"La Paix is supported by five thematic elements: Japan, harmony, spirit, connection and the senses. The element of Japan enters in the form of ‘French cuisine from Japan’. As a native of Wakayama Prefecture, the chef sources Kishu Ume and makes a type of butter from them. Blancmange of Tartary Buckwheat is a treat found nowhere else. A fusion of Japanese and French influences that fits perfectly in Nihombashi, the crossroads of old and new Japan." - Michelin Inspector

Excellent dining experience. Reasonably priced but offered full course of high-ended produce. Each course was amazing and full of surprises, and each bite was fulfilled with excitement. Each dishes was elegantly presented and very enjoyable on their flavour. Their staff were very thoughtful and polite, and they detailed explained to us each dishes. We were taken great care of. They gave taken great care of our dietary restriction. Cozy environment. Especially like that non alcoholic pairing and each drink was specially designed. In addition, the plate drawing for celebration was just too elegant. Overall, highly recommended for all purpose dining. My wife and I share same thought, the restaurant deserved more than one Michelin star for their food and they are by far one of the best restaurant we have visited.

We celebrated our anniversary here and had an absolute fantastic evening. The ingredients of the courses were excellent and very harmonic. Also the wine pairing was very satisfactory. I also want to highlight the wagyu course, I can't remember too many occasions of having such a perfect piece of beef. Thank you a lot for the evening!

They’ve earned their impending second Michelin star. The wine list was impeccable, down to our server’s correct pronunciation of often mispronounced French wine terms. They carefully monitored our eating pace — mine was slower than the two people with me. They noticed my amazement with their glassware and let me know the makers of each. The food made me tear up multiple times. The kitchen moved at a steady and calm pace. Acqua Panna service is a good sign anywhere. Really marvelous. Well on their way to 3 stars.

Food was a once in a lifetime experience. It’s art that’s edible with such complex flavors. The service was top tier. They were kind of enough to translate the meal in English while also being very personable. In the end, they walk outside with you to say goodbye and give you a sweet treat to take. The few negative reviews that are left are unreliable and are comments that are absurd like complaining about not being walked out to their car. La Paix is such a MUST TRY. They deserve all 3 Michelin Stars.

We had an incredible 1988 Pinot and they have some selections like this in the $100 range. Unfortunately the food fell relatively flat for us. There were a few stunning dishes, and then a few others that we outright did not like. I don’t have a problem with this at all though..tasting menus are creative and chef’s take chances..I get and appreciate it. That said as someone who’s been fortunate to enjoy some amazing tasting menus recently, I have to dock a few stars given the hit-or-miss nature of the the ~10 courses we enjoyed.
