La Petite Verrière

This venue was on our bucket list for a long time, and glad we finally managed to try it out during a short cycling tour around Aix en Provence celebrating my birtday. The restaurant is a bit hidden in the center of the village, just opposite the tourist office, quiet and with views over a kind of small parc. Quite a cozy interior with the right decoration, lighting and table settings. Welcome was friendly and relaxed....we actually met with the Executive Chef whilst parking our bicycles in front of the kitchen and had a little chat with him which was quite cool. We selected a three course menu of the day (set menu based on oeuf parfait, trilogy de la mer and profiteroles) and a three course "Rousseau" Menu (we selected the crevettes roses, chapon fermier and the fruits decoupes) and added to that some nice local house white wine. All food was delicious, well presented, served in a timely manner and at the right temperature.....unfortunately not always the case these days! A nice touch was a small lit candle with the dessert and the waitress singing the start of the birthday song at our table....was really cute ! Definitely a venue where we will return and one highly recommended to those after an exciting culinary experience at great value for money and at only 60 minutes cycling from the heart of Aix!

Amazing food! We failed to inform the restaurant in advance that my wife is vegetarian. The chef adjusted the food to accommodate us and delivered amazing food. Such a cute small town atmosphere. Must visit!

Amazing tasting menu for a reasonable price! Staff was friendly and accommodating with my being a vegetarian. Food came promptly and was delicious. If I have time, I want to go back before my trips ends. This is a must eat at restaurant.

The food was so good that oh my god i got the fish and it was a perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also tried the lamb and it literally melt in my mouth 🤩🤩🤩. Service was really good and I would definitely come back here

A beautiful experience and a highlight of our holiday! We arrived early and the staff were really friendly and accommodating, sat us down and immediately sorted us with drinks. The chef was the only English speaker and so kindly took us through the entire menu in person, she was really friendly and clearly passionate about her food. The meal was incredible, the wine perfectly matched-overall I’d highly recommend an evening in this great hidden gem!

Top food for a reasonable price, you needto go to experience it! After working for top star restaurants, Nadège finally decided to open hers, perfect for us the customers, we can taste subtile food at a very human price. Thank You
