Non-dairy flavors were interesting, and inside is cute and quaint, but other flavors were pretty average and prices were steep. The location is ideal for sure--on Hennepin just a few blocks off Calhoun. Definitely location-driven, but the place is cute too! Clean, white with fun iron chairs and even mini chair sets for kids.
Tried a sample of toasted hay, and that was interesting and unique! Honestly, most the other flavors tasted the same and didn't really pop or stand out as unique and different. Charlotte's web was pretty basic. Caramel candied pecan and marzipan chip were good. Good Girl -- non-dairy with lavender and honey was definitely the coolest one we got. They do offer magic shell (hardening chocolate syrup) for 50 cents more.
Small scoop is $3, normal scoop $5, and two scoops $7, so it's not cheap. Add ons, shakes, sundaes, and more are available. They also do pie a la mode and some baked goods.
We also decided to try the "egg cream", which in my mind was going to be something like egg coffee (in Vietnam, they make espresso then whip egg yolk and milk to top). This was basically carbonated water, syrup, and milk. It was very very strange and lacked much flavor at all. It tasted like soda milk? For $3.50, it was lackluster.
