La Marande

We stayed here two nights and elected to have the tasting menu for dinner each night. The food, as well as the presentation, was outstanding. The timing of service was perfect; we weren't rushed, but felt relaxed. Elizabeth, our host, was exceptionally helpful. We didn't have a car, and she helped us plan a 15 km trek along the Canal de Pont de Vaux for lunch. When we returned, we were able to relax with a glass of wine on the patio overlooking their beautiful grounds.

As we keep discovering the restaurants around our location, we have booked a table at La Marande. Very nice place with a large terrace, telling us that we definitely have to come back during sunny days 😀 The staff is dedicated and very helpful in guiding you through your wine selection. The menu offers different courses to accommodate your budget. The dishes are very well presented and tasty, with a strong sea product orientation. A must to try for those who enjoy tasty, light, fresh and well presented gastronomic dishes. We had the chance to discuss with the Chef Philippe Michel and his wife Elizabeth, sharing our experience and impressions. I highly recommend the restaurant La Marande, with no doubt you will be spending a very nice moment.

We enjoyed a kind of privat dinner in the Michelin rated restaurant. The service was perfect as well as the La Marande Tasting Menu. I like the wine list even if we are not so familiar with the wide range of vineyards. The place is well styled. There was piano music this evening which fits perfect to the dinner. We had in fact a supreme time here. Thx!

Culinary experience, delicious, original, special, meticulous dishes, we loved it very much, highly recommend

This is a very good place for when you get to the south and you must make a stop for the night.||The hotelroom is simple but comfortable. After a day of travelling it is great to take the meal at night. The food is just great! Every dinner course is a lovely and very tasteful surprise. And not too expensive. The staff is kind and helpful. This is a great place.

Visited a wet day end of August 2020, so was unable to take advantage of the exterior space. You eat well in this Michelin starred restaurant. Perfectly served portions, delicately presented. An excellent experience. Unfortunately the meal is let down by the wine selection offered for each part of the menu. If a certain wine is suggested the opportunity to taste before should be given. This wasn't the case. The price per glass was also expensive compared to other Michelin restaurants in the area. So room for improvement. Staff were otherwise first class.

Our room was comfortable and very stylish. The dinner was first-rate, the chef obviously knows how to select the best ingredients and how to cook them. Presentation was imaginative and pretty. I don't think you will find a better dinner in the Tournus region, well known as it is for its restaurants. The service was excellent - the couple running this restaurant with rooms are making every effort to provide the best, in food and environment. Reasonably priced for what you get - don't hesitate, go there.

Exceptional. We celebrated new years eve here. The food, as always was amazing. 7 courses, beautifully timed, cooked, presented and served by professional, attentive and friendly staff. There is a great ambiance here and the location is stunning.

Enjoyed every dishes, ambiance and service. The best in this region! Recommend the patio table if it is not too hot.
