Moved across the street a few years ago and I’ve since been in here for tacos at least 100 times. Absolutely delicious, fast, affordable, and Omar and Laura are the nicest people in the entire world! Love y’all, keep it up! Btw, get the pastor traditional

Google
Food is excellent! Service is quick and friendly. Atmosphere is not really why your coming here, still seating though.

I had high hopes however the neighborhood, “restaurant” interior. and grilled (not fried) chimichanga left me disappointed. The deep fried asada chimichanga that I ordered was actually put on a flat top grill and folded over, getting a smoked flavor. It was then topped with shredded cheese and browning iceberg lettuce. Expectations NOT met and I’m sad. Please communicate with the customer if the deep frier isn’t working or the oil hasn’t been heated! Surprise substitutions, especially with preparation methods are not appreciated!

My friend and I wanted to grab some tacos, and we were definitely not disappointed. The prices were cheap, food was delicious and fresh, the restaurant was clean. The portions are also really good, and the color of the food is amazing.

Google
This is my favorite spot to pick up traditional tacos and burritos. The pastor pork is amazing. I have always been treated well and leave full! A little bit of happiness in each bite.

Google
Very disappointed no meat in the taco salad and it's covered up with all the lettuce cilantro tomatoes and sour cream cheese but no meat and beans are way too salty. Just ripping people off!!

Google
My husband and I just moved to Ohio, and it's been difficult finding good Mexican food. I grew up solely around homemade Mexican food, and I can genuinely say the tacos here are LEGIT!! I can't speak for any of the other items as we never tasted any of them, but the salsa is AMAZING. Slightly spicy but so yummy. HIGHLY recommend!!

I've been eating at La Jaliscience over 10 years. I have never been disappointed 😊. One of favorite Mexican Restaurants in Columbus/Reynoldsburg

Yelp
La Jaliscience is my favorite East side taco spot. Everything is made to order, right in front of you and is authentically delicious. My go to order is steak tacos and a steak quesadilla. The service is fast and the establishment is family owned. The owner Omar is kind and friendly. The sauce, the green sauce is phenomenal. If you enjoy street style tacos and are in the area I recommend you give La Jaliscience a try.

Yelp
Excellent Mexican food!! Huge burritos, fresh ingredients, the street tacos are delicious and the quesadilla is fantastic!! Sometimes it's hard to get there when they're open because of the hours I work, but if I CAN get there when they're open, they're probably in my top three favourite places to have Mexican food in Columbus.

Yelp
I just so happened to come across this Mexican restaurant while I was riding in the area. I was looking through the reviews before I went in and they had pretty good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I originally wanted to order the Maria but the lady at the counter told me they were out for the day. I was totally bum so I Add it to the chicken Torto.. The pricing pricing was a bit high for the portion and there was not enough chicken in my opinion. There is sitting available in the inside and it's pretty colorful. The staff seemed really nice and with a service was fast. The tour that came with all of the fixings but I ought to out of onion.. The chicken sort of lacked flavor but it was OK

Yelp
Is this place in a bad part of town? Kinda seems like it but it was probably fine. My Yelp elite friend Jamie asked me to highlight some Latinx places, I think this one was just Latin, but maybe they will earn the X some day. Family business (2 kids were stuck in there hanging out.) very friendly, seemed like great people. To me this place is a comparison to tacos Fogoncito (TF is better). We got a steak torta, chicken burrito, pastor taco and buche taco. The burrito and torta were huge! But.... It was 99% filler. Torta was a loaf of soft bread with some toppings. The burrito was mostly rice with toppings and some meat. Ipso facto the flavors did not pop. Never get anything buche. Like a lunch meat ham. The saving grace is the pastor!!! Bumped them up from a 2 to a 3 star. Better than taco Fogon, but everything else I had was a little worse. I would definitely give them another chance and get only pastor, and something that was light on the filler toppings.

Yelp
The husband and wife own this eatery, along with the Mexican grocery store attached. What a nice couple! I couldn't decide if I wanted their Burrito or Torta. They explained they're basically the same, the difference being the bread - tortilla verses a giant bun. Good to know! I went with a Chicken Burrito, and good lord, it's pretty much the size of my head. Packed full, too. No wasted space to leave my tastebuds hanging. Chicken was great! Apparently, this is their most popular burrito meat-filling. Also liked the refried beans. I prefer a more pulverized rendition, and these were on the money. Think I'll get an extra serving of meat, next time, to get some more protein ($1.99 extra). This Burrito lasted me two meals and an afternoon snack. According to the couple, lengua (cow tongue) is very flavorful, and more tender than plain steak. Next mission? Try their Quesadillas with the lengua!

Yelp
I'm all for trying small businesses and finding authentic street tacos. I found this spot while driving on 70W near Columbus, OH. From outside, you can easily spot the location as a Mexican grocery store. We ordered tacos (pastor and pollo) and the guy made it fresh right in front of us. They offer two types - traditional (only onion and cilantro) and American style (with sour cream, grilled onions). He served us fresh tacos with fresh salsa (both red and green) and I ended up ordering more because they were so fresh, so good and so flavorful. Must try, the traditional tacos are $2 each.

Yelp
DELICIOUS! This is a hidden little gem. The location is half grocery store and half restaurant. Therefore, the outside looks like a store and I would have never found it without using my GPS. I ordered an asada torta and my husband ordered the barbocoa burrito. They were giant and amazing. We sat at the bar so we could see the cook make everything. I think this is now my favorite authentic Mexican place on this side of town. We will be going back!

Jadyn D.

Yelp
The food here is amazing. It's the hours that confuses me. One day I placed an order for 12:30, went to pick up and no one was there. I was told by the guy that there isnt a specific time that they open. Also, the times on the door do not match online. Are they open on sundays or no?
google avatar

Marissa D.

Yelp
Ok, wow. First of all, the burritos are HUGE. As big as your head! Amazing. They are delicious. Stuffed to the brim with meat and rice, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, sour cream, cilantro, beans. The tortilla was warm and soft The $6.99 price is so decent for the amount of food you get. The people who were working (maybe owners) were so nice. There are drinks and snacks you can also purchase in the shop. I can't wait to go back and get some more food.

Yelp
Best tacos in columbus and there's no debate. I've tried almost every authentic taco spot, and this one is the best. Very tasty!
google avatar

Tamara A.

Yelp
I had my daughters graduation party catered from here and the service was AMAZING, the food was AMAZING we had tacos and rice and my guest loved them THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
google avatar

Malik M.

Yelp
Amazing food service every thing worth every dime holy guacamole tacos were sublime lol
google avatar

Evelyn V.

Yelp
Buche chimichanga perfecto and carnitas burrito plate was spot on. Plus there's selection of Mexican beers. Great little find on the east side. Restaurant in the market is a good strategy for finding the yums.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
Every single time I eat here, I'm satisfied. The tacos are amazing and are among the best I've ever had. Do not let the location scare you away from this hidden gem!! The store connected to it also has a nice selection of Mexican spices and such. Stop in and give this place a try, you won't regret it!
google avatar

Yelp
We got steak burritos from here twice now. Food is consistent and HUGE! First time I went here I was hesitant because it was in a Mexican grocery store but it is a great find! Their burritos are twice the size of Chipotle's and cheaper and the taste is great! It was easily a five pound burrito.
google avatar

Jorden F.

Yelp
Very cute place. We ordered 3 pork tacos and 2 burritos, one chicken and one pork. Everything was delicious! All for under $17. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Rob W.

Yelp
Like one of the reviews I read before going, this is a small gem of Reynoldsburg. The prices are fair for the quantity of food served. I got a chicken burrito and it was HUGE. I was not able to eat one half and saved it for the next day. We did not eat inside, but there are barstools and a couple booths. I will definitely be going back.
google avatar

Yelp
When I bought a chicken burrito from this place, I asked them to put the chicken on the side and they put the beans and chicken on the side spilling out of the Togo container and on the container they wrote that they don't put things on the side. How hard is it to get something on the side? Why make a mess just because I requested it? I've worked at restaurants for years and I've never been so let down. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!
google avatar

Cmillëa T.

Yelp
For this restaurant to say its authentic it definitely doesn't taste like it. More like Taco Bell. The meat was dry. Food wasn't all that hot. Granted it was big yes. But it wasn't good. I asked for Guacamole and all they had was avocado. Uggg but I still got it. I've had better Mexican food.
google avatar

Jerome B.

Yelp
Got to say this was the biggest burrito ever had in my life and if I was Spanish I will be saying muy caliente delicious one of the best burritos I ever had but on top of that they stuff it not trying to be funny I thought they had handed me a brick how heavy it was if you know what I mean forgot to say it's well worth the money and it's not expensive at all and on top of that I think they could beat out Chipotle or Curitto

Yelp
Frequented a different place for quite sometime, but recently our experiences weren't especially great. Tried this place and it is phenomenal... the people are very, very nice and we are so excited to have found such value so close. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
google avatar

Yelp
More of a carry out they have 2 booths and a counter but the burritos are huge and very tasty, service was very good and friendly really no groceries in the attached store the building is rundown, weekends they have tamales which we got for home and have yet to try

Yelp
Jaliscience is excellent. The flavors are incredible, the menu is simple and easy, the food tastes fresh. It's just good stuff all around.

Yelp
Ate in here on a Saturday afternoon. The was very friendly and helpful. The food is worth well more than what they sell it for. I had a barbacoa burrito for $5.99. It was the biggest burrito I've ever seen. It was the best burrito I have ever ate. The meat was rendered perfectly. I couldn't have asked for better cooked rice. The burrito served as 3 meals for me and was delicious every time. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
I moved to Reynoldsburg almost 2 years ago and am always on the look out for great authentic Mexican food! I am kicking my self for not realizing that there is a great Mexican place right down the street! This place is a little hidden but not that hard to find once you are in the little strip area. I had 4 lengua tacos with onion and cilantro. These were spot on and the green sauce was excellent! Loved that they grilled the meat with a jalapeño, really added flavor! I will be back many times over I can promise you that. I definitely encourage anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food to check it out. Oh and there is also a Mexican market at the same location! Excellent!

Aja N.

Yelp
I loveeeee this place! The amount of food I get for the price is a plus too but their chicken burrito is my favorite & I've never had any problems or complaints.

Yelp
Newly opened location. Tacos are awesome. So many different meat options I suggest getting different tacos on your first visit to see what you really like. At 2$ regular and some even cheaper when on special they can't be beat. Monday's they do a sirloin taco for 1$! This is definitely a spot I will continue to visit when in the area. Friendly staff and very clean establishment.

Yelp
Lunch today. East side Reynoldsburg in a not so hot strip center. Not much ambience (Spanish soap operas playing on the TV). Would have much preferred some Mexican music! You can tell the owners care (I believe we had them for service and cooking). Bucket of beers - your choice and cheap! We had pastor and pollo tacos, side of beans. My better half says the pollo tacos were ok - a little dry. She loved the beans. My pastor was better than average (no pineapple though!). Prompt service, food came out hot. If this were a chain 3 stars - since its family run I'll round up to 4.

Tyler R.

Yelp
Great Mexican street tacos made to order. I love the House salsa and roasted pepper. Huge portion sizes. Call ahead when you can!

Kervens B.

Yelp
If you want a lot of food then go but if you want good food don't go the food was dry and was not cooked all the way was like warm while me and my girlfriend ate it I've had way better Mexican food that's not even authentic like they say they are.
google avatar

Venus O.

Yelp
I have tried this place 3 times and everytime the food is so good! I was shocked, but the tacos are my favorite, a friend told me to try this place..... glad I listened to her.
google avatar

Heather V.

Yelp
Delicious al pastor tacos for sure! My husband and I really enjoyed them. I ordered a torta and the flavor was great but unfortunately the bread was so soggy it was off putting but their tacos were definitely great!!

Yelp
Excellent food. Very friendly people. Very inexpensive. We will definitely be back. The Tacos are some of the I have ever had. As a bonus it is also a Mexican grocery market. We did some shopping while waiting for you food.

Yelp
This is a great place to eat. I've had the burrito, torta and quesadilla. Good prices and great food. I highly recommend it!

Jeff D.

Yelp
Definitely a hole in the wall and not the fastest service, but the food was excellent and the portions were very generous.

Andrew S.

Yelp
The food was wonderful! What a delight to have in Reynoldsburg! We got talked in to trying the rice water drink Horchata that they had it was incredible. Our 4 yr old loved it. Any time he wants a taco he's going there he said. The burrito was tasty and what a portion. Don't forget the sauce green or red it's mouth watering.
