Visited with friends recently and had a nice time here. You can also visit with family. The food was great as well as the coffee. The pastries were very delicious. We ordered a Café mocha, a fruit tarte, eclaire, a pesto pasta, and a chicken cordon blue pasta. Everything tasted amazing. The staff were also very friendly and kind. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Delicious breakfast. The coffee was also great. Great customer service. Inside and outside seating options. We offer Doordash them for breakfast. Definitely give them a try.

This café used to be one of our all-time favorites, but over time, the experience has really gone downhill. The service has become slower, the portions have shrunk, and the final straw was the kids’ meal pasta—it was barely a few bites, not even half a bowl. Seriously? That’s just unacceptable. Shame on the management and staff for letting things slip so far.

Decided to place a to go order and was told ten minutes. Waited and drove up to pick up the food. Girl looked around and then went to the back and told me she would ring me up at the register. After Boeing rung up was told it would be a little bit of time till I got my order. No they haven’t even began to make the order. If I would have wanted to come and wait in your restaurant I would have come up here and placed the order. It’s not like you’re busy there’s no one here. Not a soul. Absolutely lazy ass staff for a restaurant that must really not want peoples business. Checked out at 8:10 it’s 8:21 and I still haven’t received what I ordered. So now it’s been thirty min since I’ve ordered from home and still waiting on the food. I’m not sure I’ll be waiting any more time on this restaurant and I highly encourage the rest of y’all to do the same.

Busy little place, because it’s really good. Friendly service and great food. Will be back

Four of us decided to try once again one of our favorite old haunts so we decided in La Madeline and it was a nightmare from start to finish !!! The owner was training a young girl and she got mixed up with our order which was fine until the rude ignorant owner yelled at us 10 feet away across the counter and in front of other customers that “ theirs an up charge for soup and do you want a salad or chips … we said that’s fine we would like to share a Crouque Messuire and a cup potato and a bowl of cream of mushroom soup …she asked again if we wanted a salad, we said no! I said no salad…. They repeated there is an up charge for the soup, for the third time we said that’s ok. I want a cup and my husband wants a bowl ! She came over to our table very rudely and said “ you confused our girl that we were training and messed up the order 🤬🤬🤬 my husband interrupted her and said we did not mess up the order! She loudly corrected the poor young girl in front of us and then came to us and repeated the order and it was wrong, so we had to start over which we did and they still didn’t get it right and blamed us !! We went to our table, furious because of being humiliated like that in front of our friends ! This person had no decorum with people… and certainly doesn’t know that in the hospitality industry, the customer is always right”, and you just apologize !! Instead, we got two full entrées we wanted to share one lg. I got my cup of soup, my husband never got his soup until we quested it …we never got an apologie … instead she came back a 2nd time to the table with A CUP OF SOUP not a BOWL as requested !!! With our two guests sitting there, She proceeded to explain to me /us, that you had the order so mixed up that the poor girl that I was training didn’t understand what you wanted ! She also stood over her at the cashier while she rang us up and she said “ that’s not the right button”, very ignorant very mean. She was so rude to the poor girl. I never saw her after that. If I were her, I would’ve walked out ! I showed her the bill and she took the menu out and started showing me how I was mistaken in front of our friends !!! 🤬 I said we were charged for it, and never got his bowl of soup then she proceeded to say that it was an up charge of 2.19 for his bowl and 3.99 for my cup mind you , we both had identical entrées, but mine was cup of Potato soup and his was a bowl of Cream of mushroom ???? We just thought …we’ll never be back here ever again and we’re tired of fighting with them. I was furious and I wasn’t gonna let her get away with it because it was only $1.91, but it was the principal !! She was ignorant She’s lucky that I didn’t confront her right there and I would have, if I hadn’t had two friends sitting there, my husband said he would have too !! If this place lasts another weekend, it will be a miracle! She was rude and insulting and she was the manager ? We will never go back there and we’ll make sure none of our friends ever go back there !! The sandwich was not even toasted like a regular Crouque is. We were furious and insulted and la Madeleine is not what it used to be and prices are ridiculous. We could only eat the inside soft part of the bread because the crusts were so hard you couldn’t even cut it ! There wasn’t one nice thing about the whole experience! By the way, there was one couple in there at 5:30 when we ordered when we finished at 6:30 there was no one in there when we left at seven, it still empty. If she’s running it for someone, they better open their eyes ! She’s running it into the ground !!

We popped in for a quick lunch after surviving the TJMaxx store down the way... We placed our order and found a table by the window to watch the cars and people pass by. I had the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a side caesar salad. The eclair for desert was divine. I can see this being a really cozy spot in the winter with the inside fireplace!

I was in a bit of a hurry so I ended up eating my soup inside and taking my sandwich to go but everything was delicious. I’m specifically writing this review to point out an employee named Nado (I do hope I’m spelling that correctly) who was extremely kind and friendly. While the food is great, I would come back to this restaurant just to chat with him some more! Thanks for making my lunch break a little more fun with good conversation, Nado!☺️

Yelp
First time trying this place. The food was truly phenomenal. The croque monsieur was on point. I found my favorite place to eat!!!

Yelp
Today,, July 18,2025, I was in the Marietta ga, restaurant for lunch with a friend. I first asked if they had skim milk and was whatever was out there! I cannot have whole or half and half milk. Second I always like with my croissant your blackberry jam (yummy) I saw the lid was off so I thought there wasn't any and can I get some! I was humiliated ! The top was broken off and the spoon they had in there was laying in the jam ! The guy stuck his hand in the bin took out that dirty disgusting spoon and tried to hand it to me like I was going to eat from an unsanitary bin. If something is broken you remove it until you get it fixed with the pump! It has gone downhill since Agatha the GM left. The new GM Steve has NO clue as to run the restaurant. You hww a ve lost my business and the place was empty when I was there 7702354675 Emily

Yelp
After revisiting La Madeline for the first time in years I can say the food is just as delicious as before, unfortunately the service has taken a dip. I'll first say the food is great and doesn't disappoint. It's been a while since I've visited but I always love the Chicken Parisien. I can't mention the food without talking about the Tomato Basil soup. It is the best tomato basil soup as is a must order in my opinion. The food on its own is worth 5-stars. The service is another story however. I came in with my girlfriend at 8:15 and the restaurant closes at 9:00. After working in the food service industry I understand that near closing time the service may be slower and a little different than normal but I don't think that excuses our experience. Both the employees taking our order and bringing our order to the table were very short with us and seemingly annoyed. We couldn't help but notice never hearing you're welcome after repeated 'thank you's. Overall it created an uncomfortable environment. Again, I know it was late but it was still 45 minutes until closing time and there's never an excuse for bad service. Another thing we noticed was that typically there is bread available to have with your soup. While this is typically complimentary, it's still an expected part of the meal and there was none available as they had the bread box behind the counter and empty. This was disappointing as we both expected that with our soup. It may seem like a small issue but given the pricing we did expect it. Overall, I loved the food at La Madeline and would expect the service to be better on a different day. Unfortunately the service we experienced doesn't necessarily make either of us want to go back, and I hope others dining there can have a different experience.

Yelp
The baked goods are consistently good here. We always order from them and love to order butter croissants, chocolate croissants, and almond croissants. They are always delicious and fresh. We order them to have on hand when guests come to visit our home to have for breakfast and as a special treat. Love the consistency and ease of ordering. We used to love going to Panera and ordering from their bakery but they were never consistent with freshness so we are glad we have La Madeleine in the neighborhood.

Yelp
I mainly come here for their desserts and café. My favorite pastries are in the photo. Often times I have to go to different places to get all my favorites. La Madeline offers it one-stop-shop. Palmiers are flakely and crunchy! Linzier cookie has just the right ratio of jam to thickness of cookie. Blueberry crumble muffin is moist and crunchy top. I enjoy this very much. Their lemon Madeline's are soft and not top sweet just perfect. Chocolate torte is devilishly good. (Not in photo) it can be hard for me to find the right chocolate dessert. It's either to thick/ hard on the fudge or too sugary. La Madeline does it well. Fruit tarts, strawberry napoleon, I mean as you can tell...I ate every dessert there. Other recommendations: 1. Croque Madame. It has smoked ham & Swiss with Garlic cream sauce baked on a country bread. Then topped with an egg. Served with crisp greens. It's lover "Croque Monsieur" is the same make but no egg on top. I'm now having a flashback of how possessed I looked while eating it. Eyes rolled back..toes curled. It's not overly seasoned which I like. I can taste each ingredient for what it is. That's quality food..well that's what all the cooking competition shows tell me... 2. Chicken La Madeline: chicken marinated in balsamic and topped with creamy mushrooms. It's served with 2 sides of your choice: red skin mash potatoes, steamed broccoli, almond green beans, and rice. Skip on the Pesto pasta wasn't spectacular, a bit bland and one note. All in all I really love the simple ingredients, well made items, and decent prices.

Yelp
A great experience and treat- to have freshly made French pastries! I did go a bit overboard but everything looked great, smelled great and felt great from the time I stepped into the shop. I recommend the quiche and certainly a buttery flakey croissant. Take a seat near the fireplace and enjoy! I was expecting to take a seat and have my order taken, however since COVID most businesses have adjusted to the model of patrons ordering upfront, then taking a seat and the food brought out. This upfront order style did make me feel a bit rushed. I recommend reading the online menu prior to arrival. Update: just downloaded the app today to checkout my rewards and have a free bakery item coming on my birthday in Feb! If you dine here often, get the app

Savannah C.

Yelp
I have gotten takeout from here several times and always enjoyed it! The Bakery Box is a total win, I load up on chocolate croissants and ham & cheese danishes! Great value. The turkey bistro sandwich was surprisingly delicious... I will definitely be ordering again!

Yelp
My friend and i went in Sunday evening for a soup and salad. I've been a La Madeleine lover since i lived in Dallas over 20 years ago. I swear by the tomato basil soup and caesar salad. Tonight, however, was a different story. While adding some pastries to our order, we asked some questions of the server behind the counter. He made us feel like it was unreasonable to ask what the 7 or 8 unlabeled pastries were. No matter, that was resolved and we picked out 4. I went over to a table with the soups and a salad and my friend was paying. While paying, she asked about a la madeleine app, he got rude with her, and quickly snapped. He took her salad and our pastries away. We sat and ate the soups and salad, while he called the police and filed some nutty charges of trespassing. He never asked us to leave, he just got all upset. The people at the table next to us observed in shock. They told us they had an issue with him as well, for complaining that he would have to cut up more fruit for the fruit salad they ordered. They agreed he was odd and unreasonable. Police came. We explained. He complained. In the end, we are not welcomed back to that establishment. No worries as we wouldn't go back. What insanity! 2 middle aged women want dinner and pastries and the "senior general manager" calls the police because he can't be bothered explaining the pastries and website to a guest. Waste of everyone's time, esp 3 cobb country police.

Betty P.

Yelp
Salad was not fresh and had nothing but a few crumbles besides the chicken I paid to add which was deplorable! Taste of chicken not edible and looked bad. Will not go back!

Yelp
Horrible horrible servuce. The food was ok. Will never go to the perimeter location.

Yelp
Birthday Edition La Madeline is located off Roswell Rd. There are a few locations around the city. It's in a shopping plaza w Sprouts, 5 Below, Chicken Salad Chick, and several other businesses. You cannot miss it from the street. Plenty of free parking! Sign up for the club, you can download the app to order food, collect rewards, and get notifications about new menus and other upcoming events. For your birthday, you get one free item from bakery. For example, any of the mini tarts none of the full size family tarts or other items. My favorite items are the mini lemon and fruit tarts. I also absolutely love their strawberry Romanoff. It's strawberries with a brandy or Bourbon flavored whipped cream. It is delicious!! The food is good here. Love their breakfast items, Chicken Caesar salad, and tomato soup. You can buy their breads, soups, dressings, and a few other pantry items home to cook on your own. Love their fresh croissants with breakfast entrees they offer.

Kathleen L.

Yelp
I used to go to LaMadeleine quite often. However, the last few times have been disappointing. Today I purchased a large jar of soup and a Caesar salad with shrimp. The soup was great but the salad was mere lettuce with the shrimp and some sort of ranch style dressing. Not mixed, nothing else. (Discovered when I got home so too far to go back).

Yelp
I'm having lunch at 2:11 pm on a Friday. The restaurant isn't full at the moment. However, I've counted 12 tables full of dirty dishes. This is very common for this particular restaurant. Not sure why, but I've never been in this location when it was clean. It makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. The food is still good but it's just always dirty.

Deborah H.

Yelp
Good food, not cheap but tasty. Service was good and food, especially the salad and dessert were fabulous.

Yelp
Incredible food - had the cafe sample plate with a delicious quiche, good French onion soup and a fruit salad. Ambience is lovely and will definitely use them the next time I need catering!!!

Yelp
You would think that La Madeline with its pseudo-French American-style food should be able to produce some crepes that are worth ordering. Well, you couldn't be more wrong. Ordered two strawberry Nutella crepes for $19.69 for me and my daughter and received two servings of two separate tiny little crepes that were about 3 inches each and half-burned cooked at best. No value for the money whatsoever. Not sure if this is just a one-off event. Perhaps ordered the wrong food at the wrong time? In the past, their desserts were always good but just a little bit pricy. However, the rest of the food seems to be hit or miss. I wanted to give this location another try because they are close by but it seems like they cannot be consistent with either service or food quality.

Yelp
I had a tomato, spinach, mushroom, cheese omelet omelet with a croissant. There weren't many mushrooms. After you place your order, you're given a #, and they bring your food to the table. My food was brought without asking if I needed anything. I asked the food delivery person for a fork, he mumbled something, and walked away. I've never eaten here before and figured out you get utensils, napkins, etc before you sit down. The food was good, nothing to write home about. The breakfast selection on the menu is lacking. It doesn't seem like a complete restaurant, more of a bakery that has a few breakfast items. Lunch seemed to have more options. The fireplace was nice, but made the restaurant extremely warm.

Laney L.

Yelp
I usually love their coconut cake but it's shrunk by a lot! I used to love getting this cake by the slice or a whole one but today I asked for a slice with a "bowl" of soup (really is the size of a cup). For +$12 I got a small cup of soup & this tiny piece of cake ($5.60).
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
The quiche Lorraine is amazing, wouldn't recommend the Florentine though. Looking forward to trying the crepes next! Soups are also good.
google avatar

Mel N.

Yelp
Every since I've been coming here they have had such a disappointingly unorganized service offering! Sad to say that it's still disorganized! Even after the change in management! It took us 20 minutes to check out mostly because the cashier as I found out from the manager is not a cashier but someone that used to work in the service line and they just threw her in that position because they had no one else to ring up customers! Came after lunchtime crowd and it still took me 25 minutes to get my chicken friand If it wasn't for the fact that the food is pretty good I would not continue to come here!

J S.

Yelp
The restaurant was amazing yrs ago but unfortunately since about 2016-2017 it has gone downhill. The employees are not friendly, but more importantly the food is subpar. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I would recommend first watch or the bagelisious place up the street.

Jenette G.

Yelp
Food is superb . My mother and I had the chocolate cake and coconut cake . Wow the cake was delicious, moist , flavorful and fresh . The slice of cake was 6 bucks each but this definitely tasted high quality:

Yelp
This is the only La Madeline location I have ever been to. I'm surprised by the lower reviews because my experiences have been positive. I like ordering the Chicken La Madeline Sandwich and the Chicken Caesar sandwich with the tomato basil pesto pasta salad. Their pastries are soooo yummy. I especially love the lemon tart. My mother really enjoys the coconut cream cake. I will say that the pasta salad side can be a hit or miss. I have gotten it one time where the pasta seemed a little old, but I don't think that experience should prevent you from ordering! In terms of service, this place can get busy so setvice can be a little slow. That is to be expected when staffing is difficult during this time.
google avatar

Aline M.

Yelp
The tomato basil soup here is solid. The grilled cheese could be a little bit more flavorful, but it was also solid. It's a good option when you want to have some comfort food. Years ago, I went to another location and got a quiche that had a hair baked inside it. When I complained to the waiter he just said sorry and didn't offer to refund or replace. Unfortunately, that experience clouds all experience at a la madeleine.

Lynn W.

Yelp
The Cafe Sampler was great, with quiche, creamy corn soup, and salad for only $12.99. Service was fine.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Very disappointing. We drove 25 minutes to this location. The employee taking our order laughed when I ordered my breakfast, which was the country French breakfast consisting of 2 eggs, meat of choice, potato galette and croissant. I also ordered a vanilla latte. My friend ordered Crepe La Madeline(Gordon Ramsey nightmare). The croissant was nothing special, the eggs were cooked fine, the potato galette was flavored well but greasy and not fresh but reheated (I saw it sitting on the warmer). I didn't get any meat as I don't eat pork and they have no other options like turkey or chicken sausage. The crepe La Madeline was covered in brown sauce and looked very unappetizing. We couldn't find any chicken in it. It was pretty clean and the ambiance was decent. My coffee was fairly good but looked picture worthy. I will not return to any of these locations and will seek out my usual French bakery.

Peter L.

Yelp
It's very very sad that Douceur De France in Roswell was sold because that was the only cafe that was truly French. the new owners have totally destroyed the place. Food, baked goods and service is absolutely AWEFUL there now and the same goes for La Madeleine. How in the whole world can this place be called a " French " bakery. Really !? You get better food a Denny's. There is NOTHING in La Madeleine that is French. This is the worst and dirtiest place to eat anywhere. The personnel does not even know how to make a French baguette ! We did not see any baked goods in their window. Please DO NOT go there, you will be so disappointed.

A1 American Plumbing, I.

Yelp
The food is good, small portions for the price. Employees make more noise than the customers.

Yelp
This is a great place for soup and sandwich, but it's not fast at lunch time. I was there a few days ago, and it took over 10 minutes to simply place my order. Some customers don't take the time to look at the handheld menus before getting in line. Once they are in line, they don't know what they want to order, and they take up a lot of time asking the staff questions. I highly recommend their tomato basil soup. It's thick, rich and creamy. I also suggest trying the Croque Monsieur sandwich. It's a classic warm French sandwich with smoked ham, Swiss cheese and garlic cream sauce. I just learned that they serve all-day breakfast. I've never eaten breakfast here before, but I'll definitely come back to try their Croque Madame.

Yelp
This was my experience Went today to get some sweet stuff got strawberry Napoleon and wanted to get some coconut cream cake. The lady who works behind the register told me will take 10 to 15 min to cut the slices of the coconut cake . I was like can I cut it lol (they wore not busy at all what I saw) Anyway didn't got the coconut cream cake Got only Napoleon . The taste of the cake was not fresh to my taste. Over all my experience was not good enough on the cake.. My try other places next time

Yelp
Just had a pick up order and the guy in the shop was not a very nice person. Also spent 5.39 on coconut cake that was size of 2 bites. Not getting that again. Sandwich was good.

Yelp
I came here on a Monday around 11am, and it was pretty empty. Food: We ordered 2 croissant breakfast sandwiches, and a quiche Lorraine. We also ordered a cafe americano and a cafe mocha. Overall, the meals were just okay. The eggs in the breakfast sandwiches were slightly overcooked while the quiche Lorraine filling was runnier than usual. Customer service: While the cashier and food runner were very friendly, I got the sense that the restaurant was not well organized, as they became easily frazzled when two more parties came after us, and they forgot the quiche Lorraine when they ran our food. Having previously worked at a restaurant for several years, I understand when there's an expected pop, but I had to ask twice for one of my meals, which was served after the other two parties received theirs. Then I placed a to-go order, and that took another 15 minutes. It wasn't until the cashier called for the order in the kitchen that it came out. Overall, it was not the best experience, and I'm not sure if I'll be returning anytime soon.

Yelp
I was so excited to see a Le Madeline restaurant in the Atlanta area. I ate at the Le Madeline restaurant in Houston, Texas years ago. The Houston Le Madeleines was elegant, had professional service, and fresh memorable food. This Atlanta Le Madelines is none of those things. This location appears unclean, understaffed, and inedible. I purchased a croissant and a chocolate tart. Both of these items were old and I threw them out. It's sad, but things change.

Yelp
Of course I love this place. This one is closer to me than the Duluth location that I visited the first time. I brought my friend and we ordered the Chicken La Madeleine. This is a really, really good dish. The chicken is seasoned very well and was quite moist. A mushroom sauce is poured over it and the sauce makes the meal. The broccoli was a little under-cooked for my liking but I ate it. I loved the mashed potatoes and wish I would have tried the rice. Next time. Plus the bread and jam were so yummy. It's a really cute place to go for lunch or even a nice quiet dinner date. Try it out if you're in East Cobb!

Yelp
Chicken isn't edible - it's rubbery and has no flavor. What happened to the roasted chicken you used to make. Thanks for wasting my money and time. The staff is not very knowledgeable

Yelp
I've spent the last 6 months mostly cooking at home due to dietary restrictions -really hard for a foodie who loves to experience new food explorations; exceptions when traveling. I thought I would be stuck eating bland eggs with a side of bacon and a small treat to end meal. Thankfully I was wrong. I had a scrambled egg crepe with Parmesan cheese, red bell peppers, and bacon with a cookie I dipped in fresh strawberry preserves. It was fantastic; I just have to remember to tell them no sauce on crepe ( I miss sauces ). I have added this restaurant to my safe list .

Yelp
If you have or are considering ordering food from this establishment via #doordash there are a few things you should know. First of all they treat DD drivers with callous disregard that borders on disdain despite all we do for them and yet they still think that we are somehow also at their disposal as auxiliary employees. Yesterday I went to the East Cobb location around 6:30 to pickup an order with 3 items. Despite being the only person at the register and at least 4 employees were present behind the counter I was not even acknowledged by staff for several minutes when an employee finally stepped up to the register, but only to Z it out apparently. Thinking at 1st he was unable to use his hands and his mouth at the same time he did finally address me as he pulled the drawer out to let me know that someone one would be with me shortly. No reason was given to explain why he could not have asked me about my order and in turn relayed that to the other employees stacked up behind him. I've now been waiting 5 minutes and no one has even asked me for the name on my order and it went downhill from there. As I waited, I identified what appeared to be a partially assembled portion of my order which consisted of a quiche, empty coffee cup and a pastry(missing). Having been through this before I immediately realized that the pastry was not with the quiche probably because that pastry was not available. As register boy finished up and walked off machiato man finally picked up the coffee cup and began the 5min+ process of making the machiato and midway through I watched him look over into the pastry case several times with a big dumb look on his face but still no words were forthcoming. Maybe he thought the pastry was going to magically appear but still no one is bothering to inform me that they are unable to complete the order despite the fact that at least 2 employees(and me) are now aware of the problem. Only after Machiato man finishes and yet a 4th employee(emp#1 was whoever 1st assembled this order) starts bagging the item does it occur to anyone to let me know about this. In most establishments that is not an issue but these morons actually expect your DD driver to THEN (after being ignored for 15 minutes, to assume responsibility for not only contacting the customer to see if there is something else they would like but yet a 5th employee now insisted it was also my responsibility to ask the customer about their allergies before allowing them to select an alternative item, using MY time, MY phone and MY patience. Now if these morons had the foresight and wherewithal to communicate this to me AS I ARRIVED it would be annoying but I would be much more inclined to work with them as opposed to them leaving me standing around with my thumb in my aXX for nearly 15 minutes before anyone takes a minute to let me know about issues with the order. In this case I was getting only $1/mile for a 10 mile ride to an apartment complex and wasn't really wanting the delivery anyway but you can be damn sure I did walk right out of that store and unnassigned the order. If you want SERVICE at this establishment I strongly recommend you place your order directly with the bakery because they couldn't give a sh*t otherwise. I assume this is because they do not get tipped on DD orders but maybe they are just a bunch of ignorant frogs which is particularly embarrassing for me as a person who is 90% French.

Yelp
Came here with some girls for a early dinner. Place is a decent sized cafe. Has seatings outside as well. This place has been here for a very long time and is pretty well known for the desserts. Menu: pretty limited. They have breakfast/ brunch items and a few dinner items. Multiple categories but only a few per category. They also have a display case for their desserts. Food: Pasta la Madeleine with shrimp -which I'm guessing is for house pasta dish? You can get it with chicken or no meat as well. The sauce is a mushroom sauce which was a little bland for me. The shrimp was well seasoned separately and then added in. Also came with a mini sea salt baguette. The portion was decent but a little pricey. Dessert: Sacher Torte- rich chocolate torte with berry jam thinly throughout to make it moist and a little tart. Goes nicely with more bitter coffees because of its sweetness Fruit tart- classic and possibly my favorite pastry here. Can't go too wrong with a fruit tart. Crust isn't too hard and thin enough to get the taste of the custard filling. Lots of fruit on top as well to curve the sweetness of the custard filling Drink: Caramel macchiato- not a strong coffee flavor or caramel flavor. I should've gotten a double shot because I mainly tasted milk. The top should've been more bitter and tapered off into the foamed milk but I mainly got milk. They also ran out of caramel and only placed a few drops... the lady also told me "sorry we ran out on top" and just handed it to me...? Maybe that's why it didn't taste like caramel. Not bad for the area but I feel like there are a lot better French cafes in Georgia... this place is set in east cobb so the prices are a little higher. It's not bad but not amazingly good either? Nothing popped out to me. Not the food, dessert, or service.

Yelp
An unplanned visit here, but it was a cute place to visit. They offer a variety of options. I chose the country French breakfast. It was a pretty big portion and simple. The potato gallete was pretty much like hash browns but seasoned. It wasn't anything fancy, most of the service was at the counter area, so no waitress/waiter service.

Yelp
Went for the first time and It was ok. My omelette was tasteless and my friend ordered the toast with fruit and it was drowning in syrup the only thing we did like was the hash browns. Not coming back to this location.

Yelp
Avoid this place Sunday mid-day. Waited about 8 minutes to order. Took another 5 minutes to crawl through the line to pay. All of that would have been forgivable if the food was brought out promptly. But we waited another 20 minutes for the food to be brought out. If I was at a fine *real* French restaurant, waiting almost 35 minutes from walking in to dining would be understood. But not at a chain. Food was good, but not worth the time.

Yelp
I ordered a slice of Coconut Cake and a Quiche Lorraine. The Coconut Cake was soft and moist however it had a bit of a floury taste/after taste. It's not a cake that I'd say not to get but it's not a cake that I would probably get again. The Quiche Lorraine was alright for the first few bites but the more and more I had, the less and less I liked it. The crust was not flaky or crunchy and tasted like it was frozen. If you're looking for authentic French cuisine, La Madeleine is not the place to go.

Yelp
Such a great idea: a cute French caffe... unfortunately it stops at the idea. The place is dirty and the food was terrible. My wife's cappuccino was just warm milk, my kids Nutella crepe was a small mix of melted milk cream and some sort of something that resembled a crepe. My other kids chicken sandwich was like the cold ones we get at the self serve shelves at the airport or gas stations. The one food that was ok - was mine. Chicken maidalein with rice and brócoli. My family is never going back. Panera bread - which is a place that used to be better and it is also terrible now- would have been a better choice. Do yourself a favor and do not come here. Service? It was ok.

Yelp
Love this place for breakfast! the French toast is amazing, is fresh and tasty. When it comes to soups, tomato basil soup is the best one here and for desert is the definitely the strawberry ramanoff. For customer service, can't complain, they have treated me right every time I go there.

Yelp
SOOO GOOD! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND For breakfast, lunch or coffee date! We initially went thinking coffee shop and homework but were pleasantly surprised by the cozy sit down environment (there were both lunch meetings and students doing homework). All of our food was delicious and left us feeling both satisfied and light (not heavy and bloated). Our waiter was very attentive and relational. They did the little things well like saying "bonjure" when you walked in and bringing me a whole cute little pot of hot water for my tea, etc. They have a very fun case of amazing baked goods up front! I look forward to coming back and trying those.

Yelp
Went to buy a few desserts to go, but left after waiting over 10 mins. I wouldn't mind waiting if the place was crowded and didn't have literally 6 employees sitting around talking and looking at me wait. I asked one of the workers if there would be someone to help and he said they were really busy....there was only 3 people eating in the entire restaurant. Don't waste your time.

Yelp
I ordered through Grubhub for delivery. I loved my avocado toast & the cherry & cheese danish was the perfect ratio of filling to pastry. The French vanilla & fruit parfait was very sweet but perfect if you're looking for something small to enjoy.

Yelp
The food is good and typical of the chain. My concern is the staff. When we got home, my ife said multiple men entered the bathroom saying maintenance did something and then left. She was not given the opportunity to respond or the respect of waiting until she left the room before doing their task. The place needs a new manage. They do not enforce basic courtesy and good behavior.

Yelp
Used to be one of the places my wife and I would frequent occasionally for breakfast. During our last visit in Feb we found that the menu was changed and some of the crepes ( i think spinach and prawns ) among other dishes were discontinued. It appeared to be a more run of the mill menu. A bit disappointed.
