La Pâtisserie Cyril Lignac Review - 11th Arr. - Paris - The Infatuation

"Even though the chef-turned-TV personality behind this shop is a household name in France, this boulangerie-patisserie feels like a neighborhood spot in spirit. Swing by for some country loaves and at least one Equinoxe: a signature circular pastry filled with bourbon vanilla cream, caramel, and speculoos praline. And when it’s in season, don’t skip the chausson aux pommes: the crispy, candied outer layer and fruity purée interior will set the standard for anything apple you eat moving forward." - Sara Lieberman

The presentation was gorgeous and overall a lovely dessert. Nice textures between the base and lemon filling. I loved that it was not very sweet. My only critique is that I felt the lemon flavor was a bit light for my preference. Still, I would definitely purchase again and also try other treats offered!

Excellent both on taste and visual. The baba au rhum might be the best one that I’ve ever tried and the tarte au citron is a bit too light but the white chocolat on the top give a crucial touch of entire combinations.

Got the signature Equinox, a Paris-Brest, and a vanilla flan. The Paris Brest was great but for the price the other two were just ok, I'd eat them again but wouldn't go out of my way for them since they're pretty expensive. The staff were friendly and helpful, though, and patient with my slow French.

It was a little bit expensive, but I liked their chocolate-coated bear shaped marshmallow very much.

Perfect for the want-to-be-fancy tourists. The pastries are actually just above alright for prices just above the sky. Close by, a really good pastry chef works and transforms real good products. Just have to find it, it's to be found in a radius of less than a 100m.

What a beautiful little shop, and service is always with a smile! I have ordered multiple things from here, including the Equinoxe, a signature Cyril Lagnac patisserie. It was not worth the 6 EUR I'm afraid, but the Kouign Aman was delicious! My new fave pastry! And only for 2 EUR!

Dry, pale leftover croissant, lidl can make better ones if you chance it at least they are consistent.

Chausson aux pommes is the best I've ever eaten, but be careful if it is fresh. Flan has a really burned film on the top (what looks fine, but doesn't taste good), definitely not a good deal for its price. Eclair au caramel beurre salé is weird one: filling is too salty and intense: its taste literally kills other ingredients, and it is too small and pricy (5€). Better buy a classic one in an ordinary boulangerie.
