We booked a table at the last minute, yet everything was ready when we arrived. We were shown to our outside table and because it was December the heater was lit, add to that the sumptuous sheepskins on each chair, and there was absolutely no problem keeping warm. There were 3 menus one for drinks one for meals and one for deserts.
The waiters were attentive and helpful but not intrusive. My wife is ceoliac and this restaurant caters very well for ceoliacs, the menu is clearly marked showing what is available without gluten. The food came in very reasonable unhurried time. A small taster came, but when the waiter realised that my wife was ceoliac he brought her another gluten free taster along with some gluten free bread. The sort of touch that is appreciated. We shared a delicious warm salad with cheese and honey, I had a steak which was medium cooked some very thin chips and my wife had a monk fish and prawn dish. My steak was nice perhaps a little chewy but I'm it comparing with beautiful grass fed British beef, I would say it was very acceptable. The fish and prawn dish came sizzlingly hot, my wife said it was the hottest (caliente not picante) dish she had ever been served, a real plus as she loves piping hot food.
It was an enjoyable meal with quality ingredients with a very pleasant ambience. The cost with two glasses of wine was €70.
