Loved the pistachio dessert, the prosciutto app, bred made in-house and the pasta with Bolognese. Also enjoyed the champagne, seasonal cocktail and walnut liqueur. Our server was outstanding as she explained the menu and provided full responses. Will return. It was a good choice bto celebrate a birthday!

Sean was delightful. He was a wealth of knowledge. Went there on date night and sat at the bar. My only feedback would be the lights could be slightly dimmer as it was rather bright in the middle of the restaurant. The food was impeccable. We had pizza and pasta and I don’t feel terrible today which is a plus lol. He mentioned given the quality of the dough it’s not like American dough so it’s easier on the gut. This was also a plus! We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Sean for all your guidance!

Ordered: bruschetta, tagliolini al limone, lappardelle al ragu di funghi and the tre gusti which consisted of 3 pizzas - salsicciotta, miele, and masses, also got dessert and ordered the budino al cioccolato. The pizza was definitely the best highlight of all the dishes. We got confused and thought the pappardelle would have meat which it didn't. None of the pasta dishes had meat which was a disappointment. The dessert was good!! I really wanted tiramisu but turns out they soak the ladyfingers in rum and I don't drink alcohol, I wish they had a nonalcoholic version. Overall, this place is a little over-hyped but the pizzas were great. I did walk around eatly later and it was super fun! Lots more to see around the store and a great place to try new Italian products and maybe even for future holiday shopping.

Google
Loved that I could try 3 different flavors of pizza in one! Try the Tre gusti to maximize your flavor experience. I personally always try cappriciosa if it’s available. They did great. Bread is tasty. Pasta is good. Pizza is bomb!

Easily one of my new fav places the food was incredible the staff was amazing The manager Megan and our waitress Tonya were so helpful with the menu and recommended things to us. We got the calzone which was so good and so cheesy the ricotta in it was amazing, we also got the cheese wheel fettuccini which was the best thing I had in awhile and i love that they mix it in the cheese table side, for dessert we got the Italian banana donuts 10/10 The cocktails were perfect they weren’t too strong or too weak lol we got the passion spritz and bubbling hibiscus Will be coming back asap

Eataly is one of my most favorite places for all things italian. We also have been to different eateries within the places. We decided to try La Pizza & La Pasta today... boy o boy... should have stayed with what we know. Our waiter seemed to have a lot in his mind... the service was subpar at best. We had never been disappointed with Eataly foods, but today was the first time. Pizza was a bit cool, and other things were just ok... the sparkling water was FLAT too.

Google
Let me start off by saying our server was wonderful, but on our last recent visit our food was awful. There was a really nice couple sit next to us who never got their food and left. I ordered the pizza and only 2 slices had cheese, sent it back. The hubs ordered pasta and got a small bowl with barely any sauce or any other ingredients, sent that back too. We were really disappointed as it wasn’t even busy. The only good thing was the budino!!! For what is charged for the food we expected better. Get it together guys!!! I hope our next visit is better.

Amazing food and service!! Leo was exceptional. Made great menu suggestions & very knowledgeable about the dishes. Gluten free pizza was so delicious, salad very fresh and the tomatoes were just as yummy as Leo said. Very pretty restaurant. Eataly never disappoints no matter what city I am in :-)

Yelp
La Pizza & La Pasta has been one of our favorite restaurants at Eataly Dallas, and we have been visiting this place for quite some time. The restaurant has undergone many changes, but the one we miss the most is the wonderful, heartfelt service provided at the bar by Xhemile. Xhemile has been relocated from the bar to assist in other areas of the restaurant. We have encountered many other bartenders who lack her skills and delightful personality. Since our first visit to the bar, Xhemile has listened attentively, introduced us to the menu, explained the differences between various types of pasta, and recommended drinks and dishes while considering our preferences. We urge the managers to bring back this talented young lady to the bar, as she excels with pride, passion, preparation, professionalism, and presentation.

Yelp
We were looking for a nice spot for a pre-Holiday meal, and found Eatily. After reviewing the menus for the three restaurants we selected this one due to the variety on the menu. We did not have a reservation and were seated right away-table for 3. The ambiance was nice, definitely a good mix of large groups and twosomes. While we were seated right away, it did take awhile for a server to engage us. (About 7-10 min) I think we were on the backend of a rush period so this wasn't an issue to start. However throughout the meal, getting to order, refill drinks and food there was a definite extended absence. As an example two of our meals arrived together and the third came separately. So much so that the two dishes were cooled when the third arrived. And after the food arrived at here was a note a notable absence when we were looking to get refills. The food was incredible everything we had had a wonderful flavor and the quality of the food was incredible. We had two appetizers, drinks (cocktails and wine), three main courses, and additional cola and the price was wonderful. Great food, good value. The pizza-Mielo was great, the spicy hit hard. It's not a light or mild spice. The lobster linguine was good, lobster superb. The pasta did have a slight tint of fishy, two people tasted one loved it and one thought it was a tad much. The fettuccine was a crowd favorite, the whole table eat! The table side toss in the cheese was a hit! The bream, prosciutto and calamari appetizers set the tone for a great meal. Wonderful presentation, great temp and flavorful. The drinks were a bit strong, the mezcal over powering in the seasonal cocktail. Trenchtown Grove. Overall we had a wonderful dinner, we will return and hope for better service.

Yelp
a fancy mid italian restaurant. had high expectations due to the up scale atmosphere and high prices but nothing we had you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. the three different types of bread was a good appetizer, they were nice and fluffy. i had the tagliatelle with the bolognese and it was a sadly mid and nothing special. it was good, but you could find better for cheaper else where. staff was extremely friendly but prices were extremely high.

Anthony C.

Yelp
Came here for the first time. It looks very fancy and the prices do reflect that as well. I would say it's a good spot for date night. However, it can be very noisy on a busy day. Service was good and seating seemed plentiful even on a busy day. I think it's cool how this restaurant is inside of the Eataly store tucked away from the grocery store. The food was good too. Nothing super special but better than average. Again, great place to come on a date but just keep in mind about the noise levels and such.

Ashly A.

Yelp
Food is amazing! Service is excellent! Our waitress was attentive! It's kind of loud in there but the ambiance is nice. Love it

Stephanie K.

Yelp
The ambiance is really lovely featuring housemade pastas and other italian cuisine. The downside to it is that the food was bland and service was lacking. We didn't have silverware to start off even after getting our appetiser. The focaccia bread was just ok and we were recommended to pair it with the burrata. The burrata tasted really good and already had a small slice of bread with it but that bread tasted stale. For our entries we got fettuccine and gnocchi and added chicken on both. Pretty sure they forgot to cook the chicken cause by time we finally got it, our pastas got cold. The fun part was watching the fettuccine come in a wheel of parm cheese, other than that, this place is meh. Our server was nice but with the forgotten silverware, food, and wait time on the protein... I feel it's a 3/5 in my book.

Yelp
This was one of my many times at La Pizza & La Pasta at Eataly and was not disappointed. Our experience was so nice & we enjoyed every second! We found out later that it was our servers first day on her own & we would've never guessed.. she was so good! We needed something quick so we ordered the Burrata E Pesto pizza (my favorite) with some calamari & focaccia blanka! It was packed on a Friday night but died down a little before 9! The restaurant is clean & feels lively! We enjoy coming here often :)

Yelp
Dinner last night was pretty good. It was empty when we got there around 6:00 but was packed when we left at 7:30. The place is clean and modern with low lighting. Our server was friendly and tried very hard but admitted her English wasn't great so we had just a little confusion. Nothing bad, good for a laugh. I ordered an Aperol Spritz and it was delicious! Better than some I've had in Italy. Nicely balanced and not bitter. I'd pass on the arancini next time. There are 4 and they're roughly the size of a golf ball. Not like true Sicilian arancini. I had the bucatini cacio e Pepe and it was good. My daughter in law said the linguine was good (prepared table side in a Parmesan wheel). My husband had the lasagna and said the top was far too crusty and dry from being reheated. It was just okay. We will likely go again and try the pizza.

Caroline Z.

Yelp
Burrata, Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese, and Focaccia Super cute place in Eataly! Nice interior, we had to make reservations for our group of 10. They have pretty good deals for appetizer+entree combos. Wines were good. Burrata was pretty great, I liked it a lot. The tagliatelle was somewhat disappointing--weak noodle, sauce not that impressive. Decent portions though. Focaccia was solid. Servers were great!

Yelp
La Pizza & La Pasta at Eataly Dallas is a genuine Italian restaurant located inside Eataly at NorthPark Center. The menu is full of Italy's most popular dishes and are all delicious. The one flaw is that it's expensive. I mean really expensive. If you want a legitimate Italian meal in a mall, this is your place. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - La Pizza & La Pasta at Eataly Dallas is located in the heart of Eataly Dallas. Surrounded by a well-stocked Italian market, it's has a unique mix of curious shoppers and patrons who want to experience fine Italian cuisine. If on a weekend, it's very busy. Buzzing with people and great energy, you know this is as very popular spot. Be sure you make reservations! 1 Star. Service - The service didn't quite match the quality of the cuisine. Our server really didn't seem to be into serving us. She wasn't bad, she just didn't seem interested. The restaurant was very busy on my Saturday night visit so this may have contributed to the indifference. 1/2 Star. Food - I'm a fan of Neapolitan pizza, and so I ordered the Margherita "A RUOTA DI CARRO". The hearty dough was thin in the middle, allowing the San Marzano sauce and mozzarella and their flavors to shine. You'll want to use a fold method as the middle is thin. I paired this with the Fettucine al Burro. Wow. They will prepare this dish at your table. The fettuccine is mixed and stirred directly in a parmesan wheel. It's super rich and a perfect compliment to my pizza. I ended my meal with the Tiramisu. Nothing to add except that it was delicious. The only flaw in my meal was the bill. Expect to pay $50 per person for your meal. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. While La Pizza & La Pasta at Eataly Dallas is really good, it's also really expensive. Even so, I like how I can eat a delicious Italian meal inside of a mall. Yes, I'll be back. 1 Star.

Yelp
Paola made my experience great. She really made the time here amazing and helped us choose what to get. The margarita pizza was really tasty and we decided on the table side pasta where they toss the pasta in the aged cheese. I give it a 3/5 is because the price point for the taste and portions just don't match for me. I would love to taste and try other restaurants in Eatly. The vibes are great, perfect for date night .

Kerry N.

Yelp
They have the very best pizza I've ever eaten! That includes regular crust and gluten free. #yum. I shan't eat anywhere else when in the area. We've been here three times for pizza. The service is excellent! The atmosphere is medium loud. Enjoy!

Nikita P.

Yelp
The food was excellent! Pizza and pasta dishes were great. I recommend sharing different dishes. Service was ok when I went, but I heard it was great from a friend so I think we went on an off day. This had more of a restaurant feel and is to the right when you enter Eataly from the main entrance.

Mindi A.

Yelp
Horrible meal from start to finish. First, arrived early and they wouldn't seat us even though half the tables were empty. Ordered Arancini. It was delivered still frozen in the middle. Sent back. Came back mid-meal hot, but still not good. Meanwhile, the $65 truffle pasta came out cold and weird. Do not recommend! Then finished with a pizza that had no cheese on it. Not good either. Total bust, came once before for the all you can eat pizza menu, and that was fun, but I doubt I'll ever return.

Ruth Joy V.

Yelp
We have a gluten allergy in the family so we're always on the hunt for good pizza. La Pizza and La Pasta has DELICIOUS gluten free pizza! Overall, it's a pretty expensive night out, and portions are small compared to the costs. However, the mixed drinks are fantastic, and that GF pizza dipped in olive oil (ask for it and thank me) is worth the trip. Don't waste time on pasta. Have tried several and though I like a good al dente pasta, I always feel that they need to let it sit just 90 seconds more. Gnocchi was great though if you want something besides the epic GF pizza. You almost always need rezzies for La Pizza & La Pasta, so jump on Open table now. I am 99% sure that you cannot get the same GF pizza at the market counter.

Yelp
I love visiting Eataly when in town. Having been to the NYC location as well as the Chicago location, I was excited when one finally opened in Texas! It's just a fun spot with all of my favorite things: pasta, pizza, cheese, Italian groceries, chocolate, wine. A bit pricy, but worth a drop-in just to explore. Lots of fresh food items and 3 different restaurants inside to accommodate your taste. A made-to-order cannoli bar and mini desserts readily available, fresh seafood and meats, breads, and a gelato spot as well. There's a little something for everyone here! We've dined at La Pizza & La Pasta 2-3 times now. It's an enjoyable, slightly more casual spot than their rooftop terrace restaurant. Without a reservation we were seated promptly around noon on a Sunday for a group of 4. Our server was easygoing and the menu is diverse enough to satisfy anyone. Appetizers, salads, pizzas, specialty dishes, and delicious pizzas - you can't go wrong with anything. I love their pizzas because the bread is soft and thin and fluffy. The pastas are hit or miss depending on what you get, but we've enjoyed the fettuccini funghi, their house speciality bolognese, spinach and cheese raviolis, and seafood pasta. It's a bit pricy for what it is, but I appreciate the quality of ingredients used in all of their dishes. Everything tastes fresh and is flavorful.

Yelp
This was such a beautiful place, and the ambiance was lovely. It was a bit louder than we expected which took away from the mood- definitely a reason I only gave two stars. I guess we were hoping for a little less noise As far as service goes it took a minute to get some waters. Once that happened, we had pretty great service. He was very communicative about how long our food would take. As far as food goes, I wasn't too impressed. The portions for the price is very disappointing. We ordered the calamari for $22.00 and the number of calamari was very small compared to the zucchini. And zucchini isn't that expensive so it felt like we got the short end of the stick there. His pizza was absolutely delicious! Definitely get the 4 cheese pizza if you go. I got the linguine alla scoglio which was $33.00 and received very little seafood in my dish. 3 mussels, 3 clams, and two shrimp. Again, very expensive for the portions. I can get 5 pounds of Manila Clams for $60.00. Also it wouldn't hurt to have complimentary bread. They don't do that. All that to say, we will not be back but it was a great experience to try! They are very kind there and I love the store.

Lauren C.

Yelp
We always love eating at la pizza and la pasta. We've probably eaten there 15 times in different cities, and 3 times at this location. They don't always have our favorite dish (the bucatini with guanciale) but no matter what we order, we always have a solid meal. I am sad that the bread isn't free anymore, and they don't always have the lemonade that I like (if you like the limoncello soda the other flavors just don't hit the same no matter what they tell you). We love the feeling of walking around the eataly store; it's like a little city, and if you've never been, you absolutely should go at least once. Sometimes the service can be slow but overall it's a solid meal.

Sunny P.

Yelp
The food was amazing, favorite dishes were the table side pasta and the focaccia appetizer. Our server Tonya was absolutely amazing as my wife can be difficult when it comes to her wine and she was so patient with her. The ambiance is calm and relaxing but it was 9pm when we got here. It was my daughter's birthday and the server brought her a cannoli for dessert. So good.

Sandra C.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was friendly. I prefer my pizza a little sturdier but that's the style it is made there. My bf really enjoyed it

Vania B.

Yelp
Not sure where to leave this review since it doesn't seem like there's a Yelp location for the gelato spot specifically, but their gelato section is right beside the La Pizza and La Pasta (towards the mall)! Medium split scoop was roughly $7 which honestly isn't bad given the size of it and you get two flavors! I got passion fruit and white peach which were both tasty and refreshing! Staff will let you sample up to two flavors per person, which is nice! There's a small seating area inside of here. (You can see it on the left side of my photo.)

Paul D.

Yelp
We eat here most times we visit Northpark. They have an excellent selection of cocktails. I recommend the Fig About It. The calamari is my daughter's favorite. The Burrata is my wife's favorite. I like the salmon. It's hard to find a nice restaurant that is still appropriate for well-behaved children. La Pizza & La Pasta strikes a great balance.

Dana K.

Yelp
Overall food was REALLY Good, only getting 3 stars due to rude front desk lady, mediocre server and price being higher than needed. When you have to pay for your basket of bread it's a bit much. Plan on spending $50/person with no drinks. I like the concept of it being part of Eately and makes for a nice outing, but won't be going out of my way to return quickly. Side note: the booths are built awkwardly making it hard to get in/out (I'd ask for a table next time.)

Rickster Z.

Yelp
La Pizza & La Pasta is one of three restaurants listed for Eataly Dallas in Northpark Mall. And if you look real hard, you'll see that I've already penned a sonnet to Terra (in the form of a Yelp review), which is perhaps the slightly more upscale, bigger brother restaurant to LP & LP. And for most of my visits to Eataly, I usually end up dining (once again) at Terra, but on our most recent visit, we decided to give LP & LP a whirl. (However, given our generally good success at Terra, I already knew that this untried joint probably wouldn't fall short. And I was right.) I love their menu. All of the dishes are listed in Italian. And when I order, I unabashedly butcher the pronunciation. I ordered the LO SPAGHETTO AL POMODORO and the INSALATA DI CAVOLO NERO. When I recited these selections to our delightful waitstaff, I'm sure it sounded worse than a beginning student of Italian with a bad Texas twang. Which is bizarre considering I'm not from Texas and I don't have a twang. Oh well. When they delivered my salad, I thought I made a terrible mistake. I didn't realize that my INSALATA DI CAVOLO NERO was KALE (insert scary music from Psycho). But I decided to soldier on and try to enjoy it. And guess what? I did enjoy it, so much so, that I announced to the nearby tables around me while pointing to my empty bowl, "This was a kale salad and I ate the WHOLE THING!" And my LO SPAGHETTO AL POMODORO? Just like similar selections at Terra, the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. And like most restaurants I've enjoyed in the real Italy, Eataly knows how to cook pasta. If you surmised that I enjoyed my dinner and visit to LP & LP, you'd be correct. And from now on, my future visits to Eataly will now be a toss up between Terra and LP & LP. At least until we give Eataly's third restaurant a try. Until then, ARRIVEDERCI.

Mike S.

Yelp
Good (but not exceptional) Italian food. It is a nice restaurant with lots of families, and the seating is a little tight. Our service is typically quite good. Most of the menu selections are either pasta or pizza. The pizza is quite good, although the pasta seems to be expensive for what you get (spaghetti with red sauce, no meat is $22). There are three salad options, and you can add protein to those. They have a very good cocktail menu and a reasonable wine list with many Italian selections.

Kelly S.

Yelp
This is a cute spot inside of Eataly. The ambiance isnt amazing because it is very loud. They dimmed the lights as it got later and that was nice, but it feels a little like a mall food court with all the noise. Its great that you can see them making food right there and they do prepare some items table side. I was with a group of 6- including myself. We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation which was great. The servers were nice enough but not very attentive. They certainly didnt add to the experience. I liked that for everyone who ordered wine, they were poured a sample to taste before committing to a full glass. One of my biggest frustrations here was the wait. It was a very long wait to order appetizers and mains and then waiting for the food as well. It was a Weds evening and a 6 pm reservation and we ended up there a little over 2 hours. We were fine visiting but it was a very long time to wait for our food. When the food arrived it looked pretty and tasted ok. I couldnt decide and ordered the burrata and prosciutto appetizer along with the quadratti pasta and a margherita pizza. The burrata was great. You cant go wrong with meat, cheese and bread. It had a nice, simple presentation. The pasta was a bit tough and didnt appear to have uniform thickness. Just could have used maybe another minute or thinner edges. The lemon/butter/pistachio sauce on top was delish. I was only able to eat a slice of the pizza but it was a nice thin crust. Simple. I couldnt tell you how authentic any of it was but it was pretty good. Was it worth the price tag? I dont think so. I paid $75 for the app, pasta and pizza along with a cannoli for dessert. Maybe my problem is that i can cook so i have higher expectations? I would try the food again however for the price and the ambiance i didnt love it.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Meh. Caprese salad had unripe, green tomatoes which was disappointing. The kale and spinach salad with grilled chicken was as expected for kale m, thanks for the 2 pieces of spinach, again a bit disappointing. The all meat pizza for my husband was good. For $94 plus tip, we expected much more. Since gallbladder surgery, watching what to eat is much more difficult otherwise kale would not be a first choice. Having a non alcoholic option for alcohol was good! Glad to have had what seemed like a treat in place of alcohol in over a month. Hope to go back when feeling I can actually eat real food. The atmosphere is really loud but very nice and tolerable for the most part. Save the espresso for the coffee shop downstairs..

Lala C.

Yelp
We had been so looking forward to eating here after stopping in for a quick visit and look around the expansive place and dining options. When we finally went here, very disappointed on how inflexible the kitchen is on modifications even for something so simple as changing a type of pasta for a dish. Cacio e pepe was inedible and the kitchen refused to add more freshly grated pepper, really? Stick to the market, focaccia, pizza was very good. Would not return, flexibility and not ego is essential in the service industry. Replace that Chef!

Marcos R.

Yelp
My family and I ate here for the 1st time today. We were pretty disappointed in most of the food/ portion sizes We started with the montanara cipolle pizza which was overall full of flavor. The dough could have been cooked a little longer in my opinion. But the worst part was the small size of the pizza for the $24 price tag. Overpriced! I had the fettuccine Alfredo and it was the smallest portion out of all the plates we had, even my daughter had a bigger portion and her order came off of the KIDS menu! My wife had the linguine al pesto and the server who brought it, DROWNED it in olive oil. It completely ruined the dish. The crab on top was delicious but also a small amount of crab My daughter's plate was the most bland of all. The sauce had absolutely no flavor and neither did her ONE meatball. ONE MEATBALL! Other than that, restaurant is BEAUTIFUL inside and our waiter was excellent and attentive.

Nicole S.

Yelp
This is a cool place! The food was really good and fresh! The gluten free pizza crust was great!! Loved the caprese salad! The fettuccini Alfredo got mixed reviews, I think the pizza is the move here! The service was a bit slow. This is a pretty casual lunch place, with great fresh food. The connected Italian store is awesome too!

Kasha F.

Yelp
We love visiting Eataly anytime we are in Dallas. Last time we visited with friends, we ate at La Pizza & La Pasta. Everyone ordered various drinks and loved them. My grapefruit spritz was super fresh. We got the antipasti board for a starter and it was amazing! I ordered the TAGLIATELLE ALL A BOLOGNESE as my main, and it was delicious!

Natasha E.

Yelp
First time here and we had such an amazing time. Our server was on top of it. We enjoyed all his recommendations. Not really a wine person, but we took a leap of faith and tried the wine he suggested would pair nicely with our meal. Oh my gosh, I will be buying that wine, thanks to Andre. We will be coming back and asking for Andre as our server!

Kelley H.

Yelp
So cute and intimate feeling. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. It gives a true Italian feeling. Really nice overall restaurant and staff. The food itself was really yummy. Highly recommend making a reservation just in case. If you're looking for a nice dining experience for pasta and pizza- highly recommended!

Frank S.

Yelp
5/5 AMAZING Having gone to Rossopomodoro, I discovered that they have pizza from the same chain in Venice. The pizza here is the most incredible authentic Italian, it is made exactly as it is in Venice. There is consistency, and the dough is incredible. Service is great and friendly and the ambiance is nice and elegant. Highly recommend the pizza. No matter which one :)

Steven P.

Yelp
We had a Sunday lunch and were seated promptly at their 11 am opening time. Tim was our server and was terrific throughout our experience. Tim brought some sourdough bread and olive oil, which was a nice start - fresh and very flavorful bread dipped in the luscious olive oil - yum! We ordered the caprese salad, meatballs, and rigatoni carbonara. The caprese was beautifully presented and tasted even better. The meatballs were 3 to an order in a fairly simple San Marzano sauce. The meatballs were on the small side given the price for three... I was hoping for a much more tender meatball from them, but it was still good. My expectations were higher. A nice grilled sourdough accompanied the meatballs. Now I am a carbonara aficionado. I make it, I eat it, I have watched an embarrassing amount of videos about it. I have made carbonara with pasta and guanciale from Eataly as well. This was my first time having rigatoni as it's traditionally made with spaghetti or bucatini. It was very good, except it was way too salty! Yes, the Romano cheese and guanciale are both salty, but perhaps the pasta water was over salted - but it was overbearing... and I enjoy salt as much as anyone. The carbonara was executed perfectly otherwise and the rigatoni worked for me. If only it were less salty. We made small talk with Tim, and I mentioned the excessive saltiness, and the manager took $10 off the dish's price of $24. That was gracious of them and certainly not why I commented to him about it. All in all, a nice experience at La Pasta and La Pizza. Give it a try and of course be sure to browse the market and take home some goodies!

Ashley G.

Yelp
La Pizza & La Pasta is always a great place to go!! The service, ambience, food, and drinks are always top tier! The gnocchi I had last night was the best I've ever had. We went on the $19 for two courses night and it also happened to be the night they were serving the original fettuccini Alfredo recipe- which was to die for. We each got the basil spritz drink and it was super refreshing! 10/10 every single time

Amanda H.

Yelp
Genesis was great waitress!! Food was large portions. Seated quickly even on a Saturday night.

Yelp
Went on Sunday at 4pm restaurant was empty and were given a small table in high traffic area. We opted for the bar instead. We were somewhat acknowledged. Once we got our wine ordered we did opt for the burrata and was notified no bread with the app so we ordered the focaccia bread. The both needed salt and didn't know there were to options for the focaccia. It took a while for the bar staff to take our entree order. Spatzle and seafood linguini were not good. Bland and warm. We sat back and waited to be acknowledged by the 2 bartenders. They should have noticed we were not eating. It did not happen. I said excuse me so we could order more wine. (Sean) looked over his shoulder and gave us a very rude look as if we were interrupting him told the other bartender and proceeded to walk away. At this point we were finished. Appetite lost and rude customer service. We asked for the check and a manager. This was the opportunity for either of the bartenders to ask if something was wrong. Instead notified the host and then proceeded to talk to other staff and look at us smiling/laughing. Once a manager finally showed up after sending a host we informed them of what happened. They did take care of our food. It's not about money. Sean and Clayton in the bar did not have any ounce of care for service. Clayton avoided us until asked and Sean was busy chatting up another customer while sipping on his Starbucks. I have eaten at their other two restaurants and were pleased. If you go do not sit at the bar if they are working.

Yelp
The hostess and server were great here! She was so friendly and attentive. My date and I only stopped in for a drink and an app. He ordered an Italian beer on draft, and I ordered a Moscow Mule. We decided to try the Bruschetta. Both drinks were yummy. The appetizer was delicious, but wasn't worth $10. Which brings me to my next point, that everything on the menu is pretty overpriced. But remember, you are in Eataly, so it comes with the territory. The restaurant space is quite large, open, and hugged up against a gorgeous bar and giant pizza oven. I wouldn't recommend bringing children here, but there were a lot of families with young children when I visited. So maybe I'm totally wrong about that. I feel like I should give this place 3 stars just because it's such a splurge and not something I'm going to crave or really want to revisit. But I do feel like Eataly is such a special place, the restaurant was actually fun to try, and I wouldn't want them to close. So, 4 stars.

Yelp
I have waited 72 hours to write a review. Consider that my cooling off period from the aggravation of them billing me twice and "misplacing" my credit card. That is never a good way to make a first impression. The Maple Cinnamon Old Fashion was good, tasty, and a little light on the alcohol part, like dessert for the appetizer. I liked it. It's a hectic place, with lots of running about. But doing little, it seems. My friend and I were discussing orders; I asked if she had an interest in calamari, and before she could answer, the waiter, who must have been behind me, popped in and pitched their "tasty, almost no bread" product, interrupting our conversation inappropriately. Waiters are not meant to be intrusive, yet he was. I do not like the 'new best friend' school of service. We decided on just a pasta dish for me, and she would have a cocktail. He twice asked of her, "...and nothing for you?" He acted as if he was somehow put off and didn't feel welcome at all. So, as part of his presentation, he gives a little "warning" that the pasta will be like in the old country and 'al dente.' Sure, everyone says that. But you know what? There is also just undercooked pasta. RIGATONI ALLA CARBONARA was large, thick-walled tubes undercooked, tough with thinnish sauce and a few bits of meat. Unimpressed, and did I mention not al dente, it's al undercooked? $64 for two drinks and one bare pasta. The bread was extra, but the waiter didn't bring ours (or charge for). Overall, Eataly feels like Disney did an Italian market, almost authentic but not quite real. Gimme Jimmy's

Yelp
We stopped by Eataly to try La Pizza La Pasta's Restaurant Fest deal. I was so impressed by Eataly in general, so I was excited to check out one of the restaurants. We ordered the Zucchini fritters, Arancini and Bruschetta, to start. All three were delicious, but the Bruschetta was my personal favorite. I ordered the Neapolitan style Margherita pizza and it was very good. Everyone else ordered a pasta dish and all felt the al dente cooked noodles were too undercooked for their taste. The server did offer to replace their dishes, but no one took him up on the offer. We know now to order any noodles there "well done." We also ordered a cocktail and a mocktail and both were delicious. I didn't take note of the names, but the cocktail had raspberry and the mocktail was super refreshing. I'd recommend checking this place out.

Yelp
Not worth the drive, hassle parking, or price. What a disappointing experience. First off, service was terrible. Our waiter never checked on us after bringing the food, which was not good. His overall disposition was not one of customer service. He was not friendly. He was not attentive. He didn't seem to grasp the concept of service. Three of us got pasta. Every pasta dish was barely dusted with sauce. I've never seen such skimpy portions of sauce. Eating dry pasta sucks. Especially when it lacks flavor. The gnocchi was about as tasty as frozen gnocchi from a bag. One of us ordered a pizza. That was actually delicious, the solitary reason for two stars instead of one. The appetizer we not good. Aside from the pizza, the food left a lot to be desired. When the waiter brought the check, I asked for some extra sauce for my son's dry pasta. The waiter brought back a portion of about two to three tablespoons of sauce and charged us about seven dollars for it. I would never eat here again. I would consider taking out a pizza if I were in the area, nothing else.

Yelp
The male bartender was beyond slow, and the drinks are ridiculously overpriced!! $18.40 for a martini and they give you a really small pour. And it's poorly made - no floating ice crystals here for crisp well made martini... The caprese roll up bar was super creepy. With weird masked preparation lady, giving us a "lesson" on doling out mushy tomatoes (and it's July - prime heirloom season!!!) and the microscopic burrata ball - I could go on. The polpette (tiny meatballs) were dry and tasteless. The panna cotta was topped with so much "crumble" which just ruined it was a mess. Everything is overpriced on top of it all. $16 for Tira Misú is a joke. This restaurant is but a mere caricature of quality true Italian food. If you've been to Italy, you know

Yelp
We went here for a late lunch last Sunday. We arrived late because of the baby but they held our reservation and were very kind, (service was incredible). We ordered many flavorful dishes, especially the pasta dishes. I ordered mushroom papardelle and it was divine. Neph loved the seafood pasta and niece loved the bolognese. I loved the Texas tea and of course little Davey loved the pizza!

Yelp
I've been to Eatly in Boston and had a great dining experience! Decided to visit Eatly while I was in Dallas location, stopped in for lunch and it did not disappoint! Greeter and wait staff were fantastic and friendly! Restaurant was crowded and recommend reservations. Good cocktail and wine selection. We started with the calamari, which was fried lightly and delicious. They have a great lunch special, so opted for the arugula salad and Cacio E Pepe pizza lunch combo. Both were delicious! Salad was fresh and pizza dough was fantastic. Our table also had the Cacio de Pepe, Targliatelle all Bolognese and Pappardelle Al Funghi e Tart pastas and they were amazing! Great experience overall! Also for dessert, recommend you head to the Gelato stand in Eatly and try their Afogado - AMAZING! Only issue was the restroom...there is a line to wait so use the restroom outside the restaurant.

Yelp
This was our first time at this restaurant. It's located within Eataly at the NorthPark Mall. The hostess is really friendly and our waiter, Nic, is really knowledgable. For lunch today, we ordered: Burrata - perfect as an appetizer. The cheese was creamy and a little salty. To contrast, the cheese sits gently on a sun-dried tomato pesto that sweet and savory. It's also served with some rustic bread so you can spread the delicious cheese! Tagliatelle alla Bolognese - The pasta was cooked perfectly to al dente and the beef and pork ragu was decent. We prefer the version in New York because they use more beef in their ragu which has a deeper flavor. Porcini E Speck - This is a white pizza topped with urbani porcini and white truffle cream. There's also huge slices of cremini mushrooms and speck as well as chunks of mozzarella di bufala. It sounds like a lot on one pizza but it all works well together. Make sure to add some red pepper flakes for that perfect bite! Overall, this meal is a bit pricey, but you pay for the service and ambiance. I will definitely be back. Maybe not too soon to let my wallet recover a bit. Pro Tip: make sure to call ahead or use OpenTable to make a reservation or else you'll be waiting quite a while for table.
