The produce box takes care of me for almost two weeks - local sourced, sustainably grown. Folks there listen to my concerns and my pantry is well stocked. I appreciate that most everything does not involve plastic - much of the produce is loose, not packed. Very important to me. Place is also full of local-made crafts and seasonal flowers. Grateful to have such a place - a farmer's market quality, open daily. Cheers!

I came in here awhile back and watched who I believed to be the owner berating an employee. She was condescending and aggressive. The poor employee seemed terrified, but we also got the sense that this was normal behavior. The owner/manager needs a reality check if she thinks that it’s appropriate to treat ANYONE that way, let alone an employee.

Came here for Olive Fougassi and the owner was there treating everyone with respect. Love to see it!

I’m a little obsessed with LA Homefarm, but in my defense, rumor has it they saved a magic frog from sure death and it granted them the ability to grow produce that makes literally any dish taste unbelievable. I’m not even that good of a cook and every time I use their produce, I feel like I would beat any Iron Chef ever. Plus the owners are an absolute delight and the employees are wonderful.

Yelp
Lovely store, everything fresh local, organic and from small farms. High quality products and not just grocery but handmade pottery.

Yelp
This speciality food store is very exacting about quality. It makes for a wonderful experience to have someone else curate such high quality products. They have responsibly sourced, organically grown flour, spices, and other dried goods. The fresh vegetables sold are appropriate to season, and all grown in organic soils, with specifically organic compost (it is not mixed with the "solid waste" as City of LA compost from Griffith Park, for example.) They also have great breads. I get the sourdoughs (from Bub and Grandma's) which are stocked here. Some gourmet, organic, prepared foods ready to eat, soup stock, milk etc. from local producers are available in their refrigerated display coolers. Several area bakers stock their unique, high quality pastries and cakes here. Weekend pop-ups bring a series of eclectic food items. If all neighborhoods had little gems of organic food stores like this one, we would all be a little better off. But treat yourself to good quality vegetables and food! Become part of the movement to get away from industrial production of vegetables in Frankenstein chemically laced soils. Nature will thank you! Your gut and blood will thank you too! The prices here are admittedly a bit high. I can't always shop here. I think there are people who buy their beautiful art and pottery collection, but they are very expensive.

Yelp
I love fancy grocery stores and have been to quite a share around LA/OC county. I hate the competitive street parking around Dunsmoor (you can find a spot but will have to walk a few blocks) but this place has quality and unique food stuffs. The point of these stores is to discover specialty goods (it's not really for your weekly grocery shop unless you got big bucks). This place carries a coffee from MA that I can't find anywhere else and other goods I've never come across. I'll be back whenever I'm in this area.

Yelp
Stunning place! Absolutely beautiful. It caught my eye from the street and had to come see what it's all about. Half of the store is a mix of vintage items & handmade pottery and the other half is pantry goods, produce, baked goods and refrigerated items. It's a treasure hunt! Lots of little things to come across that are unique, that you wouldn't find most place. I picked up a few sweet potatoes (my fussy baby wouldn't let me shop long) which looked 100% times better than the grocery store ones. So fresh & colorful. Looking forward to trying them & coming back!

Yelp
Great little store with a lot of goodies and nice variety of wine. I live nearby and it has been great to see these businesses take off in this area. I love the change and the vibe they bring to the neighborhood. I hope businesses like LA Homefarm are here to stay for a long time. I would also like to remind other patrons to be mindful when parking your car or walking your pets. While parking is public, the side streets are also shared with residents in the area, a lot of whom are elderly and there are kids that sometimes play on the street. Please pick up after your pets and don't double park or park in such a way to take up two spaces. The streets are already narrow.

Yelp
This was one of those 'driving by and saw it!' Type of discoveries. The inside feels clean and smells fresh of plants, herbs, and odds and ends for the kitchen/home decor. Staff is super friendly and the little unique finds add a touch of happiness. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I love this place. Today was my first visit. I came by to pick up a my farm box. First, they have lemon cucumbers (an heirloom variety)! Also in my farm box was a pint carton of Sweet 100 (I think) cherry tomatoes. I ate half on my way home. Second, They have a small, but well-curated selection of pantry items: Anson Mills grains, Zerzun and Primary Beans and Wild Terra spices. So nice to have a local source for the grains and beans. Service was so friendly. I love cooking and good ingredients; this shop will be on my weekly shopping rotation. A final note: the shop smells so wonderful-- fresh herbs!

Yelp
My wife and I absolutely love this place and it's such a great little addition to the neighborhood. We got eggs and butter here and made the best bread at home we've ever had. Just about everything is from local businesses. The people who run it are local and couldn't be nicer or more helpful. It's great for gifts or the few things you needed that the grocery store didn't have. Absolutely perfect place if you're trying to put together a cheeseboard.

Yelp
Great food, great staff, great flowers, great ambiance, great everything! The owners are lovely and cannot wait to spend all my money here!
