At The Exchange, La Piadina specializes in Emilia‑Romagna’s piadina—house‑made flatbreads folded with stracchino, prosciutto, and seasonal fillings. Its story and hours confirm steady service; locals love it for a quick, genuinely Italian bite.

La Piadina is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. I savored a fantastic Capri Piadina, made with the most delicious tomatoes and mozzarella I've had in a long time. What truly set La Piadina apart is the owner's genuine warmth and hospitality. We had a lovely chat, and it's clear how passionate he is about serving authentic Italian food. I highly recommend this charming spot for a truly memorable meal.

I’ve tried this place with my husband on the weekend, we liked their piadina and the cozy/simple atmosphere. My family and relatives are romagnoli from Rimini and I haven’t had a real, tasty piadina in a very long time so I was happy to try a good place like “La Piadina” non to far from where we live. Plus (big PLUS!) they stuff it with delicious creamy stracchino cheese, not easy to find good like this one😉

Google
Delicious organic and curated food, and even better service. The owner Menyus, is the sweetest. You can tell he has a lot of love and devotion to his restaurant and ensuring that the food is the highest quality. The Chicken Pesto Piadina was delicious. Warm roasted chicken, handmade bread, homemade pesto, and crisp arugula. Will definitely be coming back!

Google
I have been in 25 states in the US, and it is not so easy to find the Piadina Romagnola, which is a regional dish from Northern Italy. However, I tried some places that make piadina, especially in California and other states, but this one was the most authentic I ever had. There is also some confusion regarding the piadina comparing to a taco or quesadilla, even if they have nothing in common since they are made with different ingredients and have different taste. Piadina is gourmet.

My husband and I had lunch here today for the first time and we absolutely loved it! The owner made our food and he was incredibly friendly. He uses high quality ingredients and everything was fresh and plentiful. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Excited that we finally tried it. We will return for sure!

I go to Italy (Emilia Romagna) for my holidays every year. This is the region where Piadina comes from. I have to say, I just had the best Piadina outside Italy at La Piadina in the Exchange in FoCo. 100% original taste

Google
Super meh.. If you’re going to charge premium prices, don’t make me a Cisco ingredient quesadilla. I understand it’s tough when you get busy, but if you skimp on quality and integrity of your product to serve more food, you probably shouldn’t be in this game

Google
Fantastic food after a long day of traveling and adventure. The kids devoured theirs and the adults were extremely satisfied with the Quattro, Burger, Capri, and special.

Yelp
Delish! I got the Daniele, with prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and it's all organic! It's so hard to find a restaurant that serves quality food with history and passion!!! A wide drink menu, and cute patio dining.

Yelp
It's a $15 barely filled quesadilla. Nothing says flatbread like a grocery store tortilla! Would not go back.

Yelp
Honestly the best Italian spot in Fort Collins. Amazing hospitality, great people running the joint. Super authentic flavors and home made bread fresh daily. I'll be back next week!! 10/10

Yelp
Overly priced overly salted - pretty simple flatbreads. Wasn't impressed w the one we got.

Yelp
Excellent flatbread! The guy making the flatbreads told me about the history of the flatbread, apparently much older than pizza! It tastes really close to something you might find in a pizzeria in Italy. We had a great time, we ordered the #11 (plain cheese) for our daughter, the originale which was excellent, and the special with radicchio. It's definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
It seems wrong to post this review in English as this place/truck screams all things Italy, but alas my Italian is not proficient enough to do this place Justice. I Found this Piadina purely by chance but it is one of those events that makes me believe in a higher power/divine plan. Met the owner himself and I have never met a man with more passion and heart. Before ordering I Received a fascinating brief lesson on Piadina (the flat bread used in their sandwiches) and learned not only does he make the bread himself every day but it's a recipe he brought over from Italy and dates back to the 1300s!!!! Which all makes sense because while I tried two different sandwiches the consistent star for both was the flat bread itself. A contradiction on the plate somehow both flat and fluffy, light but filling. I cannot stress enough how truly amazing this bread is. I ordered the Daniele which I forget the exact ingredients but I know had perfectly textured prosciutto in there, and also a caprese vegetarian option which just screamed fresh ingredients. I'm a pretty big eater so I was able to finish two by myself even thought I was going to save some for later but just walking around the cute old town Fort Collins eating antique recipe Italian flatbread was just too much fun. I know they have a truck that roams around Ft Collins doling delicious treats and will for sure now be one of my go to places!

Yelp
Excellent! Great service with real Italian food and people. Highly recommended dessert as well

Yelp
This is the best piadina I've had outside of Italy, and is probably even better than most of the Italian piadina I've had. So far, I've gotten the Daniele and the Pizza-Dina. The Daniele is very traditional, great prosciutto and tomato/arugula; overall just an amazing sandwich. The Pizza-Dina is absolutely incredible, tastes just like authentic margherita pizza; the sauce is flavorful as hell and they use great mozzarella. The Golosa was also delicious. I don't often use the word "authentic"; but I really want to stress that if you were to fly to Northern Italy and get piadina, this would taste almost identical to what you'd get over there. Owner grew up in Italy and it shows; he's also a great guy, and super proud of this amazing food. It's hard to put into words and numbers how truly great this place is, you should just go!

Yelp
Had the meatball sandwich, okay but $14+ for this was a bit more than it should be for something that really is not that memorable. Service was slow considering our order was the only one we saw while we were there, one of the 2 employees was sitting on the counter when we cam in and did not even get down. Outside table gives good opportunity to people watch. Probably my first and last visit as nothing exceptional to bring me back.

Yelp
I checked out La Piadina for the first time. I have never experienced the food truck so it was nice to check out this little storefront as part of the many different stores/restaurants within The Exchange. There are a wide variety of choices for piadinas and many for a vegetarian like myself. I tried out the Carciofa ($8), New Peperonata ($10), and Vegana ($10). The New Peperonata was my favorite -- the balance of the tricolor peppers with the spicy olive oil, cheese, mushroom, and tomatoes was just really delicious. The Carciofa and Vegana were very good, too. I suppose I'd be more inclined to get the Carciofa of the two just because it's a little cheaper but still tastes great -- has the feel of the usual artichoke and mushroom sandwiches you may get out in the world. I really enjoyed the uniqueness of the piadina, their online ordering was simple, and easy for pick-up in these COVID times. I'd definitely return and encourage anyone else to try it out for a filling, fresh experience that won't destroy your wallet. I'm still thinking about how good that New Peperonata was.

Yelp
Fiyah! Did a little staycation with the fam bam recently and came across The Exchange. Putz around for a quick sec when a gentlemen approached us while we were reading the sign for the special. Super friendly guy, told us a bit about Italian flatbread,, etc. Sold!! Snagged an Odells lager for $3 and a really good arugula salad for the misses. Next time we're in FOCO, we would hit it again for sure!

Yelp
Stopped in with my boyfriend last weekend for lunch. I noticed the good reviews and thought it could be a tasty place to stop. Boy was I right! We were served by the owner and also struck up some friendly conversation. The customer service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious! I got a vegetarian sandwich and my boyfriend got one with some meats and veggies. They were both incredibly delicious and authentic tasting. I'd love to see a La Piadina open a location in Denver where we live. Will be back when we're in Fort Collins!

Yelp
I got delivery for my kids and my son said, "this is the best dinner you have ever given me."

Yelp
If you are looking for authentic Italian street food, then you need to try La Piadina. They have a large menu of piadinas to pick from and they all look good. I tried the "original" because I love the 3 basic ingredients ( stracchino, prosciutto and rucola) and it was phenomenal l felt like backing in Italy for a second. If you are not familiar with Piadina just google it to get an idea, but please don't say "wow just a flower tortillas" because it is not. The restaurant has limited seating, more like a ramen restaurant, but again that's street food so you should grab and go. Also is located in a nice shopping area made of containers and a nice outdoor area surrounded by little shops. Definitely this is my spot when traveling to Ft. Collins. I wish we had something similar in Dallas

Yelp
So yumm! I can't believe I haven't tried this place before, because I must have passed it so many times. I actually found it online. Very good find. I love that they use such great ingredients because I'm sensitive to a lot of preservatives. I do recommend :)

Yelp
So glad you have a storefront and I can come to get a piadina anytime I want! I crave these! They are so delicious. I have a couple go-tos but I also like to try the new specials that you come up with - they are SO GOOD!

Stephen B.

Yelp
Very low quality ingredients are used to make these sandwiches. I ordered a "Danielle" with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella. The "prosciutto" was very cheap ham that did not taste at all like prosciutto. There were a few small slivers of fresh mozzarella. The sandwich was wrapped in what is described as "Italian flatbread" that resembled a grilled flour tortilla. Their website listed prices that were much lower than the actual prices charged. Not good at all.

Yelp
The food at La Piadina is incredible! I was born in Western NY and raised in an Italian family. Their flatbread sandwiches are authentic. The Mariana sauce, artichokes, etc....and the bread. I have lived in Fort Collins for 3 years and finally tried at a brewery recently. My 2 friends and I ate their sandwiches and have not stopped talking about the food since. See their food truck schedule or visit their container at The Exchange (downtown FOCO) at DELIZIOSO!
