La Loggia Bistrò

"Slightly off the beaten track yet still in the town centre, this restaurant boasts a courtyard setting for summer dining plus an intimate interior room with just a few small square tables, subtle lighting and an attractive decor featuring old wine bottles. A far cry from the classic tourist fare often available elsewhere, the cuisine served here is imaginatively presented with a focus on the use of seasonal ingredients." - Michelin Inspector

I am really trying to set aside the absolute rudeness of one of their personnel -- who judged my attire as not high class enough to be able to afford this place when trying to access their toilet facilities with my son and **insisting** that I do not "sit" at their restaurant and instead we eat at the adjacent "cheaper" place, thus we cannot visit the facilities, despite telling her that this is the restaurant we have actually selected for our dinner -- and give an honest review of this place. Dear restaurant owners: you are an excellent restaurant at an amazing city brimming with tourists who might have visited you from rather far away, after a long day in the heat without actually having got the change to return to their hotel to put their nice "expensive" clothes in order to look their part and be more fitting at your restaurant. This does not mean we chose your place by chance, or we cannot afford to pay!!! Casual day clothes do not define one's education or status. Educate your personnel to be more polite and if indeed they think that erroneously someone tries to access your facilities from a nearby restaurant, to treat them with more respect, accept their answers and do not OFFEND them. ---------------- As far as the actual food is concerned, indeed the reviews were accurate and the dishes we ordered were surprisingly tasty, properly seasoned, well balanced and carefully prepared. As a foodie with a keen interest in Italian cuisine I was pleasantly surprised with their tortellini with shrimps and pineapple, a dish that brought out so many flavours. The fact that our son devoured his main course and most of my risotto, is another indicator that their dishes can satisfy even a very demanding taste palette! Last but not least, I have to complement their heavenly desserts! The restaurant has a cozy patio seating area that was quickly packed with customers, so I think that we were very lucky to find a free table without any wait - and no reservation - seeing that this is a Michelin guide restaurant. Their service, setting aside the above incident that nearly had us immediately leaving the place, was prompt and cordial.

We went during the week for a birthday evening celebration. The reservation process was very smooth. The restaurant is located in a small street of old Verona city, very easy to be located, for commuting and at the same time gives a sense of privacy during the dinner. Upon arriving in the restaurant, we were welcomed in a very warm manner. Gianluca and Sara have been looking after us all night with fantastic enthusiasm, professionalism and outstanding customer service. When it comes to food and wine ... Wow... Mind-blowing mix of flavours, beef tartare for starters, octopus risotto with smoked paprika, we had 2 bottles of white wine and to finish a delicious tiramisu. I highly recommend this place if you are around Verona. Thank you for looking after us.

This was my favourite restaurant on our trip to Italy! Amazing food, great service and romantic atmosphere. There are no words to describe the experience so you have to try it! Definitely recommend their risotto, maybe one of the best I ever had!

Here’s a refined version of your text with improved flow and clarity: From the moment you arrive, the warm and attentive service sets the tone for an unforgettable evening. The staff goes above and beyond to make your experience unique, always ready to assist with a genuine smile. They welcome you with a delightful selection of both sweet and savory treats, adding a special touch to the start of your visit. The food is exceptional—beautifully prepared, flavorful, and even adaptable to your preferences. While it’s not the cheapest option, the quality and overall experience make it well worth the price. If you're looking for a place that values excellence and attention to detail, this is it. This version sounds more polished and engaging while maintaining your original message. Let me know if you'd like any further tweaks!

This was an extraordinary culinary experience. This restaurant should have at least six stars. Everything about it was perfect, from the small, tasty cakes and cookies we received for free to the wine being spilled by stuff in front of us, to getting spoons for spaghetti and describing all the food when delivered to the table. The food itself was wonderfully delicious, it was one of the best food I had ever eaten. The flavors were well-balanced and sometimes very surprising. I recommend all food on the menu, but be sure you will leave space for deserts. The atmosphere was also very romantic in the old porch under the heat lamps, so we did not feel any freeze while sitting outside. Make sure you book your table in advance.

Great experience. Carefully prepared, flavorful, excellent service. Must have: tagliatella stracotto, rich and tasty. Battuta di manzo. Gnocchi are great for seafood lovers. Calamarata: probably not worth it given the alternative. The complimentary desert bites are very much appreciated, make sure to get some coffee to go with them. Excellent, attentive service.

Went here with my fiancé for a fancy dinner. We both took the fish tasting menu, which was awesome, in both presentation and taste. I suggest taking the wine pairing for a complete experience. The waiters were friendly and really skilled, and the outside tables made the experience unforgettable, creating a magical atmosphere. I suggest this place to everyone that wants to treat their loved one.
