11 Family-Friendly Restaurants in Miami and Fort Lauderdale | Eater

"This could be Miami’s best pizza, according to locals who show up in droves. La Pizza piles their pies high with meats and veggies. Their crispy crust holds up to whatever your desires heap on it. Snag a slice and a soda for a quick hot lunch, or plan ahead to feed your big family with one of La Pizza’s special combos, which includes a pie that will please even the most ravenous sweet teeth: their scrumptious hazelnut dessert pizza." - Vox Creative

My first time. Was in the area with my friend and decided to stop by. Great choice. The BBQ chicken pizza was delicious 😋

Google
We went there few months ago, and we been very disappointed the food and the service was terrible. Today we said OK let’s try again and we got a ghost place! It was very surprising for a Saturday at 7.15pm…

Google
Great pizzas and the vibe is amazing. Is hidden on plain sight but is very well situated. You need to try their Nutella Pizza, which is really really good especially with the strawberry and banana toppings. Didn't gave it 5 starts because I was disappointed about the service, not the best overall and the seats are like if you're sitting on a rock. Bring something soft to sit with if you have any back issues.

Google
I tried the lasagna at the restaurant, and it was enjoyable, although not the best I've ever had. The ambiance seemed a bit lacking due to the empty space, but I believe it could improve with more people… It would be nice to host an event at this venue in the future.

Google
I had the meat lover’s pizza and the prosciutto crudo pizza. Both were excellent. Would go back to this place 100%

Google
La Pizza 1789 is hands down one of my favorite spots in town. The vibe is laid-back but classy, and the food? Next level. The truffle mushroom pasta was creamy, rich, and full of that earthy truffle flavor—so comforting and delicious. And the meat lovers pizza? A total hit. Loaded with perfectly cooked meats, crispy crust, and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and seriously good eats. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
Loved the ambience and service of La Pizza just as much as their burrata pizza! The workers were very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The pizza itself tasted excellent and was well worth it. If you enjoy a great vibe and delicious pizza this is the place for you!

Google
We walked in right as it opened so we were hesitant as we were the only ones there. Lunch special caught our eye. Ordered a margarita pizza, a Mac n cheese and a chicken pesto sandwich. Wow, wow, wow. The food was so delicious! We thought it was an amazing pizza and put the Mac n cheese as our top 5. The chicken pesto was fresh and tasty. The service was superb. Very nice waitress. We truly want to go back again.

Yelp
We LOVE this pizza!!! Crispy, thin and super flavorful. The prosciutto and arugula is to die for. Highly recommend, pizzas are always consistently good!

Yelp
Order delivery through Uber eats Uber is listing it at miami pizza but the real name of this place is called La pizza Surprisingly the pizza was really good and crust was very soft. Ate wings as well Recommend it , worth a try

Yelp
Good tasting pizza. Service was good. Difficult to find parking. The restaurant was not warm although the doors were open. They have a place where you can sit and watch the pizzas being made.

Yelp
Food and service is A+. My best friend owns a salon right across the street, Aslanian styles, and we try to make this our weekend cheat meal.

Yelp
I had lunch here today because Kalimera was closed. I started off with the beet and feta salad, which was very heavy on arugula and also had chopped walnuts. It was underdressed, but overall it was a great salad. I also had the Bolognese ("Fresh" option). It was disappointing. The pasta was cooked al dente, but the bolognese sauce was bare seasoned and just tasted as if they mixed some beef with marinara from a jar. They also threw some low-grade parmesan cheese on top. It's also worth mentioning that the salad was a lot larger than I expected, but the pasta dish was smaller than expected.

Yelp
First let me say that Yelp needs to remove the coupon as they do not accept and their lunch special is $11.99. They also will not give you tap water a according to the waitress they don't have tap water. With that being said the sandwiches are good.

Yelp
In order to review this place, it would have to be broken into two parts: ambiance and food. Food: 4 stars The menu has a lot of options from mac n' cheese, pasta, and pizza. I ordered two pizzas: Margherita and Hawaiian. The pizza are done fresh when you order, and since they have an open kitchen you can watch your pizza being made. I found the pizza to be delicious, especially the margherita. I love that it's thin crust, not too chewy and not too crunchy. Ambiance: 2 stars Unfortunately, this restaurant needs some love. When you walk-in the restaurant is really dark, and some tables are set while others are not. It gives the feeling that they aren't open yet. The service was average. They are nice and attentive, but nothing out of this world. Overall, the ambiance messed it up for me. I also found it very weird that they have water cups on the table, but do not offer you water. When I asked for water, I was given to bottles of water and charged. If we are dining in, I would appreciate water.

Yelp
My wife ordered rigatoni bolognesi and garlic bread for to go.when we arrived home about half hour home when my wife and my daughter try the food they don't like how is tasty so we drive to return the food and we explain the owner about the food no tasty good,he got angry ,screaming to us.he don't want to return the money back and we bring the rigatoni back to the restaurant he said kick to the restaurant out.so very disappointed about the restaurant la pizza.never going back again.

Yelp
I came to La Pizza with my wife last week and we are planning to come back again. There is plenty of parking in front and around the back. We shared a pizza pie and a salad, both were delicious. The waiters were on point, shout out to Adrian! Hussein the manager was welcoming. I also had the chance to talk to Dominique who was preparing the pizzas himself. Great guy! Next time I'll come with family and friends. Cheers!

Yelp
Got the Chicken BBQ pizza and it was so good. Outside seating is pretty and food came quick. Decent prices

Yelp
I had been to la pizza when they first opened several years ago and had honestly forgotten about this hidden gem. For starters, their happy hour specials are amazing. My girlfriends and I decided to come and grab a few drinks prior to watching a movie. We ended up convincing ourselves to order to pizzas since they all sounded delicious. We had a classic pepperoni and the mushroom truffle pizza which stole the show. They were perfectly cooked!

Yelp
A hidden gem! We were craving a good pizza/pasta duo on a Saturday night that we could pick up on the way home and stumbled upon La Pizza... and I'm so glad we did! We ordered the Mac and Cheese Solferino, the Mac and Cheese spicy sausage(my fav!!), Pizza Margherita, and, of course, their Nutella pizza. Very reasonable price for the quality and serving size for each entree. I was a very big fan of the spicy sausage Mac and Cheese, and if you like a little bit of heat, this is definitely right up your alley. It came in an Alfredo/Parmesan sauce with rigatoni pasta. The dish description mentions mushrooms, but the mushrooms were not included in the pasta. Nonetheless, it was still incredible. The Mac and Cheese Solferino was served in a bolognese sauce and topped with Parmesan. I would give this dish a 7/10- compared to the spicy sausage which I have to give a 10/10! You have the option of ordering your pizza Neapolitan or Roman style- which is great depending on whether you're craving a thin and crispy pizza or a nice fluffy one instead! And now to the star of the show... the Nutella Pizza! The perfect dessert topped with bananas, strawberries, and powdered sugar.

Yelp
Decided to have a girls dinner and ran across La Pizza. This place felt so beautiful and intimate with the lights , bar and exposed ovens ! We came in earlier in the evening so there was not too many people , service was fast and attentive fun and light hearted! The pizza was filled with flavor but my favorite was the mushroom and truffle pizza ! It was Crispy and warm straight from the fire stone oven . They have happy hour specials on wine , beer and other drinks ! Definitely will be coming back to try more pies!

Yelp
I had a major Monday Night pizza craving and La Pizza did not disappoint! It rained earlier in the day so the outside seating was all wet but it was a super cute space! We sat inside which was equally cute and had four TVs, super cute bar space and a good mix of high top and low top table. We chose to sit right in front of where they make the pizzas so we could watch. The chicken wings were BOMB! So good. I usually have to order my wings well done because I like them crispy but these were SO GOOD. No sauces needed but they gave us some. For the pizza, there were SO many good options. But since it was my first time I wanted to try a classic cheese. But, the boo likes stuff on his pizza so we agreed on half cheese, half bbq chicken. I was glad we did the half and half because both flavors were great! However if I ordered just the bbq chicken I would've asked for the pizza well done to avoid the sogginess that came eventually from all the toppings. Overall, I LOVED it and would drive to Sunset for it again

Yelp
La Pizza is hands down the best NY-style pizza I've found in Miami. The crust has that perfect balance of crispy and chewy, the sauce is flavorful, and the cheese is always melted to perfection, 3 rd Friday night ordering it

Yelp
Came here on the 3rd of July. The place was empty. Service was great, the IPA craft beer was great and two pizzas were awesome: prosciutto and arugula and gorgonzola. I would definitely recommend.

Yelp
On Saturday April 11th, #YelpsBigNightIn took off, or should I say took home! We all chose local businesses to support and enjoy a good meal at home where my craving and timing for food took me to La Pizza! I fasted all day just for this :) Anyway, I have known about La Pizza awhile but just never had the opportunity to stop by. Now's the chance and the reviews steered me toward the Burrata Neapolitan Pizza! Photos looked tantalizing and the ingredients got me excited. Tomato Sauce, mozzarella cheese, arugula, cherry tomato, burrata, glaze balsamic vinegar. UGH! Never before used any app to order food so had to figure things out in a pinch (and not salt haha). Downloaded the Slice app and away we go! Some reviewers recommended adding the prosciutto! Yes please! Placed my order (hold the arugula please) drove over and had to figure out parking. They don't have a parking lot so will either have to find limited street parking nearby or the lot across from Sunset place. Don't worry about paying for parking during these pandemic times as curbside was quick. You walk up to the property, walk to the window where your pizza is handed to you, walked it back to the car with umbrella as it was raining (sorry no pictures of the outside establishment!) and proceeded to disinfect the box and toss the cleaning n gloves in a plastic bag (not the floor please!) Ok, back to the UGH as in ughhmazing experience! The oh my god juicy wet burrata oozing as you poke it and move it around. Each burrata bite lights up my eyes creamifying this messy delight (yes I used a fork and knife but that's more than ok!) As you make your way through this ridiculously awesome pizza you are hit with that wonderful balsamic glaze (however I did notice it was drizzled in a round pattern which took me off guard since previous photos showed a crisscross pattern). Now this glaze was tasty and melded well with the other ingredients but felt it was a little less drizzled than what photos showed? Luckily I had a bottle of glaze in the pantry to fill in the gaps and elongate this tasty experience. Oh and boy did it blend with the garden fresh flavors from them warmed cherry tomatoes cheese and prosciutto! (salivating all over again as of this writing!) Pick your favorite red and prepare to add a velvety slickness to your wine as it swishes around your mouth picking up remnants of the pizza. A definite party going on in there!

Yelp
As pizza places go. This one definitely became a staple in my go-to list. Pizza was hot fresh. Dough wasn't grainy I'd definitely order again. This place was solid as fuck .

Regina C.

Yelp
The pizza is amazing! they are gourmet pizzas The service is above and beyond the call of duty . I had placed my order not realizing it was the elf parade in south miami and there was no way of them delivering or me getting to them. Traffic was shut down The manager Jose offered to cancel the order for me or meet me in the middle of the parade to make sure that I got my order. Jose Didn't mind that I had not paid - He wanted to give to me complimentary for all the trouble I had gone thru - which I found to be an amazing gesture. This says a lot about the person running the business. I did phone in and paid for my order, I definitely recommend this place.

Madeline P.

Yelp
So I've ordered from here many times since I posted my initial review and I will say, they're consistent. Their ingredients are always fresh and they make one of the best caesar salads of any local place and definitely the best garlic bread. They also offer a good selection of non-tomato based pizzas, which I enjoy. Overall, still a great local place for pizza. My only complaint, since I use them pretty much for delivery only, is their pizza always arrives cold. I don't live far from them and delivery is always within 30 minutes of placing my order, but still it arrives cold. So I've taken to preheating my oven and sliding it in for 5 minutes when it arrives. Not sure how much control they have over the delivery process (they use GrubHub), but clearly they need a better system for keeping food warm while it's in transit.

Yelp
This is the kind of edit I like to do on my reviews.... After not coming back here for a long time, we decided to give it another try and I'm glad to report the good updates. Well, we now have table service, which to me was the big deal breaker. Having to stand in line every time you want to order something is not my idea of dinning out. In addition to this they have added some handcrafted beers and wines to the wine list. Pizza here is still very good and offers Brooklyn style crust or Italian. (Different sizes). Please note and take advantage of late dinning deals... after 9 PM almost everything was 50% off. Pizzas and salads at least. Drinks are also discounted after 9pm which I found, pleasantly surprised. The outdoor sitting area is quite nice and kids find it appealing since they don't feel so restricted as they do inside. The one thing that still needs improving is that they give you this nice plates and glasses... but they give you plastic forks and knives. I mean... they need to already have a dishwasher.... why not some silverware to match the rest. #maybeoneday. Service was excellent, very pleasant and helpful. Food came out perfect and in a timely manner.

Yelp
Amazing! Very kid-friendly place with a big outdoor area. Staff is very friendly. You can order their pizzas I'm 13" or 17". We ordered a Margarita pizza, the Napoli pizza and the Meatlovers pizza. I liked the Margarita the most. Napoli had arugula, tomato, Parmesan and lemon on top. I didn't try the meat lovers one. To drink, I had an orange flavored Pellegrino which tasted really good and my son had a pineapple-orange juice. We finished our meal with the brownie. It was a big piece with almonds and vanilla ice-cream on top! Will be back for sure!
google avatar

Orlando R.

Yelp
Super friendly people and the pizzas are one of the best deals in town. $12 for an individual 8 slice pizza of such high quality ingredients and taste is about as good as you'll find in Miami. You add in the fact the restaurant is somewhat hidden in the South Miami area, gives it that diamond in the rough feeling.
google avatar

Courtney M.

Yelp
Supppppper cool vibez! Definitely did not realize how good the beer and wine selection was for a pizza place! Great happy hour!!! Great outdoor space! Amazing food! Will come back!!
google avatar

Mag T.

Yelp
As other reviewers have mentioned the photos look better online then in person. Lack of toppings and the crust was so thin. For 17$ i was not impressed, by the time i got home from picking up the pizza(10 min) it was stone cold.
google avatar

Yelp
During the quarantine I have started to experiment with different dining options near me and stumbled across La Pizza. I'm a HUGE pizza lover and always in the mood to have some! I found La Pizza on Uber Eats and have ordered from there twice. I've ordered their Prosciutto Crudo pizza, the Meat Lovers pizza, the pasta carbonera and wings. Though quite small, the pizzas were tasty and very generous with their toppings. They let you choose your style crust: Roman or Neapolitan, which I thought was pretty cool! My suggestion is to not stray away from their Italian dishes; the wings were sub par but I expected that and didn't let it cloud my judgment. Overall the pizzas are good but not something I am willing to pay the price for often.

Yelp
In 2019 I began going to this sweet little handmade pizza shop. In the three years since then it has become a staple in my home. Today I had a minor issue with a missing ingredient on a delivery order I placed. Dominic had the pizza remade in about 5 minutes. Making it right makes all the difference! I hope this place is here for many more years.
google avatar

Yelp
Best pizza in south miami and gables. Simple menu but all is fresh and delicious . Just watch where you park! They do tow away

Yelp
DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TERRIBLE BUSINESS! Absolutely awful experience and very rude manager. I called to place an order and after being on "hold" (they just set the phone down and I could still hear everything going on in there) they hung up on me. Once I called back and nicely said, someone just hung up after waiting for 5 minutes, the girl didn't even apologize and just asked what I wanted. I gave her my order and she said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived to pickup my food 35 minutes later and it was not ready. I sat there for 45 MORE MINUTES and when my order was finally ready, my boyfriend asked to speak to the manager. And this is where it gets really bad.... The rude manager literally told us that he didn't care that we had to wait an hour and 15 minutes for our order and if we didn't want the food, we could just leave it and go. He was yelling at my boyfriend and waving his hands all around in his face, I was shocked. Instead of apologizing, offering a discount, coupons for the next visit, a free glass of wine while we waited, etc, he didn't even apologize! To make matters worse, one of our pizzas was ready much before the rest of the order and it was totally soggy, cold, and rubbery cheese by the time we received everything else. I completely understand many places are short staffed right now and it can be difficult during busy times, but the way this was handled was unacceptable. I saw many employees there, walking around slowly, clearing tables one plate at a time. Clearly some training needs to be done here. I will NEVER return after spending $70 for the mediocre food.

Yelp
This is a great place to be able to talk and have a relaxing Lunch/Dinner. With a quiet and relaxing atmosphere it is very calm and easy to talk. They have my favorite macaroni and cheese baked to perfection and super cheesy, I highly suggest trying it. Their pizza is also very good, the wood fire over makes it.
google avatar

Teresa M.

Yelp
Ordered delivery pizzas, three. They arrived cold. Delivery took forever. The pizzas might have been better when they were hot but the cold pizzas were completely underwhelming. Sad.
google avatar

Alexa C.

Yelp
I like their specials, check-in deals, toppings, and service. For a sizzling cheesy pizza with fresh veggie toppings cooked just right, these folks can be a reliable option in the SoMi area. The margarita pizza is a simple option that needs no frills to make your pizza experience just right though. The best things in life are simple sometimes and this is a perfect example of such. Of course, I'm the pepperoni princess so I had to order it like that with onions. Every bite was crispy yet sizzling hot with melting cheese in every bite. They also have a dessert option for the sweet tooth fanatics of Nutella pizza that's shareable and decadent in each morsel. You guys got it going on... I recommend dining at the restaurant instead of ordering it to go for the freshest experience. Take a look at their toppings as they have plenty of options to customize on your pie.

Yelp
My go to for all things pizzaaaaa!!!! I can't seem to find any better pizza in my área! The Roman crust is both crunchy and gooey which makes for the perfect thin crust. Every bite is as fresh as it looks. I tend to feel heavy and sleepy (gluten sensitive) after eating pizza but I couldn't believe how good I felt after eating 2 slices. And this was a "13 inch pie. You can literally eat the whole pizza yourself but I'm watching my weight these days ;) The staff is friendly at the window (inside dining wasn't open). The price is reasonable and the quality of the ingredients, especially the burrata is superb! I prefer to pick up rather than order delivery. I love getting the hot pizza box smell in the car while you drive home. Plus you are the favorite person in the house as you come through the door with a pizza box. :)

Yelp
The food is delicious. I write this review in order to offer some constructive criticism in order for the venue to get even better. The food is phenomenal. The service, not so much. Our server was very nice, but the lack of attention to detail made for a frustrating dining experience: bottled water was requested - no glasses served when bottles arrived; salad arrived - no plates to eat it when that had arrived; requested red pepper flakes - server told us they didn't have that in this restaurant; long wait times between meals - we each had to get up to wave at the staff to request refills and additional plates. The mushroom & truffle pizza and the artichoke & pesto pizza were both exceptional. The organic wine that was on special was also pretty great. We just wish that the attention to detail with regards to the service was on par with the attention to detail that the kitchen provides with each dish. If it did, this place would be a 5-star restaurant. We'll definitely come back and give it a try because we honestly believe that every business grows with every piece of feedback that it receives.

Yelp
One of those neighborhood jams where you can't help but say "daaaang" with every dish you get (I made that G rated for Yelp - You're welcome community). I have been here with friends when we randomly end up in the area at the movies or wherever in that neighborhood. It literally never disappoints. My favorite pizza is the burrata pizza with added prosciutto. Don't say I didn't put you on to that good good... Enjoy friends!
google avatar

Meli R.

Yelp
This place is a little weird..... still don't know how I feel about it. The lunch specials are amazing!!! The pizza was great. The service ... that's where things go south. The service will always make ALL of the difference in the world. It was weird.... I felt like they were brushing me off. My server served me with the worst attitude. But then I told him I needed the pizza to go and he was very accommodating. He came out side with the box, the check and two coupons. Very friendly at the end. The whole time I felt like I was a bother. I wanted to leave quickly. Will probably go back for the deals but just order take out.

Belkys G.

Yelp
Love this place. We come here quite often. Not only because the food is AMaZiNG but the service and attention particularly from the owner is incredible. The old school remember you face and treat you like you've been friends for ever. Very kind and always makes it a point to say Hi. My kids love this place more!! Very kid friendly and lots of options!

Alexa C.

Yelp
Carbonara was dry and gross, Nutella pizza undercooked. Really disappointing because it looks good, maybe another story if you dine in.
google avatar

Luis R.

Yelp
Been there a couple of times. Nice place for good pizza. Always good service. Very affordable.

Yelp
Really wanted to give this spot a try. Unfortunately after arriving tonight on a Friday with a party of 3 it didn't go so well. We were seated quickly but that's as far as it goes. The staff never came to attend to us or bring us water. So after waiting 15 mins we left. I made sure to let the server who sat us know we haven't been seen and she didn't seem to really care and told me in a second and walked away. Not sure if they were short staffed but either way someone should have let us know. Hopefully their service gets better.

Yelp
I have been hearing rumors about this place for a few months now. Located at the new Sunset Yard. They did a great job with the location. If you are lucky, you might experience live music outside. People sitting eating and drinking enjoying and dancing to the music. Was very impressed! But even more impressed after dining at at La Pizza. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in. We asked to be seated by the back where you can see the pizza making process. They use fresh ingredientes imported from Italy and you can tell the difference from the first bite! We had the pleasure of having several dishes (we were starving!) Started with cheese bread. Made with the same pizza dough. Nice and toasty! Then moved onto a couple of pastas al forno, Carbonara and Truffle Mushroom. Both extremely delicious, very flavorful! The truffle mushroom is a must if you are in the mood of pasta. Of course, we had to do pizza! (Don't worry, we had leftovers LOL). Had the Prosciutto Pizza with burrata that explodes when you bite into it. Can you believe we had space for desserts? Oh yes we did! Nutella Pizza and homemade Brownies with ice cream on top! To die for!!! Can't wait to go back to try more dishes!

Yelp
This has to be the worst place I've eaten at so far, TERRIBLE!!! To start the table was sticky and clearly not cleaned as they seated us, we were NEVER and I mean NEVER served water, instead we saw some guy walk through the restaurant carrying a case of zephyr hills, and when my friend asked for water they gave him one of those. The seats were uneven, and there were wardrobes in the kitchen and bathroom for wtv reason. Garlic Bread (6 pc) This was just as bland and awful as you can imagine, it was $8 for a half loaf of Walmart brand frozen garlic bread cut in half. It was so clear that it was frozen grocery store brand trash, lazily prepared and priced at quadruple the retail Walmart price. Pathetic. Mozzarella Sticks (6 pc) $7 for 6 frozen mozzarella sticks from 7-11. These have to be the worst and most obviously frozen, microwaved mozzarella sticks I have ever had. They were under cooked, rock hard, like my friend tried to put a fork in the stick and it bounced off the plate, and they had absolutely ZERO FLAVOR. Undercooked, overpriced, lazy, FROZEN, GARBAGE!!! This is a RESTAURANT, an ITALIAN RESTAURANT, what are they doing!? Barbecue Chicken Pizza This was one of the worst pizzas I have ever had, even worse than Local Pie. We were watching the lady cook the pizza, and she was leaning the crust and the bottom into the fire, literally IN THE FIRE, at that point we knew, this was also going to suck like everything else we had tried to stomach. All the little dog food bacon bits where out on one slice out of the entire pizza, the cheese and chicken were flavorless, the dough was undercooked (because the lady thought she could lean it into the fire for 10 seconds and cook it) and the pizza was 60% onions. It was greasy, tasteless, and probably frozen dough just like all the other frozen Walmart products they use, AWFUL, DISGUSTING, TRASH! In the end, this is arguably the worst restaurant I've ever been to, definitely worst pizza place I've ever been to. And I don't usually like to say, "I have an Italian friend and...", because it's a bit obnoxious and an eye roller; but, I have an Italian friend that went with me, and he was nearly inconsolable after that experience. He ate 2 slices of his pizza and just couldn't bear to continue, mind you he hadn't eaten all day and still couldn't stomach that filth. P.S. The service is garbage as well and the discounts are a lie, me and one of my friends both had our student IDs and they only discounted one item. Terrible food, terrible service, terrible place, please, PLEASE, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND HEALTH HERE.

Yelp
If you haven't stopped by here, you are missing out! This is a cute little place just off W Dixie Hwy that I found out about because a friend recommended it. And I can say that I was not dissapointed at all! I went mostly because on Mondays they have 50% off their food menu, and being tight on cash and money, this was appealing, lol. The place itself is small and tucked into a corner on the street that unless you were looking for it, you probably wouldn't find it. They have decent parking, with a lot on the side of the restaurant and the Sunset Shops parking garage in the back as well. They have an outside area with a good amount of tables that fit all group sizes. It has a very rustic feel, with twinkly lights on top and some greenery. They also show what cocktails they have for that day on a chalkboard sign outside in case you're in the mood for a drink. Inside, the place is well lit. You can sit yourself as well, and they have small tables inside which is great when you're a party of 1 like me, and don't want to take up a 4 seater. The menu is very Italian oriented, since it is a pizza place and they have a good variety of pizza. Like I mentioned, I went because on Monday's its 50% their food menu. I chose the Burrata pizza, which had, arugula, cherry tomatoes, mozarella, and a balsamic vinegar glaze. And it was DELICIOUS! I ate it all, cause I was starving and it was that good. I would definitely come back because they have specials for every day and I would liked to try some of their other food as well.

Yelp
Pizza tuesdays are now a thing courtesy of La Pizza!! 5$ pizzas from their signature menu, when I come with friends, we all order a whole pizza to ourselves and eat the leftovers for the next meal :)) (or late night 2nd dinner) I had the Cotto pizza and it was DELISH. Subbed in white sauce instead of tomato sauce for no extra cost, and the staff was extremely friendly. PS- They also have an ice cream counter and beers and wines to choose from! Will def be back!!

Yelp
If you're walking to La Pizza you should be fine, but note that parking is limited. You may have to park a block or two away. The inside was nice, they have some good specials, and service was fine. The pizza is really the draw here, and it was quite good. However, the menu doesn't have too many vegetarian pizza options, other than just cheese. One person in my group had a salad, which I would not recommend getting. Some of the ingredients seemed canned, and it was supposed to come with avocado, but we didn't find out until after we paid and sat down that the avocado wasn't ripe yet. I'd return for pizza, especially on a Tuesday for the special.

Yelp
Nice concept, great location and specials but I'm a pizza lover and this was not as good as all the reviews I read. The crust we had was thin and droopy, kinda soupy in the middle. Not very appealing but flavorful. Chicken wings were ok nothing special. Don't bother with the garlic definitely not worth it. Hate to leave a bad review but I was disappointed with the food. Service was great though no complaints! Cool thing is that u can also order from the place next door their sister restaurant.

Yelp
Really bad experience, no respect for customers. Really rude customer service, be prepared for them to bring the check without asking before closing tab. Was celebrating someone's birthday, they denied us desert. I won't be back and I won't recommend this place. Also they included 18% tip when they didn't deserve it.

Yelp
Came in for a quick pizza and found a great please for appetizer pasta and pizza they have a amazing 13 Romano or Napoleon style crust pizza and 17 books and stuff crust pizza. They have a beer and wine bar which has both local and international beer and wines! I ordered at the bar a fantastic pizza. It was out within 15 minutes . The bar service was engaged in conversation and wasn't very helpful but I just helped myself to utensils and napkins! The happy hour pizza were delicious and the prices were unbelievable!! Go by and give them a try!

Yelp
We went here to try the Lebanese place out for dinner and see how it was, but it was not open, so we tried this. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, indoor is all brick which is nice and with the brick oven stoves nearby , makes the place relaxing and cozy. We ordered a Bread, with Olive Oil, Sea Salt, Pepper and Balsamic Vinegar, Pizza, Fettuccine with Pesto and Caesar Salads. The food was good, but little pricey and the service was slow. Water is not free and they do not have fresh brewed Iced Tea. If one is near this area and wants Pizza, this would be a place to get it, but for anything else, there are other places to go.
