La Maison TATIN

We came from Tours, driving almost two hours, just to taste a slice of the original Tarte Tatin, promoted as their “maison specialty” in every guide. Unfortunately, they didn’t serve us, as they had only a few cakes reserved for hotel guests. It was very disappointing to leave without tasting it. For those as unlucky as we were, we found a simple bar just a 3-minute drive away — Bar du Marché — which serves a very good Tarte Tatin. We recommend it to anyone who might have the same experience.

We went for a visit to taste the famous Tarte Tatin. Very friendly staff, but the tarte tatin itself wasn't as good as we had hoped. Large pieces of apple and very soggy dough at the bottom. Not really worth the 10 EUR a piece. Still glad we went and had the experience, but not to be repeated.

Very clean and quiet boutique hotel. Staff very friendly but little English. Do not ask for a Tart Tatin. Very basic and the cost was out of this world at 20euros for 2 pieces. Today we paid 23 euros for three courses in Amilly

Great place and excellent service. We got there for Coffee and Tart Tatin just as lunch service was about to start but they found us a table in the Tea room. Definitely worth a visit.

Very friendly reception by the hotel staff. Room was renewed, modern furniture and clean, all accommodations are present.||We reserved a family room (separate area for the kids), however that number of rooms seemed limited and the kids slept in beds in our room. The hotel gave us a compensation for this.||Nice breakfast, spaceous garden and a secure parking lot.||The history of the hotel (linked to tarte tatin) is nice, however the hotel could do more with this history perhaps? ||The tarte tatin in the restaurant is a recommendation, as well as this hotel!

Very nice restaurant with reasonably wide choice of meals and especially with great tarte Tatin. 100% recommend for your trip to Sologne.

Excellent and very nice room at a good rate. All very new and clean. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. Good recommendation.

The tarte tatin was unforgettably good - and I'm not a fan of this dessert.
