riquewihr is a must, they do not have reservations but trust me you won’t regret. We got earlier at 18:00, when they just opened, the wine, the starters and the main course are just awesome, everything is delicious. They offer 3 different menus, this is a good option in case you want starter, main dish and dessert! The staff is awesome, definitely a place to go back more than once!

It was a recommendation of a sales person at Dopff au Moulin, and we were happy that we listened to it! Perfect and very happy service. Very nice food, good portions and very fairly priced! The couch that we sat in was quite comfortable, and overall a very joyous experience!

I've been at Le Grappe d'Or with my wife and two kids for dinner while visiting Riquewihr, late April 2025. The food was absolutely amazing, kids loved the Foie Gras and they even had a taste of the escargot, which is not that common for an eight and five-year-old. The service was also excellent, with the lady making a considerable effort to communicate with us in English. The price was also reasonable, considering that Riquewihr is such a popular tourist destination. If we ever return to Alsace (and we will), we will pay this restaurant a second visit.

We particularly enjoyed the prawn cocktail and duck breast - best duck breast through our entire trip to Alsace! The escargots is okay only...Super busy place during Christmas and we're glad to secure a seat from the day before.
