La Panadera

I can't believe I only live 10 minutes away and I just now found out about La Panaderia. There are so many options to chose from and their customer service was also amazing. I got four pastries for only $7. They currently do not accept credit cards, but you can pay with cash or debit. I would 💯 recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

What an amazing bakery. They have more than just your typical sweet bread. They have some pretty amazing creations that can be used at parties and get together‘s. They have cake by the slice and whole cakes. I was very very impressed at the selection of refrigerated pastries available. I was helped by Samantha, who is very sweet and helpful. I bought a vanilla cake with strawberry whipped cream and it was pretty good. I could tell the cake was a couple of days old, but I ate every single bite of it. 😀 Location is very easy to pull up to and you could pull around the side park. It’s easy to walk to as well. I inquired about custom birthday cakes, and Samantha said that for a basic cake, only a couple or a few days advance order is necessary. They have some incredible creations.

I was visiting a friend in Forest Grove, I live in Portland, and found this place and decided to check it out based on the great reviews. It did not disappoint- the pastries are incredible!! Now I'm wishing I didn't live so far. The pastries are huge, incredibly delicious, and very reasonably priced. I hope this place expands to another location nearer to me!

The pastries were great and seemed a lot more fresh than the places in Hillsboro. The only thing I can say would improve things is to greet the customer, as the cashier was on the phone most the time.The receipt was not itemized but I did get a nice cake slice from the fridge, a cookie, and a concha for $9, so it was reasonably priced.

The cakes are beautiful, delicious and you can tell they are fresh. We tried them when they first opened and now buy cakes from them everytime we need a cake. They also pull through everytime I've called last minute and I really appreciate it. Even though it's last minute you wouldn't know by how perfect their cakes are here are some examples.

Best bread around! The owner, Lucy is always so kind. I have ordered cakes a day before and has always been so polite about never been upset. Unlike other places where they ask to call a week ahead. You can tell the cakes are always fresh never old. Absolutely recommend this place! Shop and support local!

Went in to grab a birthday cake. They didn't have any tres Leches but offered to make me one 💙 never in my life have I walked into a bakery and they offer to make a cake. It was ready in about an hour or so. Very delicious and the frosting wasn't overly sweet. I recommend this place 100% 🥰

First initial: just the experience. Place smells amazing. You walk in and BAM! Light sweet smell just enveloped me. You grab a tray and load up with what. You want. They have coolers at the counter and you can order tamales. I got chicken. Little hung up how to say 12 in Spanish. All the very little i do know left me in the spot. Not ashamed i used my fingers I will update once i taste it. Update: Pastries are amazing. I sat in my car and at halves w my coffee. I popped a tamale because they smelled so good. I have not had one wrapped in banana before. I feel like it keeps the moisture better, though i did feel the masa was too soft. I needed a fork and thats is not something i am use to. The flavor was amazing. just the right amount of spice.

This is a beautiful little Mexican bakery absolutely packed with an amazing preponderance of options!! Just grab a tray and tongs and go around the shop picking out goodies. a delightful experience. WARNING stay away from here if you are indecisive or you will never leave lolol When you are ready to head home just take your selections up to the register to pay. note: Everything is beautiful but can be a bit heavy or rich for my taste.

The bread is delicious and soft! There are treats for every occasion - Christmas, Valentine's Day, Birthdays. The owners are the bakers and they make everything fresh, same day! The bolillo with ham, cheese, and jalapeños is a delicious breakfast option along with their complimentary self-serve coffee!

We recently ordered my son's birthday cake here and would highly recommend it! We followed his very plain tastes and ordered "white cake and white filling." We picked a character based decoration out of their book, and it turned out exactly like the picture. Service was very friendly and convenient. The best part though was the taste. The cake was one of the best birthday cakes I've eaten - delicious, moist yet light, with wonderful flavor. The whip-cream/custard based frosting and filling were a big hit. (They also held up perfectly in the refrigerator overnight.) They use fresh, non-artificial ingredients and you can tell! Even adults at the party who asked for "just a tiny little slice" went back for seconds. Bottom line: great cake!

This is seriously one of the best places ever I love their ham cream cheese and jalapeno pastry things. Also their tamales are the best around hands down.

Phyllis, take your miserable self home and cook your own tamales. All you do is complain. The Panadera is easily the the best business in FG. The ladies that run the place are incredibly nice. Support them! And don't be a Phyllis!

Waited for the people ahead of me to finish and stepped up to the counter. The lady took a call for over 10 minutes never calling to the back for help. Finally get some attention to be told that No one speaks English. Did they recognize me from my last visit. Tamales $2.35 each, but it cost this white girl $35 for a dozen. Shady to say the least. And if you don't speak Spanish don't even bother pulling in. So I took my $$$$$ somewhere else. I will never bother you again.

Great, locally-owned, traditional Mexican bakery. Tastes as good as it smells! Owner is super friendly. I can already tell I'll be a regular customer.

They always have a good variety to choose from. I always go in for the cream cheese jalapeño bread and walk out with some sort of cake and sweets. It hits the spot every time.

This place is open. Idk why it says it's closed but went here today and really enjoyed the pastries I got.

I went in today for the first time with my boyfriend, while the bread was good I felt I was treated with racism. There were 3 workers in the front and 2 in back my bf and I were the only 2 people in the store. The staff had absolutely no problem helping my Mexican boyfriend. However, when I asked for assistance several times while shopping I was completely ignored by all the employees, and stared at like a sideshow freak from the second I walked in until the second I left. I even had the cashier tell me she didn't understand english, until the end of the transaction when she used complete perfect English to finish my transaction and then begin a conversation with a customer behind me. My boyfriend agreed the vibes were extremely racist. Will not be returning.
