04/03/24 Nice classy restaurant with dim lighting, and a menu filled with mouthwatering dishes. The pork steak goes very well with the blue cheese sauce.

Neat and cozy environment, full of guests, an eye-opening fine restaurant. The attendants were polite and competent. She actively recommended smaller portion of the dishes I ordered. It turned out to be a magnificent decision because I tended to order too much. The fried artichoke, pan-fried clams, porched eggs w/ mushroom were all great in taste and presentation. The leek and shrimp gratin pudding was a bit too much for me, but it was good as well. Wines were great. I was told that I had 1h 30m to finish during booking online. It was not hush since their serving was very efficient. The cost was unbelievably reasonable. Top-tier diet/environment with a mediocre price. Unbelievable. An unforgettable dinner at La Maruca. It is definitely a must you have to try at Madrid.

We ate well at La Maruca last night! We had the croquettes, tortilla, pan fried clams, calamari, pork several different ways and the lamb. Everything was top notch! Finished off with the cheesecake, French toast and lemon cake! Loved every bite! Service was patient with our language barrier. Definitely recommend!

A gem sitting right in the heart of Madrid. Go here for some deliciosa Spanish cuisine. Definitely try the Spanish Tortilla. Muey Bien.

We went based on the Bib Gourmand rating. Pork loin with Cabrales cheese was one of the best dishes I've had in Madrid. The greens on top helped convince me it was healthy. Cheesecake is absolutely worth a separate trip.

This northern Spain food place ticks most of the boxes for a 5 star restaurant: good quality food, elegant decor, location but it drops the ball in price and service. This is a large place and service was a bit impersonal. For example no one dared explain the menu or what the specialties were. Price wise it is quite expensive.

From a food perspective on of the best in Madrid in the normal price segment. Service varies, but you get used to it and it does not destroy the overall experience. I am a very regular customer. Croquetas, Merluza and tarta de queso are must haves :)
