Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had and easily the best burger in Arizona. Burgers are grass fed and prepared with natural ingredients. You can’t go wrong here.

I will only want a burger from here from now on. The Viva Mexico was incredible!! Best burger I have had in years!!! Worth ever calorie, penny, degree of heat !!

Wow the burgers are Fenomenal! & the ‘F’ is for Fresh bread, fresh meat, fresh fries. Locally sourced AZ grass fed beef, fresh veggies quality veggies, & Locally sourced beef tallow used to triple fry the hand cut French fries. The bun is like biting into a cloud! The buns are a homemade Japanese style milk bun. The meat melts in your mouth (pause) and their sauce, homemade as well is very good. The ranch went well with the fried and burger. They have homemade pickles as well. They are very nice people. One of the best burgers I’ve had Just keep in mind. Everything is homemade and fresh so it may take a little time especially if there is a line. Best burger I’ve ever had, hands down (I usually get the signature but they’re all good). Great fries too, they use beef tallow. Quality ingredients and everything cooked fresh. The service is way better than what you expect from a food truck too, everyone is friendly and they bring your food right to you. One of the few burgers I’ve had that I’d go an hour out of my way to get again. They are a food truck, so make sure and check their Instagram to see where they’re going to be on a given night.

That’s has taken the #1 spot on my list for best burgers. Getting out the car u smell that wagyu and you know it’s gonna be good. I went with a couple people we all got different burgers and all of them were incredible. Do yourself a favor and try them out there is no way you’ll regret it. If I can give 6 outta 5 I would.

La Hamburgesa is hands-down the best burger I’ve ever had. You can taste the difference in their quality ingredients—they clearly don’t take shortcuts. We find ourselves tracking their location at least once a week because nothing else compares. It’s ruined all other burgers for both my husband and I.

Not only did they deliver to our table, Cassius came around to check on us and asked how we liked the food. I’ve never had someone from a food truck provide such phenomenal service and really show that they care about the quality of the food they serve. The food truck was super clean and appealing! It was my first time coming and trying this place. Im all for local support. A 30+ wait time for my food. My burger I got was bland. Felt like my food was rushed. And the beef tallow fries I got were not it. The frys they gave me were over cooked and not even salted. The guy taking orders was nice and apologized for the wait time. But those fries were terrible. Like I understand being busy but do you care about quality? Would I try again, maybe? Keep supporting local, but local vendors if you read this. Make sure you hold your standard of you food to everyone

The fact that this is a food truck is insane. Every item is made to order so it does take a little longer but for perfection it's worth the extra time. I have been several times now because the burger is so amazing as is(the classic). The grilled onions are a must even if you're not an onion fan. Grilled to perfection and just the right seasoning. They have a house sauce that makes this juicy burger off the chart. The fries are made in beef tallow which you can definitely taste the difference and it makes me only want fries done this way. Make sure to follow them because they move to different locations every week! Definitely worth following them all over the valley!

Wow! I am not a burger person -- to the point where I only get beef burgers maybe twice a year -- but La Hamburguesa may be a go-to spot from now on. We attended the latest Crete pop-up and were thoroughly impressed at the freshness of the ingredients, which were all handmade in-house. The Classic Burger came with an amazing wagyu patty that was spilling out of the bun, balanced by the tangy pickles and fresh tomatoes. The beef tallow fries were solid, and the person manning the pop-up (who was so friendly and checked in throughout the night!!) brought us some secret sauce to try, which was wonderfully pickley and a must-have for all my future visits. I was wimpy and scared to try the Viva Mexico, but I think I'll be back to embrace the spice of their most beautiful burger now that I can confirm even the standards are fab :')

Wow! I was truly amazed with this burger we pulled up after the owner told us there was an hour wait. We got there just in time to grab the last few burgers and fries. Delicious!

Very solid place for a burger in the valley. Since they're a food truck it's best to check their Instagram for their weekly setup and locations. I have always gone to the Crete tea shop during their pop ups and it never disappoints. The burgers with the Japanese milk buns are homemade and make a huge difference in adding great quality to the burger. Fries are cooked in beef tallow and are $5. Would definitely get them anytime they are near the east!

I'd been wanting to try La Hamburguesa for a while, and I'm so glad I finally did--wow. This burger is insanely tasty. The quality really shines through, from the hand-cut fries fried in beef tallow to the homemade buns and flavorful wagyu beef. Every bite felt thoughtful and indulgent. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance matched the vibe--relaxed, clean, and inviting. Honestly, this is one of the best--if not the best--burgers I've ever had. Already looking forward to my next visit!

We ordered "The Classic" and "Viva Mexico," and I must say, this is the best burger I've had in Phoenix so far! The wagyu patty was so juicy and not greasy at all. The Japanese milk bun was a game-changer - it's way better than the traditional brioche. And the sauce was absolutely delicious! We were also so lucky to have the baklava cheesecake made by Chilte's Chef. It was also incredibly good! We're definitely going back and ordering two next time.

I love this place it was grate who would of thought this place would be selling Wague Burgers on a Japanese milk bun no me this is my new favorite spot from that tasty burger cooked perfectly loved the crispness of the meat there pickels had a good flavor and there amazing bread put the whole thing together the beef fat fry were grate too there super friendly the only negative thing it does take a while fir the food maybe 40 mins but there was only 2 of them cook I will ge back for sure

The thing that sets this place apart is the ingredients. From the homemade bun, the sauce, down to the pickles themselves, you can tell just how fresh and good quality everything is. We went on a Friday night around 6 and it wasn't too busy, but there were a lot of orders ahead of ours, so we ended up waiting about a half hour for our burgers and fries, and yes it was 100% worth it. The woman taking orders was so nice, really everyone was! You can also take your food into the restaurant to eat if you want. We don't live far so we took ours home. So happy to report, it travels well! The fries are cooked in beef tallow which give them a level up on crunch and flavor. What made this a 5 for me was just the freshness and quality of the food. To me, as weird as it is, the bun made it. It's a GOOD burger because every element of it is a 10/10. Give it a try!

Burger was a bit too salty and dripping in grease. I got the bacon cheeseburger, maybe the bacon added to the saltiness? overall it was just good. food took a while to come out, but always worth the wait when the food comes out fresh and hot.

By far the best burgers in town, I try to go every time my schedule aligns with theirs and the guys are always so nice and friendly they remember me and my boyfriend Fares by now. Sometimes it might be a little of a wait but definitely worth it every time. You can taste the quality and I love how they resource their ingredients locally. Over all great taste and definitely worth trying you won't regret it! Also they always have the best collabs!!!

Have had this spot on the list to try for a while and it did not disappoint! Best burger I have had in AZ- meat was great quantity, and the Japanese milk bun was the perfect fluffy addition. I tried the bacon avocado burger and it was delicious. Also got the fries and they were great, don't forget the perfect homemade ranch. Only downside is that it was a bit of a drive-wish it was closer!

Great flavor! Got two burgers and both were great. Fries were over cooked and I waited an hour but the food was worth it! Beef tallow fried fries? Made up for them being over cooked. They were PACKED so I get it. That's a good problem to figure out and shows why it's worth it. I didn't hear ONE complaint for a reason. They're doing great and I can see this being a large chain if they keep their charm and quality. Hopefully I can make it when they're doing a special burger next time.

Honestly best burger in AZ! Chef Hernan's smash burgers are unreal. The meat is seasoned well and his special sauce hits the spot. It feels like a pub style burger in the best way. I ordered the double double with fries. Service was awesome as staff and even chef came out to check on all customers. Can't wait to keep coming back

We went to their pop up at Crete and the burgers were amazing!! Definitely distinct burger using homemade pickles and their secret sauce along with everything cooked to perfection. Also the server that helped us was very attentive and even gave us some secret sauce to eat with our fries on the house. Overall great experience :)

To call La Hamburguesa "the best smash burger in phoenix" would be an understatement. Not only does chef Hernan make everything from scratch and use beef tallow to cook, but the service, personal experience, and approach towards the craft he's curated is a marvel within itself. From starting in October to now selling out in sometimes 3 hours from the time of opening, no one deserves the burgeoning success more than the lovely individuals who run this soon to be restaurant. If you become a regular expect to be treated like family and not like a stranger!

The fries and smashed burger was scrumptious, savory and flavorful! Not to mention the customer service is 100% personal and attentive to every detail. This is the best BURGER SPOT in the valley! You have to try this place!

After searching and trying all the smash burgers in town... I can honestly say this spot is my favorite. The quality of the ingredients are unmatched, and each item is homemade from the buns to the pickles. That level of effort is not something you can find just anywhere, and these guys are crushing on the execution. If you're considering thinking about going, stop thinking about it and just go. It's well worth it!

Personal advice? You should eat here. Professional advice, yes. But I'm not a professional. I'm just a firm believer in doing the small things well. Quality beef and buns, all carefully crafted together with each offering of available burgers on the menu. House special was very good as well, I like that they gave us extra on the side to use. Shared co-space with another restaurant (Sushi Sonora) so parking is limited. Opt for street parking as the parking space is small too. Lil patio on the side to sit and eat with space available inside of the restaurant as well. In short, worth your hard earned money.

The burger was awesome! Waited a little cause there was a line and it was feshly cooked. Didn't taste liked frozen meat. Been wanting to go back since I tried it. I believe it was the owner that asked us if we liked it, very nice and humble. Great service. TRY IT!!

Literally one of the BEST BURGERS I've had!! We had the PB&J and it was AMAZING!!! The fries... MAAAAAAN!!! 12/10!! They really have something here! The wait was a little long, but we were happy to wait from the first bite!! The staff was so incredibly nice and polite, despite the stress of constant rushes of traffic. There is nothing mid about what they are doing. If I had any sort of constructive criticism, it would be to let people know how long of an actual wait it is. You can't blame them, though, you don't want to rush the quality. It's a good problem to have. We drove 40 minutes and it was absolutely worth it and then some! We will definitely be back!

not only does the food taste delicious but knowing the ingredients are clean with beef tallow and grass fed beef. i had my dad try my fried and he said they tasted nostalgic and real food use to taste like this, service was great and the atmosphere was busy but for good reason everyone loves this place

You'll have to go to burger heaven to find a better burger. Service was great you're greeted upon arriving. Food truck is location all over the phoenix and surrounding areas if you haven't eaten you are missing out

My wife had found this place on Instagram and we drove from Casa Grande to try it. And I have to say the 45min drive was worth it. Hands down the best burger I've had in my life no exaggeration. And the beef tallow fries are amazing. Only downside was I ordered the Fire burger but got the Viva Mexico Burger instead however it was a nice mistake because I definitely enjoyed it so didn't even bother asking for it to be fixed. We will definitely be going back.

Overall had a great experience. Their fries were very good as they were fried in beef tallow. Great quality ingredients, only thing would be that the spicy burger takes away from the flavor of the meat. I'd eat this burger with just cheese again.

Service is a1 don't mind being in a rush or asking questions. It's in the cut in the trenches of Phoenix open till the run out of food. Slightly overpriced I would say this is more date night food rather than somewhere to get a quick bite for the whole family. Hopefully they add a kids size burger. The food is really good tho

Been wanting to try this spot for while, but my schedule conflicts with their hours... Finally tried it today and man let me tell you... These guys know what they're doing!!! Everything is fresh and quality is on point! Their sauces... I'm not even a ranch guy, but damn!! I can tell when someone cares about the food they put out and these guys do a damn good job! Service is on point as well!! Damn good food and service is a recipe for success!! Keep it up guys!!

to start off the food was good but not worth the price, I got half a katsu chicken sandwich for 17$ that's right 17$ for HALF a sandwich, they cut the sides off then cut it in half again, they was sliders at that point... we got a burger too and again it was good just not worth 15$ for just the sandwich no drink or fry. The service was great and ambiance was nice. I'm trying to figure out how to post a picture but can't figure it out but once I do y'all will see! Edit: yes I've had this sandwich before in Cali, made from "scratch" and it was 10$ (also a food truck) and it was made with thicker milk bread (how it's suppose to) so I got more than what I got here, your food was great just not worth the price to me... made me feel like I was at the the state fair lol also it wasn't the best sandwich I would say if it was but no, you cut the crust off then cut in the middle y'all cut twice it was legit a half sando because again I've had them before this was the smallest and most expensive one I've had.

Best burger Ive ever had, and I keep coming back every week. Chef and crew personally come out to ask you how your experience was and talk through all the top quality ingredients and time that it takes to prep everything same day. This burger / meal doesn't make me feel bad after eating it unlike the majority burgers. The beef tallow fries are so good, and if you have room for dessert definitely try the ice cream concha sandwich, it was a perfectly soft concha pan with the some of the smoothest icecream to fill it. Try it for yourself and get in before it becomes one of Phoenix's most popular burger spots.

This place is incredible! My husband and I never thought we'd find a burger spot that prioritizes better-for-you ingredients without breaking the bank. The bread is home-made, all ingredients are locally sourced, the beef is high quality and the fries are hand cut and cooked in in-house rendered tallow. That last item alone would make me come back again and again! Even with everything being sold a la carte, the quality of the ingredients and the care the cook puts into making every item to order actually makes the food worth the price (which I have spent more at fast food places and left feeling icky after) We left here feeling satisfied without the mucky feeling you can get in your stomach from any other run of the mill place. One constructive feedback I can offer is I would gladly pay a few dollars more if it would allow the patties to be a bit thicker. Delicious and will definitely be back regularly!

Hands down, one of the tastiest burgers my husband and I have EVER had. The fries were incredible. The quality of the burger and beef tallow used for fries was evident in the flavor AND the fact that for being a "heavy" meal we didn't feel bloated or like we had eaten your typical greasy burger. Flavor was 10/10 service was 10/10 and so friendly. It was very cool that we got to see and briefly chat with the chef in the food truck window (who by the way, as busy as he was took the time to say thanks, and even took our trays from us! House made ranch was bomb! Worth a drive for sure!

La Hamburguesa is one of my favorite spots to get a smash burger. What makes this place unique compared to most burger joints is that the menu is heavily chef-driven. Chef Zeal is inspired by Japanese culture + culinary arts and you can definitely tell by the way he presents the food to his customers. His team is all about hospitality and it's always nice to come visit them, even when they're completely slammed with to-go orders. Customers have the chance to dine inside or outside of sushi Sonora (the chef's father owns the building). The setting is casual and fits perfectly with the burger concept. I am a big fan of their weekly special menu where the chef drops something different each week on top of their regular menu. My favorite burger is the Viva Mexico! it's thick, juicy, and super delicious. For the price you're paying, just know that the chef uses the highest quality ingredients possible and everything is made fresh in-house. 100% worth every single penny. Phoenix, keep an eye on this rising star.

They had a food truck in downtown phoenix. Took over an hour to get a burger and fries. Over an hour for a burger is insane. They had a restaurant rented out where the food truck was making food for people in the restaurant AND people in the street looking for a quick bite. I think they bit off more than they could chew in this instance. While the food was excellent, it was spoiled by the long wait. I hope they can do better in the future

Food is 20 out of 10 good. Come try it out and you'll see for yourself, you can taste the quality in every ingredient used I recommend the double double but everything on the menu is great.

I'm not a burger fan, at all. BUT, when my husband suggested we give this place a try that quickly changed! Hands down, THE BEST BURGERS in town. Incredibly juicy and flavorful, the crispy pickles and the sauce hit every time! If it's your first time, try the double double with no changes. Try it for what it is, you will LOVE IT! It's my once a week cheat meal now!

You can really taste the freshness in the ingredients being used. The beef tallow fries have a flavor unlike any other in the city. The chef and team love to make weekly specials that highlight their skills and ability to be creative in the kitchen. One of the top burgers we have had. They had us at grass fed beef. Simple menu, simple ingredients. Fresh and absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try everything. We will be coming back and highly recommend. Call ahead, the attached restaurant has seating but the burgers and fries were still good when we got home 20 minutes later! Rare when that happens.
