Taquería Once Mil serves excellent, high-quality tacos in a more elevated taquería setting. We tried the sirloin tacos, arrachera, campechanos, and arrachera with a cheese crust — all of them were fantastic. The meat quality really stands out, the tortillas are handmade, and the salsas are great.
As soon as you sit down, they bring thick crinkle-cut chips with salsa and Valentina, which is a nice touch and very tasty. For dessert, we had the tres leches cake with strawberry and meringue — delicious and a great way to finish the meal.
The food is definitely the highlight here. The only downsides were the very loud music, which makes conversation difficult, and the wait time — we waited about an hour for a table. That said, if you’re looking for high-end tacos with great ingredients and solid execution, this place delivers.
