Such cute little neighborhood kids store! They have a unique selection of clothes for babies and bigger kids. The owner is also usually there and she is so sweet and helpful!

Thank you to Gwyneth Paltrow for leading me to this hip childrens shop! Located on a busy neighborhood strip full of serious retail eye candy, La La Ling is the perfect spot to pick up a special gift for your favorite little! There's rock-n-roll onesies, beautiful dresses, cute accessories, one-of-a-kind books and more! My daughter had fun coloring in their children's area while I browsed the racks. I found a unique toy to give to a friend I was visiting later that week. Prices were on par with specialty gift shops. I highly recommend!

This place is the cuuuutest and has all sorts of special something's for kids of all ages. I purchased a lovely indestructible book for my cousin's new baby. It's waterproof so the boy can drool alllllll over it, strong enough that he can't tear it, and made to where he can't eat it. Plus Céline the owner is just a gem of a human. She comforts a local homeless woman when she has episodes sometimes, and loves to converse especially with people who are in need of a pick me up! (She's one of those positive vibes people who sees the big picture, and an intelligent woman who inspires the young gals to grow up strong while speaking with kindness.)

If you are ever in need of a kid's gift, this is the place to go. I live so far away from my nieces and nephews, so I'm always on the look out for the coolest kids clothes to help me cement my place as best uncle. La La Ling has always got me covered. The store is fun and bright and the staff is always super helpful.

This is one of my favorite kids' boutiques in Los Angeles and Goop seems to agree as well (it's on one of their lists). They offer really unique and trendy clothes, shoes, books and toys. I've bought my on lots of different things here. The people who work here are super friendly and helpful. They also have some fun events at their store. Today I stopped in to check out their La Miniatura sample sale which was so incredible. On Small Business Saturday they offered 50% off all See Kai Run shoes. Regardless of their wonderful deals, this place has so much to offer. If you have kids or need to buy something for a kid and are in the Los Feliz area, I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Celine is not only owner of the most adorable children's boutique you will ever come across, she is also the fairy godmother of los Feliz, sprinkling love and joy to all who enter her store! Having a bad day? Skip the soul sucking lines at target and get the most personalized and attentive customer care money can buy. Air conditioning, prizes for the kids, and a smile are always free at lala ling! Oh, and your child will be runway ready for back to school.

I ordered directly from their website to have gifts shipped to Philly. I love the free gift wrap that was offered with my purchase. I received the initial email that payment had gone through. But not yet a tracking email. I emailed Celine to see if I would be getting info and she immediately called me back while getting my package together. Definitely will be getting more clothes from LALA Ling!!

This is the spot! If you need a baby gift or a big kid gift these ladies will take care of you. They have the coolest selection of t's and high quality brands and products not to mention great customer service. Forget amazon and those terrible big box retailers. Very cute clothes and accessories. And with very cute comes very expensive prices. Waaayyy beyond my price range. I did notice that the back room had some clearance clothes, if you hunted around you could find some original items at semi-decent prices. If you have the means, then this is the place to dress your kid. One-of-a-kind items, and their hair clips are to die for.

I've been going here for years, and this review is long overdue. If looking for a gift for a kid, this is my first stop! While they do sell many different types of items (books, toys, teething items, etc.), they have the coolest selection of kids clothes, from onesies on up. Years after buying the gifts, I'm still getting calls from the parents about all the compliments they get on them. Oh, it should be noted, they have the friendliest/helpful people working there too.

Service: excellent Cost: some items reasonable others a bit overpriced. Cute factor: two thumbs up Nice selection of clothes, books and toys for kiddos. Bought a few gifts and they gift wrapped. The service was excellent. Would buy from there again.

Love this kid's store and girls who work here - Kara and Celine. I sometimes stop by at their cute store with my son who likes to play with their Lemonade stand inside the store. It is full of prizes and he takes something small home too. Clothes are super cute and I like brands they carry. Our favorite Kickee Pants are here and also Splendid. We always feel welcomed here. Big selection and nice attitude from girls. Love La La Ling!

I came here yesterday for the first time to pick out a few outfits for my boss bc she needed to attend a baby shower. And let me just say, I LOVE these baby clothes. They're so unique and they're clothes that work for both genders which I love. I was mostly helped by Celine who was awesome and had an amazing attitude. My boss changed her mind on the clothes and sizes a few times after Celine had already pulled the items and she was so kind about it and honestly so helpful. I was checked out by Melissa who was very very patient with me bc my boss texted me to pick a few more items so Melissa had to keep re-wrapping the gift and she was so sweet about it! Would not have had such a positive and quick experience if it weren't for these ladies! Thank you! And I would definitely recommend shopping here for clothes for the little ones!

Cute little shop. I rushed in today looking for a baby shower gift and the staff member was very helpful putting together a little bag. It seems like it's mostly clothes, but there were some toys and accessories that were adorable and make great gifts!

So of course the holidays are coming up and regardless everybody seems to be having children all around me. This is the best place to go for that unique and hip baby and kids gifts. I mean you could go to target and risk the dreaded possibility of buying the same thing as somebody else. (oooo, kinda tacky) OR you could go to La La Ling and find something one of a kind and leave everybody losing sleep over where you got the coolest baby/kids gift ever OR you could even call them up tell them the age and budget and they will HAND DELIVER IT. (Pssssh, what?! I don't have to do anything and I'll look like the most creative and thoughtful friend/aunt ever? SOLD) Worth mentioning: Pretty much every time I've been in the store I've found something that I ask the staff if they have in a women's small, because I would totally wear it. (of course, they don't, fine, I'll just settle for a kid's large and liquid diet myself into this thing) In short: This store is absolutely the cutest store ever. They have lots of items that are exclusively sold there by local artists. It's super kid friendly (obviously) and the staff are all babysitter sweet and helpful. Shop here instead of literally ANYWHERE ELSE.

La La Ling. It either is a Chinese proverb about the year of the Pig that takes place this year or some Bangkok hooker slang for some strange exotic service. In this case, it's a "kiddie couture" shop located in Los Feliz. Why am I doing a review for a baby store you ask? Well let me tell you mister/missy! There comes a time that people get together and decide that it's the right time to stop using protection, and this time was the time for me --- I mean for people I know...sorta. Right off of Russell and Vermont, this little shop had all the snazzy gear for newborns, toddlers, and ankle-biters. Lines like Paper Denim + Cloth, Puma, and C& C where well in stock. They had all the right fits to make your newborn or child be the talk of the town!!! Although I would rather have my child (of my own one day) grow into his adult size wear like my mother made me do, I would definitely pick something up here to "wow" everyone at a baby shower. That's right, with this place expect others to ask you where you got your gift from. See you there, one day, far-far from now. Sam PS. There is plenty of street parking.

The stuff is cute, the staff are not...I mean on the personality tip. I've been there at least three times and each time I have bought something and they're never nice. There is crazy attitude. I'm thinking..this is a baby store you're supposed to be nicer than the french cafe two doors down. The last time I was there I had my nephew with me (who is cute and sweet and all of 20 months) and I think people should be nice, especially to customers who are under 2 feet tall, in a store that is about them. It's also a bit spendy. The sneakers are overpriced--I got the Pumas for my nephew for at least 10 dollars less, and when you're having to buy shoes every few months every little bit counts.

I LaLaLove this place!! I love my little girl more. This store has the coolest clothes for kids. I'm a bit jealous my daughter has cooler clothes than I do.This is the place if you want the best dressed kid on the playground. Make sure you bring some serious dough. $$

My experience at this store matches exactly with whats already written here. This store has some very cute and unique things--the kind of gifts I like to send out of state friends. Things that are sooooo L.A. The selection was very good. The sale area did have some good things, and made the place more affordable. The service was non-existent. The girl did not ask me if I needed help at all...even though I was obviously struggling to hunt for sizes and styles. Must be nice to get a paycheck for doing nothing. The owner should be reading these reviews! I would definitely have bought more if I had had some help. Otherwise, I would go back just for the good selection. I'd give myself more time to shop, since apparently I wont be getting any help. UPDATE: Went back again (cause I did like the stuff there) and the customer service was better!

La La Ling is such a cute store in my neighborhood and the ladies who run the place are so kind and very helpful. They carry super cute unique clothing for babies to toddlers. If you are in the Los Feliz area you must check it out.

The previous reviews are irrelevant because this little gem is under new ownership and has been revamped! The staff is wonderful, everyone is so helpful and it really seems like they genuinely love their job. It has the dopest (& cutest) children/baby clothes EVER!! Sometimes I wish they had adult sizes :P If you're looking for unique and attention grabbing items for your little ones...you NEED to pay a visit! LOVE La La Ling!

ADORABLE store, great place to order gift baskets/bags - I just give them my budget and they put something together that's always super cute. They even do local delivery, so that's awesome. Everyone I know is popping out babies these days, so this place has become my go-to for cool baby gifts. The service is always really great and everyone seems happy to be working there - Thanks La La Ling!

When you are on the cusp of 30, and you don't yet have a baby, this is the place to go. Because a) all your friends are gonna be having babies, and they're all gonna need baby shower presents, b) you are gonna have more disposable income than they have because they are going to have babies, c) you wanna be the person at the shower with the coolest gift because that's how you win friends, and d) the clerks here will answer questions, but won't pressure you into buying things by taking advantage of your clear lack of baby knowledge. La La Ling has adorable, super soft, high quality baby stuff at fashionably high prices, with very nice clerks. And they gift wrap. Ladies love those bright yellow gift bags.

Super cute stuff.... expensive though. Great place to pick up gifts for babies. Bought my niece a super cute wraparound sweater for her first party and a super cute dress for Christmas (that she wore on Chinese New Years). Her mom loved both and puts her in the sweater all the time. That cute little girl also got tons of compliments on her dress. :) I probably won't be purchasing clothes here when I have kids -- or at least not very often -- maybe just for special occasions and in the sale section, at that, but yes, great gift place (for that same reason). :)

Love their stuff!!! BUT like many HATE their staff!!!! I have a boy, and finding cute or cool stuff is always hard; there is always a lot of girl merchandise every store I go. Everytime I've gotten stuff from La La Ling, I have gotten compliments or people awwwing him on the streets. BUT, after purchasing stuff for the 4th or 5th time and realizing how unpleasant their staff is, I must admit its been a long long time since I've been there. SAD, because their stuff is great, but the sales associates are such a turn off!!

I love the loot, it's beyond great for all the baby gifts I've been having to get lately. The prices are pretty crazy, but their sale section in the back room is usually pretty reasonable. The sales staff felt kind of snooty, which was weird to me. I was scared to touch things because every time they did I got one of their snoot face looks! It's baby stuff, you NEED to touch and inspect it to make sure it's nice and soft and friendly. I hope they take a hint from their own merchandise and decide to be nice and soft and friendly themselves.

Disclaimer: This review is for the salon only. We had a coupon from Family Finds for a half off haircut and with his sister's second birthday coming up, we took my son to get his hair cut properly. Poor little guy has been subjected to where i had been getting my "haircuts" for the past 15 years. Right away I knew we were in good hands. Nona was super nice and the salon was bright and colorful and Ratatouile (sp?) was playing on the TV. My boy does great in the barber's chair until the clippers come out, but Nona explained that she doesn't need them on the young ones, except for around the ear - but her touch was so delicate, that he didn't even flinch. I think i've gotten him over his fear of haircuts - now that clippers are out of the equation for a while. and most importantly, his hair looks great and ready for the cameras at the birthday party!

This is the coolest babies/children's boutique I have ever been in. They have a collection of t-shirts and clothing unlike anywhere else I've ever been. I found the perfect Batman shirt for my son's daughter, who is five. Celine, one of the new owners*, was so helpful and friendly. This is a wonderful place to buy one-of-a-kind incredibly cute (and high quality) clothing. Perfect for gift shopping. *I see a review from 2007 that is negative. That was five years ago. La La LIng has warm, friendly, welcoming vibe. And I can't wait to give this shirt to my grand-daughter.

Had to run in and grab a last minute gift for a 1 year old birthday. The lady at the counter was incredibly helpful and very sweet. We found the perfect R2D2 onesie for our geek friends. Super cute, would have liked to see a bigger selection for the 1 year old sizing. They had an amazing selection for toddler and older. More and more of our friends are having kids, so I will be back for more and more gifts. Great unique pieces, our gift was a hit! Thanks La La Ling!

Absolutely my favorite place to shop for my kids and for gifts. I've been coming here and ordering online since I had my first who is now 11! They always have unique items you wont find at department stores and customer service is top notch :)

I'm a thrifty shopper but I love cute stuff and the two don't mix often. So, I come here when I am in the neighborhood or if I am hanging out with a fellow mommy friend for the day... Honestly, I head straight for the sales rack. My little ones grow too fast to be paying full price on clothes that are hella cute but really just not worth it. I have one boy and one girl, both under 6, and I always leave with something for each. By the way, my husband HATES this place. He is more thrifty than I am. PS. this is the best place for baby shower gifts! Really original items.

I don't know anything about shopping for babies, but they do have some very cool stuff there. This place is my secret weapon for all my friends w/ kids.

It was interesting to read other people's review since I was curious if it was just me who always felt like the staff there were so non-professional.. I mean, I have never been to any baby/kid stores in this town that was this unfriendly. Indeed, I have stopped going there since I find the other baby/kid store, Dragonfly dolou, on Hillhusrt, much much more friendly and helpful. If you come to Los Feliz for the kids' stuff shopping, try Dragonfly instead!

What an amazing shop -- just walking in the door you feel like a kid yourself. Beautiful clothes and selection, very unusual stuff but nothing ridiculous (like some kids' clothing stores in this town). They also offer classes here for kids -- language, arts, etc. It's really an extraordinary place. Their website says they were voted Best Kids' Clothing Store by L.A. Parent Magazine. Also I hear that Brangelina has been shopping here on several occasions....!

Go here for kids' gifts that you won't find at Target or Old Navy, like everyone else does. Nothing here is worth the full price, but you can get lots of good stuff on sale, like baby Puma shoes for under $25. I check the sales on the website first to see if it's worth the trip here, as I am not the kind of girl that browses kids' clothes for fun. And it's perfect for last-minute shoppers like myself, as they'll gift wrap your purchase free of charge. (They just wrap it in tissue, put it in their cool-looking shopping bag, and tie a tulle bow on it, but still works. It has a card too!) Agreed on the opinions regarding the chicks that work there - they're nice enough, but they strike me as the type who recently moved from the OC and heard Los Feliz was the place to be.

I love this store!! What awesome merchandise!! The girls who work there seem to get a bad wrap!! They were super sweet and helpful... I didn't realize they are also online...I love the funky array of clothing... much BETTER selection than Dragonfly Dalou!! For a perfect baby/ kids gift do it up at La La Ling!!!

I love this place! I've bought some great gifts here! But, seriously, they're a bit overpriced, so I tend to stick to the sale racks where there are some grrrrreat deals... and your friends will be none the wiser.

This place is so cute! Came here looking for a birthday gift, and walked out very pleased with some affordable finds! They carry Melissa and Doug toys for kiddos, and all sorts of cute books, bath toys, and art kits. Celine provided great customer service, I was impressed. Will definitely be back!

I truly heart this store. On top of the amazing customer service and friendly smiles when people enter the door, the merchandise they carry is so to die for cute. I especially love their recycled concert t-shirt that are now onesies. Anytime I have a baby to shop for this is where I'm going!

A big shout out to the lovely bosses of La La Ling! Always there to help and they are so friendly and approachable! Their clothes are one of a kind, and they carry a huge range of Melissa and Doug's toys for the little ones. Not to forget the cute skate-table that they have set aside with books and little toys that kept the kiddo entertained every single time we are there!

How lucky am I that this store is so close to my house. I feel bad I haven't written this review years before now, since Im in here at least once every three months. The older I get, the more baby birthday parties I have to go to. I'm starting to think kids don't get invited to parties cause they don't have money for gifts. And unlike adult parties you can't just show up empty handed and by the birthday boy/girl a drink... I'm pretty sure even the fanciest apple juice doesn't count as a gift to a 3 year old :/. That's where LALALING comes in :) They always have new, edgy, funny, educational, and even interactive things. My gift is always the one people keep talking about, I can admit I want to be everyone's favorite and LALALing never fails to make me fairy god mother of the party. Also I usually come in to the store because of some baby event but somehow I always leave with a couple gifts for myself.. Jewelry, a pin, even some cool accessories (lightning bolts for my chucks). I'm always feeling a little spoiled and special when I leave there. The service is always great, super chill. Like they aren't all fake smiles, following me around trying to sell me on anything... Just present, able to answer any questions I may have, and open to partaking in random small talk, which I appreciate. I think the prices are fair, considering how you won't find anything that looks like it was made on a mass scale, or has pastel colored, boring prints... You know, the baby shit our parents made us wear. Trying to think of something bad to say....... Mm no, nothing.

i really like the selection here, but my wallet does not. i agree, that the staff at times take themselves way too seriously at times, but it is los feliz after all! the store is really clean and has unique merchandise. ask nicely, and they'll giftwrap your purchases in a cute re-usable yellow bag. had the shopgirl gotten off her cellphone to help me, i would have given this a 5 star review, alas, her caller was more important than a customer.... *sigh*

La La Ling is a Local Gem! They have a great variety and great prices! The staff is super friendly and give great input. The large department stores just don't give you that intimate feel you get from this place. Highly recommended!

WOW I was really bummed to read the service reviews here. I had the pleasure to deal with Ling the owner and her staff on a project and their service was AWESOME. They young lady working even helped me drag a chair out to a van to find out it did not fit andI had to send a truck up for it. I would recommend La La Ling highly and I also bought some really cool stuff. Also Ling and her staff were very easy to deal with over email and fax.
