LA NOUVELLE REPUBLIQUE, BOUTIQUE HOTEL : HAMMAM, MASSAGE & COWORKING

Love this hotel. Second time. Rooms are relatively large, breakfast is great, and the service is very warm. We love the neighborhood which is not touristy, but hip and authentic with lots of people hanging out at wine bars and brasseries in the evenings. A couple of very good restaurants nearby too. Looking forward to our third visit…

Would definitely stay here again! The staff is friendly and greeted us whenever we came through. Bikes are available to rent for 20 euros each. There is a small elevator to transport luggage. The king bed room was bigger than I expected and had ample space to lay out luggage and walk around. Really appreciate the water and tea available in the room. The bathroom was very clean. The shower is spacious and we loved the rain shower head. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed opening our windows and watching the rain or hearing the sounds of the streets which isn't too loud.

We have just returned to this gorgeous hotel, for the second year. We really love it here. It’s a wonderful hotel, a little slice of calm in Paris! it’s wonderful for groups, families etc. the hospitality is so generous, warm and welcoming. Gorgeous breakfasts, dining spaces and great showers!! Thanks so much again for having us! We’ll be back xx

Three of us went to Paris for the marathon and then stayed for the fun. I loved the small coziness of the hotel. Ijlal and the rest of the staff made us feel like family and remembered our names. They made us egg whites every morning (it is a great breakfast!), and found us a quick bucket with ice to chill our champagne the last night. The location is close to the metro which was perfect. My room was spacious with a large bathroom and plenty of room to unpack everything. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location - short walk to various different Metro options. Lots of bar, cafe and restaurant options nearby - we loved Soif bar and Charbon brasserie.|The rooms are thoughtfully decorated - very cool and contemporary with nice touches. Very comfortable bed, powerful shower, Bluetooth speaker, triple glazing that kept all the street noise out. There is a bit of noise from the air filtration system that is always there - like a quiet fan - might bother some people. |Breakfast was good for the price. The lift is TINY!! but we loved that as there were only two of us. We didn’t get chance to try the hammam - hopefully next time. |Be careful to read the instructions for the safe so you don’t lock your passports in there and panic as you can’t get them out on your last day - thank you to the manager Ijlal for sorting that out for us!

The room was very small, just enough to walk around the bed but nothing more. The windows and doors were excellent, sealing out noises of the street. AC / vent was non-functional for several nights so needed to open windows to get room cool enough to sleep and impossible to sleep with noises from street parties that lasted until 430am. Bathroom was good. Service was fine. Location good a few blocks away from metro and a several places to get food. Breakfast was mediocre and not worth the cost. Elevator tiny - just big enough for a suitcase and one small person. Stairs are not even but probably just like every other small budget hotel. Overall it is a decent place for the price but they need to make sure the AC works 100% of the time and improve the breakfast offerings. Also, no snacks at all available outside of breakfast time.

Overall a very pleasant experience. The staff is very nice and they are all trying their best. 4 stars because I think the room needs to have a little update and breakfast was a bit poor. Plus location might seem a bit sketchy during the night. But def recommend to stay here, it is a good price.

La Nouvelle République is the perfect place to visit Paris if you want to live the real parisian experience. Located in the Ménilmontant neighborhood, this vibrant area gives a unique blend of authenticity, culture, and convenience that made my stay truly special. People here are super friendly. It feels like a small village within the big city and well connected with quick access to the main spots (Louvre, Notre Dame, Sacré Coeur, Opera de Paris...). Also food here is incredible with a mix of restaurants, cafes, and shops. From traditional French bistros to exotic eateries offering flavors from around the world (visit Belleville Market) every meal was an experience . The hotel, with modern, stylish rooms, made me feel right at home. The bed was super cozy, and the room was spotless, with all the amenities I needed. The quality of the hotel is top-notch, and you can tell they pay attention to the little details. The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations (special shoutout to Ijlal, you are the best 😉) I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Paris!
