Rosh Hashanah Restaurant Takeout in Montreal | Eater Montreal

"I note that when La Marguerite isn’t rolling sushi, kneading bread, and slinging “trendy takeout,” it’s preparing home-style meals; to ring in the Jewish New Year the caterer serves carrot salad, honey chicken, sweet couscous, lamb roast with saffron sauce and more, with set multicourse menus priced at $55, $70, or $85 per person available for local delivery or curbside pickup purchased online." - Valerie Silva

Where to Get a Passover Meal in Montreal | Eater Montreal

"Glatt Kosher La Marguerite is well-known for its refined pastries, breads, and sushi, as well as what they call “trendy takeout” — dirty fries, kosher pogos, and bao stand out — year-round. For Passover, the specialty here is moufleta, a special pancake made for Mimouna, the celebratory tradition at the end of the holiday when families go from house to house to mark the return to eating fermented and yeasted foods. Pre-ordering from this institution in Côte-Saint-Luc is a must." - Ivy Lerner-Frank

It is always such a pleasure working with La Marguerite for ALL occasions. I recently ordered an assortment of sushi along with several orders of ""Plasir Asiatik Salad" for a party. WOW! Needless to say there wasn't a piece left over. Not only was it fresh and each piece true to its description in taste but also the presentation was exquisite and no shortage of sushi accompaniments. Each order was carefully crafted in La Marguerite "pink boxes". The food as well as the presentation at the buffet was a real hit. Their website is completely intuitive and they are responsive when asking for a call back. On point for deliveries and orders! I continue to use La Marguerite for all occasions. Reliable and delicious!

Update October 2024: they have renovated the space completely. They now have a great selection of take-out and of course, their signature desserts and lots of interesting products from across the world. It’s gourmet and foodie heaven. Fantastic take out kosher food before Shabbat. They have great sushi at a reasonable price. Their foods and salads are expensive, but well worth it. I would recommend going early as the food clears out fast.

The absolute best kosher caterer in Montreal! They catered our wedding and we would have them do it over again. Delicious food, beautiful presentation, professional and courteous staff - a stress-free process from beginning to end.

La Marguerite's reputation is well earned and deserved. They catered my daughter's wedding of 300 guests last week and they executed the event flawlessly from the initial consultations to the menu planning to the event itself. We received so many compliments on every aspect of the catering. The staff were very attentive to even the smallest requests and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

Outstanding Rocher cake. The mousse is light, the chocolate is amazing. This is (hard to believe, because it’s truly delicious) a parve cake. La Marguerite: please find a store in Ottawa (kosher Loblaws on Baseline) who would carry your amazing cakes. It would be a service to the community to share your magical cakes.

My experience was absolutely perfect . Thanks to Maguy . In succession events in our family happened in such a way that without the help of a caterer on short notice we couldn’t have fulfilled our family's traditions with respect to meals.La Marguerite was there . Maguy helped with advice made sure we were ordering the right items for each occasion. The food was delicious packaged with consideration the price was respectable and plentiful and fresh. Thank you
