I was invited to the terrasse opening at La Paella, and even though classic Montréal spring weather made a surprise appearance (yes, the rain came and we had to move inside), the evening still had such a great vibe.
I started with a glass of their white wine sangria—light, fruity, and way too easy to sip. Then came the tapas lineup: spicy patatas bravas, creamy salade russe, salty prosciutto, and a playful chicken poutine that gave a fun Québécois twist to the Spanish spread. Everything was cozy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing.
The terrasse itself is super charming, with a view of the Village that’s full of energy and personality. I’ll definitely be back when the sun decides to stick around. And while this event was all about the tapas, I’ve got my eye on their paella next time—I mean, it is in the name.
