Là-Haut Restaurant Annecy

The food was outstanding and the wine pairings were perfect. We loved everything from start to finish, but the desserts were definitely our favorite! We had such a special night celebrating Harriet’s birthday and truly appreciated that the team acknowledged it. Thank you for making the evening so memorable.

Fantastic restaurant by a dedicated chef. Recently received a Michelin distinction. Highly recommended. Pricing was very fair. Atmosphere was very nice once you get in. The location is a little off. Parking under the commercial building is weird. But it of worth the effort.

You will never find this place without the reviews or word of mouth! In the dark, it is esp. difficult, but, because we had read reviews, we found it and if you look at the photos, you'll see why you could easily miss this restaurant. We came here because of the reviews and photos, and it was a 15 mins walk to where we were staying. Before we start on the food, the WC IS inside the restaurant, it's well hidden behind the black door on the same side as the living-wall plants! Myself and many other patrons had fun finding it!! A suggestion to management, make the sign more obvious, maybe on the centre of the door. Anyway, they were very clean! Ha ha! 3 course evening meal the Le Haut menu for 41 Euros, including an amuse bouche and 3 types of unlimited bread and table water, was great! Excellent English spoken by all 3 servers. Each dish was explained in great detail. Portion sizes good. You don't leave hungry! Friendly, unhurried service in a cosily lit space. The plastic chairs could do with some cushions, because they looked chic but they weren't super comfortable. There are, however, some long cushioned seats along the wall, where the toilet door is! The flavours we find, are always best in the starters. For some reason, the mains never quite match the uniqueness of the starters in these types of fine dining restaurants. There is only a choice of 2 dishes, if you go for the Le Haut Menu, so I would suggest share each dish, that way you get to try 6 different dishes in total. 5 stars well deserved. We went to Le Petit Thiou the other day which also gets 4.9 on Google reviews, it was great too, so trust us! We also like the fact that there is no dodgy service charge.The website menu is up to date. Bien fait Là Haut!

Great value in the set menu entree plat dessert @ €41. Rabbit pâté en croute, merlu ou volaille, creative fruit based desserts, amuse bouche, local filtered water and a choice of 3 tasty breads all included. The view is refreshing and inspiring and the terrasse is pleasant ( when the weather is not hammering hot). Cozy atmosphere and easy going but attentive service. Do not skip a visit here if in Annecy. Parking available a plus.

It was our second visit and as good as the first. The set 3 course meal is excellent value for money. The food is beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. There are good views of the mountains from the windows and terrace.

Second time we’ve eaten here, the team and chef are very accommodating to gluten and dairy free diets. Excellent tasty food, especially the little details like pre and post meal appetisers. Highly recommend.

Very nice restaurant, well worth a visit. Excellent starters with the octopus being the standout dish. The plat principal was classically good, meat was a bit tough for 2 of the 4 guests. Dessert, good classic chocolate dessert and very nice strawberry with Rhubarb combo. Nothing that memorable or original but everything ordered was done well. Good recommendation.

We had a fabulous time. It could not be faulted. Superb food, a sommelier who was happy to explain the drinks we ordered and attentive but not overtly so staff. All in all a perfect evening sitting on the terrace celebrating a birthday.
