Where To Eat Near Richmond Park - London - The Infatuation

"A proper sit-down Italian spot on Friars Stile Road, this is one of our favourite places to get pizza in the area. The menu is full of sourdough pies, with chewy crusts and rich marinara sauce centres. The dining room is small and rustic, with a charming little terrace outside. While things like the ravioli di buffala are great, the straightforward pizzas are our go-to move here. And the fact that it’s only a 10-minute walk from Richmond Park means that getting a couple of pizzas to go is an excellent shout when the weather’s nice." - rianne shlebak, puja bhattacharjee

A true gem in our community! This is my absolute favourite Italian eatery! Fresh seasonal and hand made food with love and passion! The pizza is exceptional everything is authentic, including the atmosphere and the warm and friendly team. Fresh artichokes (a total labour of love!) seasonal salad plentiful and so fresh, tiramisu light as a feather but still rich and decadent, not to mention the amaretto affogato - HEAVEN! I just come loving here I feel cared for and love eating this REAL food!

Nestled in the heart of London, La Luna di Luca is a true gem for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. Upon entering, the warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu at La Luna di Luca is a celebration of traditional Italian flavors, crafted with passion and expertise. From classic pasta dishes like homemade tagliatelle al ragù to mouthwatering pizzas, each dish is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to authenticity. Both Martina and Luca go above and beyond to ensure that every diner feels like a cherished guest, providing recommendations with genuine enthusiasm and ensuring that every need is met with a smile. Thank you very much!

Arrived in Richmond late on a Saturday afternoon and from the taxi noticed a nice looking wine bar and opposite, an Italian restaurant. The wine bar didn’t serve food, so we crossed the road to La Luna Di Luca. We were fortunate to get a table (without a booking) and enjoyed seeing so many family groups dining out together. The menu has many flavours from Sardinia and we really enjoyed the Tagliatelle al Ragu and the Mallureddus Campidanese (Sardinian pasta with sausage) - both expertly cooked al dente. The rocket and pomegranate salad complemented the pasta perfectly. The moreish rosé was exactly as the owner described it - fruity and dry. I would like to drink it again! The only downside was the unexpected “optional” 12.5% service charge - the highest we’ve come across on this trip. We’d definitely eat here again - the pizzas looked very good too.

Not sure about the other reviews but I thought this place is arguably one of the most authentic restaurants in the area. I loved the pizza and pasta we shared - sorry no photos of the Ndjua pizza or sage / butter ravioli as we were too busy eating it! Would highly recommend- avoid the tourist traps and go here. Did I mention the Tiramisu?

Perfect local Italian vibe. It’s small, cosy, intimate and has delicious dishes. A good wine list, great menu, and good atmosphere. Glad to have this nearby on Richmond Hill!

Pizza just arrived. I have attached pictures. What a disaster. Delivered upside down. Love the taste of cardboard with my pizza.
