Extremely disappointing experience. We came in around 7 PM hoping for a nice dinner date. No one greeted us — we stood around awkwardly until a server finally noticed us. She seemed totally lost and out of it, like she had no idea what she was doing.
I asked about carbonara — it wasn’t on the menu, but she said they could make it. Fine. I ordered it. Then my husband tried to order the $25 combo (includes salad, pasta, and dessert), and we were told both of us had to order the combo or neither of us could. Seriously? That rule was never written anywhere. We even asked if I could get the carbonara as the pasta in the combo — and she still refused. No flexibility, no logic.
As a result, my husband ended up ordering nothing at all. He just sat there hungry while I ate a “carbonara” that tasted like absolutely nothing — bland, watery, and badly made. It felt like a joke.
To make things worse, when we were ready to pay, the server came over with the card reader while my husband was on the phone, interrupting him and insisting we pay right away. Then she disappeared. We had to call over another server just to pay in cash. She took the cash, brought change, but never brought the check. We literally had to get up and go ask for the receipt ourselves — just to understand what we were charged for.
The whole experience was chaotic, frustrating, and awkward. This was supposed to be a relaxing dinner date, and it turned into a night full of confusion, hunger, and bad service. We’d really appreciate it if management could reach out and offer a way to resolve this — because this evening was completely ruined.
