The 35 Best Restaurants in Cartagena, Colombia | Eater

"Despite its exceedingly hip vibe, this unconventional comfort food spot offers some of the city’s best traditional Colombian food, made with ingredients sourced from small producers. The simple but tasty fare includes seafood served on plantain leaves, ceviches, refreshing agua frescas, and other surprises made with native produce. Opens from breakfast to lunch, La Mulata is a nice option for tourists or locals with flexible work schedules [$$ - $$$]" - Juliana Duque

The place lost power but was still good atmosphere. The food was good from the soup start to the shrimp pasta! My highlight was the passion fruit juice so fresh and crisp. The fish with lime was also good options

Whenever I‘m in Cartagena, I just love eating at La Mulata. They‘ve been around forever. The restaurant has a nice, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. My favorites are Filete de Pescado Camaronero and the Ceviche Mixto. The corozo juice and the limonada de coco are fantastic.

We loved the food at La mulata. Really good portion, for very good prices. We saw a littler roach walking up on one of The wall near our table and complained to the waitress, nothing was done about it. The food had great taste and I would have given them 5 stars on everything if I didn’t see the roach walking on the wall.

Think this is a great restaurant to have on your list of places to eat in Cartagena. Lunch or Dinner will be fine. Casual restaurant serving local food. The fried whole fish looks like the best thing to get here. Unpretentious but tasty. I got the coconut lemonade - think the plain lemonade is better though. My total bill was 52,000 which is extremely good value.

Fairly priced and service, we all had the fried fish, coconut lemonade, and ceviche. Enjoyed it til the last bite 😋

They really don't need another positive review but everything was impeccable, the price is very fair and the food was excellent, so was the service, and we were greeted by a saxophone player, which was a nice surprise

A small restaurant with good Caribbean cuisine. The food, although inexpensive, is delicious. If you're in Cartagena, be sure to stop by.

Food was good but not excellent, big plates tho fishes on the overcooked side. Overall good place for dinner but if you want very well cooked seafood then try somewhere else
