I visited this restaurant last night, curious to see if it lived up to the buzz. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite deliver. The interior leans into the now-familiar “dark and minimalistic” aesthetic—candles, moody lighting, and sparse decor—but instead of feeling atmospheric, it came across as dull and lacking in character.
The space felt noticeably cramped, with tightly packed tables that made it hard to enjoy a private conversation. When the restaurant was full, the absence of any real sound insulation made the noise level quite overwhelming.
My friend and I ordered the asparagus, Milanese, and gnocchi. None were bad, but none left a lasting impression on me—each dish was underwhelming and fairly bland. The wine list was another letdown, with prices ranging from €36 to €90, which is excessive for a venue of this style and setting.
Service was fine, but nothing special. A suggested tip was added to the bill—something that’s becoming more common in Lisbon, but still feels presumptive when the experience is average.
All in all, it felt more like a place following a trend than setting one. It may work for some, but for me, it missed the mark.
