La La Land Kind Cafe - Review - 12 South - Nashville - The Infatuation

"This Dallas-based cafe chose 12 South for its first Tennessee location, bringing its heavily yellow-leaning decor with it. Also along for the ride: a host of lattes and pastries like a strawberry cloud foam matcha, a french toast latte, and truffle burrata and avocado toasts. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

We happened upon this little spot while waiting an hour and a half to eat at The Buttermilk Ranch. It was about 11am on the first day of LalaLand’s soft launch . All drinks were 50 percent off . I had never heard of this place before , but it was apparently all the rave as I listened to customers chatter about how they couldn’t believe they opened one in Nashville . I only heard good things . The wait on day one wasn’t too bad because the line seemed to move pretty steadily . We went back on day 3 and that’s when it got real . But I’ll get to the good part first . Let me preface this by saying I don’t drink coffee because caffeine makes me extremely ill. I was there for a snack and a non caffeinated beverage . All of the coffee drinkers I heard while I visited were amazed . They loved what they ordered . The atmosphere is so trendy and cute . It’s like a casual , classy , carefree type of place . The servers were really personable and told us they loved us a few times - apparently that’s what they do in LalaLand . Thr first day I ordered two jaleapeano cheddar biscuits , chocolate chip cookie , and a hibiscus cooler . The jalepeano biscuits were AMAZING. I thought about them so much I had to go back . The chocolate chip cookie was suggested to me by someone waiting in line with us - she seemed to be impressed with the size of it . Not going to lie - it was a nice sized cookie . It was on the larger size. It wasn’t a C. Cookie size but it was larger than average . I wasn’t impressed with the flavor . It was a regular chocolate chip cookie . Nothing that stood out . The Hibiscus cooler … now I expected a cooler - meaning that it was more than hibiscus tea … this was hibiscus tea on the rocks … nothing added . I had to unload three packs of stevia in it … now my companion got a mango passion fruit cooler and was asked if she wanted a white tea base or a lemonade base … I wasn’t asked that . I don’t know if mine didn’t have that option or what . I did taste the mango passionfruit cooler since my companion was so impressed. She got a lemonade base and it was 10/10. My second experience- day 3 of the soft opening - I went specifically for the mango passion fruit cooler and avocado toast . I planned on picking up some jalepeano biscuits to take on the road as well. The line was brutal . The heat was not kind - but it wasn’t traumatizing … it didn’t move as fast this time . The parking was awful . Be prepared to walk because up close spaces are few and far in between. It’s a community that seems to not mind the exercise . You’ll see a lot of runners and walkers in the Gultch. Servers were spectacular as I remembered. Came outside to pep us up in the heat as we waited . Their air conditioning is phenomenal by the way . I get to the register and they are out of the mango passionfruit coolers . I was not happy . They had a couple of items marked “sold out” on their menu - but not that . The banana chai latte was marked sold out - it’s one of their popular items . I still ordered The Queen avo toast and two jalepeano biscuits . My friend had to switch to another drink choice as well and was talked into ordering a vanilla banana matcha something or other . She had to load it with stevia - and there was no banana in it … well of course not - they were out of the banana chai latte so how could they top her matcha with banana ??? It was a horrible suggestion . The Queen Avo toast is absolutely freaking amazing . Like nobody should ever eat avo toast plain in their entire lives . That’s how good it was . I hate that I didn’t allow them to top it with an egg … yes … I was being a big back for a few hours . They messed my friend’s order up and didn’t give her the Queen - but gave her the Classic and we were too far down the road before it was realized . She liked it , but definitely not as much as The Queen. Our second experience wasn’t as good because we both thought that they should inform those of us who were baking in the sun to patronize them that some items were sold out . I’d go back certainly.

I tried the strawberry cold foam matcha and it was amazing! The wait wasn’t bad at all—the line moved quickly and efficiently. Inside was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. Overall, such a great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Oh my latte love! ☕✨ This has to be one of the cutest coffee spots in all of Nashville! The vibes are absolutely dreamy—cozy, charming, and just the kind of place you’d want to curl up with a good book or your bestie. I tried their vanilla latte and I swear it was like a warm hug in a cup—the best I’ve ever had! 💖 I was a little worried about long lines, but to my surprise, it wasn’t crowded at all—just peaceful and perfect. The menu is full of tempting treats, and the pastries looked so delicious (definitely trying one next time!). Can’t wait to go back again and again!

This is a really cool coffee shop! The two drinks we got was so good! Would highly recommend.

Google
Awesome chain for great coffee and small plates. The service is very good for how busy they are since its a newer location. Flavor profiles are spot on. Parking could be difficult. Seasonal and specialty flavors are available.

Absolutely thrilled that La La Land has made its way to Nashville! I’ve been looking forward to visiting and, despite all the buzz, the wait was surprisingly quick, just about 10 minutes. I ordered the iced matcha with strawberry cloud, and it was perfection. The atmosphere is so inviting, bright and cheerful. It has that cozy-meets-modern vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I especially enjoyed the music playing while I waited. Overall, a delightful experience from start to finish. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of their menu!

Google
Very cute place, atmosphere, music, lighting seating, location. Brand new place so expect wait lines to be long but it is so worth the wait. Coffee blend choices along with fresh baked bread and dessert choices are on point. This is a must try for everyone.

Was sent here for my wife to get her a Banana Cloud Latte. The employees were super nice and friendly. They had a long line but it moved fast. Super clean and nice looking inside. My wife loved it. I tried it and liked it (not a huge coffee person). Probably needs more banana flavor but not a real issue.

Yelp
the atmosphere of la la land is amazing it gives very clean cute wealthy vibes and it's so beautiful it's location is also nice. the service was good the workers were very kind and on task the whole time. the only bad thing is when we got there at 11 AM we were in line for a little over 2 hours . the food was pretty good and tasted good. it was overall a good expierience but i recommend not coming too early in the morning when it's very busy. we also came on labor day weekend which maybe have been why it was busy.

Yelp
I was here on a saturday afternoon and the line almost out the door. My group decided to do 1 online order seeing that we'd have our order in about 15 mins, it took about 25 mins in reality for the drinks to come out. Baristas were moving quick and still very friendly :) However, the drinks were incredible!!! 100% worth the wait. I ordered the banana cream matcha and ugh it was fresh, rich and so yummy. The banana did not taste artificial at all and mixed with the matcha perfectly. The store has some seating inside and my group of 6 were able to find seats pretty quickly, but 12 South is lovely and I'd recommend strolling around drink in hand! Also the packaging is so cute, the sleeve, cups, even the heart shapes straws :)

Yelp
Marketing and flavor are on point. We were shopping and kept seeing people with these yellow cups. Decided we had to find out what they were and go get one. The line is out the door, but we ordered for pick up on their website. The cloud lattes with the marshmallow foam are what my dreams are made of, because I'm obsessed with s'mores. Wish I'd tried their matcha because I heard it's the best. Ambiance was super cute and fun. Definitely worth the wait to get your iconic yellow cup!

Yelp
Super dope spot! Don't get me wrong -- it's insanely gimmicky and not a specialty/third-wave coffee shop at all. The bags of coffee are cute but probably not meant for coffee nerds as they have "caffeine content ratings" on the back, which is not how that works. But if you're looking for yummy sweet drinks and a cute hangout, totally worth it! It'll be super busy no matter when you go so be patient with your baristas! Super cute in there! Staff is polite and insanely efficient !! Husband said his croissant was delicious too -- so if you have time, you should try them!

Yelp
Long line and expect a wait but I like the vibes here. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing, definitely IG pic worthy. The workers are friendly. I like the location of this place. I'm not from Nashville so it was nice to get a pick me up while exploring the area. I ordered the pumpkin pie cloud foam latte with matcha. It was good but not my favorite, I probably would have loved the pumpkin pie flavor as an espresso or cold brew, instead of a matcha (was really debating between the two) but excited to try next time. I also ordered a jalapeño cheddar biscuit - soo good! This would have been so good as a breakfast sandwich. All of their baked goods look delicious and fresh.

Yelp
La la Land located on 12th Ave is a super aesthetic cafe, which is always busy. I had gone in to pick up my coffee on a Monday morning, while I was visiting Nashville. It was a fairly long wait - but the lattes were totally worth it. I really enjoyed the banana cloud latte - the taste of the banana was prominent but did not taste artificial at all. I had also gotten their La La Land Lattes, which my family really enjoyed. Thumbs up!

Yelp
Overall: Wow! I will say - the hype is worth it! Coming from Cali, I was a little wary because I feel like the LA location was "just okay" in terms of taste. However, this location far exceeded my expectations! I actually ended up going twice, I got the banana cloud latte (matcha) and then the strawberry matcha. Delicious and such a great matcha! I also got the avocado toast with egg, which was really good as well but definitely on the pricey side (kinda used to this as someone from LA). Service: The staff is very nice, cheerful, and the drinks/food came out very quickly! Ambiance: It is extremely aesthetic on the inside, and picture-worthy for sure! I did try to study here, but the music is definitely kind of loud - even just for trying to talk to someone inside/outside.

Yelp
I had a terrible experience here and I'm only giving it 3 stars to be nice. I will never go back. I've made sure everyone that talks about it knows my opinion and the better options on that street and in town. Overpriced, overhyped, mid flavor, poor management. Very insincere and fake. Incredibly loud that the staff can't even hear you, had to ask for the same thing 3x.

Yelp
While the social media hype is frustrating this is actually a great cafe. I use to go to the one on Montana in SM when I lived in LA & shockingly I think the quality of drinks is better here. The matcha drinks are great. And I think any of the espresso drinks with the cloud are a must. Even if you order online, be prepared to wait. I do get pretty frustrated as the time they tell you for pickup is NEVER accurate, there have been times I've waited 20 mins past the stated pickup time. That's not ok. I'm hoping this is a "just opened" kink that they work out. As for one more negative, the music is crazy loud in here. I don't know what the deal is. It's sensory overload every time I have to set foot in there. We enjoy their drinks but go during off times and just hope for the best. I'm not going to wait 30 mins plus in a line for a latte so I won't be doing that. God bless the employees here though, they are trying their best in a high stress environment. But..I'm very happy they opened a location in Nash and look forward to things chilling out a bit.

Yelp
Typically, I wait for the buzz to die down before visiting popular cafes and restaurants, but for La La Land, I decided to skip the wait. Vibe- I love the location of the cafe. At 12th South, you have multiple dining and parking options. La La Land Kind Cafe is a visually stunning place with a yellow and white color scheme. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the cafe is pet-friendly. Crowd - I'm always excited to explore new cafes, but personally, waiting in line (sometimes up to 45 minutes) even for a good one, isn't for me. So I decided to arrive at 7 am, and trust me, it was an unusual sight- there were barely any people. Sips - I got a Lavender Bloom Matcha and a Strawberry Field coffee. I can drink matcha, but it isn't something I feel strongly about. At La La Land, they source " The highest grade of Matcha that is also used for traditional Japanese tea ceremonies", hence the name - Ceremonial Matcha. Moreover, I love lavender, so I had to give this a try. It did not disappoint me; the matcha wasn't bitter, it was refreshing, and the lavender added floral notes that only complemented it. Unlike most lavender Matcha lattes that I have had earlier, this one wasn't overly sweet at all! The Strawberry Field Coffee was an out-of-the-box choice for me, but I decided to trust La La Land, here. The coffee was good in terms of the flavor and proportion. The fruit was quite prominent in the drink, but contrary to my expectations, it tasted good together. I'd say it was dessert-like, although not excessively sweet or artificially flavored. They also had fresh-baked croissants and biscuits, but those were decent, nothing unique or memorable. Was it worth the wait? Well, I understand why this place is so popular; their menu and quality of ingredients set them apart. The beverages are genuinely good. While one could argue that they are priced a little higher, I feel it is justified because they use premium ingredients, which come with a cost. Again, I wouldn't wait in line, and if you don't wish to, then you can either visit the cafe before 7:30 - 8 am or perhaps order online (early) and schedule a pick-up time. Soooo, did it live up to the hype? I guess, yes!

Yelp
I was walking down 12th Avenue and saw this cute place, had no idea this was a coffee shop. It's very aesthetic inside and consistent with other reviews, there was a long line and I waited around 15mins. The baristas are very friendly! There are also a few indoor and outdoor spaces. The indoor spaces have outlets if you want to work. My drink was around $9 for a medium. It definitely felt overpriced but it was probably the best matcha I have ever had. The drink was delicious!! So glad I tried this place. I appreciate the cute cup designs, will definitely be back!

Yelp
Perhaps the most Instagram-worthy coffee shop that genuinely lives up to its hype. I've stumbled across a few videos highlighting La La Land Cafe, which just recently opened its newest location in Nashville. When I drove by on a Sunday morning to find the line out the door, I was a bit disheartened. However, I was on a mission and I refused to let a long line deter me. No exaggeration, I waited in line for 45 minutes to place my order and get my drink. Call me crazy, but I'd absolutely do it again. Yes, it was that good. What we ordered: -JLo Latte (birthday cake edition; limited edition) There were actually pieces of birthday cake on top! -Banana Cloud Latte Sometimes banana flavoring can taste artificial, but this was incredible! Both drinks were so good. We both ordered a large, which came to a total of $16 for both drinks. They're very sweet, but I have zero issue with that. I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in Nashville! It's in a super cute area with lots of shopping too!

Yelp
This was my first time going to La La. The aesthetic is very clean and I love all the white and yellow accents. The 3 glass chandeliers give a fancy feel to the more modern decor. There are two bathrooms that are nice and tidy... sadly the wait is long if you want to use them, but also La La is all the rage right now since it just recently opened, so they are super busy! I was boring and just got an iced caramel latte and a butter croissant. They both were very good! I haven't had a croissant this good in a while... so I for sure recommend trying them. I am looking forward to trying a hot drink the next time I go. The cashier was super sweet and helpful. Did not rush my friend and I on ordering at all. Plus, she gave us suggestions.

Yelp
La La Land Kind Café just opened its doors in Nashville for their soft launch, and you can already feel the buzz. This Dallas-based café isn't just about great drinks -- their mission is to spread kindness and create change by hiring and training foster youth. You can feel the good energy as soon as you step in. Yes, the line was long, but it moved surprisingly fast thanks to the super friendly and efficient staff. Everyone was so upbeat and welcoming, you can tell they're really living out the café's mission to "spread the love." Now the drinks: As for drinks: 7/10: Strawberry Fields matcha-- subtly sweet with a fresh strawberry note that paired beautifully with the earthy matcha. 9/10: The Banana Cloud Chai-- uniquely creamy, spiced, and just sweet enough without being overpowering. Treats: Cookie- warmed up it was delicious and had a homemade taste, lots of chocolate chips and a generous size. The vibe is playful, colorful, and full of positive energy. That said, this is more of a sweet treat stop for me -- the drinks lean on the indulgent side, so it's not necessarily an everyday coffee shop, but definitely a fun, feel-good spot for when you're craving something different.

Yelp
This place is very popular right now in nashville. There was a consistent line outside the door there on Saturday. It took 45 mins to place an order followed by another 15 mins of waiting for your order. , the drink options are nice, and the interior has a little seating. I got the strawberry cloud, latte, iced, and a chocolate chip cookie. Both items were nice, however, in no way are they worth such a long wait!
google avatar

Val S.

Yelp
Their ceremonial Matcha is latte was the best I've ever had. First time we waited for almost 2 hours! Order with the app and you'll get your drink faster without waiting in line .
google avatar

Juliana C.

Yelp
The vanilla latte here is solid. One of my top 3 favorite places to get coffee. However, it is way too busy and packed during certain hours of the day and the quality of the drinks drop because the baristas are making drinks nonstop. I would definitely go during the early morning hours to get a solid drink and to find seating without having to wait 45 mins to an hour during peak hours.
google avatar

Monchel A.

Yelp
The drinks are good not too much but just enough. I love how positive the environment is and how friendly the staff are even with a line wrapped around the building. I literally come here when I need coffee and some positive vibes!
google avatar

Toniya D.

Yelp
I get the hype. I definitely do. It's a cute unique standard Café. If that makes sense I don't know how often the menu changes with seasonal drinks and food options. I went pretty early around one or 2 PM so by now I think the hype of this place has died down. It's fairly cheap which I'm surprised by so I think it's very hit or miss and I would definitely go back to try some other items. I just finished eating a hefty lunch so I wasn't able to try any food. I got a small pumpkin Matcha with cold foam. I think it was the Charlie Cookie butter latte in a Matcha form and it did absolutely nothing for me. It's strictly tasted like green milk like colored green milk but the cold foam was absolutely amazing now I will probably try it again as a coffee and it would probably be a lot better. It cost I think six or seven dollars and then I tipped and then I sat there for a while and ordered one of their refresher drinks and that was surprisingly very, very good. I got one size up and ended up getting a medium, which if we're being honest the cup sizes don't really seem to be any different and without being said, just get the large because i'm not really seeing the huge ratio difference when you like line the cups up next to each other, which they have displayed for you so just get the large size point blank. I got the strawberry cooler in a size medium, and it just tasted like a more real strawberry lemonade I guess but it also had a syrup at the bottom and real strawberries in it I will say that this place seems to try and use real ingredients like real avocado and real strawberries and even real bananas from other reviews that I watched I will definitely go back. There was this new seasonal pumpkin cream cheese toast that caught my eye overall really cute aesthetically pleasing café in a predominantly rich area and little to no seating inside and majority of the seating outside again, I would go back to try other things. They also have breakfast, but I'm assuming that is a limited time and obviously whenever breakfast is over then they cut that off. I also don't know if all of the locations have lunch or not and it's very hit or miss you need to pick the right drink to have a really good experience and love the hype and get the hype but if you don't, then I get why people would be disappointed and I guess that just comes with the trial and error also the heart shaped straw is a really cute addition

Yelp
this place is so yummy!!! The banana cloud matcha was perfection and I love the aesthetic of this place. Definitely recommend! And 12 south is so fun to walk around after!

Racquel S.

Yelp
Finally made it. I came strictly for the banana cloud matcha latte (w/ oat milk). They didn't have any gluten-free food options, which I anticipated in advance. The drink definitely lived up to the hype. Only took about 15 minutes start to finish to order & get my drink. Key is going on an off-peak day, at an off-peak time. Very much gives L.A. The staff yelling out that they love you on the way out cracked me up. I'd go back. Very cute spot.

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop. Was visiting town and kept hearing about this coffee shop that opened recently and figured I'd stop. It's a store front so you have to park along the street or the parking garage, they do 30 min validation for the parking garage. This is a super busy cafe and they do their best to get everyone in and out as soon as possible. The staff greets everyone when you entering by saying hi despite being packed. The line isn't so bad but could've been faster if they had used both registers. All staff was super friendly and nice. I love their flavors and the choice of either espresso or matcha for every drink! They also have amazing sounding food options from chicken pesto sandwich's to homemade pop tarts. I really recommend this to someone who loves coffee and/or matcha just beware there might be a wait.
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
the matcha is so good. the line is crazy but u can mobile order online to avoid it matcha: 10/10 it's busy inside but no one is really sitting, you can sit but def not a work cafe or even sit at all its not relaxing parking: on 12th ave so paid parking and free is around

Haley W.

Yelp
Obviously, this place is so hyped up, but it's just genuinely so worth it. The avocado toast to die for the Nutella strawberry banana toast is to die for in every single drink is amazing. Everyone is so nice and efficient and even though the line looks long. It's gonna go by fast and you're gonna have the best experience with whatever you get
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
Went on a Wednesday thinking it wouldn't be busy, but I was wrong. I think this place will be busy and have a wait for some time since it recently opened. I didn't order any food but got an einspanner and a match latte squared. They were both very good and I would order again. The place is perfect for an Instagram photo op and there is seating outside if you seek more picturesque lighting. It's located across the street from love shack fancy (12th ave s) and parking is street or a newly created metropolis lot. Definitely going back to get some food options and try some more drinks!
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
While I had to wait thirty minutes, the ambiance was really great! It's really cute and the vibe was relaxed even with the wait. The green tea was fine, nothing special, but the coffee was delicious! They have a variety of different pastries as well, which did not disappoint! I do love the cups and the location is pretty good!

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop in Nashville area!! The line was very long & drinks took a while, but the coffee was fantastic! If you're able, would recommend ordering ahead to avoid the line

Yelp
Soft launch today! Very busy but makes sense for the half off deal. The cafe is very clean and spacious. The decor is very yellow, gives honeybee. The people were nice, Emily at the door was very fun to talk to and people are very attentive. Cute logo of an angel doing a heart with its hand. Drinks were very good! The banana cloud chai latte was very good, on the sweeter end. The strawberry cloud matcha was good, matcha was overpowering the strawberry tho. Overall good experience!

Yelp
La La Land has landed in Nashville! My spouse and I went today at 6:30 AM for their soft opening. We waited about 45 minutes in line to order. The cafe is clean with cute, bright yellow branding. The staff were SO friendly and knowledgeable considering it's their soft opening. We ordered a La La Latte, Banana foam latte, Matcha Squared and Matcha Latye with Strawberry foam. Our drinks were ready quickly. Each one tasted decadent and dreamy. The matcha flavor was strong. The banana flavor was subtle and not artificial tasting. They were worth the wait!

Yelp
All the hype brought us here. We didn't see a line out the door like usual (midweek) so we had hope it wouldn't be too long of a wait. Came and it took over an hour to get through the line and get our order. The staff make the experience amazing - so friendly and all shout "love you, bye" echoing one another when someone exits - it's very friendly and they work seamlessly as a team. The marketing is top notch - to the very tip of a straw being heart shaped - somehow this makes the drinking experience even better! The espresso / cloud top / lattes are solid, haven't tried the matcha yet. Also, didn't try the food so can't speak to that yet. We went with the upside down latte & the banana cloud latte. The upside down is their sweetest and it's absolutely insanely sweet, the banana cloud sadly was regrettable- the banana flavor overshadowed the espresso. I plan to try the strawberry cloud latte and matcha next - lots of these were ordered and they looked excellent. The ambiance is stunning - indoor and outdoor tables, the merch is the cutest. It's def a girly dream!

Yelp
we were def hesitant to try this place because of the crazy social media hype and that longgggg line, but we ordered ahead and picked up and it was WORTH ITTTTT the banana bread latte is probably the best coffee I have had in a long time, and the lavender matcha was solid!! if you don't wanna wait in line def order ahead and pick up in store! regardless, this place def deserves the hype!

Yelp
ALL of their drinks were "okay". That's all I can say. Please have your own big trash bins and hopefully recycle all the plastic cups.

Yelp
**DISCLAIMER: REVIEW IS BASED ON MATCHA ONLY** I discovered La La Land through Tik Tok and decided to give it a try. The place itself is very aesthetic with a white interior with yellow accents. We ordered the Banana Cloud Matcha and the Matcha Squared they are both perfect 10/10, which we decided makes it very well worth the wait. The Banana Cloud Matcha was delicious if you like something sweeter, has a very good balance between both the banana and matcha flavors. It's light, yet creamy and the cinnamon sprinkle on top ties it together very nicely. Meanwhile, the Matcha squared is a matcha lovers dream which really emphasizes the matcha flavor in a very complimenting way. It's not overbearingly sweet and is not bitter at all. The froth from the cream top is light and does not take away from the rest of the drink. Other notes I have include the bathroom, wait time and service. The bathroom was very tidy, with a vanity mirror and large sink. The wait was a little long ~25 minutes, but very well worth the hype. Last but not least the service, the baristas and staff know the line is going to be long especially with the hype and recent opening so they had someone outside with water cups. The cashier was kind enough to give us their recommendations, and although they said to try the espresso with the banana cream top we opted for matcha instead, so maybe we'll come back next time we're in Nashville. TLDR: 10/10 Experience, drinks made it well worth the wait.

Yelp
My daughter was so hyped to try this place so we preordered the drinks to save time before our family road trip... with the dog. 45 mins later, the drinks came out one at a time. I so badly wanted to like this place as it's really cute and very packed but they were absolutely terrible drinks and messed up all of our stomachs. One of them stunk so bad we didn't even drink it. Something was rotten in there. The dog even got diarrhea from the pup cup. I'm not sure if they had a power outage and the products were bad or what went wrong but we were disappointed & won't be back.

Yelp
I have been to this cafe twice now and I enjoyed it both times! I first got the la la latte (a classic for this chain) and I was surprised by the smooth texture and sweet flavor. I then got the banana cloud latte during my second visit. Wow, it was so good! Typically when I try a new place and the first thing I order is good, I will just order that again next time. I'm glad I tried something different this time! I'm intrigued by their pastries so maybe I'll try those next. The pricing is borderline expensive, but nice for a treat! The line is crazy on weekends... I went on a Tuesday morning and it was only a 10 minute wait but on Saturday I waited almost an hour.

Yelp
I join in on the anesthetic pleasing, yellow joyful place. Loved the ice banana matcha latte. But I wouldn't spend my time standing in a long line waiting for a matcha latte. Came for the vibes and the outside table seating view. Seeing everyone walking their doodle dogs was the highlight.

Yelp
Lalalooooooooong lines all darn day. Ok, this place is clearly trendy--I get it. Skip the line and order online for pickup. Just don't plan to pick up your order for at least two hours after you order. Yes, my strawberry matcha was delicious... but probably not worth the $10 price tag plus the brain power needed to order and strategizing the pickup time, then waiting at the counter for the girl to call my name, to finally clutch my great prize of a drink..well at least the counter girl told me she loved me (along with every other customer) in a very Paris-esque tone. Now just left wondering if this mass spreading of love is just the counter girl's thing or if this is a Lala thing???

Yelp
The drink I had was the lala chai which was great. I would like to see them prepare drinks for people in line first. There were 2 people in front of me and it wasn't busy with sit down customers when I got there and it took 10 minutes to get my drink. There were many pick up orders on the counter that they prepared ahead of mine. The place is new and I hope to see them work this issue out. The cups are awesome that the drinks come in and quite delicious.

Yelp
The banana cloud latte is to die for. I would have got 6 of them if all that espresso wouldn't stop my heart lol Their giant cookie was a hit with the toddler too. Very friendly staff, quick too. I was shook how they were getting through that line with all those people in it. Way to go, La La Land. Now your girl doesn't have to miss back home in Los Angeles so much.

Yelp
As I waited in line, the staff assisted with questions and gave suggestions. The coffee I got was "the upside down", an iced latte with vanilla and caramel. It was very delicious! The aesthetic of the place is also really cute!

Yelp
Even tho the line was long- staff was friendly, went by fast (ish) and the drinks are actually worth the hype- not sugar overload, flavor comes through! Cups are AWESOME- vibes and aesthetics are perfect! Pumpkin cold brew was my FAV! Got the banana cloud last time and it actually tastes like real banana unlike other banana coffee

Yelp
Long wait, underwhelming. Definitely not worth the hype. Everyone saying "We love you" feels culty and disingenuous. They have apparently done a great job with marketing because despite all this it is extremely popular.

Yelp
I've been to one of these in Austin but this one was even better! The drink suggestions were amazing and we loved the vibe in there. Will be going again!

Yelp
What a find. It was recommended by a local and exceeded my expectations. I had the truffle burrata avocado toast which was fantastic. I got there early and when I was done eating the line went outside the building amd down the street. It's a great spot in the trendy area of 12 South in Nashville. Check it out!

Yelp
This was my first visit to any LaLa Land and i thought the hype was well worth it! it's not your typical sit quietly and work on your laptop type of coffee shop... it's loud and it's got its own vibe with music playing and lots of bright yellow and crisp white tones! The line goes pretty fast and they have a great team of baristas to take care of you! I especially liked Maddie H who helped my friend and I get what we needed and had plenty of great suggestions for our first order! I chose the matcha w the strawberry cloud and it was delicious! That cloud should be called crack cloud haha it's so good! Also got the basic avo toast and it was perfect and easy to share w a friend! We did a mobile order and while it still took quite a bit of time I'd suggest ordering that way, grabbing a table and enjoying the atmosphere! The bakery items in the case looked really good and I'd like to try something like that next time! Definitely will be back! Stand in the line ... it's worth it!

Yelp
Food, service and vibe are all 10/10. This place definitely lives up to the hype. Yes it's pricy but it's absolutely delicious! It's sweet though so I went home and added a bit more coffee to the La La Late to even out the taste.

Yelp
This was worth the wait! We only waited 20 min and the drinks came out fast. I loved the banana cloud latte! It tasted exactly how it's titled.
