"A year ago, in June 2023, I made my first visit to La Neta Cocina y Lounge at the Epic in Deep Ellum. It had been open for six months and neighboring restaurant Komodo had opened in April, but I hadn’t yet visited the new duo of clubstaurants at the development. It was a bad experience. The service was up to par, but the music was deafeningly loud, my cocktail was so loaded down with gold leaf that it clogged up the straw, and the food was underwhelming. I was literally served a wooden board smeared with mashed potatoes that had shrimp standing up in it. Perhaps worst of all, as a party of one I was directed to sit at the bar and it smelled — like spilled body shots and employees who don’t care. I left thinking that this complex simply isn’t for me, and maybe it’s not for diners at all. It’s a place for young people who want to party with some food available — and that is fine." - Courtney E. Smith

I had an amazing dining experience at La Neta Cocina y Lounge in Dallas! From the ambiance to the flavors, everything exceeded my expectations. For the main courses, I tried both the steak tacos and the hanger steak dinner—and let me just say, every bite was packed with bold, well-balanced flavors. The steak tacos were tender and juicy, wrapped in soft tortillas with just the right amount of seasoning. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection, rich and flavorful, and paired beautifully with the sides. Would definitely recommend.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday night at 8 PM, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations. Despite the restaurant not being full, the service was noticeably slow—our appetizer took 30 minutes, and the main course took nearly an hour to arrive. Additionally, our waitress checked on us infrequently, which made the wait feel even longer. After voicing our concerns to the manager, he attempted to rectify the situation by offering a free round of drinks and a 5% discount, which we appreciated. However, the drinks were underwhelming—they tasted more like juice, with little to no alcohol noticeable. To make matters worse, I was very disappointed to see a 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill, especially given the poor service. While I always tip for good service, it felt undeserved in this case. On a positive note, the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and great music, which would be the only reason I’d consider returning. However, for food, drinks, and service, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The ambiance is quite lovely, and the bar service is commendable. However, the dining experience did not meet expectations due to several factors. The food appears to be overpriced and was not satisfactory; for instance, the cilantro rice was overcooked and dry, while the shrimp tacos were acceptable but unremarkable. The beans were also unremarkable. For those wishing to enjoy a dining experience, it was disappointing. The music volume was excessive, making conversation difficult for our large group of nearly 20 guests, some of whom experienced a wait of approximately 2 hours for their meals, which is concerning. Additionally, our server exhibited unprofessional behavior. It is customary to receive chips and salsa upon being seated, but we had to request them, which should not be necessary. Water refills were a challenge, too. We could barely put our request in. At this time, I do not plan to return unless there are notable improvements in the quality of food, service, and overall atmosphere.

PLEASE STAY AWAY! We had a horrible experience. I was there to celebrate my birthday and it ended up being the worst decision ever. 1. The food was okay in some dishes but we order the shrimp tacos and they were undercooked and served with the entire shell. 2. They served us with the plates dirty! They didn’t even wash them!!!! Disgusting!! That’s the only photos I was able to take. 3. The drinks were expensive and not worth it at all. I ordered the piña margarita and it was more water than any other ingredients… my friends ordered the pepino alcoholic drink and same experience. In addition, they charge us for the 20oz when we have ordered the 16 oz. 4. The waitress took too long to even bring us water. We even had to walk to the manager for us to get charged because she didn’t know how to charge us when we ask to get split. 5. One of my friends had to wait more than 1 hours to get her food while the rest of us had finished eating by the time she got her food. Overall bad experience. Would never recommend and would never visited again. A waste of money!!!!

I recently dined at La Neta and had a fantastic experience. Our waitress provided amazing customer service—he was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The food was also very good, with each dish being flavorful and well-prepared. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience. Will definitely be returning!

Went in for drinks and appetizers and as soon as we got there loved it, the music was great, the bartender was amazing. I ordered a Paloma and my friend ordered a Sidecar and he did such a great job making them perfect for us!!! The food was amazing and even the chef came out and helped make sure we had a good experience. Will definitely be back.

I had high expectations about this please ! We went on 02/24/25 to watch the Drag Show - when we arrived, I personally ask the host to give us a good spot because we were about to see the drag show, the place had few tables occupied and yet she put us in the worst spot ever we couldn’t even see anything :( it was like she did not care - I asked for a Bloody Mary, they did not have BM( apparently they were out of tomato juice ON SUNDAY BRUNH ) - I wanted to have the oysters, they were out of oysters 😮‍💨 We asked for the check and they were charging us a Bloody Mary that we did not had because they were out - our server stoped taking care of us as soon as the food was in our table , he did not come back not even once to ask if wanted something else or more drinks Overall not sure we want to comeback, the food I felt was overprice and it wasn’t the best it was OK ! The few things I could see about the Drag Show was very good !

First time ever, I enjoyed my food. I got the seafood enchiladas and was amazing. I love my seasoning. Morgan our server was amazing and super welcoming. I had an amazing experience. 🥰🥰 music was so good too.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible experience today. Appetizer (we ordered queso) was cold and thick and chips tasted stale but cocktails were pure juice and sugar. Server seemed super impersonal and just nonchalant about our concerns. Once we received our food it was ice cold to the touch. When we voiced our concerns to the manager, he assured us that not only would our food be re-cooked but that our ticket would be adjusted accordingly. Once it was time to pay, everything charged as normal. I'm not happy with my experience at all and definitely will not be back.

Cynthia L.

Yelp
Worst service and good for the price! Would not recommend, now this pace is asthetic pleasing but nothing else. Don't park Valet bc you have to pay for parking anyway just Valet. The waiters had no clue about what was in stock: for a special event several items were out; I think poor management for the event. Not friendly either. For $79 I like good service. You won't get that here. And eggs tasted like something you get at a Hampton Inn breakfast buffet. Nothing fantastic. One table of 6-9 sat next to us were there 30-40 mins and left - they were never waited on!

Lucy M.

Yelp
A group of 5 of us arrived late in the evening for our reservation quite late and the staff was very accommodating with our 20 minute delay which was awesome. However, the experience was lack luster at best due to the overpriced food that was either salty, overcooked, or just straight up lacking for what you were paying. We had ordered the raw oysters and the Rockefeller oysters upon requests for appetizers and were told they were out. No big deal. My friend ordered the guacamole entree with chorizo which was pretty good and I had the quesadilla with chicken and that had to be the highlight of the whole night. They were out of quite a lot of items for a Friday night which was pretty strange? Drinks were far too sweet and lacked presentation for a place that seems upscale. I had the Dragon Colada and was met with a straight taste of sugar... but our server Kay was so sweet and attentive to everything that we requested she made the experience so much better. This restaurant overall needs to improve on their food selection and drinks because all other reviews I read had similar experiences but I took it with a grain of salt to give it a fair experience. Still disappointed however.

Yelp
If you're looking for a nice aesthetic and cheap happy hour deals, La Neta might be worth a visit--but don't expect good service. HH is 3-6pm, $5 margs and $2 tacos. Neither were outstandingly special. Service was lacking - our orders were messed up several times and then I was overcharged on the bill. This place has potential but can improve on staff attentiveness.

Boxer L.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this place. I will start with positives. The place is cute and our waitress was sweet. That's about it. The drinks were overpriced and not good. We tried 2 maragritas, they were very plain and not original at all. But the worse part was the food. Asada tacos, the meat was impossible to chew. Another order was fish tacos, the corn tortillas were hard and stale. After I brought these concern, no attempts were made to correct the situation. Also beans had no taste. How do you ruin beans? We paid $130 and then went somewhere else to eat. So sad.

Yelp
I chose to have my birthday dinner at La Neta Cocina y Lounge and was very pleased! It was not my first time dining, as I've participated in their happy hour a few times, but dining with a large party can truly put an establishment to the test. The restaurant is gorgeous - certainly gives upscale Miami vibes and it makes sense that they also have a location in Vegas. Such a cute spot for celebrations, date nights and girls' nights alike! I had a party of 12; our server was very patient as it did take some time for everyone to arrive. She was attentive and polite, although not super personable, in demeanor and held her own for majority of our time there as she only had help to bring the food to the table. Everyone enjoyed their meal, which is pretty rare for a large dining group. The food was fresh also which is always a plus. The margaritas (which were described as being on tap) left more to desire so I would personally skip those on the next visit. I deducted one star as when it was time to close our tabs, we were informed they only take 4 checks for a party of our size. While this is not a problem typically, it was not disclosed when the reservation was made nor was it stated anywhere on the menu, etc. Our server did accommodate us as she agreed that there was no prior notification and allowed us to split the tab how we desired. Again, typically not a big deal so long as it is disclosed beforehand. Overall, the experience went pretty smoothly.

Khaila L.

Yelp
AMAZING! Everything from appetizer to main course to the drinks and dessert were fantastic. The atmosphere was amazing too and we had a great time. Service was good, I will be back again for the watermelon shot.

Yelp
Service and food was good, flavorful! Nice ambiance with a great DJ for a nice date night.

Yelp
I came here on a date a few weeks ago and was pretty disappointed. For starters, they were out of lots of dishes, especially the appetizers. The food was decent but nothing crazy. What got me was the waiting. We ended up being there for two hours, and not because we wanted to be. Slowest service ever! Our waitress was very nice and it seemed like everything taking forever was not her fault. I loved the vibes in there so I wouldn't mind going back to try out the bar/lounge area but do not recommend eating there.

Roger C.

Yelp
Just came for a drink. Heard the music outside and thought it might be lively... Cool atmosphere, the entire place has greenery, artwork and lights that make you feel like you are immersed in a Mexican atrium. SERVICE: Not so great. No smiles not really interested in my money....all good. I can try someplace else. Eventually asked me what I wanted. FOOD: (Well drink) Tried the El Diablo which I thought would be spicy since it is supposed to have jalapeño and it's CALLED EL DIABLO!!...but it was very sweet. Tastes like a pre-made drink. If you have other options for drinks, do that. But I have not tried the food, so I don't want to give the impression that the food is not good. But with this experience, probably not going back. Good luck La Neta!

Marlo B.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I attended a birthday dinner for my bestfriends' last weekend and were very impressed by everything La Neta Cocina had to offer. The ambiance is very dim but trendy and sexy. All of the drinks that were ordered at the table were perfect. I personally had the smoke and berries and it was so good. I'm not a fan of the taste of alcohol and this drink hits the mark for me! Strong but mixed so well. Foods ordered at the table were chicken flautas, the empanadas, and wings for appetizers. And for entrees, fried chicken, trash potato, pozole verde, sizzling fajitas, el jefe's pollo, and steak burrito. All the food was outstanding, there were no complaints. We all left extremely full and happy. We ordered the flaming watermelon shots and the presentation was very cool. They ended our night with birthday cake and candles for the birthday girls! That was a great touch and they loved it. Money well spent on our visit and have to say the DJ on Saturday was amazing! It was a vibe!

Lily M.

Yelp
I came here with my best friend for their Best Friend's Brunch. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hostess and escorted to our table. The vibe was amazing, the music was great, DJ Kat Avila was in the house. We had a couple of the Flaming Watermelon Shots, and their $4 Mimosas, which were so good. Both of us had the Breakfast Eggchiladas for our meal, and they were to die for. For our dessert we had the Morning Wood which came with fruit and an assortment of delicious pastries. La neta was truly a great experience and I can't wait to go back.

Federica S.

Yelp
We had heard the hype around La Neta and wanted to try it this past weekend. First thing we noticed was all time slots were open on OpenTable so we did not make a reservation as it was only a few hours before we were planning on going. When we arrived, a host told us if we did not have reservations they could not seat us due to being short on staff. We decided not to go elsewhere since we had valet the car, so we took up the host's suggestion to sit at the bar and still get a full meal there. When the 'server' came up to us at the bar it was immediately apparent they did not know what they were doing: firstly, they did not know how to use the handheld to enter our order, then they had no idea what items were on the menu (when we ordered carnitas tacos she answered back 'Gorditas'? - no, lady, this is not Taco Bell, although the food would have tasted better there). We first asked for the tuna tostadas, which she said they were not available. Then we asked for the Baja fish tacos, which she said also were not available. We settled for carnitas and chicken tacos, previously ordered chips and salsa and guacamole to start. The chips were awful, the salsa mediocre. The guacamole was supposed to be their specialty and contain chorizo (there was no chorizo, in fact it was the most bland guacamole I have ever tasted). The tacos were awful with store-bought tortillas and zero flavor. The carnitas tacos were bitter! Yuck! The chicken tacos were mid, at best. Even the coke was horrendous: no carbonation and ultra sweet. Also, we had to ask for silverware and napkins. Then, the cherry on top of the cake: they automatically added 18% tip to our party of 2. What? However, if you like to feel like a 'celebrity' they seemed to have some dude going around taking trendy pics. Dallas has seen a surge of these vapid 'influencers' type places, lately, that are IG-worthy but sacrifice good taste and quality. Nope, not again. I will never return to the place.

Eddie G.

Yelp
False advertisement! They say it is bottomless margaritas & taco, with a disclaimer!! You only can choose between chicken & pork tacos and margaritas are $5 a piece. It is NOT bottomless!!! THIS IS SOME BULLSHIT!! They are suppose to have unlimited tacos and started every one with 2 tacos. An order of tacos come in three, so why the hell are you shorted one taco?? THEN they don't show up for 40 minutes to see you want more. What kind of shit is that?!?! $20 for unlimited tacos and they never come back around and $21 for an order of three and they still don't come around. Finally when they do come around, they fuck up the order!! How hard is it to bring either chicken or pork tacos?!?! It is what YOU as the restaurant offer but YOU as the restaurant can't get it right!! The staff was more worried about the ticket and how many cards can be held at one time than the service provided & food. We've been here for 2 hours and only have had 3 tacos, I'll let you do the math. Reservations at 7:30pm and here it is 9:30pm. The salsa was from out of a jar. Tostitos has better salsa than their out of jar from whatever they served it from. This is your typical place that is in the downtown area that overcharges & is trying to appeal to the 20 somethings with the club music and low lighting. If you are a foodie, DO NOT COME HERE!! You will be disappointed!! $21 for regular order of 3 tacos!! $7.00 per nasty ass taco?!?! Are you for real?!?! $5 extra if you want steak and $18 more if you want lobster. This place is a joke! I would have done better at Fuzzy's, Torchy's, hell, even Chuy's is better than this place. If it has an apostrophe in it, better than this place! I guarantee you that this place is NOT in the competition for best tacos in Dallas. I will make sure Luda does not come here during the Tacos & Tequila festival! Taco Bell has this place beat!!

LeShea B.

Yelp
Update : I wouldn't recommend coming here during events, holidays, as they aren't organized/ staffed enough to handle the demand of a crowd. Reservations @4pm Wasn't seated until 4:31. We weren't upset about this-- we saw the crowd !! And hey, it's Cinco de Mayo. Understandable. We sat at the back of the restaurant. It was dark, cold, and loud. If I were to go back, I would not sit there. Lounge area or bar ONLY. -The table was wet. -When our server finally came over and sat the menus down, I had to ask her could she dry the table. -the menu presented was not the regular menu. It was a limited menu. The only reason I came here to La Neta was to get the quesadilla. I could've chosen anywhere else. Quesadilla was not on the menu. -nothing on the menu (I didn't get a picture of it) sounded appetizing. -we just ordered chicken flautas ($16) and 2 casamigos margaritas. -the food came out. But we didn't have any waters, no napkin, no silverware. -I asked an employee for water..... because our server never brought any. And I wasn't going to choke on the flauta without a drink. (She brought some out 5-8 min later. But we already had it by then) -Had to ask the runner for silverware /napkins. And even then I didn't get a knife. So I had to use my fork with force to cut the flautas. (I couldn't just eat them. Braces) -The flautas weren't hot. Nor were they as good as they had been in the past. -the waitress brought "free shots" from the bar for the wait.... I didn't drink it. My guest did, and she wasn't a fan. By this time, I flagged the waitress down and told her I wanted to pay. She took the order of 2-3 tables before coming back over to check us out. -the drinks never came.... Paid and left. Had to step over throw up at the main entrance to just get out. Valet also was $15. And it took almost 10 min to get my vehicle. I was the only one waiting. They lost the vehicle because it was parked in another location. Listen.... La neta has ONE more chance with me. That's it. And that's ONLY because I want their quesadilla again. I have a feeling, though, that it'll be my last time.

Sarah M.

Yelp
I am a Vegas local so the original one is a favorite. This location is abysmal. It took 35 minutes to get water and lukewarm queso with stale chips on a dead Sunday night. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get our food, where they forgot half of what we ordered. They also got our entrees wrong. Finally, we were charged a flat 20% gratuity with an additional 3% service charge, neither of which are stated online or anywhere. I genuinely don't know how this place is still in business. Go to the Vegas location if you're ever on vacation. It's INFINITELY better.

Kenya R.

Yelp
First it was close to the end of Lauren's shift, and we could tell. They didn't have soap at the sink of either end of the bathroom. They were informed of it twice! Once by someone in my party 30 minutes before I went to the restroom then I said something when I came out. The food is meh. I got the flatbread which was just okay. The papas con truff was trash. Not one grain of salt and the truffle oil was cheap. I tasted my friend's flautas which were more like egg rolls and they were decent. The drinks were just ok. The happy hour would be great if the good and drinks were great. It ends at 7. At the shift change, we got a new server and she was nice. I don't remember her name. I don't have to return, but now I can say I tried it.

Karen T.

Yelp
Los chilaquiles where below Average. The salsa didn't cover the entire chips and the eggs are only available shambled.

Erica E.

Yelp
2 stars for these reasons. Place was empty but they sat us next to the bathroom facing all the employees at the bar back. Awkward- what was also awkward was the lighting. Pozole verde was too spicy to even eat. My tongue is still tingly. Food was ok. Service was nice but if the place is empty don't sit me next to the bathroom or a trash can.

Liz F.

Yelp
First time on a Sunday for brunch and it didn't disappoint. Location was a little hidden which was unexpected but we were pleasantly surprised as we walked in. Loved the decor and the ambiance is very nice. It was darker and louder than I'd like but the music was on point. The bartender was amazing and the drinks were delicious! I had a regular margarita and a Pepino Margarita. My favorite was the Pepino margarita 100%. For food we ordered the Trash-quiles and Brisket Tostadas. The Tostadas were good but the Trash-quiles were awesome and the portion is enough for two. We missed the drag show but now we know where to go for good drinks and entertainment on a Sunday. Will be back!

Savitri B.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. Went for a Galentine's event. Great location, great vibes and a great DJ. However, that's where the accolades stop. The food is lazy, to describe it in one word. We were served burnt polenta pancakes and shrimp that were cooked so long ago they were cold and rubbery. The hash was also a disappointment, with meat that had been cooked and kept warm to the point of dryness. The same condiments were on everything, but were also the only source of seasoning/flavor. We did have some decent cocktails, but nothing I wouldn't have preferred paired with a good meal. Overall, it's not worth returning.

Alejandra R.

Yelp
AMAZING TIME SUNDAY FUN DAY great food !! drag show was so fun will be coming again !

Jessica B.

Yelp
Thankfully we were able to get a table without reservation the day after Christmas. It took us a little while to wave down our server but he was attentive from then on. The music was audible and lighting very dim; definitely gave the setting a lounge feel. Unfortunately, they were out of a few things we wanted from the menu but because it was our second stop we ended up with the flauta appetizer and a couple of cocktails including espresso martini drink made with horchata. The food was bomb but the drink was too sweet and thick for my taste. Our server sent us on our way with a couple of fiery shots (loveee) and I'd definitely like to try it again sometime soon when we have more time.

Madilin G.

Yelp
The ambiance was super gorgeous but the service was overall poor. The food was also amazing, maybe a little overpriced for what it is but I don't usually mind overpaying for food. I wish the service could have been better for what I paid for. One of the staff members was vaping in front of my table, our waiter rarely checked on us, and overall nobody really made me and my party feel welcomed. I would recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere to stop for a quick drink, but not to bring a party or go on date.

Linh Q.

Yelp
This place wasn't good at all to me, sadly. The ambiance was beautiful but it was too dark, way too dark in there. The meat Wasn't tender. The corn was nothing special , the lobster was okay. They had ran out of food selections, and they were supposed to light this thing for the meat presentation and it failed lol Overall I wouldn't be back

Keva O.

Yelp
PLEASE CLOSE THE DOORS! We visited on Friday evening and the place was pretty empty. No Oysters. No clean GLASSES. No Takeout containers for leftovers. Food was questionable. Cut LaNeta's lease short and let whatever the new restaurant move in already.

Reina B.

Yelp
This place had very poorly stocked bar, everything we asked for they did not have so you couldn't even try items from the specialty drink menu or even order a bottle champagne. We sat in a lounge area for an hour and a half that did not specify that it was reserved and after we purchased a 2nd round pretty terrible drinks some sketchy host abruptly came over and asked rudely if we had reserved the area. We had not so I told him we would finish up and move but he basically said no you have to move now. Staff was TERRIBLE, cocktails were abysmal, not to mention the dirty dusty fake plants and super stained chairs in the lounge area. Just know they automatically charge 20% gratuity on any check which they do not deserve!!!

Justin M.

Yelp
The food, drinks and atmosphere was perfect. Joined my friends for happy hour and had great service from Paul. We dined on signature drinks, queso, shrimp ceviche, flautas and empanadas. The salsa was very hot but delicious.

Taylor J.

Yelp
Food was bland and they were running low on everything. From not having enough drinking glasses, no fish, and take away containers for the not packed at all restaurant. And service was slow. They also had the heat blasting which was fine but they didn't refill our glass once without having to be asked so it got hot pretty quick. Music was way too loud!

Jessica R.

Yelp
I can't say I'll ever go back - this place added in a hidden 3% service fee in the breakdown of the check rather than than in line with the taxes - this fee also wasn't shown on the menu - the service was also crap and they had the audacity to charge a guaranteed 20% gratuity. So in total they charged us a 23% tip. The blue/purple sauce had 0 flavor and no truffle was found in anything like listed on the menu - food came in about 4 different waves for our group and we were ignored when one persons wasn't delivered for over 30 min after the rest of us. We had such problems getting water refilled that some ppl in our group had to go to the bathroom and get water out of the sink. I would not recommend to anyone and I won't be returning.

Demetria C.

Yelp
For starters, this establishment has the slowest service that I've ever received in my life. My sister recommended this restaurant and although they had mixed reviews, we decided to go check it out for ourselves. We arrived at 13:27 for our 13:30 reservation and were immediately seated. At 14:50 (see attached photo of empty glasses & no food) we were still waiting for our food and the option to order another drink. The waiter apologized for the slow service for drinks and food, and gave us a free glass of Lamarca. When the food arrived, it was not worth the wait. This visit was my first and last visit to La Neta Cocina y Lounge.

Dirk S.

Yelp
Stopped in for the first time on father's day to grab some drinks after brunch. We had around 9-10 drinks and they were all amazing! Amanda was an awesome bartender and had great recommendations. We didn't have any food this time, but we will be back again. The brunch and dinner menu looked creative and we saw a lot of items we wanted to try in the future.

Waitress was very inattentive, no water refills or anything she never came to check on us. We waited an hour for our food (waitress did not even come to update or anything we had to ask someone else) and when the food finally came out it was so cold. Table next to us was getting prioritized for whatever reason. Never had service this bad honestly. Would not recommend food was subpar even if it had come out hot.

Yelp
**Extremely Disappointing Experience** This was probably one of the worst dining experiences I've had in Dallas in quite some time. We ordered a variety of dishes, including ceviche, Rockefeller oysters, and raw oysters. Unfortunately, the only highlight was the raw oysters--because they were impossible to mess up. The overall food quality was reminiscent of a basic mom-and-pop restaurant, certainly not what you'd expect from a place claiming to be upscale. To make matters worse, the kitchen got several orders wrong and even forgot to bring out some dishes entirely. On top of that, our waiter attempted to upcharge us on a bottle of wine, quoting $300 for something listed at $175 on the menu. All in all, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone. This is far below the standard we expect from a so-called 5-star restaurant in Dallas.

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday at La Neta with a group of 14 ladies, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Despite our large party, the servers were incredibly patient . The pictures turned out amazing! I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
The heat was not working and it was extremely cold this day in the 30's. We had to wear our jackets for dinner. Dinner took 45 min to get & there was only one other table. Then the food came to us cold. There had to be issues with their heater but no staff was acknowledging it. Only reason I gave a star is the drinks were good. We were celebrating a birthday so luckily we had good company. One of the worst experiences overall I have ever had at a restaurant. ,

Yelp
Wait staff was great, Taco Tuesday deal was awesome especially given the food was great. The margarita was strong! Saw a random post about this place online wanted to try and it was definitely worth it, plus they have a nightly turn up that starts at 8 pm

Yelp
As a Vegas local I'm familiar with La Neta and the Dallas location did not disappoint! They have a beautiful buildout that is super instagrammable. The food was delicious Mexican elevated cuisine. The service was first class and although we left around 9 pm, it seemed to be evolving into a great late night spot to drink and dance. The margs are only $7 which is such a steal as they tasted like true high end craft cocktails. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Yelp
Overall disappointed, I expected a better experience given the fact that it seems to be so popular on social media. Starting off wasn't a big fan of the big couch seating...makes it awkward when trying to eat your meal. Food took forever to arrive we placed our order and around 20-30 min later we were told our order wasn't place correctly so we had to place it again. Once we received our order the rice was cold yet the rest was good no complaints. Drinks were good! Would recommend this place if you are looking to enjoy a couple of drinks with friends while enjoying some music.

Yelp
The stars are definitely for the ambiance, beauty, and service of the restaurant. The food was not up to par. We got a few appetizers to be able to try different things. The quesadilla was a disappointment. They tried to be "innovative" but it was sloppy and lacked flavor. The empanadas which were shrimp by the way were very little the size of the shrimp, but they tasted ok, the sauce helped. And the "must have" flautas were not at all a must have. Cooked well but basic. I did think the chips and salsa were good and water refreshing. The biggest disappointment was the tres leches cake. There was NOTHING tres leches about it. I was confused by the whole dessert. If you want a place that cute and photo ops gooooo it's a beautiful restaurant but if you came to eat don't! It's really pricey and for it not to be that good, it's a total let down.

Yelp
Their flautas appetizer is so good. This place is great for a girls night. I came here with my girlfriend to celebrate my birthday and the chef was so kind. They brought out a chocolate cake for my birthday and it was DELICIOUS. Drinks are also good and strong. If you come here ask for Sal, he's a great waiter.

Yelp
I made the mistake of hosting my birthday dinner here. Honestly I was mortified that I inadvertently subjected my friends to this place. The service was atrocious, and the food was underwhelming at best. Everyone's food came at wildly different times. A friend that drove 40 miles to be there didn't even get her food until most of us were done eating. It wasn't that busy so I don't understand why the service was so terrible.

Yelp
I was excited to visit this restaurant. However, I was disappointed with the food and drinks. My husband and I ordered street tacos as an appetizer and shared the combo fajitas of steak, chicken, and shrimp. The food was very subpar, the steak was cooked hard. We didn't touch it. The fajitas came out without cheese or sour cream. The drinks were not good either. The only thing that was decent was the Mac and Cheese. Not worth the trip, won't be back.

Yelp
READ THE REVIEWS! Chips stale. Food is salty. Water cup had lipstick on it. Music is too loud. Rice was disgusting and hard. Ceviche had a shell and my Pozole was waaaaay too salty and looked more like salsa. Customer service sucks ass. Don't let this pretty place fool you. Change your severs and cooks. The first server asked us to put 3 cards down? Like wtf?!

Yelp
Ambience (5stars), everything! Food not so much. Although I had a great time and met some pretty amazing women here, the food did not meet my expectations for the price. I ordered the trash potatoes and they were very mediocre to be priced at $45. The spicy mango margarita was enjoyable, but our server had a very nasty attitude, and kept quoting prices of the tables that was reserved by our host (very unprofessional). The event coordinator was very attentive and making sure our party was serviced and even assigned a second server to accommodate the party. I probably won't go back unless it's for happy hour in photo ops.

Yelp
Tik Toks really hyped up La Neta so much, we had try it out. The Tuesday all-you-eat street tacos and bottomless margaritas is what really peaked our interest so we planned a visit to kick off our trip to vegas that same night. We quickly found out bottomless margaritas were bottomless at $5 each, still not a bad price for unique flavors of margis. The cucumber one went great with our meal. Now, the all-you-can eat street tacos is a great idea IF you get an attentive server, otherwise, plan on being there to get your $20 worth of tacos unless you think $10, $5 or $4 is worth the price for each mini street tacos. Don't plan on supplementing your meal with chips and salsa because La Neta (the truth) is, there ain't none. Once we saw the tacos were far and few apart, by the way, the fillings decreased with each order, we decided to give the beet jicama salad a try. This was great and very refreshing and flavorful. The only picture I took was of dessert. We ordered Abuelas Buenuelos. The buenuelo was fresh and very tasty and cutely shaped as a heart but the ice cream came with a protective layer of ice, just like we'd get at our dear old Abuela's house. Lastly, if you're ok with unisex bathrooms this place is for you. Our reservation was for 6pm and for it being that early, these bathrooms looked like I would imagine them at closing. La Neta (the truth) be told, we won't be returning.

Yelp
Beautiful decor inside. Happy hour is ONLY at the bar. The service was alright. It wasn't that busy and our person wasn't being attentive. I had to asked for water twice. The drinks can be very pricey. My friends got the drink in the white big cup and the difference in price was almost 15$ bucks. We were like "do you take the cup home?!" Let's get down to the food: - oysters was the best! - fried calamari was ok, they were very salty - tuna tar tar definitely a no. you can taste the smoke. i like it smelling from the ocean - mac and cheese with cheetos is a no go for me but if you like that combine it can be really good Overall it was OK. Looking forward to joining at the bar next time.

Yelp
Brandon was our waiter, excellent service, the only reason I gave the rating of 3 stars instead of 2 is because of him actually. Kudos to Brandon. This food OVERALL was extremely mediocre to me. Bill was $267 which was to be expected, but for the quality of the food? no ma'am. 1. Calamari - was lots of bread. Airy but I tasted more breading than actual squid. 2. Ceviche - the best thing we had honestly. This was a 7/10. 3. Flautas - overhyped in my opinion. 4. The trash potatoes - the potatoes are small and once you eat the meat there isn't much potato left. See for yourself. 5. Elote - this was good. 6. Brussels sprouts - cooked to perfection, but flavor wasn't very prominent. 7. Lobster enchiladas - these were BARELY lukewarm, tortilla was tough, couldn't cut through it easily. Flavor was just not doing it for me. $45 for 2 of them and these are a la carte. 8. Mac n cheese - I honestly didn't taste this because I thought it looked gross. My husband did and said it tasted like regular Mac n cheese with a hint of hot Cheeto flavor. The ambiance is what you're paying for. Would I go back? No. But I do think if you're reading this you should check it out and form your own opinion.
