Google
I got the famous crab bagel. Truly expected them to be sold out by 1:30 on a Saturday. This crab bagel has such a following on B’more. I tried it just to checkout what all the hype was about. It’s absolutely amazing a delicious, creamy, crabby taste sensation. The service was weird and not super helpful . I had great difficulty getting a water. I wanted to buy a bottle but… no go. I was directed around the side to coffee area to get a cup and self service tap water in a carafe. It was free soo. Not complaining. This bagel is delicious. I got a 2 crab bagels. 2 Croissants and a muffin ( that I did not ask for) and stracciatella sandwich for 57$. Expensive yes. I’m not sure it is worth all that, not sure if I will be back. However I will definitely recommend that crab bagel!!!!

Google
Our first time here and we will definitely be back. We tried to come on a rainy Saturday morning and there was a long line outside. We returned the next day around 9:00 am and there was no wait. We ordered two of the three sandwiches they offer and they were both tasty. The almond croissant was delicious. Prices are very reasonable.

Google
They have a wide variety of baked goods and most of them are delicious, but the Crab Dip Bagel and the Coffee Bun are my absolute favorites. Their cookies are high-quality and delicious as well. There are plenty of seats, so it’s a nice place to stay for a while.

Google
Is the quality going down? or May this be a training issue with new staff? My two salmon focaccia sandwiches today were both all wet and soggy at the bottom. Not to mention excessive onion and very little salmon. Maybe they were made too early and sitting for a while because I have never experienced this issue before. In addition, my friend and I got the Trempette danish and the espresso caramel was dry or missing? IMO this is what makes the entire experience of this pastry! BTW: the ones on display did HAVE the liquid caramel. I added a picture. The rest of the items were fine so hopefully this is sone minor QA supervision needed at this location? At the price point of these items, I would have expected the same quality from the past. I may need to go back to the Canton Square location to avoid disappointment. I do love this bakery and hopefully this helps them!

Google
The best bakery in the country may be Cafe Dear Leon. Their original location is small and always with a well-deserved line. This location is their second and very large. (It's inside the building of a popular butchery/deli that shut its doors.) Walk inside Tuesday-Saturday early because their pastries sell out quickly. Every single option is a good one, but I love their chocolate croissants and kouign and hazelnut focaccia. They also have a full coffee menu of drinks with Ceremony Coffee. Inside is a large space with lots of tables and free wi-fi.

Google
Absolutely, incredible. The crab dip bagel might be one of the best crab dip things I’ve ever eaten. Obviously it is viral and obviously a must get. The sandwiches are spectacular as well. I can’t wait to get back and get other things. This spot is definitely going to be a regular in my rotation coming up. Well done!

Google
I got the crab tamago, pumpkin cheesecake, s’mores cookie, and a cappuccino. Their food and desserts are always delicious. They have a spacious seating area however it was a tight fit with the shared tables. I was expecting better spacing. Place was bustling and not really a quiet cafe to relax in. There was a line to get in.

Google
Stopped by on a weekday afternoon to pick up whatever was available, knowing their baked goods sell out quickly. Everything was SO good. I love that the sweet pastries are not too sweet but each has its own memorable flavor. Can’t wait to try other baked goods!

Yelp
Great pastries and lattes. Just as good as the original location. Lots of seating and a lively mix of student and professionals.

Yelp
Food was extremely flavorful and beautifully presented. Service was courteous and efficient.

Yelp
I had been hearing how great La Maison was, and after a visit I wish I had gone right away. The space itself is cute, clean, and warm - but I'll be honest the day I was there the seating could have doubled and still been full! The line out the door didn't scare us off, but we did have to wait a bit to get access to a table. Looking at all the items I couldn't believe how pretty everything was. So I settled on one croissant and a hot tea. Now the ham and cheese croissant, WOW! It was fantastic!! The staff were just a lovely as the baked goods - I can't wait to go back again soon!

Yelp
I had tried the other cafe location multiple times but since this new location had happened we decided to go visit and gave it a try. I was nervous because Cafe Dear Leon is always so crowded and there is always a line but when we got there around 8am, there was plenty of parking, and there was no line! The space was very big and well decorated and we were able to eat our breakfast in a peaceful cafe which we loved! We really wanted to get the crab dip bagel since that was so good last time I had it and we were so happy we were able to get some. We also ordered the Breakfast Sando, Chausson Aux Pommes, and the focaccia sandwich. For drinks we got the Yakima flat white and the pistachio latte. Guys when we say we LOVED our drinks, it is an understatement. My husband absolutely loved the Yakima imo flat white and drank it so quickly. It tasted just like Yakima imo (baked sweet potato) and so yummy. The pistachio latte was just nutty enough and so good too! The Baked goods were also so good. I highly recommend the crab dip bagel and the chausson aux pommes. It was so flaky and the butler sweetness was perfect with the flaky breadding. We will definitely be back especially since it is less crowded and more seating :)

Yelp
I got up bright and early to check out La Maison, the new second location by cafe dear leon -- a true community staple! The space is HUGE and so cozy -- such a beautiful addition to the neighborhood and already feeling like the perfect community hangout spot. I did some work here and I know this will be so great for the winter months to get cozy:) There's street parking, plenty of indoor seating, WiFi, and even a separate drink pickup area. The pastry counter is filled with the same beautifully crafted selection you'll find at their original Canton location. I got the baklava latte (hot, with oat milk) and the crab bagel and the chausson (apple turnover), and everything was absolute perfection. I waited for about an hour to get in and it was so worth it! The staff were so sweet and excited about their soft opening, and I'm so glad I got to stop by early to experience this stunning new space. They're open 7:30 AM-3 PM, and I'm looking forward to their full opening -- hopefully soon!

Yelp
It truly is amazing how many people love Cafe Dear Leon and it is no exception at this second location. Bigger is a theme here for La Maison, as it is a sitdown experience, which is something that the owners always wanted to have, but with Covid lasting so long and the size of the space never got to actualize in Canton. The coffee service here is amazing. They have a massive new coffee machine and I just learned they have different lattes at La Maison versus Café de Leon in Canton so just FYI. I love their seasonal items and have been a sucker for their chocolate croissants and just their regular Cortado's. I also really like their cookies anyway the vibes here are great and it's still gardeners a long line, especially on their fresh drops, but not nearly as impossible as the canton location is. Congratulations to the team on their second location.

Yelp
When I heard that Cafe Dear Leon was opening a location in Remington, I instantly got excited. One, it is closer to my house and I can literally walk there and I do not have to travel all the way to canton to get a crab bagel, winning. I finally got a chance to stop in for a few sweet treats last Saturday. I got there a lil after 12 and there was a line outside, which is to be expected. There will always be a line if you come on the earlier side or later side. However the line moves rather quickly. Since it was after 12pm. a lot of the morning pastries were sold out. So I was able to grab an almond croissant, a chocolate cookie and a Japanese iced coffee. Everything pretty much totaled $15 bucks, which wasn't to bad. Their food is absolutely delicious, and you can tell that everything is made and baked with care. The almond croissant was just heaven. I will make it my justice to return on the earlier side. They open as early as 7:30am, so I would definitely like to be there early to try the sandwiches. Inside is so warm and inviting. The staff is so sweet and willing to help you with any questions that you may have. And the dining area is large enough to sit and work, read or just catch up with friends. They have s many delicious pastries to choose from, it is hard to pick. I am really glad and blessed that Cafe Dear Leon has opened this second location. It is a wonderful addition to the Remington neighborhood and I will gladly spend my money here. So if you are in the Remington neighborhood, please stop in and make sure you go early SYOY

Yelp
I finally got to try the famous Crab Dip Bagel from Café Dear Leon after hearing about it for MONTHSSS . Soo good . I stopped by their new location La Maison, which has such a warm and inviting vibe. Everyone was smiling and happy to help . There's even a lovely space to sit, work, or catch up with friends. I also tried a few pastries that were just as delicious. I got the Creme brûlee Tart and the Morning Kouign. With so many tempting options on the menu, I'll definitely be back soon to explore more!

Yelp
This is the larger, faster Cafe Dear León! I have been a fan of CDL for years. So this larger space with seating really appealed to me. I came on a Sunday morning at 10:30am (which would guarantee an hour wait at the other location!) and the line moved quickly. I was in the store after 20 minutes. They still had nearly everything available! I got to try the popular crab dip bagel, smoked salmon on focaccia, baklava latte and financier. Everything was so delicious as I expected. Their food items always taste freshly made, with quality ingredients. The crab dip bagel was soft and creamy! I loved the slight touch of old bay, which was good but not overwhelming. Baklava latte was delicious and slightly spiced. It was a tad on the sweeter side for me but still enjoyable! Overall, love this place and I'll be going here instead of the other location, since there are seats here!

Yelp
What an awesome cafe in Remington. La Maison opened recently from the same owners as Cafe Dear Leon in Canton which is also amazing. I met my friend for breakfast and we ordered a few items to share. We got the Koginut & Pinto Torta, Crème Brûlée Tart, Tamago Kare Pan, and a Vanilla something that I can't remember that's not listed on their current menu along with their Baklava Latte. Everything we had was so delicious. The savory items were so tasty and the sweet items were not overly sweet. Definitely some unique items here and we just loved it all. The Baklava Latte had great flavor and crumbled pistachio in it which was fun. The staff we interacted with were all friendly. This is a great new spot to come hang with friends or just work from.

Yelp
A welcomed new 2nd edition of cafe dear Leon in Baltimore. This location is much bigger than the canton location. Has actual space to sit and enjoy your drinks and food and get a bit of work done. They do have outdoor space weather permitting. The service here is solid, warm and friendly and fast. The baked goods are as you'd expect from them. Not difference from the original spot; all fresh and delicious. Got a monkey bread and almond croissant which were delicious. Got a Japanese iced coffee and baklava latte which were good as well. Nice to have a new location to get delicious pastries and baked goods without having to go all the way to canton. Would recommend and will be back!

Yelp
I am incredibly excited that La Maison is in my neighborhood now! I had always wanted to try cafe dear Leon and the one time I tried they were randomly closed so when I heard they were opening up a larger cafe in Remington, I knew it was time to give it a shot! I was impressed. The first time I went, I ordered a maritozzi, chocolate croissant, lemon blueberry tart, and the crab dip bagel. The pastries were AWESOME!! Truly sooo so good. I've also since tried their coffee bun which was also fantastic. Personally, I think the crab dip bagel is a little overhyped and I didn't love it. There is corn in it, which I didn't expect, and between that and just the savory nature of the bagel, there was something about it that felt too sweet to me. Regardless, you should go and get their pastries and I look forward to trying their sandwiches! I've also ordered the baklava latte which was fab. The space itself is large and there was plenty of seating. I love how much natural light is in the space! All the staff were friendly and I found that the line went fairly quickly!

Yelp
Fireeeeee. Amazing cafe, location in Remington is so convenient for Hopkins students, loved the food, got two crab egg tamago sandwiches, pastry, chai, and matcha. The pastries were amazing and make this place a five star, chai and matcha were both extremely mid but do not detract from the pure awesomeness of the pastries. Will come again to get the crab bagels.

Yelp
I've been to Cafe De Leon in Canton before and that was good, but this is even better. It's possible that because I'm eating it there while it was super fresh. My friend and I ordered a few things and we loved it all. The service was amazing and the place is spacious but does get crowded quick. I'd definitely recommend everyone to come and try it.

Yelp
The space is breathtaking with so much natural light. It's amazing how they master both savory and sweet treats here. This is a treat that you and your special person(s) deserve. I recommend arriving before they open to avoid the line. The staff is friendly, fun, and helpful. I also recommend the coffee.

Yelp
I believe this place has only been opened for about a week, but already having great traffic! In fact, while I was dining it I overheard the owners doing an interview with the Baltimore Banner (table next to me). It's the same folks who own Cafe Dear Leon from Canton, but in a gorgeous place with plenty of seating! This is definitely going to be such a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, meetings or to get work done. As I mentioned, it has lots of seating available plus a lot of natural light coming in from the big windows. Food was as delicious as always! My fiancé and I had the crème brûlée tart, the crookie, the ham & cheese croissant, and the almond/brown butter cake (forgot the name). We also had the baklava latte, and that one was not my favorite. Mostly because they put real chopped pistachios, and I couldn't get used to that (texture thing for me). Anyway, long story short...Highly recommend!!

Yelp
i came here during the soft opening and the day they fully opened (today). the setup of the cafe has a great flow to it; you order at the front and pick up drinks around the corner. it really limits crowding. they were absolutely packed during their soft opening, but during the week i was able to order with no wait and most of their earlier pastries were available. for those new to the cafe dear leon model, they bake everything off fresh and thus have staggered pastry drops at set times throughout the day. check their instagram or the menus outside to see when you should stop by for the treats you want. i tried the monkey bread with passion fruit caramel, a chocolate chip cookie, the creme brulee tart, and a matcha with oat milk. every treat was exceptional and it's clear the flavor profile is very well thought out. my favorite was the creme brulee tart, but you really can't miss with anything here. their matcha is high quality and doesn't taste grassy. all of the staff are super nice and will gladly explain the model of the cafe to you if you ask. i am very excited to have this cafe as an addition to the Remington community. i love their OG location, but can never justify going all the way to Canton. i will surely become a regular.

Andrea J.

Yelp
Third times a charm. I visited noon on a Friday. This location is much larger than the Canton location. Limited seating during lunch time. I ordered the crab sando, chocolate chip cookie & oat pecan cookie. All were tasty. Wish the menu had prices. Good service.
