I recently visited the Fayetteville location, and unfortunately, my experience did not compare to the exceptional service and quality I always receive at the Sandy Springs location.
I specifically requested the chicken and beef tacos that I previously enjoyed at Sandy Springs, but I was told that this location does not offer them—even after I provided photos showing exactly what I received at the other restaurant. I ended up ordering one chicken and one beef taco, but the presentation was disappointing and nowhere near as appetizing or appealing as the Sandy Springs experience.
I also ordered a Texas margarita with sugar on the rim due to my health restrictions—I do not consume salt because of high blood pressure. Although the rim had sugar, the drink itself tasted overwhelmingly salty, as if sugar and salt were mixed together. Because of this, I was unable to enjoy the drink and left most of it behind, as shown in the photos. I didn’t want to cause a scene by sending it back, so I tried to drink a few sips, but it was ultimately a waste of money.
On a positive note, my waitress, Shantel, was absolutely amazing. She did everything she could to accommodate me and was kind and attentive throughout my visit. She informed me that the manager wanted to see proof of the tacos I previously received, which I provided. Even after showing the photos, I was still told they “don’t do that,” which was disappointing.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning to the Fayetteville location. I will continue to visit Sandy Springs, where service, quality, and consistency are always top-tier. If you’d like a comparison, feel free to check out my five-star review of the Sandy Springs location.
