LA’s Newest Sports Destination Free Play Is a Game Day Dining Oasis - Eater LA

"The expansive new Free Play lands just above the recently-opened food hall The Fields, which itself is attached to the shiny new near-Downtown stadium, right by the Coliseum and all things USC." - Farley Elliott

The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is hands down the most iconic stadium in college football! Watching a USC game here feels like being part of a living history book. It’s the only place in the world to have hosted two (soon to be three!) Summer Olympics, two Super Bowls, and a World Series. The 2019 renovations are incredible—the new Scholarship Tower adds modern luxury with the 1923 Club rooftop, yet the stadium still retains its historic soul. Walking through the majestic Peristyle at the east end and seeing the Olympic cauldron lit is a spiritual experience for any sports fan. Whether you’re cheering on the Trojans or just taking a historic tour, the "Greatest Stadium in the World" never fails to impress with its scale and grandeur. Fight On!

Google
Been to this stadium so many times to see my USC Trojans play. The last time was vs Northwestern. Such a great stadium. Easy walk from the USC campus. Plenty of places to get food and drink inside and outside of the stadium. Great seats. Huge scoreboards. So much history in this stadium. Loved my visit and cannot wait to return again.

Went for USC vs. Northwestern game and it was a blast. I loved what they did with the lights and the halftime drone show. It was a nice stadium that seats a lot but the prices were outrageous. Parking was $160 and drinks from $17 to $19. Overall a great experience you just have to pay to play.

Google
A memorable night at the Coliseum! It was such a fun experience watching the USC Trojans take on the Wildcats at the Coliseum! The energy in the stadium was incredible. They even had a drone show, a great victory ending, and an amazing performance by the college band. The whole atmosphere made the game even more exciting. Overall, a fantastic night of college football — can’t wait to come back!

Google
Historic yet convenient stadium. Was there for 26 MLS opening match LAFC vs Inter Miami. Sonny vs Messi. Lafc won by 3-0.

Google
An amazing stadium venue. Historic and iconic. Would be nice if the stadium filled like other college football stadium around the country but this LA and sports in LA means arrive late, leave early and watch part it'll the game. The student section always goes strong and so do the real fans unfortunately that's not enough to pack this stadium unless a power house is visiting and even then it doesn't stay full. One day when SC returns to glory hopefully so will the revamped Coliseum.

Google
A great historical landmark to watch USC football (and the Olympics, remembering 1984). I’d give it five stars if the CFC crowd control people were better trained and more polite, but it really is an amazing venue.

Google
The LA Coliseum is truly one of the most iconic stadiums in the country, and finally getting to experience it in person was a bucket list moment. The history here is incredible—you can feel it the moment you walk in. I was fortunate enough to sit in one of the Scholarship Club suites, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Comfortable seating, great views, and top-notch amenities made it unforgettable. The only thing that wasn’t enjoyable? Watching Lincoln Riley run up the score against my MSU Bears—but that’s hardly the Coliseum’s fault. If you’re a sports fan or just love historic venues, the LA Coliseum is a must-visit.

Yelp
It is pretty hard to park here but after finding parking and going in the stadium is beautiful. They have ample amounts of bathrooms. Everytime I went the bathroom was also clean. I feel like this really made it a five star experience since most of the time it isn't like that.

Yelp
I feel the duty to update this review after USC renovated the Coliseum from 2018 to 2019. I attended one Notre Dame-USC game during the renovation (in 2018--final score: 24-17 to cap an undefeated regular season for the Fighting Irish), and it was really kind of creepy how they had the construction cranes leaning over the walls and over the the stadium seats. Specifically in the pregame safety video, they pointed out that the cranes might move during the game in order to position them safely for changes in wind direction. I guess this was meant to be reassuring so that people didn't freak out if they saw a crane moving, but it just made me more nervous about the entire thing. There was no Notre Dame-USC game in 2020, due to COVID, so when I arrived at our normal garbage-no-view-why-do-they-even-put-people-here Notre Dame-alumni-lottery section at the 2022 game, I was downright shocked--shocked!--to see that the old deteriorating benches had been replaced by individual seats. You heard that right, friends; USC did its visiting fans a backhanded solid by giving us seats! Now, they could be like Notre Dame and actually provide decent seats in their 5,000-seat visitors allotment, but it's USC, remember? They're an awful school with an awful reputation of hiring awful people. (Read Bad City by Paul Pringle if you ever want to learn about just how bad USC is.) But a seat is a seat, and I was happy to have a place to sit. Does the addition of individual seats raise the starrage? Not one bit. Sorry, but the Coliseum is still a dump. I don't have any high hopes for what they'll do to renovate it for the 2028 Olympics, and I really wish it still had a track so that they could have all the track-and-field events here, but that's physically impossible now.

Yelp
Parking is limited, but we found a great spot by arriving almost 2 hours earlier for our event. In addition, make sure to only bring clear backpacks or bags if you're bringing anything or a clutch smaller than 6" inches... as there is a clear bag policy. It was hot waiting outside to get in, but you can find shade. The colosseum is a great place to watch games. My partner and I came for MTV's The Challenge Eras Meet and Greet Event. It was hot, but we got some cool breezes throughout the colosseum. We had a lot of fun!

Yelp
Beautiful, historic Coliseum. It was a great place to see my Penn State Nittany Lions squeak out an overtime come-from-behind win over the USC Trojans. Good views from most seating areas. Didn't care for $20 beers $10 waters and overpriced food, but that's what it is in 2024. As an older venue, it could use some upgrades and that should happen in advance of the upcoming Olympic Games.

Yelp
I love going to the Coliseum to watch my USC Trojans play football. I have been very fortunate to get great seats and see the action on the field. We came in for a Friday night game vs Rutgers and we won 42-20. There was a drone show and love the lighting that they include in the stadium and festivities!! It is an awesome atmosphere. Fight On!!
google avatar

Dennis V.

Yelp
So, this weekend we went to the USC vs Rutgers game and ordered some hot dogs, as I normally do at the Galen Center. Wow! These were the worst tasting, dried out, hard-bunned hot dogs I ever had! The State health department needs to come in and see what the heck is going on here! It is really disgusting!!

Yelp
Came here for a concert and it was such a great time. Easy parking access, the part before the courtyard becomes a marketplace, and the sound for the stages are really cool. It's nice to be part if events at a historical landmark
google avatar

Mayi B.

Yelp
They consistently host great events, and the Fred Again concert I attended was incredible! Parking is limited, so it's best to arrive early to explore your options.
google avatar

Troy H.

Yelp
I always enjoy coming to this location for different events. They have a wide range of events that occur at this location so from the food to the seating it's a great choice to enjoy. Also the convenient location walking distance to the park allows you to get some nature enjoyment as well. Parking can be on the street or an adjacent public parking lot. If you do not feel like driving, then take metro and you will be dropped within walking distance to the location.

Yelp
March 26 2024 Argentina's Selección Nacional faces off in a friendly gainst Costa Rica Messi's hamstring is out of commission... BUT ... Di Maria is in full effect We came to the stadium but not before stuffing our faces at EL HUERO a few blocks down on Figueroa... I always get the Fajita Burrito ; Quesadilla; and Taco Dorado to reconnect to my Trojan roots... This is the Coliseum were we watch the Trojans win their Heismann's in... where Metallica opened for Gun's and Roses in the early 90's and made Axl Rose so mad when his fans were booing them after their set performance that he promised NEVER to play in LA Again... Well not a lot has changed since then... GUNS N ROSES are back together again IN LA... the Trojans are still at the Coliseum... and The RECENTLY CROWNED THREE TIME World Champions ...ARGENTINA are gracing the LA Stage for the first time after their 3rd WORLD CUP WIN...!!! In 2023... Wasn't gonna miss this for the WORLD... "THE WORLD CHICO!!!" "AND EVERYTHING IN IT" Di Maria scores his 30th goal for LA SELECCIÓN...but not without being down 1-0 after the first half by a Costa Rica costly counter attack... then the barrage of goals set in ... Angel Di Maria ; McCallister ; and Lautaro Martínez get on the board for a final tally of 3-1 after the second half...Julian Alvarez and De Paul; Tagliafico; Enzo Fernandez; Lo Celso; Garnacho ; Molina; Romero; Otamendi; Benitez...the whole team minus Messi and Dibu...are practically here tonight... A classic Night of Futbol !!! There are no friendlies in Soccer...but this is a friendly... wasn't played like one... We were enjoying this game with a couple of close friends... a couple of Modelos... and a Panchito (Hot Dog) ... that's Argentinian slang for Hot Dog... Couldn't ask for a more perfect night...

Yelp
Visited for Meduza and James Hype's show back in February. The sound quality was top-notch, with clear acoustics that amplified the beats and energy of both sets. The lighting and visual effects were spectacular, transforming the iconic stadium into a pulsating dance haven. Despite the large crowd, the event was well-organized, with efficient entry processes and ample space for dancing and mingling. The atmosphere was vibrant and electric. While the venue's grandeur added to the overall experience, some logistical issues like long lines at the food and beverage stalls could be improved. Nevertheless, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum delivered a memorable night of music and entertainment, making it a prime choice for large-scale EDM events.

Yelp
I've been here several times for USC games and I've never had any issues. I've always parked at one of the lots at USC, walked the campus and then walked over to the Coliseum. The food items and drinks inside are obviously overpriced but there are plenty of outside vendors selling some of those same food and drinks at cheaper prices. The workers at the front gates have always been super friendly and extremely nice, and they're fast as well although I'm not sure if they're actually checking items and persons. Also, I know some workers are more lenient than others but per Coliseum guidelines - clear bags are the way to go. I've never had problems using the restrooms as there are a ton of stalls and I've never waited long for food or drink as most of the booths are open. There are ample workers as every direction I turned there was someone who could help if I needed. I will say the higher you are, the steeper the steps so be very careful and cautious. At the last game I did see an older woman unfortunately fall but she was okay! Also, there is no smoking or vaping at all, we saw a couple of guys get in trouble for it and there are obvious signs posted. There's also a store inside the Coliseum that has all your USC needs, I recommend getting a seat cushion. It was a life saver!

Yelp
Super Motocross Finals on 9-23-23... I didn't exactly know what this was about! My friend, Tora, asked me if I could use 4 free tickets that her friend, Vic, had won. I told her that I could ask around and find people to go with me. Thanks to Craig, Niki, and Vince for helping me out! One of the obstacles was parking. We followed GPS and signs for "Event Parking". We found metered stalls on Vermont Avenue and walked a few blocks to the entrance of Exposition Park. It was better than walking 0.6 miles and paying $60. Online, parking was about $32 with purchase of event tickets. Our seats were quite good. We were in Section 101, Row 27, seats 1 to 4. There were some benefits to being in the aisle... except when people came late and when they wanted to leave for the restroom and/or snacks/beverages. The show was interesting. I didn't know that a track for dirt bikes could be so complex! There were many hills, curves, and bumps. Some riders fell off their bikes. One got injured and needed to be wheeled off the course. The race started again in a staggered pattern so that the ones in the front would keep their slight lead. There was a race for 7 - 8 year olds, and one for younger children! The restrooms were adequate. I went during the end of a break so that it wasn't too crowded. That's when I saw the back end of the track, and we could get closer... and some dirt kicked up at us when the riders came around the corner quickly! We saw the 1932 Olympics information on the wall, and the banners that paid tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech here at the LA Memorial Collesium in 1964! Note: There's a clear bag policy. Purses/wallets are allowed if they are smaller than the length of a hand. Plastic gallon-sized bags are also allowed. Thanks to Tora and Vic for the tickets!!! I enjoyed this historical venue!

Yelp
I came here for a Mexico soccer game and it was great! I had not been to the stadium in a while but we had a great time. They offer free WiFi and had a quick entrance. We did not have to wait more than 2 minutes to get in as they had multiple gates open. The barcode is scanned on one of their machines that lets you in so that is pretty nice. Like with any game there were fights so security should have been prepared as a fight lasted more than 10 min until security arrived. That was my only con. The bathroom lines went by very quickly as well and had plenty of staff available.

Yelp
The Greatest Stadium in the World and home to the USC TROJANS! Since the remodel, the internet and calling ability is awesome! No problems. Weird thing is, the seats are a little bigger, but I feel the old stadium seats were more comfortable?! They have Beer and Food booths at every turn. Sound and Video Boards are second to none! The Coli is truly SC's now. FIGHT ON!

Yelp
5 Stars all day! I've been a loyal visitor to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for over 40 years, and it remains an iconic destination for sports and entertainment. The venue's versatility is a major draw, hosting everything from memorable college football games and exhilarating monster truck shows to thrilling motocross events, concerts, pro football, and even the Olympics. Nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, it offers an unforgettable backdrop for the USC Trojans, one of the most outstanding football teams ever. The convenience of ample parking and the unique presence of the space shuttle and dinosaurs nearby add to the venue's allure. The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is undeniably a place full of memories and an integral part of the city's culture.

Yelp
Fight on!!!! What more then that do ya need to know! This history this stadium holds from Olympic Games, Dodgers baseball when they first came from Brooklyn NY, LA Rams and USC Trojans!! Parking has stepped up too with offsite lots and structures with shuttles! It's makes it a breeze getting to and from!!

Yelp
I came here for a USC game. It's the first football game that I've been to in...well, I can't remember. Possibly it's the first game I've been to since college! We parked offsite and were able to prepay. Then we walked over for the game. Getting in was easy enough and we were handed free Yakult drinks to try on our way in. I wasn't sure that was allowed, so I downed both of them before entering. I didn't try any of the stadium food. We ended up getting various fry concoctions from one of the trucks lining the inside. My friend said we should get the bucket of mini cookies, but we were kind of full after the fries and didn't want to wait in line anyway. Maybe next time. There are a lot of bathrooms, and they are relatively clean. The seats are so tiny, though! My friend is a bigger guy, and it just wasn't enough room. There was another guy later on complaining about the same thing. He had to put his legs over the seat in front of him to fit. I get that they want to have as many seats as possible, but if you're tall or stocky, be prepared to be squished. Our seats were behind the goal post and we got shade early on. That was definitely a plus. I had so much fun at the game and thought the Coliseum was great!
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
For a venue that celebrated its centennial anniversary this summer (Born 1923), the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is definitely holding its own. Yes, the seats are snug, parking is a pricy somewhat sketchy nightmare, and there are homeless persons everywhere, but when you witness an event here you are part of history. As we left the LAMC all the vendors were packing up with TONS of unsold, perishable food, especially grilled items like dogs, burgers, and chicken. I earnestly hope that food was given to the homeless or to a shelter and not discarded.
google avatar

Lily D.

Yelp
I love the Los Angeles Colisium! Good vibes and the seating isn't bad. Of course it's hard to find parking, but we found parking at a nearby elementary school.Go Trojans!!
google avatar

Yelp
Attended the breast cancer walk this morning. Did they was filled of survivors and hold as we march to celebrate life.
google avatar

Jody S.

Yelp
Parking and safety in the area not the best. I really liked the food and large concourse at USC football games and the sunshine plus entertainment. Tailgating not too good.
google avatar

Alfredo L.

Yelp
Parking isn't the greatest and you'll be paying a lot if you're not a student, but with that being the only down side of things, it's the home of USC, which means that you can expect to see great football. Fight On!
google avatar

Juan G.

Yelp
1st time at this stadium, USC vs Colorado. 1st. For games park inside the stadium, you can park outside too but it will be more expensive. For us it was $50 to park inside, and $60 to park outside of the stadium. Parking inside is good! 2nd. Don't bring big or medium size purses, we had trouble even bringing a small one. Bags need to be see through (Transparent). 3rd. They do also have electric moving stairs at some points if you have trouble going up regular stairs. There are lots of places to get snacks and food, of course things are a bid pricey, but it is a stadium so it is expected. There are also lots of food street vendors as you are coming in to the different entrance gates. They did smell good, but I did not try them! It was a cool picture experience for a 1st time. The walk from the stadium parking to the gates is not bad at all. Overall, it was a good experience!
google avatar

Ariana B.

Yelp
Perfect view from section 120! Lots of food options to choose from and alcohol also served, though all is usual stadium pricing so expensive as to be expected. Getting in and out was easy. Would come back for another game!

Yelp
We went to a NASCAR event at the Coliseum. Everyone was great. From the woman that saw our group gathering, to the police and vendors - EVERYONE was nice. It's such a historic building and I was happy to see it being cared for. I mean, I look at the ceiling and iron supports, no rust, just paint. I look at the floors, clean, sealed, and smooth - no chips. Had to ask where our gate was, so I asked the police. One was not certain, but got me in the general direction. And he was nice. We had a long wait to get in, until the gate woman came out and gave us some great recommendations on things to do that were close by. Then, for this review I thought, I'll ask for a picture with the police. And again, really nice. Like, people that I felt were good cops. No shady eyes, or "let me see your ID," no "step over here and tell me your name." Nope, a shared smile and a thank you, then I went to the next nice and very important person, the bartender. And again, she was nice. I go to the bartenders that are not the prime spots. We even got to chat with one of the drivers, who was nice and a driver for Ally. Found our seats, thank you nice attendant, and watched the races. Btw, the Coliseum really isn't made to be a racetrack for 27 cars. The qualification races were fun, 9 cars. But, the main heat got boring, after restarting every minute for a spin-out. After the first hour of the main race, we left. Now, I took away the star because it was like watching an environmental terrorism show. The station field was covered with asphalt - just for this event. A track and pit area that rivaled any other What a waste, knowing it would all be torn up and hauled away soon. Then, the fuel and tires. Seriously, do those get 2 gallons a mile? The whole event just felt wasteful. Maybe an electric NASCAR? Technology has come a long way and I think electric could hold its own. It was fun, because of the people. I'll also be fine when these events go away. The impact on the environment obviously doesn't matter to the Coliseum, but it does to me. NASCAR needs to clean it up.

Yelp
In late October 2022, I did the Heart Walk 5K (3.1 miles = 3 laps around) at the LA Memorial Coliseum. What a fantastic event! There were a lot of people at this event, but I didn't think there were as many people as the last Heart Walk 5K that I did pre-COVID. Lots of different medical companies supporting the cause. Just wonderful! Some of them were giving out goodies. I arrived right before the walk so I didn't get a chance to peruse the venue until after the walk. I still got a couple T-shirts and a few other knick knacks. Thank you! Parking was $15. Overall, it was a good turnout. I'll definitely continue my support for the Heart Walk in the years to come. I will do the same for the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk 5K and Heart Walk 5K. These 3 are amazing and great causes. Pre-COVID, they held this Heart Walk event at the Rose Bowl. We'll see where it will take place next year. It's nice to experience it at new locations. If you're curious about the Heart Walk and want to contribute to the cause, come join us next year. Registration is free. If you donate a minimum of $100, you get points to redeem a T-shirt or other stuff. Bring your family & friends and walk with us. If walking is not convenient for you, but you still want to support the cause, you can always donate money. No amount is a small amount. Anything helps. Thank you in advance for your support. Happy Heart Walking and Donating!

Yelp
Huge HUGE space. We weren't actually like in the coliseum, we were like in the vast space in front of it kinda. Still spacious, still nice. Concession stands were clean, no long lines. Bunch of staff. Restrooms were decent. Great event space.

Yelp
We were at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for the USC vs. Notre Dame football game. This was a pretty nice stadium, a lot of bathrooms which was helpful, no waiting! I thought the stadium was clean and the fans were very respectful even though we were rooting for the opposing team. I was worried about wearing my Notre Dame attire on the rival's turf. There were plenty of refreshment stands all around the perimeter of the stadium, not sure of the cost of food and beverages as we decided to partake in some fine dining before the game. Be careful walking up and down the concrete steps of the stadium, the steps are very small and don't seem to accommodate human feet, and I have relatively small feet. I almost fell a couple of times so be very aware walking up and down these steps. We parked offsite so that we could get out easily and even though the parking was in a sketchy neighborhood, it worked out perfectly. Parking was $60 but I did see signs for parking that said $40 a little further out. I think our parking was a little closer. Also be aware that the only bags you can bring into the stadium are clear bags, no solid purses. This is "know before you go" advice. All in all, it is a pretty nice stadium.

Yelp
Definitely worth a visit and repeat visits. You will find the best tailgates and food vendors here, and the coliseum is easy to get in and out of if you need more food, drinks, restrooms, etc. Parking is pricey - usually pay $50 to park on campus for USC games. I heard the surrounding lots are not that far off. Better to park on campus, in my opinion. The area around USC is not the best. Try any of the BBQ stands and any of the carts grilling food. You really won't find a wide variety of food like this at other stadiums. The drinks are strong - I suggest splitting with someone if you're not trying to get lit like that, lol Always a fun time no matter who is playing.
google avatar

Mylesha D.

Yelp
Getting there: Coming here for an event is super chaotic. The best place we've found to park is in the parking garage near Turner. It was $50 parking but worth it to not have to walk far. Experience: I attended a concert here recently. We were quick to get into the entrance and get in line for food and drinks. The venue itself is huge. I feel like anywhere you sit you'll have a good view. The cocktails and beer lines were ridiculous. There should have been more stations to purchase and they ran out of drinks before the show ended. Overall, not a bad place to see a show or a game. Tips: - If parking in the Turner parking garage, park on a lower level or as close to the bottom as possible. We made the mistake of parking higher up and leaving the show we were at a stand still for an hour and a half. - Drinks inside were insanely expensive. Find a local bar and have some pre-show drinks to save money.

Yelp
Hands down the loudest, most pyrotechnic heavy, amazing live show I have ever been to, but I'm sure the majority of the credit goes to the Rammstein team and maybe not the venue itself. But the facility was clean (I did not go into the restroom so I can't speak on that), they had a drink vendor coming around so we didn't have to miss the show for water, beer, or lemonade and that was nice. I did really appreciate being outdoors with the pyrotechnics lol I know some states on the tour are not so lucky. And they offered lots of food and merch locations. Lots of vendors just outside after the show, as well, with bacon wrapped hot dogs and bootleg shirts and sweatshirts. The only downside is on site parking was $50, a bit of a rip off.
google avatar

Viviann L.

Yelp
Beautiful architecture and history behind it. Some games are played there but when it's not being used, they maintain it. You can walk up to it and take pictures but can't get to the seats of any further down.

Yelp
You have a concert... I have a ticket... So there's no problem. Rammstein set the Coliseum on fire September 2022 for their North America stadium tour. Parking at the Coliseum was $100 but just a couple blocks away you can pay $25. Lucky for us we arrived a little after the gates opened at 5pm which gave us plenty of time for eat expensive food (craft/domestic beer, fries, tacos, pretzels, ice cream, beyond burger), shop reasonable-priced merchandise ($20 poster, $40 shirts, bandannas, sweatshirts, lanyards), and photo opportunities (Rammstein blimp). Duo Jatekok, pair of dueling French pianists, opened for the concert at 7pm on a separate small stage (B stage) rocking classical-style Rammstein songs. Was not expecting that surprising beauty! Rammstein gave a spectacular head-banging performance that had everyone on their feet for the whole show. Be blown away by their speakers where your heart & clothes vibrant from each note. Fire spewed from the stage AND from the band members. Fireworks even lit the sky. Gosh, how will they top the next tour?!?! With a little intermission, Duo Jatekok joined some of Rammstein for a song on B stage. As they played, 5 of the Rammstein members crowd boated (way cooler than crowd surfing) to the stage while Till, the singer, helped them board the main stage. Full of energy for 2-1/2 hours! Totally looking forward to their next concert...maybe we'll try for a different continent. Coliseum did a good job: clean, easy access to everything, and clearly posted signs/merchandise. Tickets, merchandise, food, and parking are all cashless (= debit/credit card). Plenty of security, police, Fire Dept, and EMT presence. Clean bathrooms were available and located between gates and entrance tunnels. Only downfall was how expensive the food and drinks were. Good thing after the performance, you will be greeted by hot dog vendors that take cash.

Yelp
Awesome to be coming out here again for events. We were just here during the Martin Luther King Parade here 2 months ago. I used to go to the parade alot when I grew up in this area. Nice things and venues will be coming back to the Coliseum. I want to see the next Olympics here again. I love this place.

Yelp
GO TROJANS!!! Home of USC football and the makings of the next NFL players! You never miss game day and the Rice vs USC game was a perfect start to the season! Great views but bring some hats for the shade! Highly recommended!!

Yelp
A historical place, recently upgraded and remodeled so that your visit is even more enjoyable. I've been coming in here all my life and will continue to do so. This place has so much history and one must come at least once to watch a spectacle in here. It is an awesome place in the history of Los Angeles and the history of this country . I always enjoy a visit here, I love the latest remodel with new seats and new restrooms , very well done.

Yelp
This is a beautiful new, old stadium. They did a great job in the rebuild world famous Coliseum. No more bench seats, we have real stadium chairs in here now. There is not a bad seat in the house and all the scoreboard are awesome. I can't wait to return to watch the next Trojan game, especially if it's like tonight's game. Three overtimes and both teams went hard. It was a tremendous experience to watch and be apart of, there nothing like College football. The food is amazing, they have something for every person that comes to the game. I had a loaded baked potato that, well how could I put it it may be hard but find Whoo, she a bartender, outside of section 22, and she knows how to make a drink. Oh I almost forgot they have a loaded nacho that is also. Shot out to Bridget she was perfect in making sure our orders were correct and delicious. I must say from the beginning, of our night we were treated as well as you can expect being a spectator at a excellent event. Thank you.

Yelp
If there's an event here I'd avoid it. Recently came here to attend the Kanye V Drake benefit concert. Exited the freeway about two miles from the venue and did not even make it inside or find parking. I exited the freeway about 2.5 miles from the venue and was stuck in THE WORST gridlock traffic ever. This section of town is old and outdated and the roads are a mess. Doors were at 8 p.m. and they didn't hit the stage until 9:30 p.m. At 9:20 a traffic cop was walking up the middle of the street letting each car now there's no more parking and we will need to find street parking and make sure to observe the signs so we don't get towed or ticketed. I gave up once I saw the concert was streaming live on Amazon Prime. Aside from the Coliseum, USC is in the same vicinity so you're dealing with heavy school traffic as well.

Yelp
Very limited parking. Very little leg room. Beautiful venue thought. Lots of food vendors but every station has a long line that you'll wait in for 15 minutes minimum.

Yelp
This review is regarding traffic and customer service. Traffic during the Los bukis concert was the worst traffic I've ever witnessed. We missed the concert due to it. I've been to several concerts and I know to arrive early due to parking and traffic. This was on another level. I've tried calling customer service, left voicemails. No one returns my calls. Will never attend an event here again.

Yelp
The LA Coliseum provided a fantastic setting for the NASCAR clash and made for a memorable day with friends. The energy in the stadium was amazing, and we had a wonderful time enjoying the races and each other's company.

Yelp
Parking is a major problem for a large event we went to. Unless you want to spend a long time in bumper to bumper traffic waiting to park, go early or take an Uber/Lyft. The venue also is slow to get out of because of the archways. Either way it's a cool place but just not ideal to get into or out of. Hence the mixed review'

Yelp
This was my first NFL game and hands down such an amazing experience. It was great because it was in my hometown and I feel like there is a special kindling feeling when you are surrounded by your neighborhood of folks you grew up with. The LA Coliseum was the perfect center to encompass this great event. All staffing and security were very helpful and kind. The game was the LA Rams vs. the Baltimore Ravens. The Baltimore Ravens took advantage of the Rams and we were defeated pretty badly. But in comparison, it was good to know they also recently defeated one of the best teams, the Patriots, this month going against Tom Brady. So in retrospect, it doesn't feel that bad. But all in all, the experience was priceless even though my Uber ride was surcharged 3x its normal rate due to the event, plus it being the Thanksgiving week.

Yelp
A historic venue. We attended a USC football game. We purchased on campus parking through a link on the USC website - a short walk to the stadium. The food concessions were limited. Although hot dogs were listed on the menu at two stands that I visited, neither had a hot dog.

Yelp
I came here for the class of 2020/2021 USC graduation and was very pleasantly surprised at how great this coliseum was. Parking was plentiful and was close/far depending on which gate you were required to enter from. I think it usually costs about $12/car but for us it was free. Security was easy, especially with the clear bag, small wristlet policy. Seating was great--they are actual chairs and not concrete stairs or metal bleacher seats. Food--unfortunately they were not selling food during the event but they don't prohibit you from bringing your own snacks in case you get hungry. Views--very pretty stadium and surrounded by many TVs so you can catch the action without missing anything. Navigating here was easy. My GPS did not steer us wrong! Thankfully when we came it was a cloudy day but on sunny days I can see people getting sunburnt. There is no shade inside so make sure to bring a hat.

Yelp
Ok, I saw another review from a fellow Yelper stating same thing imma bout to say: last time I was here was when I did one of the Revlon 5k run/walk back early 2000s, maybe 99? for Breast Cancer. Sister Sledge -three of them were performing after the race. (RIPJoni). It was that long ago. It was bit battered and looked rundown back then. Fast forward to tonight and it's been slowly worked on and from what I heard on the news last week of this review, seating was restructured meaning they added more room for comfort by taking out 500 seats. I'm usually uncomfortable sitting for long periods of time because I'm getting old & gained weight. I also have added pain & health issues for just getting older. But I must say, I was comfortable in the seat. Roomy and not too close to the stranger sitting next to me. He had his space to man spread & did not go over my lane. I'm impressed. And, not once did I get up to have to go to restroom or stretch legs, I was that comfortable. The Rams vs Broncos preseason game and it was fun environment rooting for (Rams hubbys team & his Birthday present - it was his bday). Entertainment keeps you motivated and not bored if you're not into it (I saw lots of people not just women, tranced on cellphones). And again, security was on top of securing the entire area ensuring public safety. They have it well organized, lots of security & staff throughout entire coliseum. Lots of police officers outside directing traffic & pedestrians to ensure safety. All the way up to outside parking lots as well as the Metro station on 37th. Lots of food vendors & other impromptu entrepreneurs outside- so glad allow those people to set up shop and earn money as well. And we did the Silverline, which honestly the best way to go, not putting yourself in traffic, dealing with the congestion of parking or paying $$ for parking. I must say it again, I was quite impressed. And it was hard for us to finally muster courage to go, due to our shared aversion to large crowds & also anxiety. I did not once cringe or hyperventilate. We might just go back again soon. I hope even after the new Rams stadium (Inglewood) is finished, the coliseum continues to flourish, for she is a historical landmark!

Yelp
This is the first time I've been here surprisingly. It seems like a cool stadium from the exterior but that's not the case. It's very outdated. They need more craft beer selections too. The band was amazing but the venue not so much.
