La Mexicana Grill

The food was good: however from maps, the site said I should download the app, so I did. The app then orders from another location at Wrigley, so I had to travel a good bit further than expected where parking is a lot harder. The app doesn't appear to allow pick up orders at this location. I wish that was clear before I placed the order. The app also shows a taco salad with sour cream and guacamole, but then says they are an extra charge. Kind of misleading... And expensive.

The food is really good. Fast service, great portion size. The place is very new, nice and clean.

We pickup or get burritos delivered, and they are always consistently great. Ordering directly through their website is easy, the delivery drivers are efficient and follow drop-off instructions, and you get points toward future orders. This is our go-to for a quick, filling, not too expensive dinner.

I like to give places the benefit of the doubt! I'm going to chalk up the issue I had with my order to technical glitches and will check back in a week or two to see if they've been able to get it resolved. Great service and good atmosphere, food, I'll find out soon! My initial review involved questions about their pricing. All the things that were supposed to be included I was being up charged for per my image. They're looking into it, so hoping for good things.

It is rewarding to have La Mexicana Grill in our Neighborhood. The staff and owners are polite and helpful while they serve some excellent Mexican food. We are working through the menu, it will take some time. Try them while you can!

This place was so darned good. Just opened up! The guy behind the counter was friendly. We got a California Burrito with Carnitas and a Veggie Bowl with shrimp! Everything tasted fresh, flavorful and not greasy! Amazing add to the neighborhood. Oh and the salsa and guacamole were out of this world. You have got to try this!!

Always delicious. I love the grilled fish tacos (you can usually only find fried), and the peach habanero salsa is truly extra extra hot in the best way possible. Tres Leches cake might be the best I’ve ever had.

It was a good service. He brought me my food and drinks, it was all accurate. The food was bad. Both of the Tamales were severely over cooked actually they were burnt. Rice was overcooked, the burrito opened up as I picked it up. Offered fountain drinks on the menu but didn’t see the machine anywhere in sight. Also they charge for every added ingredient to a burritos THAT makes a burrito. So expensive for bad quality is crazy. I don’t know if they need a better cook or better recipe, but definitely something’s gotta be fixed in here.

Yummmmmm!!! When this restaurant first arrived, I was a little yikes! It's pretty hard to come to the neighborhood right in between two well established Mexican restaurants.... However, way to level up!! The food is delicious and staff friendly! I won't be going anywhere else!!

Stopped in La Mexicana Grill after meeting some folks at Max's for drinks (Where Friends Meet Friends). I had a taste for Mexican food but didn't want to walk all the way down to Lindo, so I stopped in here to grab some food. The interior was shiny, new and clean. As you walked in, there is a kiosk where you can place your order. You also have the option of ordering from the counter and online. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me with a smile and took my order. The wait for the food was not that long. Once I got it home, I surveyed the goods. Everything was hot and fresh. The flavors were very nice and I loved everything except the rice. It wasn't bad, but just sort of ok, nothing to write home about. That said, I would definitely order from here again. The burrito was a nice size and had plenty of meat. The refried beans were good, with a nice consistency. I love their carnitas, very tender and flavorful. La Mexicana Grill has a point system where you can save points towards purchases and for first time users ordering online, you get a $10 off card to use towards your next purchase within 7 days of your purchase. Best believe I will be using that card.

Great staff, clean and delicious food, and bright! Highly recommend giving them a try!
