Love this pozole, it’s the best I’ve ever had. My husband got the guisado de puerco this time and and that was delicious with the fresh warm homemade tortillas. Yum, we need to come here more often!

Quiet little spot. They just opened up a fruit place next door. Had a torta cubano and was delicious. Hand made corn tortillas. Music is good here also.

A hidden gem located in Garland. I was skeptical as typically with any small establishment with a wide menu usually something is a miss. Not here. I have come several times to try different plates and all have been great. Definitely a place I'd recommend, prices are fair, food is fresh, and in a timely manner. Don't skip out on this place, you'll regret it.

Food was exactly it was shown in pictures on menu, service was great, and food was served pretty fast, fully enjoyed this restaurant, and as a hispanic person who doesn't eat at Mexican restaurants because they don't taste authentic, I highly recommend eating here!

Food is always good here. This is a regular spot for me and my wife. Enchiladas are good as well as the sopes. Chilaquiles are great as well. Food is ready in 10-15 mins for pick up regularly.

First time going and ordered three tacos! The tacos were delicious and they didn't skimp on the meat. Also, the spicy sauce hits hard! Definitely going back!

All fantastic food. Great presentation as well. First of I'll tell you I had the La Nenas special. Which is what you see here. Three tacos, rice and beans. They even brought me chips and salsa which made it even more inviting. Very fair pricing too. I have found it hard to find a place that makes a good tasty rice. The first bite I took was the rice and bam it was bursting with flavor. I had two steak and one carnitas. Both by far some of the best I've had. All in all when I'm in the area I will be back and will never forget this place. If your looking for some authentic fabulous food you wont be disappointed. Thank you La Nena.

I love this place! They are a small quaint place with awesome food and friendly service. Sometimes I go there just to pick up flan to go. No need to get dressed up, put on makeup, etc. Just go and enjoy!

Alright here's my food! 3 tacos on flour. Well the meat is tender but definitely needs some seasoning and was EXTREMELY greasy. The best thing was the rice it was most seasoned and tasted great. I truly feel these are the refried beans out of a can warmed up so that is NOT authentic... Overall food is 3/10 and I won't return The restaurant is very nice, clean, and smells great as the restroom. The owners are nice.

I ordered the taco plater with 4 tacos and it was not only delicious but the service was fast and amazing. The price is affordable and when I'm back in this area of Garland I will be back.

I am used to a taco, made fresh and deep fried, not a shell you buy at a store... big difference. I can make tacos all day long but to have a real deep fried tacos I crave all the time!

The food was legit!! We've been driving by for months, so we finally stopped in and were amazed at the incredible food. They even had fresh homemade lemonade. My son had the tacos, and he ate them up so fast, I had the enchilada plate that came with rice and beans, those beans!!! We will definitely be back.

Today was my first time visiting La Nena's and it was great! I got their taco plate with horchata and both were delicious and authentic. Also, it's so much cheaper compared to the other taco places around, without lacking quality or flavor. Will definitely be back

I like this place, food is close to real mexican food taste . Love the quesadilla frita made of tinga de pollo! Try the pambazos too... eat your food there because mexican food taste better when is hot...just don't go to the restroom

This is my first time, I ordered taquiros (taquitos) and was not disapointed. Got the home made taste in every tortilla filled with carnira (carnitas) meat. The double tortilla, size and seasoned is just the right touch of what a street taco should have! 4 tacos did it for me! Also took in the tacos with a mexican bottle coke of "Medio litro"

Menudo was so soggy tasted it like it was from days ago and just got re-boiled, I couldn't believe I got served such crap.

Stopped here on the way back from the gym - of course I was famished! You go to the counter and order from their many options on the wall. Got the sour cream enchiladas to go. I wonder if I had eaten them if they would have been better. They were just kind of plain and cold. Wish I had gotten one of the specialties. Will be willing to try them out again.

Had the Chile (Poblano) Relleno - so good! Authentic and great price! Would definitely be back!

So authentic, I really love eating here. Whenever I'm craving m momma's Mexican home cooking, this place fills my tummy well. Nothing I've had here has been disappointing: tacos, flautas, enchiladas. And the service is friendly and welcoming. Simple and easily overlooked but I usually can't help stopping by after getting my gas tank filled at the Shell station nearby.

Great home cooked Mexican food, great deals and quality dishes. Please support local business like this, they way they flourish.

Has horrible smell walking in. Order a special and it come with rice and beans I go tell the lady and wants to charge me for her mistake. 20 bucks down the drain.The other plate didn't have taste. Chile Relleno

If you're looking for quick but yet GREAT Mexican food this is the place to go. It's cheap and the portions are a good size it's not busy every time I go which is a plus.

Ehhh. It was okay. Lunch special was $6.99. Three tacos with rice and beans. Chips and salsa. Everyrhing was pretty good except the meat in the tacos. It was really dry and maybe over cooked or had been sitting way too long. The queso was actually good. The quacamole was good too. Anyway....I might retun someday to try again. It seemed okay and didn't make me sick. They seemed nice there. Maybe this place might be "gringo" friendly actually. Most authentic mexican food restaurant s are scary to me; this one seems different.

Best hole in the wall in Garland!! So good they greet you when you come in and help you out with the menu. Great prices for the meals too. They give chips and salsa on the house to start off with so that was nice. I got a torta, 3 taco special, and enchiladas they all tasted amazing! The restaurant is very clean too. Definitely worth coming back!

Tried this place out because we are huge fans of Mexican food and wanted to see if this place out beat me and my husbands fav spot "Nena's" and we must say that it is pretty great!! Love it and as soon as the other nena's!! The only thing that wasn't so great was the menudo.

If you want to find a place with good street tacos, this is the place. The food is always good and the service is awesome. The restaurant it's self is small and clean. I would recommend this to anyone. :)

Three Taco special with rice, beans, chips, salsa and drink - great value and delicious! Husband and I both had a big lunch for under $15. I had Barbados and husband had ground beef.

Amazing authentic Mexican food. They know how to season and cook their food and the customer service is like going to your grandmas house; so polite and patient and makes you feel welcomed. The juices are fresh and taste great too. From horchata to tamarindo and Jamaica. Breakfast is also served all day.

*NEW MANAGEMENT ALERT* I returned to this restaurant for the first time in months, and the food tasted and looked very different. My favorite order, is the flauta plate so I decided to order it again. The flautas look more like taquitos and has potatoes with a little bit of chicken in it. It's unclear if the potatoes are meant to increase the size or if its to cut back on money. Either way it's not good anymore, lacking flavor and taste. This started out as being a good little restaurant but it ultimately didn't survive. In the meantime, I'm sticking with Regio over La Nena!

I really enjoy the tacos they have here. Be sure to keep and eye out for the specials. Has to be the some of the best seasoned fajita and chicken tacos. I would recommend these for anyone who has those cravings right after work to just stuff there face.

Manager Maria has no customer service skills. They have raised their prices. Their food is not all of that. I ordered a side of grilled onions and I was given a side the size of a quarter for $1.00. The manager would not give me the owner information. Avoid eating there if you can. Customer service should be their number one skill!!

Tacos are delicious , and the price is right! Always had friendly and courteous service.
