Fantastic dinner at La Mesa. Amazing pisco sours, oysters, the ceviche was one of the best I’ve had and the octopus was incredible. Also got the catch of the day with mashed potatoes that I’ll be thinking about for a long time, plus the seafood risotto. Everything was perfect. Coupled with great wine and service!

The chef has developed a series of dishes that are an exquisite mix of texture, smells, and tastes. Alvaro, I understood, has done an outstanding job with his offer. They have a knowledgeable sommelier, but I guess that is to be expected in Chile. We got well advised on what to drink. Definitely recommended, be ready to pay high prices (very high but deserved)

Sat at the bar.. my experience with both Jose, the sommelier and Fabian, the bartender at Verde bar, made the experience count.. I walked in on a rainy night, sat at the bar starving…. The complimentary home made focaccia was so nice, warm and tasty (I ordered more and I never eat bread). I had the ceviche (this is fresh and different to Peruvian style sauce), grilled octopus and beef chunks.. have to say beef chunks was my favourite ( mind blowing with sweet and tender flavours) contrarian.. Jose explained to me different type of Chilean wines and what organic meant on wines.. def helped narrow my wine valley visit and learning experience of Chilean wines .. Will be back again if my days here weren’t limited, but I really enjoyed the restaurant .. def try

We found this gem while exploring Santiago, and it exceeded all expectations. La Mesa offers an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service is outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. The wine selection is top-tier, featuring both local Chilean favorites and international labels. Their cocktail menu is equally impressive, with creative, well-balanced drinks that are beautifully presented. If you're in Santiago and enjoy great wine, cocktails, and warm hospitality, La Mesa in Vitacura is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Hands down the best meal we had in Chile and really decent value. Highly recommend the sea urchin pasta - pasta was freshly made. Despite us not speaking Spanish, service was really friendly and warm. We would have returned had it not been our last day in Santiago!

Highly Recommend La Mesa! As an Aussie visiting Santiago, I was impressed by the incredible sea urchin and ceviche—so fresh and full of flavour. The service was outstanding, warm and attentive throughout. A top-notch seafood spot I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting the city! Pia was so friendly and attentive!

Excellent service, great decor. Good food. Very beautiful setting, beautifully presented food. I would say my dishes (vegetable tartare and the fish of the day ) can be less salty. Esp the vegetable tartare which was excellent but i find the salt was over-powering. The Patagonia lamb and the side salad was excellent however. It was not bad fine dining at all for the price we paid.
