I visited for my first time and I ordered the avocado toast w scrambled eggs on the side. I also served myself some decaf coffee w half & half to drink. Excellent plate presentation. Very instagrammable. However, if I were to order it I would specify either no balsamic vinaigrette or to put it on the side. A few small things I didn’t love based on personal preference but otherwise, great food!

Google
Ate here with my bf. I had a chicken Caesar that was okay and he had a four cheese pasta with shrimp. This was supposed to be an entree. When he got his food we both laughed. It was a side portion at best or even a kids portion. It was in a shallow bowl placed inside a bigger bowl. There was a singular layer of pasta in cheese sauce. It was a laughable portion size. If it were in the bigger bowl and twice as much it would be okay, but it was definitely a side item portion size. We will not be doing that again.

I think that they should really do better. It smells like an old bar in a nightclub. I ordered a simple eggs on sourdough bread with bacon and I’m thinking that it would at least have some care put into making this dish and it came out looking like my nine-year-old daughter made it.

Beautiful ambiance, great staff and excellent food. The cappuccino, quiche Lorraine and Nutella croissant muffin are my favorite. Highly recommend it.

I visited La Madeleine at Perimeter this morning and, once again, had a disappointing experience. I ordered two Quiche Lorraine, and the woman at the register had a very bad attitude. She told me to tap my card to pay, but then said she wasn’t logged in—causing a charge that I now have to wait to be refunded. Another staff member also had a rude and unprofessional attitude, which made the experience even worse. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues at this location. On a previous visit, I was sitting at a table and a staff member practically threw the plate at me with no courtesy at all. The customer service at this Perimeter location has consistently been poor. This is very disappointing, especially because the Duluth location has amazing staff and excellent service every time I visit. I hope management takes action to improve the customer experience here.

Everything is burnt, Croffle and bacon bon bon. I’ve been here enough times to know better and this is pitiful at best.

Google
Well, well! I swore I wouldn’t come back here as the last time I came, the service was sketchy, and the tables dirty. But…they have a new crew, each one so friendly and efficient! Barbara, in particular, was especially helpful. The place looked clean too, and the food was very good! My friend and I both got the chicken Caesar sandwich, which we had heated up, and a side of Caesar salad. I bought a mini fruit tart to take home and it was delicious!!

Google
Update from my visit from years ago... Went 412/2025: The Caesar salad had brown lettuce. We had two small salads, Sandwich, and tomato soup, and dessert. The dessert wasn't fresh at all. It was old. The salad wasn't fresh at all. The tomato soup was delicious and hot. The caprese sandwich was alright , but we had to wait a while before it came out. Staff was wonderful and really sweet! I was disappointed because my food came out cold/lukewarm.. I ordered the salmon and kale soup plate.. I always forget to tell people to make sure my food is HOT but i thought since I had a little wait before they brought it out that my food would be hot... Not to mention it was a $15 plate... My Husband got his soup right away and it was Hot so i thought it would be fine... I just cant eat cold soup or salmon... We drove over an hour to get here and was recommended by a friend... I may give it another try one day because the food was good and the desserts looked delicious... I will just let them know i want my food super hot!!!

Yelp
Had to stop in and write a review for this particular location of the Madeline.... Perimeter center. We just had a baby shower there and the service was phenomenal. I reserved everything with the manager, Dakari. He was absolutely PERFECT! He wanted to ensure that we were all well taken care of and got everything that we needed. We used their banquet room which was the perfect amount of enclosed space so that all of our shower attendees had an awesome time! Thank you so very much again to all of the staff for your attentiveness to our group. I would definitely recommend this location to ANYONE who is looking for great food and a great experience! Also, definitely consider this if you need to have a meeting or celebration for a group of people.

Yelp
Small French inspired cafe. No frills but decent food for a decent price. Decor is dated and they need updating to feel clean and sanitary. The employees didn't always seem to be knowledgeable about basic stuff.
google avatar

Gerald E.

Yelp
The food is good. The service is slow and my order was not fulfilled correctly but they got it right in the end. I really enjoy the tomato soup here and will stop by for a jar of it.

Yelp
This beef stroganoff crepe was pure savory bliss! The creamy, flavorful filling paired perfectly with the delicate crepe, making each bite a delight. Generously portioned, it's easily shareable--but you might want it all to yourself. Rich, comforting, and absolutely worth trying!

Yelp
I love the food here so much! It's always so good!! But I dread dealing with the employees! They are always rude and act like I'm bothering them when I place an order to go!!
google avatar

Lynn B.

Yelp
Haven't stepped inside a La Madeline in years, but wanted some soup. The mushroom soup was always good in the past. Ordered a cup to go. Reheated and tasted as good as I remembered- creamy and packed with chopped mushrooms.
google avatar

Yelp
It's hard to believe a French bistro that doesn't have Dijon mustard. In fact no mustard at all which I love to use with a croque monsieur. Please stop with the free bread that they used to have and their prices have gone up. Tomato soup was okay but this place is expensive and it best mediocre. It's a long way downward since they opened up 20 years ago

Yelp
It's fine. It had been years since I had been to a La Madeleine and the food was as I remembered. Food is Good...Fine. I will say this location specifically was really really confusing. No one (and I mean there was a group of people) knew where to order or pay. Staff wasn't particularly helpful. No one jumped in to tell anyone what to do. I will also say that they didn't give me a receipt-I was there for a meeting and needed one and I had to ask which then was a 5 min endeavor that that involved 3 different employees. We were able to sit there for 4 hours working with few interruptions - a staff member did come out and jokingly at one point to hassle us (once) but it did end up being a joke. Said joke went on a little too long and it started to bother me a bit which marred my experience.

Yelp
I love this little cafe because of its cozy atmosphere and great food offerings. They have an average size staff who are punctual, but surprisingly, they don't upsell the peripheral items staged in the order area. The setting is very quiet and affords quiet conversation and enjoyment of the mail as well as your company. I come here occasionally and have never been disappointed. Would definitely recommend

Yelp
The service here is one of the worst from the entire chain of this restaurants The door front door slams, they need to fix the door asp The atmosphere here is dreadful. The food is ok.

Yelp
Needs improvement on customer service. Wasnt a very pleasant experience with one of the ladies.

Yelp
La Madeline on Dunwoody is not what it used to be .. Not very clean ,depressing and very cold staff. It felt like going to McDonald .. after so many years being a loyal customer, I Think I'm done with La Madeline..

Amireh A.

Yelp
Haven't been to this location in about a year but decided to grab a bite for lunch. So much of the experience was disappointing that it really overshadowed the few good things. Staff was excellent with the exception of the cashier, whose response to my telling them the Dr Pepper was out was just to repeat what I said and look at my glass. No offer to get it fixed or apologize that I had spent a small fortune on a drink and they didn't have the flavor I wanted. Asked the same cashier if we could get some more bread later if we needed it and was told no. (What-is there a policy change?) I guess it didn't matter because the bread was dry and we didn't want more. The heat must have been out because it was freezing cold in there. When we asked if they could start the fireplace the nice guy who was delivering food to tables said it was out of order and not scheduled to be fixed until sometime in January. What? It's November and you're not going to have a fire for the holidays? It was cold in there so while our food was served hot it was stone cold by the time we were 1/2 way through. If you order the sampler do not get the chicken salad. I think they backfill it w/bread crumbs on the cheap. Soup and quiche were good but cold by finish. This store's been open for maybe 20 yrs so maybe the place is just wearing out or maybe management is trying to cut costs. I've got a lot of great memories about how nice it use to be to go here.

Yelp
I love this place so much!! My favorite are the fruit tarts and the Linzer cookies. The Timothy soup is also yummy. We will sometimes use this as a pasta sauce as well.
google avatar

Aaron A.

Yelp
Slow service, food is decent and healthy if you get the right things Chicken portion size is on the smaller side. Chill and lowkey ambiance
google avatar

Jurel H.

Yelp
I never seen a restaurant like this before. From what I could tell, you pick your food from a line of options. You then take your tray, and you choose your own seat. I just ordered takeout desserts today. The blueberry muffins was really good, but the oatmeal raisin cookie was just ok. I have to try the cheesecake on my next visit though.
google avatar

Yelp
Love that this place has a good selection of food at very reasonable prices. The first time I went there, I had the croque monsieur, which as good and very filling. The second time I went there, I had the 3 salad selections, which were all very yummy and a nice variety. Again, large portions and filling, which isn't always the case with salads. It has a nice combo of American and French options on the menu. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that I reserve 5 stars for outstanding and excellent experiences, and since this place is a bit cafeteria styled - in that you get a tray and walk down the line to choose your foods and then pay at the end of the line, instead of ordering from your table and being served.

Rafael B.

Yelp
Food is OK (you can easily find better), my capuccino was so watery - I could do better myself at home, service was bad (slow, bad communication, employees poorly trained - don't understand the menu). To me it was money and time poorly spent. One of the cooks came out with an apron dirtier than a painters' boots. If the kitchen is as dirty as his apron that'd be bad. Go to Paris baguette or Corner Bakery, you'll be better off.

Keith A.

Yelp
I went here a couple of months ago. The place is a shadow of its former self. I used to go hear all the time and we had friends in town so decided on La Madeleine. The food looked like it was all right out of the freezer and barely warmed. Very disappointing and not the place I remember at all.
google avatar

Minnie M.

Yelp
The Chicken Parisienne was the best sandwich I've had in months, the baguette was fresh and perfectly toasted, and French onion soup was delicious. Good coffee with free refills, ample parking, friendly service and nice ambiance, would love to come back here over and over!

Yelp
When I wake up a little late on the weekend, don't feel like dressing up a whole lot or spending too much money and at the same time craving some warm cream of mushroom soup, this place comes to my mind. Now, what is great about the place? The soups are the best! The bakery items are too good to skip.. The croissants are fresh, flaky and super buttery; Country French Breakfast has all the goodness in it. La madeleine chicken over rice, topped with mushroom sauce with a side of steamed broccoli feels like a homecooked meal that is to die for! What could be better? The service, especially when we are walking through the line and getting ready to pay. Sometimes, the staff members are super nice and once in a while they sound very annoyed when I ask questions about my order. Parking: Plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant for free.

Yelp
Ive ordered from this place plenty of times. Its a nice french style restaurant in Dunwoody. I really enjoy their family dinners. Its really for a family of four but If I dont feel like cooking I'll order one and eat on it for a few days. I typically get the chicken with mushroom sauce. Its available on uber eats which is really convenient. I've tried some of their baked good but they're just ok. I've had the french bread and the nutella crossiant. The bread was hard and difficult to chew and the nutella croissant was too dense. However, I would come back for their dinners and breakfast. They are located near perimeter mall in a nearby strip mall so there is plenty of parking. I definitely recommend to come sit and work while enjoying a meal.

Sarah K.

Yelp
It's a nice place for groups of people to chat over a meal. The noise level was good enough to hear the other person's conversation across the table. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seatings. The food is decently priced. The tomato basil soup was tasty and paired nicely with the self-serve breads. The cold brew was pretty good, but don't expect any amazing bean quality. Still good enough to pair with their pastry selection from the case. Overall, a nice atmosphere for what it is.
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
I love this place for studying! There is plenty of outdoor seating and you don't feel rushed to leave. There is good self serve coffee and plenty of bakery items to choose from. I haven't had any food from here yet, but I can't wait to try it!
google avatar

Pamela A.

Yelp
Their food is mediocre. However, they always ring stuff up incorrectly on the app. They always use the credit card on the app even if you have a free reward. They never fix it so you're always going to pay for it. Their app sucks. That's why I quit buying here and eating here. I was to except to go because frankly it could be very loud there.
google avatar

Patrick M.

Yelp
They have downgraded the entire experience. Service is distant. Food has been reduced to mediocre.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Dropped by here with some coworkers for lunch. I got the Chicken Parisien sandwich (without cheese) with a side of a caesar salad. The chicken and bacon were actually super yummy and paired well with the mayo. Chicken wasn't dry at all which is a definite plus. The bread was a bit hard but fine. With the salad, there was more than enough food! It was lunch rush so it took about half an hour or so to get my food. The staff was very friendly, however! Overall - a really cute cafe with lots of food options. If you want to get in and out quickly for lunch, definitely go for something cold or prepared like the salads, soups, or pastries. I definitely wanna go back to try out their pastries - there's so much! Food was great and also pretty cheap for the amount they give you! Super friendly staff too. I can see why it's so popular!
google avatar

Carlos D.

Yelp
I have no idea why the ratings are so low, but this is the best French bakery in the perimeter area. Nothing comes close in consistency of quality and staff friendliness. The flow of ordering and paying is a little weird, but actual food is awesome. My wife and I have made this a regular stop for brunch on the weekends.
google avatar

Kyle H.

Yelp
This is not your normal chain restaurant. Everything looked so tasty and, is good for lunch. I thought the tomato bisque was fantastic! The bakery was so cute.

Joseph J.

Yelp
Excellent food. Excellent Service. We had a large to-go lunch order and everything was prepared correctly and punctually. Amanda assisted me with making sure every item was correct and labeled. My chicken sandwich was great and I my friend had the chicken pasta. AMAZING! Highly recommend!

A J.

Yelp
Absolutely NOT. I would never ever eat here. The presentation of the food was horrible .. They don't allow you to tip the people who order food more than the check because they think if the amount tip is more than the order than the person serving you is STEALING. That's so dumb. The food was burnt and disgusting. I got a butter croissant with eggs and bacon. The egg and bacon was burnt .. just horrible . I will never fit here again
google avatar

Nishant N.

Yelp
We went for a lunch at French Bakery. For lunch we ordered Potato Galette as appetizer, Tomato Soup, Avocado Toast, Chicken Pesto Pasta and Caramel Creme Brulee for sweet. The cafe was cozy and all the Covid-19 restrictions were followed. We loved the cafe and all the attendents were nice and sweet. When we ordered we got the soup and potato galette. We got rest of the food in next 5-7 minutes. Potato Galette: 3/5 Tomato Soup: 3/5 Avocado Toast: 4/5 Chicken Pesto Pasta: 4/5 Caramel Creme Brulee: It was the best of the lot and we loved it absolutely. 5/5

Yelp
I initially had a bad experience with customer service at the Marietta location. I was contacted by Pierre, and let me say this! " he is truly a gem". Thanks for the five star customer service!!! It meant a lot. Also, they have the best LEMON TARTS in the city!!!

Shea L.

Yelp
My family and I went in for pastries, and they all looked wonderful. Where they? No clue. Inspite of my wife and daughter signaling the three workers scurrying past the counter, never received any service. The only time they said anything to us, the only customers, was when my wife got fed up and left. The little girl behind the counter said have a nice day, come back and see us. Then continued to ignore my daughter and I. Apparently we're not customers they want.
google avatar

Rachel W.

Yelp
What a cute find! This is such a cute space in a very calm suburban setting. I was in the neighborhood and was hungry for a bite so I stopped by for breakfast treats. I ordered madeleines, a croissant, coffee, and this potato hashbrown-esque thing from the hot food line. The service was quick and as a pastry lover it was just what I needed. I would definitely go back to try an actual meal.
google avatar

Ciara K.

Yelp
Great portions for the price. Perfect spot to grab a quick healthy lunch. Side salad was so good I couldn't wait for the half sandwich.
google avatar

Richard H.

Yelp
I had an unfortunate experience at this location. Several issues were at play. 1. Lack of staffing - wait times to order were very long as the person taking orders was also working the bakery counter. Just be honest with the customers and say up front that you are understaffed and it may take some time to place and receive your order 2. The quality of the food, freshness and visual appeal is no longer the same. 3. The payment process was totally out of order However the staff member insisted it was my card and my Google pay app. I left and haven't returned. This used to be one of my favorite go places. Sadly I suppose it suffers from the same COVID aftermath as many others.
google avatar

Sunn G.

Yelp
Wonderful atmosphere as usual. Great customer service and the food is fresh & Tasty. Thank you for the fire and coffee.
google avatar

Eddy H.

Yelp
This is a great place for soup, sandwiches and French pastries. My daughters love their desserts, including the Lemon Tart, Sacher Torte Parfait, and Caramel Crème Brûlée. I highly recommend their tomato basil soup. It's thick, rich and creamy. I also suggest trying the Croque Monsieur sandwich. It's a classic warm French sandwich with smoked ham, Swiss cheese and garlic cream sauce. I just learned that they serve all-day breakfast. I've never eaten breakfast here before, but I'll definitely come back to try their Croque Madame.
google avatar

Yelp
While this Has been one of my FAVORITE RESTAURANTS/BISTROS FOR OVER 15 YEARS For not only consistent flavor but above average service... SOMETHING HAS CHANGED! Idk if it's this location or a bad kitchen staff ... however my go to is CHICKEN CEASAR SALAD .... IF YOU HAVE ever had one than the pictures of "this new" chicken is worse than it looks .. avocado toast wasn't much better .. . I sure hope this isn't leaving us ... smh will try again in a few weeks .... very sad

Sandi P.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Avocado toast wasn't the typical west coast version but still very good. Coffee you will need to get from the drink station but any latte or hot chocolate drinks are delivered to your table.
google avatar

C C.

Yelp
I'm going to give this place a cool two stars. I just didn't love it. The staff is extremely nice though. Very sweet people. The food is just disgusting to be honest. The bacon was practically burnt and crunchy as ever. The eggs were over cooked, with hard cheddar cheese on top. The avocado toast was ok. I honestly wouldn't visit again.
google avatar

Lyndsay T.

Yelp
Fun place with relaxing setting. Casual. Staff was fast and efficient. All our food was delicious, fresh, hot. Croissants are buttery, flaky, and delicious! Don't come in a hurry or with an entitled attitude.
google avatar

Mimiko N.

Yelp
My husband and I had breakfast here on Valentine's Day morning. Everything was good and delicious. Croissant sandwich with egg and sausage was very good, also cafe latte was good, customer service was wonderful. We definitely will go back.

taha y.

Yelp
The floor was sticky, no vegan option, the restaurant smell damp, like an old cafeteria. The coffee was stale. The service was courteous. The stars are for service not the food
google avatar

Kristin H.

Yelp
Omlette was great. Please stop serving galette before the food is ready and the baguette was stale

Jordan M.

Yelp
The service here is absolutely terrible. Not a single person was kind or helpful. They all look like they are absolutely miserable.

Arnold C.

Yelp
Service is very rude here. Forgot my potato's as well. How did these people get hired?
google avatar

Haley T.

Yelp
Saw this place as a I was driving by with a friend and decided to stop in on our way home. So glad we did! This is such a cute little spot to grab a bite to eat. The employees were friendly and atmosphere was wonderful. I ordered the Croque Monsieur, it as an amazing sandwich, I absolutely loved it! My friend ordered the Chicken Parisien, which was also delicious. I got a side of their country potato soup as well and I really enjoyed it. I ordered a hot chocolate and my friend got a latte I believe. We both liked our respective drinks. Finally, we shared a small dessert - the caramel crème brûlée. I was surprised how good it was for a such a decent priced restaurant! They also have free bread and jam as well over by the drinks station and silverware. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely drop by again.
