I don't have ice cream very often, there are few options in my home town. So far I've been here twice and it is literally the best ice cream I've ever had since I was a child. Handmade, Artisan style with natural flavors and there is a variety to choose from even the aguas frescas. Real Fruit, Real Flavors nothing artificial. I love this place and wish it was at home.

The most delicious icecream. So many flavors. My kids love it here as well us grown ups! I had the mangonadas and it was very fresh and flavorful. Owners are super friendly and it's always a treat stopping by here!

Amazing! This place offers so much variety, and everything is so good! We got a large fruit salad with ice cream which was delicious, and the elote on top of chips was so good! We’ll definitely be making routine visits here :)

My daughter and I arrived 20 minutes before they closed. So we got the employee’s annoyed faces and was told we had to take it to go. As I was looking at the menu the older lady kept asking what I wanted and kept rushing me to order. We got some ice cream and the strawberry and cream. My daughter enjoyed it. Food was good and all but did not like the employee’s attitude.

If you like the rompope ice cream, you should get a scoop of Baylee’s to go with it! They pair so well together. My boyfriend got the fruit salad and it’s a pretty good size

First time going here and I was very dissatisfied. The corn was not good and the agua fresca was alright. The tostielote was not good at all. I was most disappointed with the strawberries and cream, I don’t mind paying the 8 dollars but 3/4 of the cup were whipped cream and just topped off with strawberries. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

This is hands down my favorite authentic Mexican ice cream shop on this side of town. I've met the owner a few times and he's very nice and so are all of his employees. They have a lot of seating so you're never cramped up waiting for a seat and it's also a big locale so it rarely gets too crowded. I've tried various menu items their fresas con crema are great, the tostilocos are pretty good, and the nachos are a solid choice. Their paletas are great and the aguas frescas are super refreshing and delicious. My go to order however is always their ice cream, cookies and cream or gansito are my go toos. It's good quality ice cream and they aren't stingy with their portions. If you haven't already, I'd recommend stopping by!

Paletas and ice cream are decent but the pricing is pretty crazy. One small scoop for $4, and one freezer burned paleta cost $4 as well. You can drive a little further down 1960 heading towards 45 and find other small Mexican ice cream spots that do the same size scoop or same paletas for $2.50 or so and they will taste better too.

Acana. People think I've had work done (on my ice cream, so to speak), but I have Natural Ice Cream if you know what I mean. Definitely some of the greatest Paletas and ice cream we have ever tried, and it just takes paletas to the next level. I can't quite describe how amazing they are - it's just too good to be true. There are Mexican dessert shops and then there is this place. They kind of ruined paletas for us because we really like Mexican popsicles and we get them all the time, and a lot of places we think make them really well, but then we tried this place, and by comparison to this place there are really no good paleta shops. That's how good they are. We're talking about some of the very very best paletas that you will ever eat. The Mexicans really know how to make their fruit Popsicles with chunks of fruit and delicious fresh ingredients, and this is the perfect example of just how good they can be. They have amazing ice cream products too, but it's the fruity Paletas that are always the standout here. They're a little more expensive than you probably imagined and will cost you $3 or so for each one, but it's well worth it, and they are otherworldly in terms of taste. It's run by a very friendly family, and they're looking to expand to a couple more locations, and we can only hope that all of their locations will have these incredible amazing standards for desserts. I'm going for paletas, you can come, do you WANNA? You said you maybe would, so decide, are you GONNA? Popsicles might be fun, but Paletas are FUNNER Especially when you get them here at MICHOACANA! WHAT!

Above all the ice cream and other stuff they have are good but diluir the two men that work there aletas with there fríen faces very unwelcoming i have to put one Star but i don't want to due to there uglyness

Apparently all the ice cream here is made in the store. How awesome is that. The owners are super nice and cool. They had Man of steel (superman) playing in the background while we ate our ice cream which was fun. They had close to 16 different flavors - all of which were really good. It's not cheap, but seriously you can taste the quality. They also will let you try a few flavors too. They also had ice cream bars but we didn't try those. Facility is pretty darn clean which is nice. Even the restrooms - we took a visit there to wash my and my kid's hands. You won't be disappointed. Quality ice cream. Cool owners.

I loved this place, their ice creams are delicious, the flavors are very original, it's super clean and the staff is great; however, I had an awkward experience with one gentleman that I believe must be one of the owners: I have been to many ice cream shops and gelaterias around the world and I have always found pride in business owners when customers try their different flavors before making a decision. When my wife and I arrived at Michoacana Auténtica, we were amazed by their selection of unusual flavors, we asked for few samples and the staff was nice in giving us tiny samples (which is common practice in gelato/ice cream shops), when I asked about another flavor, this gentleman looked at my hand, I was holding four tiny spoons from previous tastings, looked at me and said that he will only give me one more tasting. I don't know, it was very awkward, I didn't know what to say and how to react. My wife looked at me, we ordered two medium ice-creams (two flavors each), enjoyed them and left the place with a "sour taste" about the whole experience. A cultural shock? Perhaps other customers have abused him before? A company's policy different than what others do? Or was he in a bad mood that day? The tiny amounts on each sample certainly did not cut into their profits... Poor customer appreciation I think...

La Michoacana Auténtica receives 5 stars all around for the food/drinks, the service and the ambiance. We got a variety of items and everything tasted so fresh and flavorful! The owners were serving the food and taking orders and everything was done from scratch. One of the things I ordered was bionico and they prepared it right in front of me with fresh fruit. They keep their establishment clean and the vibe I got from the owners was very pleasant. They are very nice and were patient with all the stuff we ordered lol. We went during a busy time (holiday) and because they prepare certain items from scratch, there can be a little wait, but not too bad. I definitely recommend this place for a family outing. Enjoy!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! This has been a go to spot for me and my boyfriend for awhile now, we love how natural their items on the menu are. As soon as you walk in you can see and feel how fresh and clean the establishment is!! not to mention that the staff has always been so polite Must try's : Hot Cheetos & cheese ( something about their cheese is heavenly ) & the all natural paletas!!

La Michoacana is very Auténtica! I have tried several paletas and some ice cream, and every single bite was delicious and amazing! They make their products in the store, and you can really taste the freshness and top quality ingredients. The first time I tried their lime paleta, I thought it tasted different from what I'm used to. Then I realized that it wasn't full of artificial sweeteners and colors and chemicals like you would find on the grocery store shelf. This paleta hasn't been living in a freezer for months on end. It's made with fresh and real ingredients and sold soon after. All of the paletas I have tried have been wonderful. The fruit ones are full of fruit bits and taste like real fruit. The guava is really good, and I don't even like guava. I tried the caramel, and it was amazing. It was so creamy and smooth with a rich flavor of caramel. I can't wait to try more milky paletas. Their ice creams are also really fresh and delicious. I love this place! I try to come every time I'm shopping near here. They have so many flavors that I still want to try. Also, the people working here are super nice. This is a must try!

This is my husband's & I first time @ La Michoacána - and saying that we loved it here is an understatement. The owner here is beyond friendly , have us the rundown of Al their flavors, gave us samples so we could try their flavors (w/o us even asking) that to me is AMAZING customer service! We recommend this place to all who are wanting a snack, a drink, something sweet; this is the place to be! Not to mention everything is homemade! 1000/10

Tried this spot today with my husband and brother and OMG we fell in love. Everything we tried was so delicious and fresh, the mangonada was absolutely delicious we're so tired of the frozen ones everyone's else serves. Everything was just amazing! The owner was attentive and friendly so that was also a plus, We will definitely be coming back.

My best friend and I stopped by yesterday to try the new location on Hwy 6 and we both loved it! We had nachos, hot cheetos with melted cheese, an agua fresca de jamaica, and 2 ice cream cones. They have a large Mexican variety of flavors that you don't find at other ice cream shops.

This mom and pop shop has the best and most fresh items ever. I always get their ice cream and my boyfriend always gets their mangonadas. I dont know what they put in there but it's so addicting and just sweet enough.

Found this place by accident and I'm so happy I did. The owner mentioned the ice cream is freshly made and I could tell. I tried a few different flavors and they were all delicious. Great customer service and very clean place. Definitely going back!!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ice cream was my favorite, not sure what it's called but if you show the picture they will know what you're talking about. It has whip cream, strawberries, and ice cream. I also had the elotes but I feel that something was missing. I will definitely try more things on the menu. I definitely prefer this location over another one I visited.

Got a Stawberry Horchata and in a large cup for $5.06 with tax and it's by far the best I've had! They have many varieties of ice cream flavors and will give a taste samples. Very clean and the ambiance is so welcoming. Will definitely be back.

The owners are so sweet and friendly! I love that they make everything from scratch, you can really taste the difference. The place was super clean and they had so many options. I had the cappuccino ice cream and it was wonderful. Not too heavy or overly sweet and just the right amount of coffee taste with a nice texture. I also tried the tequila ice cream and it had a really nice flavor that I wasn't expecting! You'll be hard pressed to find fresher ice cream with such unique flavors! I'll be coming here for ice cream from now on instead of going to the grocery store.

We were in desperate need of finding a place for ice cream, I'm glad we found this place on yelp!! Highly recommend it: many delicious variations of homemade authentic Mexican (Michoacán)/American ice creams, paletas de leche y agua (popsicles made of milk or fruit water), and other authentic treats/snacks. Family owned business with outstanding customer service!

This is a true mom and pop shop! My family and I showed up 30 minutes before closing. The service was still spectacular! Showed us all the favorites and let us try some before ordering. I am typically skeptical of "homemade" ice cream because they are usually super sweet and end up not really being home made. But after tasting their ice cream.. I can confidently say they make the ice cream themselves! The mango flavor actually tasted fresh. The pistachio flavor actually had some pistachio pieces in there. The caramel macchiato was creamy and my fiance favorite. Their prices are also super affordable! I feel like they are under charging for the sizes of the scoops and quality of their desserts. 100% recommended to anyone and everyone!

This location has fresh ingredients and friendly staff, I've been to other similar places in the area, and this location is a lot better. We had a mangonada and Rusa drink, both were delicious. Also ordered a duro with cueritos and it was also an item I am coming back for! Ice creams were fresh and great consistency. A must visit!

I will be back soon for the exceptional service and the diverse, flavorful menu. Greeted immediately upon entering + offered samples of their freshly made, in-house ice cream. The pineapple queso ice cream was a delicious surprise! The elote (street corn) with chips was flavorful with good temperature. I fully recommend the strawberry horchata. Come hungry!

This is the best authentic Mexican ice cream I have found anywhere. So many great ice cream flavors. Bailey's is excellent. The popsicles are fantastic. The menu has an array of Mexican favorite sweets and snacks.
