I am deeply dissatisfied with my experience at this venue. After remitting a $1,000 deposit, the management has become unresponsive, failing to return any of my calls or emails. This effectively means they have absconded with my money. Compounding the issue, we are not local to the New Orleans area; our entire family flew in for a special event. It was profoundly disappointing and inconvenient that, after traveling such distances, we were left without a venue. I strongly advise potential clients to steer clear of this establishment. Additionally, I recommend against using Zelle for any payments, as it offers no protection in situations like this. This ordeal has been exceedingly frustrating and costly.

I would be careful with the Event manager especially in regards to your booking dates. You make sure you are solidly booked in a date because she will lead you on a date but at the same time someone else. Instead being honest to say I have multiple people looking at that specific date not wait until you come to make your payment to say I don’t have that date when one had emailed the date and did a walk through discussing the specific date. As this happened to me last year. I don’t if the same person currently but just be warned about this in particular with this venue. Good Luck if you decide.

Why I’m I seeing new photos of people at La Maison Creole is it under new management? We missed out on our wedding due to legal issues with this place. My husband who serves this country lost over 5k dealing with this place. We got military orders and pushed the date back and thought we were going to have our dream wedding, but its been stressful and emotional . 5k is not just 5.00 dollars. When we tried to contact this place the phone was busy saying the phone is not in service. Fast Forward today, the phone is back to ringing with a voicemail. Also, their Facebook page is updated with new pictures. I don’t know what shady stuff they have going on, but I am very disappointed that people can take our money like this. I just want a refund. My husband is busy protecting this country, while this La Maison Creole is busy taking our money for renovations. Well done well done.

On June 17th my friends were becoming one, a day that was so special to had them, us and everyone else not pleased. We were promised a lot of things that wasn’t up to part the day of the wedding. For example: The air was broken the day of rehearsal that was promised to be fixed the day of the wedding. Wedding day came, it was still was broken. We were dripping sweat before the ceremony even started. I had to undress my son who was apart of the wedding because he was getting over heated. We were promised a closed area for us and the bride while we wait for the ceremony to start. That promise was broke we had to hide the bride in a office so no guest could see her as they enter in the building. We were promised a place for the bridal party to sit it was a total of ten the the mothers and children apart of the wedding they only gave us two chairs. We had to stand up for 2 1/2 hours while we wait for the ceremony to start. The bride was promised a close part so when she coming down the stairs no guest nor your fiancé at the time would see her before she enter to walk to her husband. We had to ask to many times to put something up so no one would see her coming. They put a sheet up to close that area last minute. We was promised to someone cater to us and well as the bride and groom. The bridal party didn’t even eat because the guest had to make there own food and the food ran out. I had to stop everyone from touching the food so I can get the bride and groom something to eat because the food was almost gone. The day itself was amazing but the place I was not pleased at all. My friends spend a lot of money at that place for they guest to not be comfortable. Extremely unprofessional staff. Overall I will not recommend no one to that place. Absolutely horrible

I have my daughters' Bridal shower there. It was a great location, great parking lot. The staff was exceptional in the service, polite, helpful with the set up, the food they provided was delicious and my invited guests and my daughter loved it. It the end they package the food and offered to bring it to my car. The staff also helped to bring the items my wife and I brought to our cars after it was over. I will book them again and will refer others to them. This is a five 🌟 stars place!!!

Never answers the phone when you have questions or concerns. I went to a wedding here and almost booked my wedding here last year until all the negative reviews and the owner never getting back with me. The wedding was was absolutely horrible. So sorry for the bride who had to deal with numerous things on her special day that just ruined a good time. I’ve been here numerous times and it just went downhill. La Madison Creole use to be really good! Not sure what happened

Just had my wedding here on 2-12-22 and after paying thousands of dollars this is how the bathroom looked for my guest. The own Kyle is very rude and unprofessional cussed me out after I expressed my concerns and told me I wasn’t getting any money back. The hall floor was very dirty and one of my bridesmaids had hair in her food. I didn’t get most of the things we were promised and we only had one hour to decorate when it was supposed to be two. Most of my decorations couldn’t get done because of the time issue.I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last hall on earth. Do not waste your time or money booking here.

I wish I could give this place 0 starts instead of 1 because it does not even deserve one. The lack of professionalism and the fact that they steal your money is down right criminal. My sister's bridal shower was planned at this venue. We paid the initial deposit and after hearing some chatter about the people not answering and other things we voiced our concerns. After voicing our concerns, we were reassured that it was a staffing issue that had been resolved. It then came down to pay the final deposit 2 weeks before the shower and no one would answer our phone calls, emails, or text so needless to say we were left finding a new venue 2 weeks before the shower with invites that had already been sent out causing us to have to message every guest to let them know the shower location had changed. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS unless you want your money to get stolen.

"Destination Nightmare Wedding" @ not so La Maison Creole Wait, really...the venue was a literal nightmare. The only good thing about my wedding day was the delicious food and open bar. That's it! Venue hardly ever answers office phone and no show for appointments. Now to the actual wedding noticed walls, doors and chairs were partially painted and were severely stained. When this was brought up to the venue coordinator she stated "You get what you pay for" I paid $10k for dirty walls? Wow!!! We did not receive champagne for our toast. Yes, the Champagne that we paid for and it was also stated in our contract. I couldn't even toast my husband on my wedding day. #Newlywed #WeddingDay #DestinationGoneWrong

La Maison Creole was the venue for a bridal shower I helped to host yesterday, July 19, 2020. The staff was responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable on the latest coronavirus mandates by the state and parish. The room we used had been recently updated and was lovely. I would definitely recommend La Maison Creole for your event.

Went to a wedding here last weekend at this place is beautiful. The people working were nice and polite The fried oysters were super. The only problem was they were serving gumbo on plates and not bowls.

For our 50th Wedding Anniversary, my husband & I, scheduled our luncheon event for 50 people several months in advance. We had a wonderful experience with the new owners and would highly recommend La Maison Creole. The staff was very friendly, efficient & accommodating that made our day so special. Our event was held in the patio room that has a wall of windows for lots of natural light. The walls were freshly painted a soft light green which will match any decorations. The food was excellent & very delicious with a good variety for any taste. The buffet tables were covered with long white tablecloths & bright shining stainless steel serving trays. The cake table was a beautiful glass topped table. There is also additional side rooms that are lovely for taking family photos. We had a wonderful day with family & friends.

Yesterday I attended a wedding reception there. The server seemed to be an older woman with short cut hair came around offering hors d'oeuvres or such she made a joke at my expense and I was extremely embarrassed and thought that she was unprofessional. As a guest at an event I don't want to fraternize with the servers and be embarrassed in front of my peer group. I will never go there again for any reason for the rest of my life

My daughter had her wedding and reception at La Maison Creole in January 2021. The wedding planner and family thought we had chosen the perfect venue until the day of the event. 1) We never received all of the food listed in the contract; 2) there was no security on hand even though we paid for security--we did eventually get a refund for this; 3) some walls and posts were unfinished/unpainted; 4) there was insufficient staffing--guests were serving themselves because there was no one to serve them. I complained to the manager, Kyle, during the event. Kyle's attitude was horrible; he blamed everyone for these issues except La Maison Creole. Days after the event, we complained to the office and again we where met with horrible condescending attitudes.

I am furious with the hell this venue put me through. I have tried to reach out to the owner since then to voice my concerns and they will not answer any of my calls.

It's been almost 2 years and I'm still highly upset with how unprofessional this place was - they even damaged my property and didn't even pay for the items that were broken. I figured I should speak out and warn others of the experience since it's been this long and I still get upset thinking about it! We were supposed to get a brunch and instead got a continental breakfast, no breakfast meat!! No house made anything!! Definitely not worth what we paid!! The venue was nice, a little worn but ok.

The food is here is really good depending on what you get. The only thing I did not like was the lamb shanks passed around with mint jelly. Tasted like previously frozen and re-cooked. The carving station was delicious with au jus for the prime rib. The spinach dip was lovely also. The set up of the dance floor, line for the bar, and seating is awkward. Parking is limited and the location is easy to find.

This is the best catering venue I have been to in a long time. I wasn't the person who booked the wedding, but I was the sister of the bride. Being involved with the planning process was made a lot smother with the help of the event coordinator Courtney. She help us pick out everything that we needed for the wedding. We also met the event manager, Randall, who was in charge of executing the events and he ensured us everything would be perfect. They didn't disappoint, they went above and beyond what we expected. They had a personal bar for the bridal party in the bridal suite before the ceremony and for pictures. The hostest Tiffany was also awesome to work with. Randall and Tiffany did anything we asked and were on top of everything. Thank you, Courtney, Randall, Tiffany, and the staff for making my sisters wedding a success. I recommend this place to everyone. P.S I was really worried about this place because of the bad review from a few years ago, but after we talked to them they have new management, and I am glad we didn't read into that review.
