La Nova Pizza & Steak NE

I recently visited La Nova Ne and let me tell you, their cheesesteak and pizza game is on point! The cheesesteak was loaded with meat and bursting with flavor. And don't even get me started on the pizza - it was cooked to perfection and made with high-quality ingredients. I found the prices at La Nova Ne to be completely reasonable for the quality of food they offer. Trust me, it's worth every penny. If you happen to be in Northeast Philadelphia, I highly recommend stopping by La Nova Ne. If you're not from the area, make sure to add this spot to your must-try list for your next visit. You won't regret it!

The chicken was unseasoned, cooked super hard and really dry. The sauce was pretty good though. The pizza was average as far as toppings but the crust had a weird after taste like the oven needed to be cleaned. The steak was average as well, I asked for ketchup and mayo and it was so light I can't honestly say if there was any on there or not. The pickles were really salty and the sweet peppers were really hard. It was overall ok but I wouldn't make the drive back.

I saw this place on fb and after seeing the reviews from jl Jupiter I said ok gotta try it so I did. I went on 12/30 I brought two cheesesteaks with salt pepper mustard ketchup and fried onions the second one a pizza steak now i know the pizza steak goes in the oven but it was so burnt and dry little sauce. no ketchup on the other but ketchup packs no mayo and dry as well but still good my mom enjoyed it. My first mistake was not checking my food before I left. The wait was 35 mins cool some what crowded. The guy on the phone and in person was very pleasant. So disappointed with my sandwich i took the meat off added my sauce and cheese put it on a plate. My experience wasnt what I was expecting for the first time I wish I could have eaten the bread instead of on a plate but I wasnt throwing my $15 down the drain. I hope the next time I do decide to give them another try im not disappointed. FYI they do put alot of meat on the rolls so that was a plus.

Hands down the BEST cheesesteak in Philadelphia!!! Are you kidding me with this gigantic sandwich!? The amount of steak you receive in your cheesesteak is truly mind blowing. The sesame seeded roll was spot on perfect as well. I will absolutely be coming back here plus spreading the word on this hidden gem on Frankfort. 🏆🥇🪙👏👏👌🤌

**La Nova Pizza – Frankford Ave** Ordered a **small pizza**, half plain and half mushroom, made with light sauce. It was very tasty & great flavor, and the mushrooms were cooked just right without overpowering the slice. The **honey BBQ wings** were cooked perfectly. Crispy, juicy, and full of flavor ,definitely a standout. Tried the **chicken parm sandwich** next. The chicken was well-seasoned and cooked nicely, but it was a little light on the sauce. I personally would’ve liked a bit more sauce since the cheese slightly overpowered the sandwich. Finished with a **cheesesteak with mushrooms, onions, and Cooper Sharp** packed with meat and super cheesy. Very satisfying and filling. **Overall:** Solid spot on Frankford Ave with generous portions and good flavor across the board. Worth checking out 👍🍕

Busy busy busy! I ordered from here before. Ended up getting the wrong order but I kept it anyways and it was pretty good, so I went back for the order I actually wanted this time. This time the cheesesteak was honestly quite bland. As you can see in the photo, the pieces of chicken were huge and didn’t seem to be chopped or seasoned well. I understand that this is a very busy, popular spot and they are trying to get orders out as fast as possible, but it was incredibly packed inside. The staff, however, were EXCELLENT. They were extremely nice and helpful despite the chaos. I actually felt a bit bad for them because it is such a tight space with so many workers having to navigate around each other. Great service, but the sandwich just didn't live up to the hype for me.

This place is amazing! La Nova Pizza & Steak NE is set up primarily for delivery or takeout, it's not a dine-in spot, but they do have a small counter ledge if you want to enjoy a quick bite on the go. We ordered four menu items, and every single one was outstanding: 1. Spicy Pepperoni Pizza - Mozzarella, tomato sauce, long hots, Mike's Hot Honey, and pepperoni. The combination of sweet heat and fresh ingredients was excellent. The crust was bubbly, perfectly baked, and had that crisp, flavorful undercarriage that makes you appreciate every bite. 2. White Pizza with Spinach and Ricotta - Made with mozzarella and extra virgin olive oil, and we added spinach and ricotta cheese. This was a total banger! The crust on this pie was insane, light, crisp, big bubbles, and flavorful. Even my wife was wowed by it. 3. Cheesesteak with American Cooper Sharp - This sandwich was a monster! Packed with tender ribeye on a seeded roll with onions mixed in, it was juicy, flavorful, and simply incredible. Honestly, one of the best, if not the best, cheesesteaks I've ever had. 4. R.P. Cutletini Chicken Cutlet Sandwich - House-breaded chicken cutlets, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and balsamic vinaigrette. This was my personal favorite. The cutlets were tender yet crispy, the ingredients fresh, and the roll soft and perfectly balanced. Just an excellent sandwich all around. La Nova Pizza & Steak NE is absolutely a must-try if you're in the area. Whether you're craving top-quality pizza or a killer sandwich, this spot delivers, literally and figuratively. The food quality is exceptional, portions are generous, and the pricing is very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended!

I wanted to like this place. Saw them on social media, it looked great. I get there, they say it’s a half an hour wait. That’s fine. 10 minutes later my pizza is done. 20 minutes after that my cheesesteak is done. 10 minutes after that my chicken cheesesteak is done. All the food is cold. I can’t even properly judge it because it was all cold. Also the menu prices are not the real prices. I understand waiting an hour for Angelo’s. They have a line down the block. This place wasn’t even busy. Whatever system they got going is just bad. Sandwiches just sitting on the counter waiting to be wrapped for like 10 minutes. The cashier was nice though.
