"Belén Valverde and Matias de los Santos fell in love in Punta del Este, moved to Spain and then Mexico, until finally they were invited to join Mexican chef Rosio Sanchez at Hija de Sánchez in Copenhagen. I got the taco combo, which gives you one taco of each flavor, and comes with a drink. I wasn’t a huge fan of the veggie taco, although it was very pretty, but I really liked the meat options. The salsa that it comes with wasn’t too spicy and had a nice flavor! The service from the employees was good.

Vegan food is not necessarily easy to find in Montevideo. Great vegan food, less so. Lucky for vegan you this friendly group will whip together some authentic, fresh, healthy and super tasty treats. Tacos with corn tortillas, kale, beans, tempeh and greens and, I am not kidding (and I have eaten a million tacos), delicious salsa. Tacos seem like a simple food but when all the ingredients harmonize in your mouth a well known folk song becomes a satisfying symphony.

Amazing tacos!! Great, fresh, authentic corn tortillas with meat and veggie filling options. We’ve made it a weekly tradition and have never been disappointed. They also have a fantastic hot sauce and make a mean margarita!

The flavours of the tacos were very well put together. The owner recommended the daily special to us as well, which was a tostada de camaron and very tasty! Also highly recommend the home made torilla chips (the guacamole is insanely good!) And the staff is super friendly as well:)

Probably the best Mexican tacos I’ve ever had, and I’ve been all over Mexico. Very well spiced, and the owner was extremely friendly too. And the margaritas…perfection.
