"The once mighty La Pasadita family of Mexican restaurants is down to a single location. The La Pasadita Express at 2925 W. Irving Park Road is closed. The phone is disconnected and various social media pages also report the restaurant, which opened in 2010, has shuttered." - Daniel Gerzina

The worst and I can not express this enough. It was my first visit today I picked up to go I went with the simple burrito, first let me tell you I have been to many Mexican restaurant and never heard of a burrito with only onions and cilantro or lettuce and tomatoes it's a burrito not a taco people. So the super burrito has all, but let me tell you if you like sour cream you will get plenty of it. Lettuce and tomatoes barely I did get the center chunk of the lettuce meat was very chewy little flavor I nevered like tossing away food but I couldn't eat it after the third bite. I gave it to my dog. There prices ridiculous never again.

I specifically ordered tacos with no sour cream and got tons of it in my tacos. The rice was also burnt and crispy. Come on guys... it's really not that hard. The Famous Taco Burrito is a block away with much better quality, unfortunately I won't be returning to this spot.

Let me point out that I LOVE la Pasadita as a franchise. Their tongue and barbacoa tacos have yet to have an equal to my taste buds. However, apparently not all locations are created equal. On the two separate occasions I came to this location only to find out that they didn't have any of my favorite meats available. The first time, it was only the tongue, but this second time it was both the tongue and barbacoa meats! I settled for the steak, but I was still incredibly disappointed. It didn't help that the very nice lady was completely clueless without an explanation, as to what was going on, or when they would have them again. I also think it would behoove the proprietors to throw out a discount or comps to compensate for the lack of variety to assuage any backlash. I know as an entrepreneur myself, that I go out of my way to make things right with my clients if I ever falter with my services. -Doubly Disappointed

I can't get over how bad those tacos were. I ordered the veggie tacos and was given cold tacos with old wrinkly lettuce, a ton of sour cream and stinky guacamole. Absolutely wretched. I'm not being dramatic everyone I swear. Had I not taken the tacos to go I would have asked for a refund but I only have so much time on my lunch break and the snow is making the roads a little tricky to navigate. Wow, garbage tacos. I can't recommend anyone go to this particular location.

I think is too expensive for the size of the food. At least the burritos: I ordered a steak burrito and it was so small and just a bit of meat. And the service is not really good. Very disappointed.

I love the pasadita on Ashland and was excited about this location. They must be using just the name because the food here is over priced and horrible. Everything made in the microwave, weird smelling guac,

My favorite spot for tacos and burritos. Fresh food with a great selection. Black salsa is the best ever. Barbocoa is the best I ever had. Chachos baby, try them.

Paid over $40 for a sandwich and 6 small tacos. The corn tortillas were disgusting. I should've read the reviews before going to this place.
