Google
I had a memorable meal at Lá Me in Dallas—the Mi Quảng was fragrant and hearty, with turmeric noodles beautifully complemented by fresh herbs, shrimp, and peanuts . The portions were generous and the flavors felt authentic and comforting in every bite. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience feel warm and inviting.

Their food is so good and authentic. Delicious and humble Vietnamese food, no need for fancy frills. Best known for their Com Tham but their other delicious are also good.

Google
I‘ve tried some rice plates and they are very delicious. the price is affordable and the waiters are alway with excellent service attitude. The coffee with condensed milk is amazing!!! I‘ve heard of Vietnamese coffe for a long time. And it really doesn't disappoint me. Besides those, I also enjoyed the documentary of Vietnamese street food a lot. Please keep it.

I was invited to Lunch by my Daughter-in-law, whom is Vietnamese, to try Vietnamese Food for the First time and let me just say,"This place was delicious!" Their Spring Rolls with their oh so delicious Peanut Sauce was so good, also their egg rolls! I had pork over white rice with a Fried Egg, also Slices of Tomato and Cucumber and shredded carrots. I cleared my plate it was all so good. Our Server was very attentive. The place was nice. I most definitely will go back.

We came around closing time, and didn't realize it. They stayed open for us and the food was amazing.

Google
Food was delicious!! I've been wanting to go inside and try their food for a long time. I've previously tried their egg rolls which are unique in the sense that they use rice paper for the wrapper and fry it, giving it a different type of texture and taste than your typical egg roll you'd find at places like bistro B. Their egg rolls are delicious, perfectly crispy, and have great filling. I could definitely eat like 10 in a row. And they make them free to order so they're piping hot when they come to you, even better!!! I ordered: combination pho (pho Dac Biet), shaken beef rice (com bo buc lac), com tam 7 mon (rice with 7 different items/meat), bun Dac Biet 5 Mon (vermicelli with 5 meats), and their Vietnamese coffee. I would say their Vietnamese coffee was ok, but I've had better. The pho was delicious and the broth was so flavorful. I would say it's comparable to pho bac! They gave plenty of meat and the quantity was large for such a great price! The rice dishes were good and again, had plenty of juicy meat. The Vermicelli was CRAZY how much they gave!!! Honestly this one was totally worth it. It was so much my family couldn't finish it and even brought the rest to go home. There were so many noodles and lots of meat, such a great deal. It came with an egg roll which was mouth salivating. I 100% am coming back and I've already recommended them to many people. If you try one thing from them, it's gotta be their egg rolls!

Google
My pho was delicious! Great service y lots of choices on the menu. The restaurant is clean n wait staff is very friendly.

Google
Great tasting meals. The vermicelli and egg rolls w fish sauce was surprisingly really good! Their fish sauce is not too strong, not overpowering the dish. The restaurant is very outdated but hopefully w a little spurring up it will attract more volume since their food was good.

Yelp
Stopped here while I was going back to Houston. We were going to try another restaurant nearby, but the other restaurant was closed. We saw this place nearby and decided to give it a try. There's a huge parking lot so there is no worry about parking. Upon entry, the restaurant looked a bit cramped. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant. Ordering was easy and did not take long. The food was alright. Nothing too crazy. My main issue was cleanliness. While being served the food, the server's fingers went into the soup bowl more than once. The price of everything was a bit pricy for the portion. After we were done eating, my husband wanted to go use the restroom. The door was locked when he went tried to go. We asked the cashier if we needed a key to go in, and she said no. Apparently someone was in there despite there being only us and another table nearby. We waited for a while, but no one came out and the other table left after checking out. I do not think I would come back.

Yelp
Been going here for 5 years and it is still the most reliable Viet restaurant in Dallas area. Every dish on the menu is great, regardless of regional cuisines. Pricing is also very affordable. The only tip is: be careful with the Vietnamese coffee here. It is too authentic, it is VERY STRONG the same way in Vietnam.
google avatar

Yelp
I was really heart broken when they let know, Banh Mi's are no longer on their menu! This used to be one of my favorite places to grab some grilled pork Banh mi... I am not sure if anything else would ever bring me back

Foto N.

Yelp
The taste was good, recommended. The restaurant was clean and fresh. Staff was friendly and respectful One thing I was uncomfortable was the price. The portion of noodle included was pretty small. They charged me 3 bucks for an extra one which I found expensive.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by La Me in Richardson and decided to try the Hu Tieu Nam--definitely a solid choice! The broth was super flavorful, light but still packed with umami. The mix of pork and seafood was fresh, and the noodles had a nice chew to them. Service was quick and friendly, and the place had a cozy, no-frills vibe. If you're craving a good bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup, this spot is worth checking out!
google avatar

Armando D.

Yelp
They serve delicious Vietnamese food, fairly authentic and reasonably priced. Usually takes away with their egg rolls, noodle soup, and flan. They tend not to be very attentive, but then the place was filled with just two people handling everything.

Yelp
Don't go for the customer service LOL. We went on a cold rainy day. Thought it was a good day for some pho. Sad to say that they don't offer chicken options for any of the dishes. This makes it very hard to dine there if you don't or can't eat beef, pork, or shellfish. Anyway, my daughter got the #125 which was a fried chicken appetizer, but it looked like a full meal when they brt it out. It was 1/2 a small chicken fried on a bed of rice and sliced veggies on the side. She was hungry and said it was okay. I got the Bun Cha Thit Nuong without the THK. It wasn't special. The grilled pork was ok. It came with 2 summer rolls. That were pretty good. I got 2 spring rolls that I don't recommend. I'm glad I got to go, but I won't return.

Jolie C.

Yelp
Favorite spot for eggrolls! I've been coming here for years and always order the egg rolls which are literal perfection. Service is quick and friendly.

Yelp
I've lived in SoCal, NorCal, the PNW and visited Vietnam, and I absolutely love Vietnamese food. This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've been to anywhere. Every item I've had on the menu is great and the selection is excellent.
google avatar

Minly L.

Yelp
If you REALLY like shrimp this may be the place for you. A lot of the dishes here are shrimp forward, and just filled with it. The vermicelli noodles were good, I was not blown away but still a good. Personally, the Mi Quang noodles just tasted like shrimp paste in water-this could just be a novice opinion. Service was meh, and interior is mildly cute.
google avatar

Phuc N.

Yelp
Coming from Vietnam and California, is this one of the best cơm tấm I ever had in my life. I had the cơm tấm 7 món aka broken rice with 7 topping. Service was also GREAT! Bathroom is clean and the restaurant is very clean.
google avatar

Wendy S.

Yelp
Staff were friendly and welcoming. We're from out of town so had quite a few questions about the menu. The food was pretty average. My fave was probably the egg rolls then banh canh and last is the bun bo hue. None of the dishes really threw awed me.
google avatar

Yelp
Came in with my giant family of 6, ordered some of everything, and devoured it all like there was no tomorrow. \\ bo luc lac - grilled beef that's tender and savory - comes with rice and veggies \\ pho - a hearty huge bowl of fragrance and deliciousness - scrumptious for every season but especially perfect for a chilly February day - choose any combo of meat options - comes with a generous platter of the usual fresh staples--basil, lime, bean sprouts \\ vermicelli bowl - simultaneously tangy and savory and a hint of sweet, this is the definition of fresh Would go again!!
google avatar

Yelp
We're from out of town and been touring around different Viet restaurants to try out. This place is made to our highly recommendation list. Despite the outdated look of restaurant, the foods taste delicious and authentic. The fried rice is a must-try item. Vietnamese coffee is strong but so good. Prices is lower than other places, but doesn't make food portion less. Thumbs up!
google avatar

Cindy N.

Yelp
I hate to do this to a restaurant because I genuinely do like their mi quang (my fav thing here!) and egg rolls, but on the third time I ate here, I saw baby cockroaches on my table and a big cockroach on the wall. I lost my appetite to eat after that. I haven't been back since. I miss their mi quang though.
google avatar

Liz C.

Yelp
The service is good and the place is clean. I had the seafood fried rice and my mom had the shrimp pho. I wish the rice portion was a bit bigger, but it was flavorful and had about two of each (shrimp, scallops and calamari). The pho was a bit fishy in smell, but was good in flavor. They give you a small dessert drink.
google avatar

Trang Q.

Yelp
Sooo good and consistent! We've been coming here for a long time. Their Mì Quảng is my absolute favorite! Their egg rolls = WOW!
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
Great place to get some quick Vietnamese food. I love their rice dishes and I was craving bún riêu which is a crab/tomato noodle soup. I probably wouldn't get their bún riêu again it was okay, but I would order their rice dish again. Food was quick and this spring rolls with peanut sauce are good as well.

Jenny T.

Yelp
No ambiance but great food and my favorite Vietnamese take out! We love this place and go almost once a quarter!
google avatar

Benjamin C.

Yelp
Update: It's sad that the quality of the food here has declined so significantly. We ordered the Mi Quang, a previous favorite and the noodles were over cooked and broken into small pieces, flavor lacking, just salty, and the rice sesame cracker tasted burned. The dry combination hu tieu was still good, which is why they still get the 3-stars. Service was terribly inattentive when there were only four tables seated. Highly disappointed.

Yelp
I was so excited to take mom to La Me on a Sunday morning. It was one of the few authentic VN restaurants I wanted mom to try during her visit from Louisiana. Wow, never have I seen a restaurant do a 180 for the worst after new management. Every single soup-based dish we ordered were bland. Even hoisin sauce, sriracha, nor fish sauce could help salvage our meal. Also, the peanut sauce that goes with the spring rolls were watered down. It was flavorless water. Nowhere close to the rich, thick, peanut sauce it was meant to be. Honestly, it couldn't get any worse. I don't think this place will be able to make a comeback. Once all the regulars have come and go, they will not be returning, us included.

Yelp
La Me is anything but lame. This is in the same complex as Bistro B. Unassuming, hole in the wall spot that gets lots of visitors flowing through. This place is the spot to go if you're craving viet noodles and you're in the Garland area (because let's be honest, why else would you be there?) What we've gotten: - Mi Quang: One of their specialties - tumeric noodles, assortment of seafood. Had to try it, especially if its one of their specialties! Definitely something different, but delicious nonetheless. A winner here - 98B Mi Kho Dac Biet aka house special dried noodle: Another one of the house specials. This is THE dish to get. Dried egg noodles (soup on the side) with an assortment of protein (shrimp, pork, bbq pork, etc.) Deliciousness in a bowl The staff makes sure to get you your orders quick, even though they're busy. This is one of those places that I've experienced a wait on a random weekday late lunch, so be prepared. They make sure to get you your food quick, though!
google avatar

Vinh L.

Yelp
The pho here is one of the best I've had. That's saying a lot in the Richardson/Garland area given all the great pho places around here. Their Bánh hỏi thịt nướng is pretty amazing too. Highly recommend this place if you're a Vietnamese food snob.
google avatar

Tony P.

Yelp
La Me is a hole in the wall restaurant. The prices for the Pho / Hu Tieu are reasonable at ~$8-9 a dish. The broths for both soups were flavorful. The Hu Tieu came with both egg/rice noodles. The amount of additions to the soups were plentiful with the amount of noodles. The staff were friendly and patient while we scanned our options. They were attentive and responded in a timely manner if we needed anything. Overall, I would definitely come back

Lian C.

Yelp
Authentic Food! And they have the best congee! Whenever I am sick, this is the place i order for pick up!
google avatar

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Small restaurant, limited seating. But every table was full during lunch which was a good sign. This place is known for some Central Vietnam dishes. Ordered the banh beo for an appetizer and they were good. Wish they put mung bean paste on them. Ordered mi quang and it was okay. Not as good as my mom's but still good. I would come back to try more of their extensive menu. Their ches look delicious
google avatar

Angel N.

Yelp
We came here because of the food reviews but we were very underwhelmed and disappointed. The only dishes we liked were the egg rolls and the rice dish with grilled pork. The spring rolls were small and the veggies in it were yellow and old tasting. The rest of us ordered noodle broths and they were all too bland. The bun Bo hue needed satay and the hieu thieu and banh canh looked so sad with their lack of toppings. They didn't even come with the advertised crab. The banh canh was also very fishy.
google avatar

Nick N.

Yelp
They've take. Away the personal club soda that goes with soda chanh muoi. Hands down was the best soda chanh muoi in town but now they use a big liter bottle and it was flat because I got the last bit of it. Don't recommend unless you're the first pour. Prices have gone up as well so check your menu. I ordered the bo luc lac several times and always overcooked. You have to remind them mr. I feel like the portions have gotten smaller again. Or it's a hit or miss place. I've been missing a lot hahaha
google avatar

Vivian N.

Yelp
Despite experiencing slow service, we remain loyal to the restaurant for their delicious food. My go-to dish is the Mi Quang, although the noodles were undercooked during our last visit. Nonetheless, the broth was still enjoyable. We also ordered a coconut drink, which was good, but it had lots ice so it didn't take long to finish.
google avatar

Hanna P.

Yelp
Used to be good but not anymore because original owners sold the place. The new owners went through a transition period but after that it seemed like they had the hang of it. But now they lost their way and all they care about is being flashy like Bistro B with their too big tv in their tiny restaurant. There is no focus on the food anymore just fluff. They give you twice the volume of their fish sauce mix but what good is it when it tastes like water? People went there because their food was the best but don't see a reason to go there anymore.

Yelp
Heard great things about La Me so I had to try this place myself. Authentic vietnamese restaurant and one of my top vietnamese restaurants in DFW so far. Ordered the following: Mi Quang - vietnamese tumeric noodles from Quang Nam, comes with sesame rice crackers on the side Bun Cha Ha Noi - Hanoi style vermicelli and grilled pork patties Cha Goi - Egg rolls, Mung Bean Smoothie - it's not really a smoothie, more like mung bean milk juice with lots of ice... they put too much ice and not enough liquid. ask them to reduce the ice so they can fill it up more (not sure if they will but doesn't hurt to try) The place was pretty packed during peak lunch hour, almost to full capacity. Restaurant did not space the tables 6 feet apart.... which was concerning. Luckily my girlfriend and I got a corner area, kept our masks on at all times until our food came out and put it back on when we were done. (-1 star for that)
google avatar

Hollie M.

Yelp
Poor customer service. Rude. I called to order to go. The owner hung up on me twice. I drove to them 20+ min away to be told I could only order soup and spring rolls as they were closing in 15 min. The spring rolls were miniature and didn't even have noodles in them. I ordered beef broth and it tasted like sweet chicken broth. What happened to customer service and satisfaction? Most restaurants serve until closing and THEN they clean up and shut things down. NOT this place. If I was witty enough I would have let them prepare my food and treat him the way he treated me and said "no thanks....I don't want it now" but I'm much too kind to do that
google avatar

Yelp
I've been craving some hu tieu since the weather these days have been a bit rainy and I have been getting tired of pho so me and a friend decided to check this place out since it seems to be popular for not just pho but the hu tieu. I came and it's a medium sized place resturant that feels kinda cozy inside. Workers greet you and seat you down and give you the menu and take your drink order like normal. I was looking at the menu and these turmeric noodles looked really really good.. I was so tempted and since it's a new place I decided to try it. Oh man it looked and smelled amazing as it came out. It also came with fried sesame seed rice paper and 2 thai chili peppers. Those peppers are SPICY... do not just bite into it without caution.. Anyways back to the noodles.. man it was so good.. I realized there was a BED of bean sprouts under the noodles and it was ALOT. I think next time I'll ask for the bean sprouts on the side cause it was wayy too much for me. But pretty good because I like my bean sprouts kinda cooked and it cooked well with the broth under the noodles. Definitely will be back if I am in the area. I wish it was closer cause I would come often haha.

Yelp
I'm new to the neighborhood and I'm looking for a great restaurant that serves pho. Of course I had to try this place since it has "great reviews". I was sadly disappointed. From the beginning of placing my order over the phone, they basically were out of almost everything I wanted. I wanted chicken pho, Thai tea with boba, and spring rolls. They were out of chicken pho & boba. So I settled for raw beef pho, Thai tea without boba, & spring rolls. Upon arrival my order wasn't ready and the place definitely is a "hole in the wall", it even looks like it would have health violations. Needless to say I won't be going back. There are too many competitors around that I would rather try, then to waste my time & money at this place again.
google avatar

Mia D.

Yelp
My brother took me here and I absolutely love this joint! Authentic Vietnamese food and reasonable prices! As with many Vietnamese restaurants, the menu here is robust! I loved the variety but my brother ordered for us as he's a regular here & said not everything is good lol We had the shaking beef, bun bo hue and a pork dish with grilled shrimp that we made into a spring roll. I definitely love it here and have every intention of coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
My lovely spouse treats me to a pedicure about once a month. I got to chatting with my Vietnamese technician about this and that. The topic of food came up and I admitted a particular joy in Pho--Pho Tai to be exact. We both agreed that one famous Vietnamese restaurant in Richardson was a go to. Luckily, Jun came up with La Me as a good alternate. Cutting to chase; she was absolutely correct. A couple of things stood out upon our arrival. The immediate attention to setting us and taking our drink order. They gave us a chance to peruse the extensive menu--the pix are not all the pages of the menu. I already knew what I wanted. I still got caught up in studying my options. We ordered and within a very short amount of time we were served with all the accouterments. My first taste sealed the deal. Because of a very restrictive diet where I lost 60 lbs (yes, I'm bragging), I had not enjoyed a pho for some time. There was only one size to choose from. I didn't finish all the soup but everything else was scarfed up like it was my last meal. The egg rolls were delicious as well. We really didn't need the rolls but I'm very glad we ordered them. Quick, easy, and painless plus excellent pho. Put La Me on your "gotta try" list. It may not be as grand as the restaurant I eluded to earlier but the food was in the running. After all, it is about the food--at least my POV. Happy eating!
google avatar

Brenda N.

Yelp
Delicious broth! They were out of the pork meat. Quail eggs didn't taste fresh. Overall good flavors. Recommend it!
google avatar

James Z.

Yelp
Our favorite vietnamese restaurant in DFW, which is saying a lot. They are known for their rice and rice noodle dishes. It's packed every weekend and with good reason. I usually go for the #39 or #48. The menu is big but really most of it is just variations of the same dish. What really sets them apart is the quality of the toppings. The shrimp cake, egg roll, shrimp, grilled meats, everything is awesome and comes out fresh. Service is pretty efficient and attentive for how busy it is
google avatar

Brittany E.

Yelp
I used to love the Vietnamese food here, but lately it seems like they have just given up. This is the second time I have ordered the pork, shrimp, and egg roll plate and left with just a shrimp patty and some egg rolls. There is no excuse for a restaurant not checking the food that's in the to go box. I shouldn't have to worry about whether my whole meal will be in the box. If this had happened just once I would excuse it. But this is the second time. Charging full prices and shorting people on food is just deceptive. If you didn't have any pork, just let customers know so that they can choose to go elsewhere.
google avatar

Keri B.

Yelp
Casual environment, lots of family eating. Minimal wait time. There is plenty of staff to help bring out food and check people out.
google avatar

Lisa L.

Yelp
We ordered $89 worth of food for 4 people because we ate with our eyes and everything sounded so good. Hands down the best thing we got was our 3 orders of ban beo!! I've only ever had my mom's version, and La Me's is sooooo good. I like that the Nuoc mam (fish sauce) wasn't too watered down. The peppers were spicy which was great. 10/10 would come here just to order these. The combination chao (rice porridge) was another favorite. I would come again just to order it. There was so much flavor and meat. Highly recommend if you're feeling something light and refreshing! Their bun bo hue was really disappointing. The broth lacked in flavor and just tasted like fish sauce. However, they give so much meat which is a plus. My friend got the vermicelli bowl with grilled shrimp which was really good. The bo loc lac was alright. The fried egg rolls were tasty and very crispy. I'd recommend getting these if you're looking for an appetizer! They also have a big variety of drinks. I tried the corn milk which was a little heavy and too creamy. Their flan was okay. I felt like it wasn't gelatinous enough and the syrup was very overpowering.
google avatar

Calily B.

Yelp
Great selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes. The service was fast and friendly when we went, which is unusual for a busy Viet place. The banh beo had a good texture and the cracklins were the perfect size. I also had the mi quang and it was a huge bowl! Tasty bits of pork, 3 shrimp and plenty of lettuce at the bottom. My sister liked her banh canh and my friend's go-to is their bun bo hue. Overall a great place for other dishes besides pho!
google avatar

Chuck L.

Yelp
Updating again, this was a Sunday afternoon at 4ish. Called for pickup and the young guy that took my order was very helpful cause I forgot the names of my dishes and didn't have the menu in front of me. I also had to change an order and they were very accommodating to do so at the last minute. Also helps to mention there was non one in the place. But the food is always solid, the service can be hit or miss but today it was great
google avatar

Kat H.

Yelp
I've eaten here at least 5-10 times now before writing this. I usually get to go. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but Ive had almost every pho in this plaza and so far La Me has been my favorite. The spring rolls and sauce has been my favorite so far in the plaza as well. I wish they would give hoisin and sriracha sauce to go without me asking because I forget to ask (most places just include). I haven't tried other dishes yet but I'll probably try something new next time I go in
google avatar

Tri T.

Yelp
10/1/2020 Still the best rice plate in DFW area. It will be hard to beat La Me rice game!
google avatar

Yelp
While we like the Vietnamese restaurants near where we live, most of the places nearby cater more towards the American palate and the family wanted something authentic. So we drove down to La Me to check it out after we discovered that they had dishes that we couldn't get closer to where we live. Hubby was super happy with his mi quang. The kid liked her pho; broth was nice and beefy, with a lovely rich aroma. I ended up having the bun cha which was damn good, with a nice smokey char on the meat. YUM. Sadly, they no longer have banh beo, which is one of my favorite dishes. Likewise, I was not impressed with their nem nuong -- the pork roll itself was fine but was hoping that it came with a sauce more like the ones from SoCal's Brodard chain. Alas, it did not, and instead came with the peanut sauce that you normally get with other spring rolls. Not a deal-breaker but not what I was hoping for. Sad. All in all, this was a solid place with authentic food and the prices were good too.

Yelp
La Me is a long standing Vietnamese restaurant. I myself have been here a couple times. I prefer going to Vietnamese restaurants that specialize in certain dishes. La Me is more about the variety they serve rather than the quality. You can often find that restaurants that don't specialize in a certain dish will have "shortcuts", meaning one item used in one dish will likely be in another dish resulting in bland/generic flavors. The good items are pho and hu tieu. These two broths have very unique flavors. The pho contains the aromas iconic to a good broth. The hu tieu has hints of seafood that rounds out the broth well. My complaints are dishes I believe they could've gone without on their menu such as the Bun Bo Hue and Mi Quang. Bun bo hue is a beef noodle soup with strong lemon grass notes. The bun bo hue had too much shrimp paste which is the ultimate red sign of a quick bun bo. Lemon grass and a strong beef flavor are what you're looking for in a good bun bo, this lacked both in depth. Mi quang is notoriously known for the bright turmeric color rice noodles in a deep seafood broth with sautéed pork and shrimp. The mi quang had all the makings to be great, but lacked in execution. There was entirely too much broth and the bean sprouts outnumbered the noodles. Mi quang is not meant to be a soup, but rather a simmered sauce to dress the noodles. If there was less soup, the flavors from the sautéed pork would be stronger and flavor the dish better. The shrimp was just boiled. In this authentic dish, the shrimp (heads and all) is sautéed with the pork to marry in flavor. You can tell shrimp is boiled here to be put in dishes like Hu Tieu and whatever else they put shrimp in. Overall, it would be a good introduction to some of Vietnam's iconic dishes, but doesn't not give the name of these dishes justice.

Yelp
Wow I go to La Me for a decent amount of times and I haven't written a review yet! How dare I! Anyway, hands down best Viet restaurant in dallas. They LITTERALLY have everything you can think of and the best part is that they don't half ass all the dishes!

Unha K.

Yelp
La me is one of the best Viet spot in Dallas. It's not the same level of tier as California and Houston's viet spots. But this is decent enough for the fix. This viet place is more northern style so it's new to me. The bo luc lac is fantastic! It's better than Bistro B's. Their other lemongrass beef dish is good as well. We often get the flan, che ba mau , and yogurt too. The che is a bit sweet but good.
