Food Rundown Cebiche Tasting The trio of marinated raw fish includes the halibut- and hominy-filled Clásico, a peppery orange-hued Limeño with calamari and plump shrimp, and a Nikkei version accented by salty soy and Japanese cucumber. While we wish the halibut cubes were diced a bit smaller, this is a great way to share some standout cebiche with the whole table. photo credit: Aimee Rizzo Nikkei Nigiri Be careful with the nigiri—some taste delightful, others are bland. The keyword here is “hamachi.” photo credit: Aimee Rizzo Wontacos We cannot understate how good these crackly little isosceles triangles of creamy-spicy tuna and bright aji amarillo squiggles are. If the night exclusively entails pisco sours and a fistful of wontacos, hats off to your better judgment. photo credit: Aimee Rizzo Langostinos Melcocha But this plate of crispy blue shrimp tossed in tangy-sweet melcocha sauce belongs on your table, too. The idea is to assemble lettuce wraps with the crustaceans in question along with the accompanying mango salsa, and we can’t think of a better kind-of-light dinner. photo credit: Aimee Rizzo Chaufa Aeropuerto It’s a hot stone pot filled with rice, quinoa, pork belly, pickled vegetables, and some other stuff that doesn’t nearly get as crispy as it should, despite being housed in a scalding cauldron. Not bad, but there are better menu pursuits. Lomo Saltado La Mar’s pinkies-up version of the steak and fries classic is infiltrated with snooty little touches (read: microgreens). The thing’s freaking delicious, we’re afraid. Just note that lomo saltado purists may become angry—nay, furious—with the clunky fried potato hunks in place of fries." - Aimee Rizzo

Food is great, service needs more training. Came for a birthday, host congratulated with bday, waitress didn’t. Other tables received a dessert with candle but I did not. Waitress was in a rush all the time. When asked between 2 mains which one to choose, can you tell more about them, she said I would go with #2 it’s so good and that’s all information she gave.

We really loved dining at La Mar, really exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail and commitment to guest service set it apart from the rest. The food was absolutely delicious! Each bite was a delight, and the presentation just blew us away. The restaurant has such a vibrant atmosphere, but also perfect for a romantic dinner or any other occasion. Highly recommend!!

We chose this restaurant for our team lunch based on a recommendation, and the place had a great ambiance. However, when the menu arrived, it was quite confusing—filled with unfamiliar terms that left us second-guessing our choices and even reordering a few times. Not wanting to take too many risks, I opted for the halibut. Among the appetizers, I preferred the eggplant over the octopus, though both had delicious flavors and sauces. For the main course, I was blown away by the halibut—it was the best I’ve ever had! Everyone’s dishes looked fantastic, and the entire team loved their meals. I imagine ordering will be much easier next time! The bill came to $101 per person, including tips, with no alcohol or cocktails ordered.

La Mar is leading the way and setting the bar high for others to follow. Cusine quality was exceptional, presentation was superior and service was beyond expectations! This is easily the best restaurant in Bellevue and possible in the PNW! Don't let the unfamiliar menu put you off. Every dish was a pleasant surprise of flavors and the visually stimulating presentation was consistently spellbinding...

We had our first experience with Peruvian cuisine, and it exceeded expectations from the moment we arrived. Our steward, Daniel, welcomed us with warmth and provided next-level hospitality throughout the meal. We started with the veg ceviche and eggplant with chickpeas, both offering excellent vegetarian options. For non-veg, the fresh catch stew and uni with scallop were flavorful and perfectly prepared. The cocktails, including the Golden Inka, Olympic Tower, and an Old Fashioned with a Peruvian twist, were well-crafted and unique. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with great food, drinks, and exceptional service

Walking into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted warmly by the front desk staff, who offered to take our jackets. It was a thoughtful touch that set the tone for an elegant evening. Sergio, one of the hosts, personally escorted us to our table and took the time to introduce us to the restaurant’s theme and concept. It was a great way to set expectations and make us feel welcomed. He then introduced us to our server for the evening, who took excellent care of us—explaining the menu efficiently and professionally without ever feeling rushed. We started with their taro chips made from sweet potato and taro root, paired with a Peruvian mint and jalapeño salt. The chips were light, crispy, and delicious, and the seasoning added just the right balance of freshness and spice to get us excited for the courses ahead. Next, we moved on to the ceviches, which were presented beautifully. We tried the classical, the con leche, and the tuna. Each one was delicious, but the classical stood out as exceptional—bright, balanced, and packed with flavor—while the tuna was phenomenal with its clean and vibrant profile. I’d recommend opting for the trio instead of ordering individually. It allows you to experience all the flavors without overspending, and it’s a more complete way to enjoy this part of the menu. After that, we sampled the nigiri, but it fell short of expectations. The rice was slightly tough, and the seasoning was lacking, which made it feel out of place compared to the rest of the meal. We followed with the tuna wonton tacos. While they had a pleasant crunch, the flavors felt a bit flat and one-dimensional. A touch more acidity or spice could have elevated them. Next was the scallop dish. The scallop itself was cooked well and tasted good, but the portion was very small for the price, making it feel more like a tasting bite than a proper dish. For our main course, we shared the mixed grilled fish platter. The shrimp and octopus were definite highlights—succulent and well-seasoned—but the fish itself was slightly overcooked, which took away from the overall experience. Dessert turned out to be the best part of the evening. We ordered the tres leches cake, which was moist, rich, and beautifully balanced—not too sweet but perfectly indulgent. To top it off, the staff surprised us with a complimentary chocolate cake. This thoughtful gesture made the evening feel extra special and left a lasting impression. Service throughout the night was impeccable. From Sergio’s warm introduction to our server’s attentive and polished approach, every detail was handled with care. While a few dishes could benefit from refinement, such as the nigiri and tuna tacos, the standout moments—especially the ceviches and desserts—made the evening memorable. With its elegant atmosphere, thoughtful service, and vibrant flavors, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting again. Next time, we’ll explore more of the menu while focusing on the highlights we now know to order.

Our first time visited La Mar, was in San Francisco and fell in love with the food and atmosphere there. We are so happy that they decided to open another store in downtown Bellevue. We visited the restaurant last week, just a couple of days after the grand opening. The food was fabulous. We highly recommend the ceviche tasting and the sea urchin. The seafood was very fresh, and the taste was awesome!! The service was also great. The server is very kind and patient to explain and describe all the details about each dish and answer all the questions we had about the manu. The store manager was also around to make sure every customer is being very well taken care of. The blue color chairs in the restaurant make you feel you are at a beach, which adds a great touch to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, we had a great time there, and we will definitely revisit soon.

Google
Great Peruvian experience, dishes were flavorful and distinct . We tried the Tiradito and Ceviche samplers and both were terrific with each sampler unique. Octopus which our waiter Daniel recommended was excellent . Daniel our waiter added to the experience and his recommendations spot on. The push sour’s were another as good as in Peru and had a slightly eggy taste.

Yelp
Amazing food and service tonight! Everything our server Rena recommended was delicious and service was impeccable by Rena, Gustavo and others. I've never really had Peruvian food and I will be definitely be back - seafood was high quality, sauces were amazing and cocktails were delish. Thanks for a great dinner. We ordered the following and it was all amazing: Criollo Tiraditos Crab Causas Roquitas de cranjego Planchaza La Mar Cacao

Yelp
I wish we enjoyed our experience more. Top of mind was how rushed we were. Four people sharing a 3 course meal and we were out the door in 75 minutes. For example, one of us was still eating their meal when the waiter asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. He brought the dessert menus, passed them out and made recommendations - while my friend was still eating his main. As a matter of fact, the dessert was brought to the table while he was trying to enjoy his last bites. Talk about bring rushed. In general, dishes were cleared very quickly, and often as we were finishing. About that dessert though. The Tres Leches cake was fabulous. The best thing we ate. Wonderful textures and flavors, I was sorry we shared it amongst the 4 of us (though rich enough for a few bites to satisfy). We had a lot explained to us, very quickly. As we were taken to our table we were paused for an explanation of the cuisine. The waiter did a lot of explaining as well. While helpful to learn about a cuisine you aren't very familiar with, saying less and talking a bit slower would be helpful. We shared the ceviche sampler. Interesting flavors from one to the other. Small portions, one bite per person of each. Lots of red onion, not very much fish. I really enjoyed the interesting corn in these dishes (as well as the unique types of corn throughout the meal). We also tried the squid ink tempura. We didn't realize it would be balls of crab and chicken ground together, and the balls had the tempura coating. Reminded me of dumpling filling. The aioli-type sauce made them tasty. We wouldn't order them again. We shared the Planchaza La Mar and thought it was an impressive plate. The hailbut was seasoned particularly well. The shrimp were good sized. The potatoes were crispy and delicious. The octopus was tough and chewy. The corn might have been the best part of the plate after the halibut. The waiter suggested we order one of the rice dishes to eat with it, so we ordered the Arroz con Pato. It tasted like a rice casserole, and was very creamy. With the duck mixed in, it was somewhat lost. The pops of corn kernels were a highlight in this dish. However, no relationship with this dish to the other. The chips and salsa served when you sit are welcome (though only the taro chips were crisp). There is plenty of parking, but it's a long walk outside and around the building to get to the entrance. It was quite cold and windy for us when we made that walk. I think the quality of ingredients is high, but the service and overall dishes need improvement.

Yelp
La Mar Cocina Peruana Bellevue is an absolute must-visit if you're looking for a dining experience that's as refined as it is flavorful. From the moment you walk in, everything is immaculate--the stylish decor, warm ambiance, and top-tier service set the tone for an incredible meal. While their menu is a seafood lover's dream, we stuck to all cooked dishes--and let me tell you, the quality and freshness of the ingredients still shined through in every bite! What We Had & Loved: Maracuya Sour - Refreshing with the perfect balance of tang and sweetness. Royal Sour - Smooth and rich, an excellent take on a classic. Pulpo Anticuchero - I've never had octopus this tender before! Absolutely delicious. Chaufa Aeropuerto - Think fried rice, but next level--deep, complex flavors. Lomo Saltado - The beef was incredibly tender, practically melting in your mouth. Tres Leches de Coco - Do NOT leave without trying this! Cappuccino - Because no meal is complete without a perfect cup of coffee. La Mar Bellevue brings something truly special to the city's dining scene. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This place will try to upsell you until your last breath. The service was not good and while I had a reservation, we were seated 10 minutes past, which was already a bad sign. As soon as you sit down, you get asked " Would you like still or sparkling water from Saratoga?" it took me a moment to process, but then I said tap, and immediately I felt that the waiter was judging me. When I decided to order ceviche, the waiter was really pushing me and pressuring me to do the tasting trio of ceviche instead. I just didn't appreciate the constant upsell and I felt this throughout the entire dinner. I feel like this place is upscale enough without resorting to these kinds of shady tactics. Anyway, the food was just OK and honestly too salty for me. The traditional ceviche was just OK. I think the flavors were really good, but the cut of fish felt a bit too chewy and tough to me. I did like the octopus flavors, but it could have been cooked a bit more tender. The arroz con mariscos was pretty good overall and had pretty fresh seafood, but again just felt a little bit too salty to me. This was pretty mediocre for the staggering price tag, and along with the pushy service, it just wasn't an enjoyable meal. I won't be returning to this location.

Yelp
Overall: definitely worth trying. Seafood quality is amazing, but generally an amazing date night location. No debate on rating: if you love seafood and you can splurge a bit, you need to be here! The missus got a same-week reservation for Friday, February 7th, at 6:15pm. We arrived on time and were seated within 10 minutes or so - it was PACKED in here, as expected of a new high-end Peruvian restaurant opening in Bellevue. Apparently this is a chain from SF. It's pisco month, so they donate the profits to a culinary school in Peru, where their pastry chef graduated from. I'm ordering a lychee sour ($18), which is a drink with pisco (alcohol) in it. Pisco is a no-water-added alcohol, which can take up to 16lbs of grapes to make 75ml of the raw material that creates pisco alcohol. The missus is ordering a spirit free cocktail - the chicha morada ($12). Both drinks were excellent - I was much more drawn to the lychee sour because it reminded me of the taste of pulque but texture of a whiskey sour (without the bitterness). Inner decor is very high end - the staff always seem to be running around doing something - moving food, drink, or people around quickly. Food comments: the missus emphasized that this fish quality was impressive, and I agree. She mentioned many Peruvian chefs are world-renowned - and this restaurant exemplifies that train of thought. For apps, we ordered: (with commentary) - Cebiche tasting ($56): acidic (left and right), but all tasty. Corn was the underrated dark horse best part. The Nikkei was my favourite, the missus thought the clasico was her least fav but she didn't have a fav. - Tiraditos criollo ($26): this showed up 2nd. Every bite of this was better than the last - I'm glad I didn't order the trio, this was easily incredible on its own! - Piqueos - Veal heart anticuchos criollo ($27): wow, the veal was perfect, and the corn is still amazing! The sauces really give it an extra "pop" of flavour. They give you two skewers and two off-skewer fried pieces of veal heart. For main dishes, the missus ordered arroz con mariscos ($42) on recommendation from the bartender, and I ordered the Lomo Saltado ($44). Both were incredible for their own reasons; the rice in the seafood dish was sooooo good - the meat in the saltado was heavenly. We were so full we had to pack about 1/4 to 1/3 of each main dish (too much food for two people). We heard the tres leches was INCREDIBLE, so we obviously saved room for that (the picarones did look like a good runner up option though). Yep. It's worth ordering. Stop reading this and order it RIGHT NOW. I also ordered the passion fruit pisco sour after I finished the lychee sour. I liked the passion fruit more than the lychee, but my palate tends to prefer sweeter flavours. The service is awesome - they describe the dishes to you, and space out the "orders" so you don't get overwhelmed, especially since the plates are kinda large, and we're seated at the bar. Btw - bar or table - this place is a vibe. They also change out your personal plate / cutlery after every "round" (at the bar at least) - so you never mix flavours or have 'leftover' flavours from past cutlery. I'm sure it's a lot of cutlery and dishes used, but I'm grateful - this place is definitely high end. Total was $335 USD after tax and tip (2 adults) The ambience is a decently loud soundtrack, but the noise of the packed house drowns out the background music, for the most part. Parking is in the alleyway behind the restaurant, in the Amazon building (Dynamo?). It's pricey, but it's right underneath the restaurant. Hard to beat the location. The restaurant will validate parking - so make sure you print the receipt to get it validated!

Yelp
Welcome to Bellevue, Gaston Acurio! What a special treat for Bellevue to have a Gaston Acurio restaurant, as he is one of the best chefs in Peru and the world. We were lucky to experience his restaurants while in Peru, and now there's a location in our city! La Mar Cocina Peruana is a Peruvian restaurant that has traditional fare that's elevated and inspired by Chinese and Japanese cuisines. Seafood is what to order here, but you won't be disappointed in anything you order at La Mar. Located in a new Amazon tower in downtown Bellevue, the restaurant is fancy, but not uptight. It's casual, but I wouldn't try walking in, expecting a table to be available. Reservations are highly recommended, which you can easily do online. We visited here for dinner and enjoyed our dining experience. The staff is very attentive and helpful, and the server goes over the menu with you, explaining the different items. Every table gets potato chips that are housemade from different potatoes. We ordered the ceviche sampler and the seafood platter, which was all delicious. For drinks, we had the specialty cocktail of the pisco sour and chicha morada. Of the ceviches, I liked the classic one the best and loved how it included the sweet potatoes and corn kernels, just like in Peru. The seafood platter was also delicious, which came with halibut, tiger prawns, octopus, and potatoes in a chimichurri sauce. Yum! And for special occasions, they give you a complimentary dessert. I will happily come back to La Mar and try more of their menu items. It not only has amazing food in a posh setting, but it transforms you to Peru, a place I have very fond memories of. Love it.

Victoria C.

Yelp
Food: the ceviches were fresh and tasty and we enjoyed all the entrees we got. Must try the tres leches for dessert! Service: friendly, warm. Ambiance: vibrant, lively. The space is big and I hope they open the patio for the summer They have a corkage fee for 2 bottles max. Definitely worth it to bring your own if you're a wine drinker.

Reetu P.

Yelp
Ambience is gorgeous!!! No doubt this restaurant is beautiful and laid out very well. Came here and sat at the bar. Tallas at the bar was awesome. Poor dude had to listen to our chit chat. Great service, he was patient with our orders and modifications. This place is high end !!! We wanted to check the place out and it did not disappoint. Had wine and cocktails and yes it is on the higher price point compared to other restaurants. Wine started from $15/glass and cocktails were $18+. We ordered yuca fries and potatoes and it did not disappoint. Service is exceptional, restaurant is clean and very well organized staff. Reservations are highly recommended as it got very busy. Will grab dinner on a special occasion as given the price point this is not your everyday restaurant for dinner or drinks.

Patrick L.

Yelp
Beautiful interior , friendly service and delicious food. We were tucked in a corner on a busy Friday night so sometimes the waiter took a while to get us more water or answer any questions we had about the menu or food. We ordered the sampler for ceviche and the raw fish appetizers , and then several entrees to share. I'd say overall their menu is expansive and good for sharing but portions amounts are not huge. The place is pricey, with some drinks and dinner on the "lighter" side the bill was still over 100 per person. Don't skip out on the tres leche for dessert, their take on it was amazing.

Kelly S.

Yelp
Made rez 3 weeks in advance for 6 people. The place was beautiful and the little table lights made it look like tall candles and were quite bright, which we liked since some restaurants are so dark you can barely see the food. 1) classic ceviche - 5/5. My fave. Flavorful and refreshing. 2) passion fruit ceviche - 3/5. A little too sweet and salty for me. 3) whole Japanese sea bream - 4/5. Tender and meaty, and the sauces were delicious. But expensive for what you get. 4) octopus appetizer - 4/5. Delicious, but a little salty at the end. 5) truffle ceviche - 3/5. Truffle was good, but the chips didn't really work well with it. 6) quinoa burrata salad - 3/5. Not my fave. 7) tiger prawn pasta - 4/5. Good flavor. 8) seafood "fried rice" - 2/5. Omg. So salty! 9) tres leche - 3/5. Good, but really soupy and slightly too sweet. Drinks were good and strong and the taro chips with dip was good, too. Overall, if some of the items weren't so salty, we would've enjoyed everything more. All of us drank so much water! The fourth star is really for the excellent service and a would return factor for special occasions. On the pricy side so you wanna come with a group to try the various dishes.

Yelp
Reservation: via opentable, credit card required to hold reservation. Parking: free with validation parking garage thru 105th behind fedex. Check in with the hostess. We waited in the roomy waiting area. Restrooms: both men and women restrooms and family one too. Ambiance: nice not too dark, a tad loud, restaurant is very welcoming from the host to everyone. They greeted you when you enter the dining area and as you leave too. Wow!! Our table was ready so the gentleman was ready to take us back. Originally we were seated on the booth type table with 2 extra chairs. We asked if we can move to a bigger table since there's 6 of us and we plan to order a bunch and share the dishes. Love it when a restaurant willing to accommodate their customers' requests. Our server was very friendly, has knowledge about the menu and special items, and attentive. We ordered: Taro/cassava chips is complimentary. You can order more for $6. Cebiche tasting $56 El Trio $62 Japanese whole Sea Bream $109- de-boned oven whole fish Achupado $52 - buccatini pasta with seafood Arroz con Pato $46 - duck leg with rice Planchaza la mar $92 - seafood Overall great food, has strong taste. We had an amazing time. We didn't get any desserts today because we brought birthday cake. No cutting cake fee, which is awesome.

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY WOW-ED by this place, this dining journey is exquisite from start to finish. Very spacious, airy ambiance with a seafood area, and a cooking area. Any place you sit, you feel like you're about to experience something else, and that is no exaggeration. Our server was quite impressive, as if they had to be very weill trained and memorized to be able to hit the floor, and she spoke so eloquently and explanatory regarding the dishes I was heavily impressed... They change your plates and cutlery with every course. Drinks were nice. (non-alcoholic). The ceviche classico, the causa, and the veal heart (medium) was too die for. Worth every penny. I did regret going for the aeropurto over the saltado but next time!

Yelp
The best restaurant I've tried this year! If you have the chance, just go and see for yourself. Amazing service, vibes, and most importantly food. The parking is easy in a nearby garage and they validate parking. We tried many dishes and genuinely thought everything was amazing. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the explanation of the menu. The only thing I'd warn is I think getting both the cebiche tasting and tiraditos sampler (el trio) is a bit too much acidity when eaten all together, so just get one sampler or choose maybe three individual cebiche/tiradito dishes max. Save your appetite for the other courses, trust me! We were absolutely stuffed by the end of our meal and the waiter kindly packed up our leftovers for us. The serving sizes were far bigger than I expected for this type of restaurant. My favorite dish was the pulpo (octopus) by far. The price of our meal was completely justified with the quality and portion of food and level of service. We went on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was packed with people for good reason.

Chelsea M.

Yelp
We recently came here for a date night, coming from Seattle, and had a good meal here. First, it's just a different vibe than what we are used to in Seattle. Not bad or good necessarily but certainly much flashier and trying to impress. The service was bonkers and there was way more staff than necessary but there is also always someone there to get whatever it is you need. You do pay for this level of service though. We got a drink at the bar and the bartender was warm and an expert at making drinks. We ordered the Rainier Sour and the Nikkei Negroni. Both were very smooth and delicious drinks but both were also slightly sweeter than we would typically care for. For dinner we shared a variety of items; the clasico ceviche, the fried seafood with yuca and plantains, the saltado lomo and the tres leches cake. The ceviche was the standout dish to me with large plump pieces of tender halibut in a very citrus packed juice that really woke up our taste buds. The fried seafood platter could have been better seasoned and crispier but a large portion to share. The saltado lomo was very umami rich and quite good. The tres leches was amazing! I'd come back but probably just for ceviche and drinks. Definitely more of a fine dining sort of place and not your typical night out.

Richelle M.

Yelp
Came here for Valentine's Day dinner and I was charged a 20% large party fee for 2 and was never made aware of it beforehand. A $135 set menu for two turned into a $400 bill. Future customers beware before dining here for holidays!

Yelp
La Mar Cebicheria Peruana is an international Peruvian restaurant chain that has opened its third location in the U.S. in Bellevue. The restaurant and décor are high end, with prices to match. On a Friday night, it is packed. With its name of the sea, its menu has a focus on seafood but doesn't ignore the omnivores. The music is club-level blasting. Having a conversation across a big table could be challenging. I could almost use ear plugs inside. The service is exceptionally diligent. Staff members stand by the columns throughout the restaurant ready to swoop down and pick up the empty plates. They change plates and wipe tables between dishes. Our server, Sebastian, thoroughly explained the menu; two other staff members also checked in on us while we conferred on our many choices. To say they are well-staffed is an understatement. The rating is rounded-up for service. For parking, follow the signs for garage parking in the same building. They validate. The Food - a shout-out to their plating. The colorful choices of garnishes made all the dishes particularly enticing. Cebiche Tasting, $48 - 5 Stars Menu: Clasico (halibut), Limeño (mixed seafood), and Nikkei (ahi tuna) Choosing the sampler trio was definitely the best choice. Even though we each had our favorites, we simply enjoyed tasting all. We'll likely order the trio again in the future. Saltado (nigiri Nikkei), $17 - 4 Stars Menu: wagyu skirt steak, quail egg, chalaca, lomo saltado sauce Seared wagyu steak coated the rice like a skirt. One of the quail eggs was a bit too cooked instead of lightly poached. The bite into the egg was too dense. The meat flavor dominates. Even so, it is a delightful bite. Pulpo Anticuchero, $36 - 3.5 Stars Menu: grilled octopus, chimichurri, botija olive aioli, crispy capers, garlic chip, crispy potatoes I want the octopus to be more charred. When it is not charred enough, a gooey outermost layer leaves a gross mouth-feel. On the other hand, the assembly and colors of this dish is a visual wonder. The rating would be lower otherwise. Achupado, $46 - 4 Stars Menu: bucatini pasta, catch of the day, scallop, octopus, shrimp in creamy chupe sauce, huacatay, rocoto aioli I should have looked up bucatini pasta, which is thicker than spaghetti. I don't like thick pasta, but that's on me. The sauce is divine. Each piece of the seafood is individually seared to perfection. This dish is 4 stars for me, likely 5 stars for many other folks. I don't think they put on the correct aioli - rocoto, which is a red color. The green is the same as the botija olive aioli on the octopus. Lomo Saltado, $44 - 5 Stars Menu: wok stir-fried beef tenderloin, tomatoes, red onions, cilantro, jalapeño, oyster sauce, soy sauce, potatoes, rice Leveraging Chinese cuisine, this dish is their version of flash, ultra-high heat wok stir-fried beef and veggies. The potatoes are separated fried, prepared in the same manner as the octopus dish. The result is shockingly fantastic with ultra tender beef. Taro chips, first round free, second round, $7 First round is free. When they ask if you like more chips, they don't tell you it's not free. LOL. They are freshly fried with a wonderful dipping sauce (botija olive aioli?). Be sure to ask for it if they forget to deliver the first free round.

Yelp
$740.78 total (includes tax and tip) for 2 small kids, 2 women, and 1 large adult male Bellevue location (La Mar) too new to be in FB's locations database. SF one is still there. Great vibe, good food, and outstanding service despite my wearing pajamas and long overdue for a haircut. In addition to two drinks: Cebiche Tasting - a selection of our most popular cebiches: Clasico, Limeño, & Nikkei El Trio - a selection of our three tiraditos: Criollo, Bachiche, & Laqueado Crab - dungeness crab, purple potato, palta, egg, creamy aji amarillo sauce Saltado - wagyu skirt steak, quail egg, chalaca, lomo saltado sauce Veal Heart Anticuchos Criollos - anticuchera sauce, potatoes, choclo, and Peruvian sauces Achupado - bucatini pasta, catch of the day, scallop, octopus, shrimp in creamy chupe sauce, huacatay Arroz con Mariscos - shrimp, clams, calamari, wok-fried rice, aji panca, aji amarillo, mixed vegetables, leche de tigre :: Ordered two of these in a row - my daughter loved it and given how picky she is, it's a challenge to get her to eat enough when going out. Flavors, textures, and presentation were excellent. I should have ordered more veggies to balance things out, but that's on me, not the restaurant. Desserts: Cacao - lucuma mousse, chocolate mousse, caramelized quinoa Tres Leches de Coco - brown-butter sponge cake, Italian meringue, manjar blanco ice cream, candied coconut Off Menu Special - Tomahawk La Mar - 28 days aged 40 oz. Tomahawk ribeye, a trio of chimichurri sauces; yes, yes, yes, getting something like this here is questionable, but was in the mood for raw, unadulterated beef. And of course, an obscene number of blue Saratoga water bottles - both still and sparkling. Makes me laugh every time I see it here vs. the East Coast. Topo Chico is superior, but involves slightly lower margins and doesn't present as well as these beautiful blue bottles.

Yelp
Daniel(she) made the experience 100% better. This was my first time trying Peruvian food but it was great. Ceviche samplers were super delicious and seafood was as fresh as it could be. I will have to update the review later

Linda H.

Yelp
Classy restaurant. Excellent service. Daniel was amazing and so knowledgeable of the menu. If you are looking for traditional Peruvian food, this is not the place for you. All the dishes take the food up a notch from what you expect. Flavors are exotic. We loved all our dishes. Octopus melts in your mouth, fish stew is vibrant, even the free taro chips are crunchy and fresh. I highly recommend this place. We didn't know what to expect, some members wearing sweats and really still felt treated like Vips. Thank you La Mar! Will be coming back again.

Yelp
Opened 2 weeks ago! 95% good things to say- I'll start with the 5% con: pacing of food. La Mar warns you food will come out as food comes up from kitchen. Great, no waiting, but it changes the experience a little. I don't mind if my fresh fish sit for a moment, but my hot octopus dish was room temp by the time I finished enjoying my cold dishes. This may be a personal preference. Food- delicious, fresh, high quality, vibrant visually and on your taste buds. Large selection of raw and cooked foods. *complimentary root chips with sauce. So nicely cut thin. *saltado nigiri- wagyu slice with quail egg and sauces. Yum yum! * cebiche tasting- all delicious in their own way. Yum yum. *el trio (tiraditos) - slices of raw fish in a variety of sauces with toppings. Yum yum * pulpo- octopus on 2 skewers with fried potatoes and sauces. Tender and delicious. Nice way to end our savory meal. All ordered for 2 people and we were full! Wish I had more space for plated main courses. Drinks- oh so many to choose from. Non alcoholic and alcoholic. They honor their best cocktail hits nationally, around the world and have their own local selections of cocktails to wine. Service- excellent!! (Minus pacing of food as noted above). *Free coat check. 3 people rotated to serve us. 1. Only drink menus given first. Order drinks with service then 2.they review the menu with you. 3. Drinks and food came out very quickly. 4 someone always filling our water or tidying our table. 5. Looking for the bathroom, someone walked me 90% there. Ambiance - hip, open, relaxing fancy. - live DJ every Fri and Sat. Bathroom- has nice Vegas thick napkins to dry hands in the women's bathroom - bathrooms are at lower level past the host stand. Location- directly across from Belden Cafe on Main Street in the new Amazon building. Entrance is on Main Street. Parking- garage available, with validation. Value- expensive, but fair for the upscaleness, Vibe and quality. Recommend- YES!

Yelp
We had the pleasure of enjoying a weekend lunch at La Mar Cocina Peruana in Bellevue, and it was truly a culinary journey we won't soon forget! Every dish we ordered was a masterful blend of flavor, tradition, and presentation. We started with the Taro Chips, which were impossibly crisp and perfectly seasoned, paired with a tangy and vibrant dipping sauce that immediately set the tone for an exceptional meal. The Beef Empanada followed, and it was nothing short of perfection - golden, flaky pastry encasing a rich, savory filling that was deeply satisfying. The standout main dishes were an explosion of authentic Peruvian flavors. The Arroz Con Pato was a revelation, with tender duck cooked to perfection, served over a bed of fragrant, herb-infused rice. The Lomo Saltado, a classic Peruvian dish, was an absolute delight. The beef was tender, the vegetables vibrant, and the flavors balanced beautifully - a true comfort dish elevated to new heights. For dessert, we couldn't resist the Picarones and Cacao, and they were the perfect ending to a flawless meal. The picarones were light, airy, and drizzled with a luscious syrup that brought the entire dish together. The Cacao was indulgent and smooth, rounding off the experience with a rich chocolatey finish. While some reviews have mentioned the cost as being on the higher side, we can confidently say that you can taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into every dish. Each bite was a testament to the skill of the chefs and their commitment to bringing the authentic flavors of Peru to life.

Yelp
For starters, this place is so new that Uber or Google does not find it quite yet. It's a 12 min walk from our office in Bellevue so we walked it. Opening is in a week and we are happy to be one of the groups who got invited to dine. Two of my colleagues hail from Singapore and it's delightful to get them to try something new. We tried pretty much everything on the menu. La Mar has been around in San Francisco for over a decade (since it first opened in 2008 I have been going there), so it's wonderful to see after so many years it decides to open its first Pacific Northwest restaurant in Bellevue, Washington. My former San Francisco resident turned into Washingtonian says one such restaurant exist in Panama City, which he frequents. An anecdote I didn't know know that I needed to know until now. A few months ago, when I mentioned about this restaurant venture to a friend of mine in Sao Paulo, they found such restaurant also exists in Sao Paulo, Brazil. La Mar Bellevue features some important local sourced ingredients. If you are into seafood, you will find the fish super fresh and the ceviche menu similar to its sister restaurant in San Francisco. My favorite was the grilled octopus on the second course menu besides the ceviche combo. The most surprised dish was the eggplant. I did not know what I was eating at all. It's so meaty and delightful - a hint of sweet and sour. The pork belly and shrimp fried rice and duck leg clay pot of rice reminded me something you'd get in Korean restaurants, but better flavor. My friends' favorite dish was the wagu beef nigiri. It was pretty decadent. Bellevue location serves up high end Peruvian seafood, sushi and Chinese food combined with a lot of innovative cocktails. The service is impeccable - very attentive for being second day under a trial period. The dishes are delightful. Most importantly there is a small detail that made all food photogenic. The lighting on the table is super unusual,, and it really helped to create instant social media ready food-log photos. I was let in on a well known fact - this restaurant is nestled inside of the new Amazon buildings (there are three in fact), and it's already been rumored to be the Amazon cafeteria given its proximity. Alas, I don't work for Amazon, but my Bellevue office is not too far away. I was chatting with one investor and they asked if Singapore should be on the location to go next. I said yes. This type of food would wow my friends, colleagues and travelers in Singapore for sure. A perfect LatAm-meets-East-meets-Northwest type of shindig! An excellent add to Bellevue!

Yelp
A few updates after a second visit to La Mar... Ceviche Vic is a must have. Delicious Ceviche that is the Chef's specialty. Halibut and artichoke make such a fantastic dish! Tiradito trio continued to be amazing variety of flavors and colors. I think this is my favorite dish, with the Anticucho criollo of heart a close second! I tried Lomo salteado, which is a very traditional Peruvian dish and it really was fantastic. Great to pair with the Malbec by the glass. I also gave it a shot to the Duck with Rice. The flavor was fantastic and the duck was tender. Greeters and waitress continue to get better. Ambience on Monday night is great for a business dinner, date night or friends get together.

Yelp
Great service and food. Flavors were new and different but very tasty! Bartender gave us a nice crash course on Peruvian history, alcohol, and flavors.

Yelp
First time in a long time when my fiance and I both agreed that every single dish we ordered was delicious! From the moment you walked in, the host all the way to our waiter Daniel was so sweet and accommodating. We honestly thought/felt like we were in another state since there's not many restaurants here that have stellar service (especially given they've only been open 2 weeks)! Some of our items were forgotten like taro chips with our ceviche sampler, our scallop la punta, etc but we got it in a few minutes after reminding them! The restaurant is very clean, it's dark ambiance with blue accents give it a tropical/modern look. We just went yesterday and already booked another reservation with our friends next week! Must order items: - Ceviche Sampler - Pulpo Anticuchero - Empanadas (Aji De Gallina) - Achupado - Picarones

Yelp
TL;DR: A very immaculate eatery worthy of a fancy night out (with what should be attentive service and a price tag to accompany it). However, the food was way too salty and the service (a few weeks into opening) was inattentive leaving much to be desired. My wife and I chose to go to La Mar for a fancy night out. We heard great things from friends, so we sought to try it. However, upon checking in for the reservation at opening on a weekend, we ended up waiting 10+ minutes to actually be seated. No apologies when the host communicated to us that the person who checked us in actually didn't do it. Once seated, we got the drinks menu but no food menu for another 10 minutes. They pushed getting drinks. If you just want water, you have to ask for tap water... else you're paying for still or sparkling. The waitress assigned to us was slow despite only serving one other table. Granted she could have been new, but it likely contributed to our entire dining experience being nearly 2 hours for a mere 3 dishes. Wow, the food was SALTY. The portions were big. The highlight was the ceviche. The Arroz Con Pato and Seco Del Mar were insanely salty thus hiding the spices and other flavors. The fish and other meats were seemingly cooked well though. This is also not authentic Peruvian but rather many dishes are Japanese-inspired... a term which we determined meant Japanese curry spices inundating the savory dishes. The Arroz Con Pato frankly tasted like (very salty) Japanese curry! Parking is a pain in the Amazon garage. There is signage to avoid getting lost, but we still saw many folks getting lost. We won't be back.

Yelp
We made reservations very far in advance. So we were already perturbed when we were seated 30 minutes past our reservation time. The hostess told us that they oversell the reservations and the restaurant becomes overcrowded. I don't find that practice acceptable at all. When we were finally seated, we were seated right by an exterior door that opened every 3 minutes and made the area very cold. Likely the worst table in the restaurant. Which is very odd for an old reservation , we should have had a premium table. Our server was knowledgable and friendly and we enjoyed him. The food itself is pretty good, but severely overpriced. The model is small plates (Tapas) however, at $40-$50 a plate, that's not going to be feasible. And the food certainly was not worth racking up a $1000+ bill whatsoever. There were people who looked like they were enjoying themselves, maybe you will too. But you might not. This place has potential, but is severely missing the mark currently.

Yelp
Great service and great food! Luxury food but worth the price for the service and atmosphere. I like the grilled japanese seabass and cake best! Uni is also great! Validated parking.

Yelp
Love love the food here, everything we sampled was so delicious. There wasn't anything that we didn't like and love! The ceviche sampler was the best! It's the best ceviche that I've tasted so far too! The raw fish and seafood was so fresh and just melts in your mouth! Just the right amount of tanginess and sweetness to it! The service was great too our server briefed us about the menu and the bar list! She went and suggested to us what to get also! The ambiance was so cool and fresh! I love the blue interiors! The presentation of the food was beyond amazing!!!! Would love to go back just for the ceviche!

Yelp
This is our fourth time dining at La Mar and we're overdue for a review! Definitely one of our all time favorite restaurants! We had the fried fish, the eggplant dish, the rice and seafood, the tuna tacos, the cebiche sampler trio and many more of their dishes and each one has been amazing! Unique flavorful sauces! Tonight's crab dish was particularly amazing too! Wow! Can't say enough. Definitely worth it, especially if you what to treat your significant other to a tasty and classy experience. For drinks, we keep coming back to their old fashioned drink. cheers!

Yelp
La Mar Cocina Peruana coming in hot!!! Decor: Chic and classy--seems like the perfect ambiance for enjoying fine Peruvian cuisine. Food: House-made chips with chimichurri sauce: A great start, setting the tone for an amazing meal. Trio of ceviche: Packed with fresh, tangy flavors that left a lasting impression. Fried langostines: Perfectly fried and tender, a clear highlight. Filet mignon lomo saltado: A well-executed take on a Peruvian classic, with standout fried potatoes. Service: Attention to detail like plate changes for every course and consistent table upkeep truly elevated the dining experience. I highly recommend La Mar Cocina Peruana as an upscale spot for drinks or a perfect date night. With its chic decor, attentive service, and fresh, high-quality Peruvian cuisine, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience.

Yelp
The live DJ in the bar plays Latino dancehall music. Our bartender steered us through our courses with pisco cocktails that paired beautifully with the citrus-forward sauces that we were about to experience. They were also knowledgeable about the ingredients and sauces that I was not familiar with making them more of a guide through this menu. So much to try. I shared a few pics below. Just know that the seafood is fresh, the dishes are Peruvian with intrinsic Japanese and Chinese notes. What touched me was the Lomo Saltado. Tenderloin, potatoes, onions sautéed in oyster and soy sauces. My mom is Filipino. I grew up with this dish, but it's called Bistek and more tart because the oyster sauce is replaced by calamansi(limes). When I was in Panglau, I enjoyed it beachside under a tree. Their Lomo Saltado reminded me that this a small, integrated, and delicious world.

Yelp
The flavors are world class but the textures of the meat were average. I could have licked the last drops of the sauce of the ceviche but the halibut had tough chewy parts. Had a slightly fishy smell, would skip the ceviche next time. The lomo saltdo was bursting with flavor but the beef had a slight toughness to the exterior. The corn bits that dotted the dishes were so interesting texturally - a special touch. The chocolate cake was heavenly, dulce de leche and what seemed like a cream cheese layer, just delightful flavors and creaminess. Enjoyed the atmosphere and service was attentive. Free parking with validation - bring your ticket with you. Entrance to the parking lot is on 105th, right behind the fedex.

Yelp
Very tasty food and nice service! The restaurant is also located in a fancy building with good environment. Highly recommend any seafood dishes, so fresh!

Yelp
La Mar Restaurant is a must-visit dining experience! The food is absolutely exquisite, with ceviches that are an absolute must-try and a lucuma mousse dessert that perfectly rounds out the meal. The service provided by Daniel was impeccable, adding a personal and attentive touch to the experience. Their pisco sour is hands down the best you'll find anywhere. The ambiance is upscale, making it an ideal setting for dates, corporate events, or celebrations. A perfect blend of exceptional cuisine, top-notch service, and a sophisticated atmosphere!

Yelp
Had a wonderful lunch today with a friend We live one block away in Bellevue It's in the amazon building Ambiance 10 star Service 10 star We had for lunch lomo salatdo out of this world!!! Kimber our server explained the dishes My friend had Arroz con Maricos It looked like a photo in a magazine! Trust me they give you a lot of food plus they give you these chips that they give you with the sauce and it is out of this world When you enter the dining room - so have a good appetite!! When you walk out the door I suggest you walk home because you are so stuffed from the quality food they serve. And I have to mention the bill was not high it was a normal bill for lunch with appetizers and a drink. This is one of my favorite places in Bellevue in the Amazon building beautiful they've only been open about a month I definitely suggest you have lunch there

Yelp
I Have Be One Thing, to go to La Mar for a while, but wanted to wait until they worked all the initial hiccups after opening. I love Peruvian food but that is not something easy to find in the Seattle area. We had reservations but still had to wait over 15 minutes to be seated. Not ideal. Once seated, our waiter Sebastian went in great detail to explain the menu. Every single thing he recommended happened to be the most expensive of its category,, which I'm thinking might not be a coincidence, but ok. We ordered a couple of drinks, and really liked their piscos. We also ordered the Tiradito sampler, lomo saltado, and arroz con mariscos. Tiradito Sampler was definitely the winner. The seafood rice had a good balance of seafood/rice, meaning it was not mostly rice, which is nice. I had high hopes for the Lomo Saltado, but found it a bit salty. The white rice with homini corn was a nice touch. Overall, it was a good experience and I will definitely come back to try those ceviches and other dishes.

Rosi A.

Yelp
This place has been in the works for a while, and it turned out to be one of those cases where it was more than worth the wait. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant yet elegant, so you can totally add La Mar as a great option not only for dressier date nights and celebrations but also business dinners. The food was amazing from start to finish. Moreover, we were also eyeing the dishes arriving at the neighboring table and noting down what to try the next time... (that fried rice in the scolding hot iron pot looked incredibly delicious). As for the dessert, one could not leave this place without trying picarones. I am yet to make my way to Peru to try to OG version but this was as legit as it gets. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and trying really, really hard to do it right. All in all, a lovely evening, and will be back many more times.

Laura F.

Yelp
Extremely attentive service. However, we went for a birthday celebration, and despite leaving a note when making the reservation, it did not get passed along to the host/server. They collect drink orders before presenting the dinner menu, so it feels obligatory to order a drink. What we ordered: Cocktail - ¡No! Capitán (3/10) - I'm not a cocktail afficionado, but this drink was extremely sweet. I did not get any acidity from the strawberry shrub, and the "sweet & dry" vermouth seemed much more sweet than dry. The green olives that it came with just didn't seem to harmonize. Cocktail - Punta Hermosa (5/10) - Not bad, nothing special. But the crushed ice and stout glass made it get watered down quickly. Tiradito - bachiche (10/10) - amazing, very citrus-y and fresh. Causa - crab (4/10) - beautiful presentation, but lacking in flavor complexity and textural variety. Dungeness crab just tasted like mayonnaise, potato puree was thick, slightly tart, and was also reminiscent of mayonnaise. Nigiris nikkei - saltado (6/10) - tasted quite simply like steak, egg, and rice. There was too little chalaca (assuming vegetable salad?) and lomo saltado sauce for those flavors to come through. Piqueos - conchas oka (8/10) - the scallop was absolutely perfect. The parmigiano reggiano foam was more like a whipped mousse than a foam, but was good nonetheless. However, it risked overpowering the scallop. Keep in mind, it is a single scallop per order. Piqueos - pulpo anticuchero (4/10) - a bit disappointed. The octopus was a bit overcooked, and the chimichurri was not acidic enough. It ended up being a bit oily and heavy. Platos - achupado (7/10) - creamy seafood pasta. But I wish the huacatay was spicy, and that there was more seafood included. It came with 1 shrimp, 1 small piece of octopus, 1 scallop, and a bite-sized piece of fish. Dessert - tres leches cake (8/10) - meringue, toasted coconut, and salted caramel ice cream were nice ways to elevate an otherwise simple dessert Dessert - chocolate lucuma (3/10) - honestly, I ordered this based on the photo they posted on Google/Yelp that was captioned "Lucuma" - It was a beautiful-looking dessert with a turquoise ball. That's not at all what we got. And the dessert itself was underwhelming. Extremely sweet and decadent. It just tasted like chocolate pudding with crispy quinoa on top. -- Would definitely like to visit again, and would probably lean more heavily into the cebiches and tiraditos, which seem more their specialty. Still, plenty of unique flavors, stunning plating, and a great opportunity to enjoy all kinds of seafood.

Yelp
Home of the $39 margarita - more on that in a bit. Interesting place to splurge (super expensive) and even better if you have a corporate expense account for client entertainment. A favorite of tech folks who like to wine and dine. My husband and I tried the "cebiche tasting" and the crab special - both flavorful, sharable and expensive ($185 for both dishes). To drink, my husband had a pisco sour ($17 and very good) while I ordered a Margarita (not on their drink menu). Server suggested Casamigos Reposado tequila. Much to my dismay when the check arrived, it cost $39. Thought it was a mistake - but alas it was not. Glad we tried La Mar but not worthy of a second visit - can't afford to be legally pickpocketed when ordering a drink.

Grace W.

Yelp
Ambiance was really nice. It was a very grown up restaurant. There were mostly adults at this restaurant so I wouldn't say this is super kid friendly. It definitely gave me adult vibes. The food was excellent. We got the tuna ceviche. One had passion fruit and another one was more like poke. We got a dish with octopus and it was very delicious. The shrimp wraps were excellent. We also ordered this chicken salad appetizer that was okay. I wouldn't say it was that outstanding. Everything was consistently delicious. The wait staff was very helpful and attentive. Portion size was on the smaller side but I guess this is what to be expected at a fancier restaurant.

Anh D.

Yelp
Food was well made, looks nice and tastes good but the seafood isn't that fresh so you can definitely feel the fishy taste with the ceviche. We went on Valentines day and the experience wasn't great. When we checked the set menu they had, there was grilled lobster dish which I was going to order tjat but when we arrived, there isnt that dish on the menu, instead, they had the duck fried rice n the eggplant dish for you to choose from on the set menu. The set menu was also up-charged so much that was ridiculous. I would not go back for any holiday. 4 dishes and 2 drinks were come up to be $416

Dominique B.

Yelp
Me and my husband went here for our anniversary. Look, I was hesitant about the price of this place, BUT the service, food and vibes were so good. I had a civiche that was truffle and fresh fish that was amazing. Also my husband has the duck and rice which was also very good. I love Peruvian food, and this place was for sure fancier than I am used to but still true to the flavors of the cuisine. Because of the price I won't be going there often, but I can 100% recommend this place for special occasions. For sure I recommend La Mar over the other upscale restaurants in Bellevue!

Kinnon W.

Yelp
La Mar lived up to all of our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the hostesses and quickly taken to our table. After settling in our server Dani was more than accommodating with our orders. If you have never had Pisco Sour this is the place to have one. That way you'll know what one should taste like the next time you are out and would like a great alternative to a margarita. The seafood is incredibly fresh and if you have any desire to try octopus, order the Planchaza La Mar, which is a hot platter of fish, prawns, and octopus with white potatoes and Incan style corn. This is truly authentic Peruvian food at its best. Aside from the fact of the food is absolutely terrific. The staff is wonderful. They made everyone feel incredibly welcome. Looking forward to going back. Finally have the Picarones for dessert!

Lisa A.

Yelp
My first time at La Mar and it was a wonderful experience! I used to go to the one in SF a lot and this location is just as good. We walked in and they were able to get us a spot at the bar right away with no reservation. The bartender serving us was a true delight and made the experience even better. We had the cebiche classico, lomo saltado, and yuca fries. I drank a pisco sour and delicious glass of red wine. Only one thing is that my boyfriend really wanted Peruvian beer and they didn't have any so would be nice if they had some next time. All in all a great experience and will definitely go back!

Iris P.

Yelp
la mar is the only truly upscale fine-dining restaurant i've been to, from the gorgeous venue, the impeccable cordial service (thank you to shavon!!), and the incredible food. we came in as a party of two during opening week. the restaurant is still ironing out some details but the intentionality is there. the pisco sour is the recommended drink of choice which was tangy and refreshing. we got the three tiraditos and each had a different flavor profile, from the citrusy seared ahi tuna reminiscent of poké, to the creamier yellowtail, each mixed textures (such as avocado with black corn chips) and had different underlying and lingering tastes. the seafood pasta was also incredible. i wasn't a big fan of the halibut but the scallop was large and tender, the shrimp was juicy, and the octopus was marinated and well-seasoned. also, complimentary taro chips were definitely a plus :) the dessert, a kabocha fritter, was a little underwhelming. the experience is definitely on the pricier end, but i'd give it five stars for the potential and i know it will only get better!

Chen Q.

Yelp
Food was excellent, but service needs some improvement, especially training around how to deal with table with children. Firstly when we came in with a stroller, the front desk person didn't guide us to the ramp and she just hopped onto the stairs. Then we had to wave down a server to ask for a high chair and the chair was quite dirty. When clearing plates on the table, the server reaches directly above our child with the heavy plates which is quite dangerous. Generally, the waiter either just stands in the corner or chatting with others. We had to wave him down to get water multiple times. We had to ask for our next dishes when we are done with the cold dishes for quite a long time. Also I feel like most guests with children may want a more rapid service, so it's best to ask if they want the dishes be served as they come out and not waiting on different courses. Especially for big groups doing family style. I just feel like the server is not very flexible and accommodating overall. The food is excellent. Flavoring is exquisite and creative. We really truly enjoy the food. We just wish that the service is on par with the great food, nice ambiance and the price.

Alethea P.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Enjoyed the lomo saltado, cebeche clasico and the tres leche cake! Would definitely come back! Amazing service, beautiful decor and great environment. It wasn't overly noisy which I loved too!
