A Guide to Nashville’s Hangover Friendly Restaurants - Eater Nashville
"The best cure for a hangover is... tacos? While we can certainly understand how tacos might be comforting the morning after a night of drinking, traditional Mexican soups like pozole and menudo have long been considered the best remedy for hangover. Fortunately, La Hacienda serves both on weekends." - Kristy Lucero
Place was clean, love the table and chair setting. They have pictures of presidente obama taking takeout with them. The food took a while to be brought out... why? 🤷🏻♀️ they weren't busy with alot of customers. Starter was chips and salsa they gave us red and green salsa that was graved from a small fridge by entrance but the red one was spoiled told waitress and they still left it in fridge to give out... The one taco brought to us was extremely tiny with two fresh containers of salsa... that salsa was good but order three tacos if you want it to equal one regular size. They also brought us a breakfast dish and caldo de res which had no flavor and mostly all vegetables. I will not be trying them again any time soon. I do not recommend.

The food was good but my issue is the service. Ordered cheese dips it came a minute or two before the entrées. Will have to go try it again. Went a Friday after the lunch rush (2pm) but they were still packed. I loved the chicken taquitos/ flautas. The rice is also really good. A fun fact is President Obama ate here and they have a plate sampling what he ordered. The food is good just the over all experience could be improved.

Server was kinda rude after he forgot multiple items, food was delicious and beautifully prepared, some items were a bit over cooked, even essentials like the rice, which may be a preference thing but atmosphere was great and the staff otherwise was awesome. Try the ceviche it was wonderful!

Best steak Chimichanga in town! Obama got carryout here a few years ago and they have a wall of pictures to prove it. Mom likes it too!

Lunch time service is top notch and quick. Tacos were great and the torta looked awesome. Chips and salsa are standard fare. I would definitely go back.
9-12-2019 the parking lot is currently a mess. So parking is limited.

Good presentation ,poor flavor 😢 this is more like an American restaurant , it's kinda busy and popular i would say because Barack Obama was here so maybe that's one of the reasons.

I meant to take a picture of the food but it smelled so good I forgot. Great chicken tacos. I’m not usually a fan of Mexican style rice but the rice here is amazing. The guacamole was absolutely fabulous. Fast and friendly service. Enjoy the wall of pictures of President Obama’s visit.
