La Pampa Relais (Melizzano, Campania) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Almost hidden by its lush garden, this interesting agriturismo with its own winery is home to a small country hotel with a low environmental impact and high level of individual appeal. Shabby chic-style decor and guestrooms named after traditional trades (lute maker, cobbler, blacksmith etc). The small spa and restaurant complete the facilities which add a unique feel to your stay here." - Tablet Hotels

Wow what a beautiful oasis away from the busy and loud city. The nature surroundings were beautiful, the rooms equally beautiful. There were several relaxing pools to choose from. The food was top quality. They grow all their own vegetables which you can tell. You eat the chicken they raise and they even had their own wine which was delicious! I had a very nice foot massage that put me to sleep! The staff were lovely. 100% recommend.

Very nice and cozy hotel, everybody is very friendly and kind. A lot of details all around the place that make it kind of special! They have their own winery, producing very good wines. Also the food in the restaurant is very good and different to the “normal” Italian courts. A lot of the products used to prepare the food are from their own garden, very organic and ecological. The pool invites to just relax and come down from the daily stress, perfect for taking a rest, enjoying a Spritz and forget about everything else.

Unreliable accomodations. We booked a double room, and the hotel assigned another guest to the same suite. We now have a roommate. There is a paper-thin room divider; we can hear each other whisper across rooms. If you are looking for any privacy, intimacy, or romance, save your money and stay elsewhere. ***Reply to the owner***" We were not moved from the room. It is a lovely space for one reservation or group, but incredibly awkward and uncomfortable to share with another guest of your hotel.

What a slice of heaven! Beautiful setting with multiple small pools and a spa. The rooms are delightfully, but tastefully eccentric (ours was music themed and had a cello-shaped wardrobe). The staff were unfailingly lovely and the food - much of which comes from their own gardens and small farm - was delicious. Well worth the trip!

We wanted a overnight excursion to a spa to relax and got just that! Reception and greeting - we arrived to a warm greeting with a man and a woman - both were professional and helpful! Check in was easy and our room was exactly as it was pictured online! The room - charming, artistic retreat with whimsical details inspired and made from Mother Earth. The bed was comfortable enough though a soft mattress topper would have helped. The spa - it’s absolutely fantastic, and includes a lovely sauna, steam room, cold shower, and indoor soaking pool. We got massages and thought they were top notch! The spa staff were friendly and professional— and the spa was spotlessly clean! We selected dinner with our board and it was delicious, although portions were smaller than typical especially the pasta which is surprising because pasta isn’t really that expensive. It was strange to also have such a similar first plate to the third. if you enjoy a lot of “different” taste exp. If you get “dinner board” included - note it doesn’t include any wine - not even one glass — which again is strange because it is a winery and you’d think they’d want to promote that tasting. We didn’t realize this until we got the bill the next morning. We drank a lot and ordered a bottle of wine so we didn’t expect it all to be included but certainly a glass each with dinner - we’ve been to higher end spas and winery (Mastroberdino and our dinner included a complete Tasting. We literally spent the same there that we did here ( for spa, room , dinner and Mastroberdino included full unlimited wine tasting and included dessert - here dessert was separate and cost 12 euros each and was not even remotely worth that — again we didn’t know dessert wasn’t included until the next day - no big deal for us but it demonstrated that the value of our stay here didn’t compare to that which we’ve gotten elsewhere. Hence the 3 star rating. ) Apertivo - we asked for wine and Apertivo. We got a glass of wine each, two pieces of cheese and a piece of salmi each. Seemed a little small on serving size and not typical for other Italian Apertiv experiences _ especially since we continued to drink and spent over 85 euros on wine. The ambiance - this place really knows how to create a great ambiance. It was so comfortable and enjoyable to sit in the main dining area looking outside into the cast property. Both the spa and dining area were just picture perfect. We loved the music in both. All in all a good stay however pricey for what was included. We might return in the summer because maybe the pools add value;) And we did enjoy their wine! Very wonderfully nice and professional staff!

I spent a weekend at La Pampa with a small group of friends and it was a marvellous one!||||The hotel is very cozy, with well designed rooms and a nice spa to pamper guest during the day. The personnel was all extremely kind and did their best to accommodate the needs of everybody in the group. The outside swimming pool is also quite beautiful and we could luckily take advantage of the warm sunny day so unusual given that we were so late in the fall.||||I also went jogging in the morning and I've to say I was surprised by the beautiful natural surroundings of the hotel. As said it looked to me as I had found a new Tuscany with kindly sloped hills and beautiful vegetation.||||We were all very impressed with the cooking ability of the Chef Antonio. He prepared for us two amazing meals using very high quality ingredients all locally sourced. And the breakfast, with lots of home made cakes, was as exceptional as our previous night dinner.||||Cannot wait to repeat again the wonderful experience..... hopefully for a slightly longer stay!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in Juli 2016 during a roadtrip through South Italy with the family. The rooms were booked through Booking.com.||The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. They are not huge, but decent in size.||The hotel is situated in a very green area, quite a bit away from the next town, so you will most likely be eating at the hotel (very nice food!). They have a big outdoor pool and beautiful gardens. If you are looking for peace and nature this is a very good place.||Be aware that on weekends they cater mostly to wedding parties.

First of all, this hotel/inn is on a gorgeous piece of property. Everything about the grounds is wonderful! A perfect place to enjoy nice weather outside. Also, the restaurant, where we had 1 dinner and 1 light lunch is excellent. Breakfast is OK, similar to other places we stayed. The staff is very nice and always helpful, making reservations, etc. The only downside was the room itself - we stayed in a "Prestige" room, the one with all the musical instruments as decoration. It just is not a practical place to stay for more than one night, no places to put things, i.e. luggage, drawers for clothes, etc. And the Wi-Fi is extremely poor. If they would update this room, making it more functional, we would stay again.
