L/A Mex Vegan Taqueria

Absolutely delicious vegan Mexican food! We tried some tacos (super crunchy and tinga en fuego) and the chorizo con papas burrito. We also tried the little churros. Everything was sooo soo good. Super fresh and we can't wait to try everything else on their menu. We took our order to go and they packed it super well for the trip. They were all super nice and helpful too. Really great Mexican food, and it just so happens to be vegan! Have been here a few times now and everything I try is yummy, the drinks are also great (frozen margs, yum!). My favorites so far are the chorizo con papas torta, and the tinga taco. The atmosphere is also nice, their outdoor patio is really lovely.

Stumbled on it on Happy Cow app, I guess it's pretty new place, since I haven't heard of it. Went on a friday night, it wasn't too busy, but more people were coming in while I ate. It had a casual approach (you order at the counter, but they bring you your food), but still feels like a restaurant, and not like a fast food joint. The food came out very fast, I put my stuff down, went to the bathroom, they brought complimentary chips for the table, and I barely started on the chips and the food was ready. Got taco dinners, with 3 different tacos, cause you can mix. Carnitas was definitely best, then mushroom taco, and least favorite was chorizo and potato (I might have been pretty full by then too). Girl at the counter and server were really nice. I really had no complaints about anything. Will come back to try more, cause menu seems extensive.

Wow! I am blown away. These vegan tacos were better than many meat tacos I’ve encountered. The flavors are 10/10, especially the Tinga en Fuego—highly recommend! My to-go margarita hit the spot. Great atmosphere and patio. Well done, Kalish family!

Honestly the food was 10/10 from start to finish. Would not even know the food was vegan. The margarita was delicious. The elote was beautiful, and the carnitas taco was one of the best tacos I’ve had in Chicago.

All the dishes are very tasty, the truth is that the taste is almost identical!! At regular food you won't believe you're eating vegan food!!!

Expensive. The Baja taco did not taste fresh. The food was not authentic. Margaritas taste like water with lime. Overall did not meet my expectations. Better vegan Mexican options out there. The menu is all over the place too many stuff and quality is very poor. Took a date there and we literally had to stop by somewhere else to eat.

This is the go to vegan place! They have amazing Mexican food which I’ve always wanted to try and finally have been able to. I love their beans, and they are one of the best I have ever had. Besides the amazing food, their staff is great too. Their customer service is remarkable. David was very helpful, and honest in helping me decide what to order, and seemed very knowledgeable in the food they were serving. I would recommend this place to everyone, due to the delicious food, and welcoming staff. This is also a dog friendly place
