La Michoacana Bakery & Taco Shop

When walking in a young man( the worker) was rearranging the breads with no gloves. My family ordered (I did not place an order for myself) same kid takes the money then goes to back to make food. No gloves or hairnet. There is a woman chopping with no gloves or hairnet. Tables were sticky. This place is not up to code nor the workers. Not sure the health department has not shut them down yet!

I stopped by on the way to a job, paid $8 for 3 steak tacos… it was really GOOD! Aggressively seasoned meat, delicious

This place is my go to for pan dulce its always fresh and never in 12 years have I ever complained about it

Local neighborhood place that is amazing great food at a value I didn’t know still existed in California. Stopped on my way through to kings canyon and couldn’t be happier I did. Tried all four types of tacos and couldn’t have been happier with my move. The bakery goods were so fresh and amazing. Cannot recommend them enough!

Well, I only tried the asada tacos on my (first) visit. And they did not disappoint! I like the salsa bar with 3 different choices where you top your own tacos and chopped up onions/cilantro to add as you please. Will be back to try the pastor next!

It doesn't look like much, but we noticed the outside eating area & people, including families, eating tacos. You tell them what you want & pay inside. You also can buy snacks or soda inside. After paying take the paper out to the cooks. Here you get your tacos or whatever you ordered. Have them plain or have them add some goodies. There is a salsa bar inside where you can serve yourself different salsas. You must wear a mask at the salsa bar! These were some of the best tacos I've ever had. I ate some & then ordered more & those too! The people we talked to were bilingual & the men who were cooking were very polite & showed us where the bottle opener & napkins were.

The other food is good, but The menudo was good before, but now it is greasy and it does not have flavor.

I only had about 30 minutes for lunch so I was hoping I would be able to eat comfortably! I ordered 4 tacos (3 asada, 1 pastor) and they were done within a few minutes! They had a great selection of salsa and even beans and something I would say was like a ensalada de nopales. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. It's a smaller spot but they do have table seating or you can take it to go. I really enjoyed the tacos and I would recommend this spot for quick and delicious tacos! Oh and it's also a bakery; therefore, if you want something sweet they have a wide selection of pan dulce.

Tacos are really good, not a big selection but they are really good. The condiments are amazing... they have a small area for salsa and frijoles. The bakery is very fresh and they have a good selection. Staff was so nice and welcoming, I'll definitely be back.

the food is good but the people making the food bumped their heads . they can't even make a simple order how I ordered it . what's the whole point of taking the order if they can't even read the note ..?

Super little location. They are mainly a bakery. I came because of their menu which is outdated:/ I was hoping for some chilaquiles and then to my surprise the owner said we only have tacos. Fml. Well I was like ok they are suppose to be the best tacos in town. I ordered one of each which were asada, chorizo, tripa, and pastor. My favorite one was the pastor. Second favorite asada. The tripa taco had a funny after taste that stopped me from eating it. I was full when I was about to try the chorizo taco. That was ok! The best thing out of this experience were the salsas. They have three and all three were delicious with the perfect spice. They also have freshly baked sweet bread which is good. Stop by!

Strictly on the tacos. So much flavor. I ordered two asadas taco and two pastor tacos. Both were really good. Double the small Tortillas for each taco that where heated up perfectly and they had some kind or oil to them that made them come out just right. Meats were flavorful with no to very little fat if any, and cooked just right to were the meats came out tender. I added the works, and I tried two different sauces which weren't very spicy but were very tasty. I must have been very hungry because I feel like I would definitely stop by again if I'm around. Bonus they have a bakery right there waiting for after your done! Delicious!

Food was amazing! Visiting from Stockton and wanted to find a taqueria. I came upon this little place. I had Chorizo, Asada, and pastor tacos. I also ordered soup to go and my favorite Mexican bread. Family owned business. Kids were super kind, respectful and well mannered. They were attentive, and said how was your food? I said it was delicious and they said I should come back made me feel welcome! Hats off to the parents for raising great kids!

Was driving on my way to Stockton from Fresno and me and my boyfriend decided to stop by here. Man it was clean, they were polite and the tacos were ready pretty fast. And I'm a big taco fanatic and these tacos are bomb.com honestly one of the best tacos I've had in a long time. And I'm straight from mexico so I know legit tacos when I see them. So I definitely recommend coming here :)

Always the best tacos! They use yellow tortilla which makes their tacos so delicious! It's the only place I'll eat 7 tacos and still want more lol I have no shame with this place! They serve other items too: tortas, burritos, and different meats which are all delish! I love their tripas! My kids love their pink bread too.

I love their tacos! Great food I recommend pastor! Their orders are always right. Place is very affordable. However sometimes their customer service skills lack (example not welcoming your customers). The older man that serves on the weekends has the best customer service skills and quite frankly the reason why I keep going to this local business. Customer service has been my only concern and that's the only reason for my rating.

Their selection of bread has decreased and their prices are somewhat high. Customer Service is good but dislike that sometimes they insert flyers about their religion on my grocery bag when I check out.
