We chose La Passagère for a family dinner with many reasons to celebrate: our eldest daughter returning from a world tour, my wife’s birthday, and my own “retirement.” It turned out to be the perfect setting.
The location alone sets the tone, but the experience truly unfolds at the table. We selected the Invitation au Voyage seven-course menu, and it lived up to its name. A beautiful discovery of Mediterranean flavors, showcasing local products and very well-thought-out, sometimes unexpected pairings between fish, meat, vegetables, and textures. Everything felt precise, balanced, and inspired.
The dessert was the clear highlight of the evening — memorable and outstanding. We spent almost four hours at the table without noticing the time pass, completely absorbed by the food, the setting, and the rhythm of the meal.
The only minor note would be the wine: the Corsican recommendation from the sommelier was slightly disappointing. That said, it barely registers given how exceptional the rest of the experience was.
An elegant, generous, and deeply enjoyable evening. La Passagère is a place made for moments worth celebrating.
